When it comes to Azur Interactive Games studio, we are used to high-quality titles from them like World War Heroes: WW2 Shooter and Picket Troops: The Expendables. Infinity Ops is thus another of their hit games with over million installs.
Since Infinity Ops is a multiplayer first-person shooter that means it doesn’t lack the excitement. Sci-fi setting only adds to the atmosphere and makes everything more Halo. Which is actually kind of cool and commendable for a title intended for mobile devices.
The game is taking place in the future when the world is in chaos. Humanity has exhausted the technological advancements and now it’s in the state of interplanetary war. And that is where you start from in the Infinity Ops.
Since this is a multiplayer game, you will face PvP action in teams. This means that you can create your own clan and invite friends or other users to join you. There are classes like Saboteur and Tank, among others, you can choose based on their abilities and skills. But when it comes to weapons, the developers hardly missed making any available. Just like in any shooter, you need to select the weapon that will both cause the most damage and help you appropriately disable the enemy. From plasma rifles to laser machineguns, you will certainly enjoy picking the right weapon for your fighting style, but being a sci-fi game you will find the selection a real treat.
The gravity can also cause trouble or help you out. For example, high gravity will prevent you from running fast while low will allow you to jump really high and go over large distances. If you want to improve your moves, try jetpacks which will be a considerable help in combats.
While graphics are truly amazing, not all devices will be able to play the game. However, the developer thought about this as well and thus the game offers optimization for devices with low characteristics. Also, the controls are easy and manageable so you won’t have any problems with them as well. Although it may not be original, because of so much effort by the developer Infinity Ops is an attractive title that certainly has my vote.
With three standard multiplayer options, Infinity Ops is an impressive mobile shooter. Add to that option to create clans and character customization and you will start to wonder if this may not be a part of bigger game gamers play on consoles or PC. This is the closest you will get to playing Halo on your mobile device, and you won’t be disappointed. Well, there is a one really disappointing thing – there is no single player mode.
Nonetheless, Infinity Ops may not be original, but it has a lot to offer for those players who don’t have a strong enough personal computer to run Destiny, Halo and other sci-fi shooters. From that perspective, this is a much cheaper choice that even those with weaker smartphones can play. However, experienced players may find this game not enough of a challenge and simply leave it to the noobs. To each their own, I guess so it’s nice to have games like Infinity Ops that allow for everyone to enjoy a good skirmish.
