Chapter 19
Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Nineteen of Year Seven of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you went to Peeves’ room with Chiara to look for Doxies and their Queen. After looking through Peeves’ stuff, a swarm of Doxies appeared, and the two of you had difficulties fending them off. Luckily, Victor arrived just in the nick of time, and saved you with a clever use of Bombarda. There was also a sandwich in Peeves’ room, so you decided to check the kitchen and see if you can find any Doxies there. As soon as you arrived, you noticed a lot of Doxy eggs in the kitchens, and Peeves was trapped. The three of you freed him and chased off the Doxies. You later followed them to the Prefects’ bathroom, and there you took care of the Doxy Queen and stopped the infestation. You then went to the Hospital Wing, and thankfully, Corey was recovering well from the Doxy bite. Later on, you went to the Great Hall to see Victor and thank him for helping you save Hogwarts. You had the chance to get to know him better, and even befriend him. Lastly, you and Chiara were summoned by the Headmaster, who informed you that you will be visiting St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Both of you were excited about the assignment, and were looking forward to getting the chance to learn more about healing. Now is the time to continue the story. Upon starting this chapter, you will be able to visit a new location – St. Mungo’s. You’ll also notice that the assignments are locked behind the story, which is why it’s recommended to complete the story first. Proceed to the Reception when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.

You will notice that Chiara and you weren’t the only ones Professor Dumbledore picked for the assignment.

Both Penny and Chiara will be very excited about St. Mungo’s.

Chiara will find it odd that Jae was one of the students the Headmaster chose.

He will explain why that was the case.

You will notice that Talbott is awfully quiet, so you will ask if he’s also excited about being at St. Mungo’s.

He will calmly say that he is.

He’ll go on and say that his mother used to be a Healer at St. Mungo’s.

Penny will be curious to know if you are excited about the assignment. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

Shortly after, you will be approached by a member of St. Mungo’s staff.

The kind lady will introduce herself as Miriam Strout and say that she’ll be your supervisor.

She’ll then explain some things about your school project.

You and your friends will politely introduce yourselves.

Jae will say he is happy that he won’t have to spend time in detention.

Apparently, Professor Dumbledore already told Madam Strout all about Jae.

You will then get to learn about a history of St. Mungo’s before you get your first assignment.

Learning about St. Mungo’s requires earning five stars within an hour. Since all five stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

There is a 5-cost action tied to a nearby portrait. Prioritize it if you want to save a bit of energy.

Madam Strout will sum things up after she’s done telling you about the history of St. Mungo’s.

She’ll ask if any of you have any question.

You will ask her about your first assignment.

Chiara will also be curious about it.

Jae will be surprised to see Chiara excited.

Madam Strout will like her enthusiasm.

She will go on and say that you will be visiting the Alchemy Room as part of your first assignment.

Proceed there when you are ready.

When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of the characters by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.

Madam Strout will welcome you to the Alchemy Room. She’ll explain that all of their healing potions are brewed there.

You will take a good look around and notice some interesting alchemical equipment.

You will recall hearing that alchemy is mostly about turning metal into gold.

Penny will correct you and say that alchemy and potion-making have a lot in common.

Madam Strout will explain some things about the alchemy done in St. Mungo’s.

Jae will point out that they could use some of the materials to create gold.

Madam Strout will remind him that the Alchemy Room is only used for medical purposes.

She’ll then tell you about your first assignment. As it seems, you will be tasked with organizing the potions cabinet.

You’ll be slightly surprised to hear that.

Madam Strout will wonder if you have anything to say about organizing the potions cabinet. There are two options to choose from. If you want to show some enthusiasm, it is recommended to pick the second option. Otherwise, feel free to pick either one.

Jae will find the first assignment quite similar to detention.

According to Madam Strout, it is very important to be knowledgeable about potions.

Still, Jae will remain unconvinced.

In any case, you’ll be quite confident you have what it takes to finish the task.

Shortly after, you will start your first assignment at St. Mungo’s.

