Arknights 2020 REVIEW AND GUIDES

Welcome to Arknights Operators Tier List. On this list, you will find all Operators available in the global release of Arknights fully described and filtered by tier, class, rarity, tags, and type. You can easily use other filters to narrow the options. It is important to mention that in Type filter where you can search Operators by the type of their damage you can also filter them by AOE and Single-Target option. All Operators who can inflict AOE damage either by a normal attack or by their skills, have AOE tag on them. Also, all Operators who can cause Arts damage by their skills have Arts Damage tag along with Physical Damage tag. This list will be updated with the introduction of any new Operator after that Operator is carefully studied by the BMG team. Enjoy!

12 F

12 F is a 2-Star AoE caster who causes Arts Damage…

12 F is a 2-Star AoE caster who causes Arts Damage. As a Starter operator, he has no skills. His main Base skill is to increase Clue Search Speed by 20% in the Reception Room, while on level 30 he can also be deployed in the Workshop where he can increase the production rate of byproduct by 70% if he processes Chips.

12 F has a very solid HP pool for a 2-Star Operator which combined with a slightly decreased Deployment cost (24) makes him a better early game option that his 3-Star counterpart Lava. His survivability is further increased when he is promoted on level 30 when he gains ridiculously high physical Dodge Rate that could be essential against ranged threats on some early missions. His damage output is not great but it is more than enough to deal against waves of Originum Slugs or similar adversaries. In my opinion, it is smarter to rely on 12 F than to invest resources in Lava because he will be sufficient enough until you find some other more powerful Arts AoE Damage dealer.

Adnachiel

Adnachiel is 3-star Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical Damage…

Adnachiel is 3-star Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical Damage. As a 3-Star Operator, he has only one skill ATK up α that increases his ATK moderately for the skill duration. His main base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading Post by 20%, while when he reaches Elite Level 1 he can also be deployed in the Workshop where he can increase the production rate of byproducts of all materials by 50%.

When fully upgraded to Elite 1 Level 55, Adnachiel has really mediocre stats. His attack is below average (up to 365) and his Health does not exceed 1100 which is not enough to last long enough without healing. His talent to focus on Range Units first with increased ASPD is effective only if he is maximized, therefore, if you chose to use him be sure to level him up immediately. It must be said Adnachiel is the worst choice of all 2-Star and 3-Star Sniper Rangers. 2-Star anti-air units are cheaper and have similar damage potential while his 3-Star counterpart Kroos is significantly more dangerous than him. Adnachiel should be used only if you don’t have enough anti-air units in some early game missions, which is unlikely.

AMBRIEL

Ambriel is 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical Damage…

Ambriel is 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical Damage while prioritizing targets with the lowest DEF. Her first skill is “Snaring Shell”. It increases her attack range by 1 tile and her attacks can slow opponents by up to 1.2 seconds for up to 36 seconds. On Elite1 she learns “Radar Sweep” that allows her that her Attack Range become global (she ca target anyone on the map) and increases her ATK by up to 100% but at the same time it slightly reduces her Attack Speed (3.6 seconds Attack Interval) and attack wind-up takes longer when attacking an enemy outside of this unit’s original range. Her main Base Skill reduces her Morale Regeneration in the Dormitory by 0.1 Morale per hour but restores 0.2 Morale per hour to all Operators assigned to that Dormitory. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she increases the Order acquisition efficiency by 30%.

Ambriel has significantly increased Attack Range (like AOE Snipers) and she has a talent that grants her up to 28% chance to stun targets for 2 seconds outside that range. Basically, whenever she activates one of her skills she will have a chance to slow the progress of enemies who are outside her range. The Stun chance is not very big considering that Ambriel’s Attack Speed is very slow and it is further decreased when using second skill but it definitely can change the tide of battle if Ambriel is lucky enough to unleash several stuns during the duration of her second skill. Her Attack Speed is the reason why her overall damage output cannot be considered as very high although her base ATK is 977 when maximized. Her first skill can significantly slow the target movement so she can be used as Slow Supporter with amazing Attack Range. However, her deployment cost is 20 DP (18 when Potential is maxed) and she does not prioritize Air Targets so other Single–Target Snipers will often have priority over her. Ambriel is ideal against targets with low DEF (such as Casters and some other mobs) and she can successfully eliminate them before they become a threat for your front-line but truth to be told there will not be a lot of maps where you will need Ambriel’s virtues. Ambriel should be developed because she certainly has an important role in some missions, but her development shouldn’t be your first priority.

