Chapter 4 – Friends In Low Places
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Four of Year Six of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous chapter, you learned that Torvus might be able to help you decode Trelawney’s prophecy. Sadly, after talking to him, you found out that it is beyond his abilities to do so. However, he told you that some members of his tribe might be able to help you.
Also, he said that in order for you to be allowed inside the Centaur camp, you need to present suitable offerings, so you went to gather some gifts for the centaur tribe. Now is the time to finally go and see if these offerings will indeed be good enough.

Walkthrough
But before that, you can complete the lessons. Proceed to the Training Grounds when you are ready To unlock the Wollongong Shimmy lesson, you need to earn a total of nine stars from the Flying classes. Select the class duration suitable to your liking and hit Start to begin.
As always, focus on the reward actions whenever they are available to save some energy.
Pay attention to the mini-tasks to earn some additional Courage points.
Once you earn all nine stars, head back to the Training Grounds to attend the lesson. Learning Wollongong Shimmy requires obtaining five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
This is pretty similar to any of the regular classes, so you should treat it as such.
Once you earn the fifth star, you’ll be tasked with performing this maneuver. Trace the path on the screen to do so.
Completing this lesson will permanently increase your energy limit by one point. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll also be able to claim an additional reward in the Flying section of your Hogwarts Record.
Next, proceed to the Divination classroom when you are ready. Palmistry lesson requires no unlocking, which should make things more manageable. To complete it, you need to earn five stars within eight hours.
This one is fairly similar to most other classes, so you shouldn’t worry too much. Simply proceed with it like with any other class and you’ll be fine.
Completing mini-tasks successfully will award you with some bonus Empathy points.
Once you’re done with the lesson, hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll earn an additional reward for completing the lesson. You can collect it in the Divination section of your Hogwarts Record.
Now that lessons are out of the way, you can proceed to Centaur Camp to present your offerings. Torvus will happily greet you and he’ll remind you that you’re soon to be judged by one of the centaurs of his tribe.
He’ll also be curious to know what you think of the camp. There are three options to respond with. Other than a few dialogue lines, this choice won’t affect the story in any significant way, so feel free to pick whichever option you deem appropriate.
Shortly after, your judge will arrive. He’ll introduce himself as Firenze, and he will ask you to present your offerings, and then he’ll decide whether you are valuable enough to stay in their camp.
You’ll then begin presenting your offerings, starting with the star chart Badeea gave you.
Firenze will find this gift quite interesting.
You’ll then show him your next gift – Hagrid’s Rock Cakes.
While he won’t be too excited about this one, he’ll be happy to know you’re friends with Hagrid.
Lastly, you’ll present the herbs you brought.
Firenze will appreciate it, no matter which herbs you decided to present as an offering. After seeing all of the offerings, he’ll decide to allow you to visit the Camp as an honored guest. Not long after that, he’ll offer to help decode Trelawney’s prophecy. Consulting with Firenze requires earning at least one out of five stars within three hours.
The only bonus action here is tied to your character, so prioritize doing it whenever you can to save some energy.
Once you finish the task, Firenze will tell you that he needs to study the heavens in order to fully understand the meaning of the prophecy. Sadly, this will take a while, so you’ll have to wait until he is able to tell you more about it. Luckily, he’ll give you his word that he’ll do everything in his power to help you.
Next, you’ll need to meet Beatrice in the Artefact Room. Proceed there when you are ready. Apparently, she is still angry at her sister.
She’ll make it quite clear she doesn’t want to talk to her. Moments later, Penny will arrive.
Two of them will then start arguing and you’ll decide it’s not something you should meddle in. However, both of them will ask you to stay, and you’ll agree to do so if they can at least try talking to each other. This requires earning five stars within three hours. Only one star is needed to pass.
There are bonus actions tied to Beatrice, Penny, and your character. Focus on those actions to save energy.