Organizing Potions cabinet requires earning five stars within eight hours. Three stars are needed to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are 5-cost actions tied to Jae, the furnace near Chiara, and the drawers and shelves next to Penny. Focus on those if you want to save as much energy as possible.

With the combined effort of you and your friends, you’ll organize the entire Potions cabinet.

Jae will find it odd that you’re excited about such a simple task.

Still, just because the task is simple, it doesn’t mean it is not important.

Madam Strout will agree with Penny and say that every task at St. Mungo’s is equally important.

She’ll add that all of you will need to work on your bedside manner.

Luckily, you have quite a lot of experience when it comes to that.

If you’ve completed a side quest to help Madam Pomfrey during Year 2, you’ll get an extra line of dialogue.

Jae will wonder if there’s more to bedside manner than just not yelling at the patients.

According to Penny, it’s more about making sure that the patients are comfortable.

Madam Strout will be curious to hear your opinion. There are two options to choose from. If you like Jae, it is recommended to pick the first option. If you like Penny, you should pick the second option.

Jae will find it hard to see a connection between bedside manners and being a healer.

Madam Strout will ask him for a bit of patience.

She’ll then tell you about your next assignment.

As it seems you will get the chance to work with patients.

Penny will be excited about it.

You’ll figure out that you will be working on your bedside manner.

Madam Strout will nod and say that each of you will be able to practice with your new patients.

You will need to wait three hours until you can continue. Since you will probably be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.

Proceed to the Patient Room once the waiting time is over.

Upon entering the room, you will politely introduce yourself.

However, you will immediately recognize the patient. It will be none other than Rubeus Hagrid.

He will be surprised to see you.

You’ll tell him you are visiting St. Mungo’s as part of a school assignment.

You will also say that you were assigned by Madam Strout to work on your bedside manner.

You’ll ask Hagrid to tell you how he ended up in St. Mungo’s.

He will say that he had trouble with some creatures in the Forbidden Forest.

You’ll ask him to tell you the details.

Hagrid will say that he was bitten by an Acromantula.

You will be surprised to hear that, especially since Hagrid is friends with Acromantulas.

He’ll then decide to tell you the details of the story, but he will ask you to keep it a secret.

Talking to Hagrid requires earning five stars within one hour. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if your energy is low.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There is a 5-cost action linked to Hagrid, so focus on his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

As it seems, one of the younger Acromantulas bit Hagrid while he was talking to them.

And since he didn’t want anyone at Hogwarts to learn about the Acromantulas, Hagrid decided to come to St. Mungo’s.

He’ll admit that he isn’t too fond of hospitals.

You will tell him that your goal is to make him feel better.

Hagrid will be glad that he has a familiar person to talk to.

You’ll ask if there’s anything that you can do to make him feel comfortable.

After thinking for a moment, Hagrid will say that a pumpkin pasty would make him feel better.

He will ask if you like pumpkin pasties. There are two options to reply with. If you like these treats, it is recommended to pick the first option.

You will recall seeing a tea cart in the lobby, so you will figure out that you might find a pumpkin pasty there.

Hagrid will say that you don’t need to go out of your way to make him feel comfortable.

You will tell him not to worry, since you are supposed to help him feel better.

Hagrid will wholeheartedly thank you for your kind words.

You will then decide to look for a pumpkin pasty.

Head to the reception once you’re ready to continue.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.

Jae will be glad to see you arrive.

You will ask your friends about their patients.

Jae will say that his patient is unconscious, which is why he decided to grab something to eat. After all, there is little he can do to make his patient feel better, since the person isn’t awake.

Chiara will say that she is grabbing a treat for her patient.

She’ll say that she wants to do her best to make her patient feel comfortable.

You will tell them that you are also looking for a treat for your patient. You’ll say that your patient is someone they know.

Jae will assume that it is Mundungus Fletcher.

You’ll say that your patient is none other than Hagrid. You will also mention that he got into a trouble with some spiders.

Jae will figure out that you are not talking about ordinary spiders. There are two options to reply with. If you want to keep Hagrid’s secret, it is recommended to pick the second option.