Amiya

Amiya is a 5-star Single-Target Caster who causes Arts Damage…

Amiya is a 5-star Single-Target Caster who causes Arts Damage. As a 5-Star Operator, Amiya has 3 skills. Her first skill is “Tactical Chant y” which increases ASPD by up to 90. Her second skill is Spirit Burst which is unlocked on Elite 1. This ability fires up to 8 times with up to 60% ATK focusing on random targets within range but leaving Amiya stunned once the duration is over. Her third skill is Chimera which is unlocked on Elite 2. This ability increases ATK by up to 230%, Max HP by up to 100%, increases range by 1 cell in all directions, and ignores targets’ DEF and RES. Upon using this ability Amiya retreats from combat. Her main Base skill increases the order efficiency of all Trading Posts while she assigned to Control Center. When she reaches Elite 2 she can also be assigned to Dormitory where she can restore 0.15 moral per hour to all Operators in that Dormitory.

Amiya is one of the main protagonists in the Game Story meaning that you can have her for free and improve her potential much easier. As a free 5-Star Caster she is much better than you would except for the character that is available to all. Her main strength is her damage potential. She is an ideal answer to elite monsters and Bosses but she is not popular as she deserves because her skills practically remove her from combat. Spirit Burst is very powerful but leaves her stunned which would not be the problem if you could choose when to use it. Chimera is even more powerful but it is literally a kamikaze skill that should be only used in the most dangerous situations. Amiya, unlike some other casters, has no utilities what so ever but her attacking abilities make her very dangerous to anyone who opposes her. It is important to mention that all her skills are very expensive but her talents allow her to gather SP after each attack and each kill. All in all, Amiya is one of the best Single-Target Casters in the game second only to Eyjafjala.

Angelina

Angelina is a 6-Stars Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows the target…

Angelina is a 6-Stars Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows the target. She can be a Single-Target or AoE damage dealer depending on the skill she is currently using. Her first skill is Arcane Staff-Quick Charge Mode and it increases her ATK by up to 110%. Her second skill Arcane Staff-Particle Mode that is unlocked when she reaches Elite 1 and it increases her Attack Speed dramatically (3.5 attacks per second) but prevents her from using normal attacks when the skill is not activated. Her third skill Arcane Staff- Anti-Gravity Mode is unlocked on Elite 2 and it expands her range by 1 cell in all directions, increases her ATK by up to 150%, and allows her to attack 5 enemies simultaneously. Her main Base skill increases Clue Search speed in Reception Room by 10%. When she reaches Elite2 she also increases the chance of obtaining clues for Rhodes Islands (Clue 7).

Angelina’s main strengths are her talents Accelerator Field and Part-time Job. Accelerator Field increases ASPD of all allies by up to +8 while Part-time Job allows her to restore HP of all allies by up to 25 per second as long as none of her skills is activated. This practically means that Angelina can be used as a healer until her powerful skills are ready for use. Most importantly her damage output should not be considered lightly because she can replace almost any Caster in most of the situations. At the top of all that, her every attack slows the target which is essential when you need to buy time for your defending units. All in all, Angelina is an ideal addition to any squad but she especially shines in Challenges when you can’t use Healer or Caster Operators.

Ansel

Ansel is a 3-Star Medic who heals allies in range. As a 3-Star character, he has only one skill – Healing Range Up…

Ansel is a 3-Star Medic who heals allies in range. As a 3-Star character, he has only one skill – Healing Range Up. This skill increases the range of his healing by up to 2 cells in all directions and increases the potency of his healing by up to 40%. His main Base skill restores +0,55 morale per hour to another Operator assigned in Dormitory. On Elite 1 he can be also assigned to the Workshop where he increases the production rate of byproducts by 75% as long as he processes Elite Materials.

Ansel can have up to 18% chance to heal another ally which can be very useful sometimes. His main strength is his skill that emphases the range of his healing making him able to heal allies up to 5 cells away which is amazing. That allows players to assemble deadly squads in smart formations that will benefit from Ansel’s healing in the time of need. Using the skill in the adequate moment is of the utmost importance but if you use it correctly Ansel may be your main healer through the entire early and mid-game. However, Ansel cannot be promoted to Elite 2 which makes him irrelevant for the end-game. All in all, in my opinion, Ansel is far more useful than Hibiscus and he can protect you in most of the missions until you find a better healer.

Astesia

Astesia is a 5-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Arts Damage…

Astesia is a 5-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Arts Damage. Her first skill is Astral Projection. It increases her ATK by up to 50% and her DEF by up to 80% for 30 seconds. Her second skill, Astral Sword, becomes available for her at Elite 1. It increases her ATK and DEF by up to 80%, grants 1 additional Block, and allows her to attack the same number of enemies as blocked. This skill attacks any target within range and lasts 15 seconds. Astesia’s main base ability increases Clue Search Speed in Reception Room by 10%. When Astesia reaches Elite 2 she can increase Clue Search Speed by 25%.

