Walkthrough
Before meeting Penny, you should take care of the lessons. Proceed to the Potions classroom when you are ready. To unlock the Scintillation Solution lesson, you need to earn nine stars from Potions classes. Select the class duration that suits you and hit Start to begin.
As always, prioritize bonus progress actions to save some energy.
Also, try your best to complete all of the mini-tasks for some extra Knowledge points.
Return to the classroom once you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson. Learning how to brew the Scintillating Solution requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass, so avoid starting this lesson if you are low on energy.
Be sure to pay attention to Professor Snape’s question.
When you earn the fifth star, you will need to wave your wand over the cauldron to finish your potion.
Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You can claim an additional reward in the Potions section of your Hogwarts Record.
Proceed to the training grounds for the second lesson of the chapter. To unlock the Bell Tailslide lesson, you need to acquire nine stars from Flying classes. Select the class duration you prefer and hit Start to begin.
Like before, focusing on actions with bonus progress should save you some energy.
As for the mini-tasks, successfully completing each of these will grant you some Courage points.
Return to the training grounds when you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson. Learning the Bell Tailslide maneuver requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Be sure to correctly answer Madam Hooch’s question.
Upon earning the fifth star, you will be tasked with demonstrating this maneuver. Trace the path on the screen to do so.
Completing this lesson will permanently increase your energy limit by 1. You can claim an additional reward in the Flying section of your Hogwarts Record.
Now that the lessons are out of the way, you can meet with Penny and check the Polyjuice potion. Head to the Artefact Room when you are ready. You will happily greet your Hufflepuff friend and tell her you’ve come to pick up the Polyjuice potion.
Penny will mention the importance of properly brewing the potion to prevent its effects from wearing off too soon. you’ll nod and inform her that ‘R’ will have a meeting soon, expressing your hope that the potion’s effects last long enough. Then Penny will tell you that the Polyjuice potion is definitely complete. Also, she will inform you that the potion won’t really taste nice.
She’ll then ask you an interesting question. You have three options to respond with. None of these will impact the story meaningfully, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Penny will be worried about you and asks if you can go over your plan to ease her mind. You’ll be happy to share the details with her. This requires earning five stars within an hour. Only one star is needed to pass.
There are bonus actions tied to your character. Prioritize them to save energy.
Shortly after, you’ll say that with Tonks, Jae, and Talbott by your side, you intend to get as much information about ‘R’ as possible. Penny will like your plan, and she will give you some words of encouragement before you go.
You’ll thank Penny for her assistance and say that it’s time to get Tonks, Jae, and Talbott together to drink the potion and become the dark evil witch Rakepick. You will have to wait approximately four hours until your friends are ready to meet with you. Since the chapter is not time-limited, it is recommended to wait until the timer expires.
Proceed to the Owlery once the waiting time is over. Upon your arrival, you’ll call out for Tonks, and you’ll hear a response from a voice.
You’ll quickly ready your wand.
Moments later, you will notice a dark witch approaching you.
Before long, you will realize that the witch in front of you is Tonks in disguise and you will also hear Jae’s voice behind you.
As it turns out, your friends wanted to play a little prank on you. Jae will ask if you are mad about the prank. If you like him and Tonks, it is recommended to say you’re not mad.
Shortly after, Tonks will ask about Talbott and you will say that he is ready for the mission and that he’ll be keeping more of a bird’s eye watch at Knockturn Alley. You will also notice a familiar-looking eagle sitting among some of the owls.
Now all that’s left is to drink the Polyjuice Potion. Getting ready to drink the potion requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are reward actions linked to Jae and your character. Prioritize them if you are looking to save some energy.
You’ll still be a bit uncertain about drinking the potion, but thankfully, your friends will be very supportive. Tonks will convince you that you are ready to drink the potion, and Jae will add that they have your back. After a word of encouragement, you’ll take out the potion and chug it bottoms up. Moments later, you will transform into Patricia Rakepick.
Your friends will be shocked by the effects of the Polyjuice Potion.
It’s finally time to go to Knockturn Alley.
Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters. You will immediately notice the wizard in white robes who attacked you at the Lakeshore.
Jae will point at the Dark witch standing next to the wizard.
Jae will also add that Tonks and Talbot are both ready to help you if anything goes wrong. Moments later, you’ll decide to approach the ‘R’ members before they notice you standing alone and before the effects of your potion wear off.
The White-Robed Wizard will be shocked to see Rakepick arriving and the witch will say that they weren’t expecting you, and she will ask why you came. There are two options to respond with. Both of these options will lead to a similar outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
Shortly after, you’ll propose getting down to business, but the Mahoutokoro Wizard will mention that other ‘R’ members haven’t arrived yet. You’ll tell him that you wait for no one and you will order to discuss ‘R’ plans. Discussing ‘R’’s plans requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to your character and the White-Robed Wizard. Prioritizing these should save you a bit of energy.