Chiara will simply be glad that Hagrid came to St. Mungo’s to receive proper care.

You’ll agree with her and say that you don’t want to let him or Madam Strout down.

You will tell them that you are looking for a pumpkin pasty to make Hagrid feel at home.

You will approach the Healer running the tea cart and ask if he has any pumpkin pasties left.

He will tell you that he recently sold the last pumpkin pasty.

Needless to say, you won’t be too happy to hear that, especially since you want to make Hagrid feel comfortable.

The Healer will be glad to see your dedication to helping others.

Jae will suggest bartering for a pumpkin pasty.

Unfortunately, you won’t have anything to barter with.

In other words, your only option would be to convince the person who took the last pumpkin pasty to give it to you.

You will ask the Healer if he could tell you about the person who took the last pumpkin pasty.

Thankfully, he will agree to tell you about who took it.

Interviewing the Healer requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are 5-cost actions tied to the Healer and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

You will sum the things you learned about the person who took the last pumpkin pasty.

Jae will wonder if you have any idea who that person might be. There are three options to choose from. The correct answer is Bilton Bilmes.

You will decide to go to the Hospital Ward and look for Bilton there.

Chiara will tell you that she needs to get back to her patient and give her the treat she picked out.

As for Jae, he will decide to visit Bilton with you.

Chiara will kindly offer to check on his patient for him.

He will gladly accept her help.

Shortly after, you will leave the reception area.

The following task doesn’t involve spending any energy, so you can head to the Hospital Ward as soon as possible.

Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.

You will spot Bilton on one of the beds. Once you approach, you will notice a nose biting teacup stuck to his nose.

You’ll recall a fact about nose biting teacups.

Bilton will explain that he received a defective shipment. Luckily for his customers, he always tests all of the products before putting them on the shelf.

Jae will find the whole situation quite hilarious.

Bilton will wonder if you only came to laugh at him.

He’ll ask you to tell him why you decided to visit him. There are three options to reply with. If you like Bilton, it is recommended to pick the first option.

You will then tell him your visit has to do with the pumpkin pasty he got from the tea cart in the lobby.

Bilton will say that he managed to get the last pumpkin pasty.

Sadly, given that the teacup is stuck to his nose, he couldn’t taste the delicious treat.

You will kindly ask if you could have his pumpkin pasty.

Jae will add that you need it for Hagrid.

Bilton will be surprised to hear that Hagrid ended up in the hospital.

You’ll tell him that Hagrid had an encounter with a creature in the Forbidden Forest.

You will also say that you are helping him feel comfortable.

Bilton will be glad that you are helping Hagrid, but still, he will find it hard to part with the delicious pumpkin pasty.

You will decide to try to convince him.

The task window will display all the relevant information, so hit Start when you are ready to begin.

The attribute requirements for this task are fairly low, so you shouldn’t have much trouble completing it. Simply pick the answers that will convince Bilton that Hagrid will enjoy the pumpkin pasty, and you will complete the task in no time. Below are some of the questions and answers to them.

In the end, Bilton will agree to give you his pumpkin pasty.

You will thank him for being so kind and considerate of others.

Jae will say that you definitely have what it takes to be a healer. However, he won’t be sure if he’s suited for it.

You will advise him to check how his patient is doing.

He will figure out that you are right and say that he’s been reconsidering things lately.

You’ll be surprised to hear that.

Jae will tell you that it might be a good idea to take the pumpkin pasty to Hagrid as soon as possible.

You’ll nod before leaving the Hospital Ward.

You will need to wait four hours until you can continue. Like before, it is recommended to wait until the timer runs out.

Proceed to the Patient Room once the waiting time is over.

You will notice Penny in the room when you arrive.

Apparently, Chiara told her that Hagrid was at the hospital, so she decided to pay him a visit.

She was telling Hagrid about her time at St. Mungo’s.

You will ask if she likes being at St. Mungo’s.

She’ll happily say that she loves helping others.

After all, it is nice to focus on helping people rather than chasing Dark witches and wizards.