Astesia’s talent allows her to increases ASPD by up to 5 every 20 seconds, stacking up to 5 times which can be devastating if she survives long enough. Her main purpose is to duel Elite High DEF Mobs. For that role, she is simply amazing if she is deployed at the right spot at the right time. However, she can block only 1 enemy which is not enough if you want to rely on her as a defensive front-liner. Her second skill can solve that problem but keep in mind that it lasts only 15 seconds (during which Astesia becomes a killing machine). Astesia lacks HP to be considered a tank and her damage output, although high, is not high enough as it should be. There are only 2 Guard Arts Damage Dealers in the game – Astesia and Mousse. Astesia is much better than Mousse but both of them should be used only in certain situations and that is their main weakness.

BLAZE

Blaze is a 6-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical Damage…

Blaze is a 6-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical Damage. As a 6-Stars operator, Blaze has 3 skills. “Power Strike y” increases the ATK of her next attack by up to 225%. On Elite 1 she learns “Chainsaw Extension Module” that increases her ATK by up to 70%, her DEF by up to 20%, and increases her range by 1 cell for an unlimited duration. On Elite 2 she learns “Boiling Burst”. Upon activation of this skill Blaze’s ATK and DEF gradually increase by up to 60% allowing her to slice all enemies in front of her for 10 seconds. When the skill ends, Blaze loses 25% of Health and causes up to 340% ATK as Physical damage to all surrounding enemies. Her main base skill increases the Drone Recovery in the Power Plant by 10%. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Workshop where she increases the production rate of byproducts by 80% for Building Material.

Blaze is an AOE Guard who has 2 very useful talents. “Emergency Defibrillation” restores 50% of her HP when her HP drops below 25% and then prevent HP from falling beneath 50% for 6 seconds (occurs only once per battle). “Harsh Training” reduces the duration of Stun, Cold, and Freeze by 50% after she is being deployed for 15 seconds. AOE Guards are very useful Operators who can Block up to 3 enemies when fully developed which increases their overall damage output dramatically. At the top of that Blaze is almost self-sufficient because of the talent that prevents her from dying allowing her to be placed on separated tiles without healing in the times of need or to be used as DPS Defender against the most dangerous targets. Her second skill is very powerful but its cooldown is very long and often this skill cannot be used when you need it the most. Her third skill does not provide the same ATK buff but it provides an amazing DEF buff and causes powerful damage burst against all nearby enemies after 10 seconds allowing Blaze to be successfully used against the most deadly Mobs. Blaze is definitely one of the most useful Operators in Arknights and her usefulness can be compared only with Silver Ash’s.

Beagle

Beagle is a 3-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical Damage…

Beagle is a 3-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical Damage. As a 3-Star Operator, Beagle has only one skill and it is Def Up α. This skill increases her Def by up to 50% for 30 seconds. Her main base skill increases capacity limit by 6 and productivity by 10 when she is assigned to the factory. When she reaches Elite 1 she can also be assigned to Dormitory where she can restore 0,2 morale per hour for another Operator in Dormitory and 0.4 morale per hour for herself.

Beagle has a Talent that furthermore increases her Def by up to 10 making her an impenetrable object capable of surviving anything the game can offer in the early and the mid-stages. Beagle is very cheap and easy to maximize which combined with her low deploy cost makes her very useful in almost every early game mission. Beagle can block 3 enemies and that is another thing that will make her your main Defender until you recruit better options. Her only weakness is the very long cooldown of her skill, so you should carefully choose when to activate it. All in all, Beagle is a decent 3-Star Operator who will satisfy your needs until you recruit Liskarm or Hoshiguma.

Beehunter

Beehunter is 4-Star Single Target Guard that causes physical damage…

Beehunter is 4-Star Single Target Guard that causes physical damage. Her first skill Flexibility is passive and it grants up to 60% chance to Dodge Physical attacks. Her second skill “Soaring Fists” is unlocked on Elite 1 and it significantly decreases Attack Interval time. Beehunter’s main base skill increases Guard Operators’ Specialization training speed by 30% when she is in the Training Room. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to Workshop where she can increase the production rate of by-products by 70% as long as she processes Chips.

Beehunter’s main strength is her ability to increase ATK by up to 6% with each consecutive attack stacking up to 5 times. Besides that, you only need 9 DP to deploy her so you can have a very fast heavy hitter for a very cheap price. If you choose to use her first skill she will dodge almost everything becoming self-sufficient and not reliable on healing but she will lose the damage potential available with increased ASPD she gets from the “Soaring Fists” skill.

