We gotta say we appreciate a title like this, it’s loud and clear and you know what to expect out of the game. And it doesn’t have “of” between nouns, which is a big plus. Beyond this least ambiguous title of all time lies an RPG game based on the well known mobile SLG Clash of Kings. Heroes War will clash heroes from various mythologies in the ultimate battle.
You will play as a prince/princess, a righteous heir to the throne, on their journey to take revenge. Your loyal hero companions will help you gain support from other forces, strengthen your power, then claim your throne and kingdom. You will have to contend with betrayal, dilemmas, and challenges, but in return, you will gain friendship, family, and love. There are many stories in the land that are just waiting to be experienced.
In this game, there are many heroes to choose from, each from different mythology and legends. Among them, there are King Arthur, Lancelot, Gilgamesh, Thor, King Solomon, Jeanne D’Arc, and Harpy. You can pick your favorite heroes and form your dream team of multi pantheon proportions. Think about Thor and Hercules fighting together and how cool that would be.
Heroes War uses the classic semi-active battle system. This mixture of real time and turn based strategy stops the battle when you bring out the menu, and after you gave your orders the battle resumes. Heroes at your disposal all have different skills and using them you can make splendid combat strategies. This makes the combat always fun and exciting.
You can even summon your Heroes to the real world in the Augmented reality feature. Feel free to call out your Heroes wherever you are and to interact with them. In the plans for the future game, Heroes will even start their adventures in the real world.
There’s also a multiplayer option for Heroes War, so you can team up with your friends to level up and complete missions. You can chat and contemplate strategies with your friends during the fight too. To help you in that, there’s a stylish Bullet Screen chat, which is a vertical screen chat that will make your communication way easier.
There are few things the developers plan in the future. One is the official storytelling event, in which players make the stories, and the best of them will become included in the game. The other is the War Dragon system, which, if we made out the name correctly, has something with the winged reptiles.
Let’s hope this game won’t be another in the row of the run of the mill hero based RPGs because it has the potential to distinguish itself from the bunch. The very idea of teaming up your favorite heroes is enough to give Heroes War a try.