After completing this task, you’ll have to decide whose side you want to take. If you like Penny it is recommended to pick the first option, especially if you are dating her.
Regardless of this choice, the two of them will continue arguing, and Beatrice will say some harsh words before leaving the Artefact room.
Penny will express her apologies to you for subjecting you to their argument. Shortly after, you’ll observe that one of the skulls has disappeared.
You’ll decide to go to Knockturn Alley and see if you can find him there. There is a waiting period of four hours before you can continue. It is recommended to simply wait until this timer runs out. That way, your energy will recharge in the meantime.
Once the waiting time is over, head to the Knockturn Alley to meet Ben. Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the Knockturn denizens. After asking Ben if he took the skull from the Artefact Room, he’ll tell you that he’s after something much more important.
Apparently, he is planning to interrogate some of the Dark Wizards until he gets the answers he’s looking for. You have two options to respond to him. None of these will affect the outcome, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.
Regardless of the option you choose, Ben will decide to take matters into his own hands.
He’ll begin by questioning one of the individuals from Knockturn Alley and that will turn out to be none other than Mundungus Fletcher.
Apparently, he is hiding from someone.
Eventually, he’ll decide to tell you more about it. This requires earning five stars within three hours. One star is needed to pass.
There are reward actions tied to Mundungus and your character, so prioritize doing those to save some energy.
As it turns out, the white-robed wizard who attacked Mundungus last year is the one he’s hiding from.
Not long after that, you’ll tell Ben that you need to meet with the Headmaster. Proceed to Dumbledore’s office when you are ready. When you arrive you’ll inform the Headmaster about some of the recent events.
You’ll also tell him about Trelawney’s prophecy and the centaurs.
He’ll be quite impressed once he hears that.
Afterward, he’ll be curious to know how you are feeling. You have three options to respond with. Neither of those will have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick whichever option you want.
Shortly after, you’ll get to discuss your friends with Professor Dumbledore. Doing so requires earning at least one out of five stars within three hours.
There are reward actions tied to Professor Dumbledore and your character. Prioritize those actions to save energy.
When you are done, you’ll also mention the white-robed wizard and The Headmaster will have an interesting theory about that one.
He’ll then suggest you spend some time with your friends while he looks into this theory.
Speaking of friends, you should definitely check out how Charlie is doing. However, there is a waiting period of three hours before you can do that. As usual, it is recommended to simply wait until the timer runs out.
Once the waiting time is over, head to the Three Broomsticks to meet Charlie. When you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say. You’ll inform Charlie about the latest happenings, but he won’t seem too excited to hear about it.
After everything that happened with Rakepick and the Portrait Vault, Charlie is thinking of dropping out of Hogwarts. You have two options to reply with, but both of these will lead to the same outcome.
Soon after, you’ll suggest talking things over before he makes any rash decision. This will act similarly to drinking butterbeer with a friend. The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the cost of each attempt.
Simply pick the choices that will reassure Charlie that it’s in his best interest to finish his Hogwarts studies. The questions and the answers to them are shown below.
- I just want to run away… – And leave your brother behind? (Empathy)
- Why should I stay? – Your friends and family need you. (Knowledge)
- What if I’m betrayed again? – You can’t live in fear of ‘what ifs. (Courage)
- What if Rakepick returns? – We’ll stop her. (Courage)
- But I’d rather live with dragons… – Hogwarts will prepare you for that. (Knowledge)

When you are done, you’ll earn a nice amount of friendship experience with Charlie.
He will agree to stay and finish his last two years at Hogwarts. He’ll also inform you that Bill is coming back to Hogwarts soon! and that’s not all. Apparently, Bill has a special surprise planned.
That will conclude Chapter 4 of Year 6. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 250 Coins and 2000 Experience Points. This will also add Fred Weasley to your list of friends.
Bill is coming back! You’ll get a chance to catch up with him and see how he’s been doing lately. And what surprise does he have planned? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