She’ll ask if you agree with her. There are three options to reply with. If you like Penny, it is recommended to go with the first or the third option.

Hagrid will be sure that both you and Penny will do fine, no matter the path you take.

You’ll then take the pumpkin pasty and hand it to Hagrid.

After eating the pumpkin pasty, Hagrid will find it hard to suppress the surge of emotions.

Penny and you will wonder if something is wrong.

Hagrid will say that it was one of the best pumpkin pasties he ever tasted.

You and Penny will be curious why he suddenly got upset.

Listening to Hagrid requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s recommended not to start this task if your energy bar is empty.

There are 5-cost actions tied to Hagrid and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.

Hagrid will explain that tasting the pumpkin pasty reminded him of Fang.

Penny will ask if anything happened to Fang.

Hagrid will say that he is simply worried about his dog.

He’ll explain that he had to quickly rush to the hospital without telling Fang that he will be all right.

You’ll figure out that Fang is alone and worried about Hagrid.

He will even consider going back home to check on his dog.

Penny and you will remind him that he cannot leave until he recovers.

Still, Hagrid will say that he is worried about his dog.

Perhaps there is something you can do about it…

You will ask Hagrid to promise that he won’t leave St. Mungo’s until you come back.

He will agree to stay in hospital until you return.

Penny will wonder what you have in mind.

You’ll say that Hagrid misses his dog, and since you want to make sure that he feels at home, you might as well bring Fang to St. Mungo’s.

Penny will like your idea.

You’ll be glad that she agrees with you.

This will mark the end of the story tasks of the chapter. Now you can complete the assignments. Proceed to the reception once you’re ready to start the first assignment.

Madam Strout will say that she has an opportunity for you.

You will ask her to tell you about it.

She’ll explain that St. Mungo’s is always looking for new Healers to join their ranks.

Because of that, you’ve been invited to explore the career.

You will look forward to learning more about becoming a Healer.

As it seems, you will get the chance to help around St. Mungo’s and gain some experience.

You will receive a list of tasks you need to finish in order to complete the assignment. These are fairly similar to the tasks you received at the Ministry of Magic, so you can feel free to complete them in any order you prefer.

While doing these tasks, it is recommended to select the duration that matches the star requirement.

Similar to most other tasks, focus on the 5-cost actions to save as much energy as possible.

Also, try your best to successfully complete all of the mini-tasks to earn bonus attribute points.

Return to the reception once you finish all of the tasks.

Madam Strout will be glad to see you.

After talking about St. Mungo’s for a bit, she will say that she is hoping you’ll consider becoming a Healer one day.

With this, your first assignment will be complete. You will earn the achievement for completing it. You can find it in the Saint Mungo’s section in the Assignments tab.

Head back to the reception once you are ready for your second assignment.

Madam Strout will tell you that St. Mungo’s need your help.

You will say that you are more than happy to help.

Apparently, their last order of herbs got mixed up, which is why they cannot brew the medications and remedies for their patients.

You’ll ask if there’s anything you can do to help.

She will tell you that they need some potions.

She’ll also suggest that you ask Professor Sprout for help.

You will happily accept the assignment.

Once again, you will need to finish several tasks to complete the assignment. Feel free to do them in any order you prefer.

Like before, it is recommended to pick the task duration that matches the star requirement.

Prioritize 5-cost actions to save some energy.

As for the mini-tasks, completing each of them will grant you some attribute points.

Hit the complete button and head back to the reception once you finish all of the tasks.

Madam Strout will say that St. Mungo’s Herbologists managed to restore their supply of healing herbs.

You’ll be glad to hear that.

It will still take them some time to brew all the potions they need, but thanks to your help, they should manage until then.

You will humbly say that you’re happy to be of assistance.

Madam Strout will thank you for everything you did to help.

With that, Chapter 19 of Year 7 will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

What will happen next? Will you be able to bring Fang to St. Mungo’s and reunite him with Hagrid? Find out in the next chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
Thank you for reading.