Apparently, ‘R’ has a mole inside Hogwarts.
The Dark Witch will say they’re always talking to the mole, and you’ll cautiously suggest you want to talk to the mole personally. Unfortunately, before getting a reply, the real Rakepick will show up and blast you with her wand.
The chaos will ensue, and your friends will quickly come to your aid.
Rakepick will approach you, ready to strike once again, and just in the nick of time, Jacob and Mad-Eye Moody will arrive to save the day.
Rakepick will realize that she’s outnumbered, and will quickly apparate away.
Jacob immediately went after her, but Rakepick ran away. However, Mad-Eye Moody calls the mission a success and he will say that you don’t need Rakepick right now. This will confuse you, but he will say that he has the next best thing. Amidst all the chaos, he managed to capture the White-Robed Wizard.
By the looks of it, Mahoutokoro Wizard will soon be headed back to Azkaban. But before that, Mad-Eye Moody wants to interrogate him. Moments later, the effects of the Polyjuice Potion will wear off. You will have to wait three hours until the interrogation starts. Since you are most likely low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
Once the waiting time is over, head to the Boathouse to interrogate the prisoner. You will thank Mad-Eye Moody for rescuing you from Rakepick, you will also say that you never felt so happy when you saw him and Jacob. Still, you will wonder how he knew she would show up at the meeting.
He will answer that he got a tip that she was coming out of hiding to deal with a threat to ‘R’, and he will add that when your brother told him that you went there as Rakepick, they decided together to crash your party. Then you will also inform Mad-Eye Moody about the mole.
Soon enough, he will turn his attention to Mahoutokoro Wizard. You can choose whether you want to threaten him or reason with him. Unfortunately, none of these options will get him to talk, so feel free to pick either one.
In any case, Mad-Eye Moody will cut him short.
You’ll ask him about the spy, and Mad-Eye will ask the Wizard about the attempt on your life. The Wizard will simply say that ‘R’ doesn’t want to kill you. You’ll remind him of what happened near Black Lake, and he’ll admit he was trying to capture you. It turns out ‘R’ wants you to join them and, someday, become their leader. This news will shock you.
Shortly after, Mad-Eye Moody will suggest interrogating the prisoner some more. This requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions tied to your character and Mad-Eye Moody. Focus on those if you are looking to save some energy.
Once you’re finished, Moody will directly ask the White-Robed Wizard to reveal ‘R’s leader, but the Wizard won’t cooperate. You’ll also try asking about the spy once more, but unfortunately, it won’t produce any results either.
Upon noticing that you’re upset about it, he will provoke you even more. Suddenly, Mad-Eye Moody will blast him unconscious with his wand.
He will explain that Mahoutokoro Wizard was uncooperative, so he decided to silence him for a while. Also, having him unconscious will make it easier to transport him to Azkaban. You will wonder about what the Wizard in White Robes said earlier.
Unfortunately, Moody won’t be able to answer this question. However, he will advise you not to discuss it with anyone, at least not until he can learn more. For now, the most important thing will be to find out who the mole is.
You’ll decide to hold another Circle of Khanna meeting. Proceed to the Hog’s Head Inn when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters and check out what they have to say. You will gather everyone and thank them for coming to the meeting.
Merula will bring up news about your mission, and you will be happy to share it with everyone and tell them that you managed to infiltrate ‘R’. Shortly after, Ben will name all those who helped the most.
Unfortunately, there is also some bad news, as you’ll inform them about Rakepick’s unexpected appearance at the meeting. Tulip will ask if you were scared. There are two options to respond with. Neither of these will influence the story in any significant way, so feel free to take your pick.
Merula will then request that you share the other news, and you’ll inform your friends about the mole working for ‘R’ inside Hogwarts. Needless to say, this will shock some of them.
The Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts will state that the next objective is identifying the mole since it could be almost anyone, and you’ll also share a few words on the matter.
Next, you will talk about who the mole might be. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus actions linked to your character and Badeea. Prioritize these if you want to save some energy.
Once you’re done discussing, Ben will point out the most likely suspects.
Still, proving that any of them is a mole won’t be an easy task. Merula will suggest splitting up and interrogating the suspects. Thankfully, your friends will be more than willing to help, so you will thank all of them for being so supportive.
This will conclude Chapter 35 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 300 Coins and 2000 Experience Points.
Could any of the suspects be the mole? And how will you interrogate them? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