If she is supported by Attack buffers she could be a tool of destruction in the right meaning of that word. However, her base ATK is not that great and she is almost harmless against targets with high Defense regardless of her incredible attack speed. Beehunter is an ideal operator for dealing with enemies who have low Defense, like casters, and if you use her only as a special DPS Guard on specific occasions with Operators that can boost her damage she can do miracles.

Bison

Bison is a 5-Star Single-Target Defender who causes physical damage…

Bison is a 5-Star Single-Target Defender who causes physical damage. His first skill is “DEF Up y” and it increases his DEF by up to 100%. His second skill “Intensified Defense” is unlocked on Elite 1. It prevents him from attacking but increases his DEF up to 120% and increases the DEF of all allies in adjacent 4 tiles by 30. It also taunts nearby to enemies to attack Bison. His main Base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency by 20 when he is assigned to Trading Post. On Elite 2 Order acquisition efficiency is increased by 30 and Order Limit by 1 as long as Bison is assigned to Trading Post.

Bison has a talent that increases his DEF and the DEF of the Operator who is behind him by up to 70. This practically means that Bison is an ideal companion for front-line Guards or Vanguards with high damage potential and low DEF (Astesia or Mousse for example). Besides that, Bison is unbelievably tough and his DEF potential can be only compared with Cuora. He is also the only Operator in the game who can Taunt enemies but this ability may often kill him because he is highly vulnerable to Art Damage (he has no RES what so ever) and when several casters focus on him his Health Bar shrinks in few seconds. His main weakness is because he is very expensive to develop, unlike Cuora who offers the same protective benefits at least for the much lower price. It is important to mention that Bison must be focused opposite of Operator next to him if you want them to share the DEF bonus (he must look in the opposite direction). In short, there are not many Operators who can survive physical attacks like Bison can but you will have to spend a lot to maximize him and for all those resources you will not get protection against Arts Damage.

Blue Poison

Blue Poison is a 5-Star Sniper who causes both Physical and Arts Damage…

Blue Poison is a 5-Star Sniper who causes both Physical and Arts Damage. She is basically Single-Target Sniper but with using Skills she becomes AOE Sniper. Her first skill is “Twinshot-Auto” and it grants that the next attack will hit 1 additional target for 200% of ATK Physical Damage. Her second skill “Venom Spray” is unlocked on Elite 1. It increases her ATK by up to 50% for 30 seconds striking primary target one additional time and hitting up to 2 additional targets. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproduct by 75% as long as she processes Elite Material in the Workshop. When she reaches Elite 2 the production rate of byproduct in the Workshop is increased by 80% for Elite Materials.

Blue Poison causes both Arts and Physical Damage because her talent allows her to poison enemies with each hit causing up to 85 Art damage per second for 3 seconds. This is extremely effective against high DEF targets and Bosses and makes her very versatile because she focuses on Air targets mainly but as you can see she can be used as general Damage Dealer as well. When her first skill is maximized her damage potential is unbelievable but at the same time, her second skill allows her to become AOE based becoming a viable option in the missions where you cannot use casters. Having AOE Arts Damage based Operator for 13 DP is simply amazing and makes Blue Poison one of the best Snipers in the game second only to Exusiai and Schwarz. However, she cannot successfully clear big enemy waves in the end game because her AoE damage output is simply not high enough and that is the only reason why she is isn’t a Top Tier Operator in our Tier List.

Breeze

Breeze is a 5-Star Medic who can heal multiple allied Operators…

Breeze is a 5-Star Medic who can heal multiple allied Operators. Her first skill is “Cluster Therapy” and it increases the potency of Breeze’s healing by up to 140% but decreases the number of healed allies by 1. Her second skill “Widespread therapy” is unlocked on Elite 1. It increases her healing potential by up to 250% and it switches attack mode to firing a healing round on a friendly unit within range, affecting the target and friendly units on the surrounding 8 tiles (the healing amount is halved to surrounding units). Her main Base skill increases Clue Search speed in the Reception Room by 10%. On Elite 2, her Base skill remains the same but she has a greater chance of finding Glasgow (Clue 5).

As an AOE Medic, Breeze is definitely a nice addition to any squad especially since she has the talent to increase RES to all other Medics and Supporters (E2) reducing the duration of Stun, Chill, and Freeze by 50%. At the Top of that Breeze has probably the highest Healing potential of all medics because with her second skill she can practically target the entire team if they are clustered close enough. In the matter of fact, she can even heal outside her healing range because second skill allows her to heal everyone in a 3×3 cluster with her primary target in the center which means that if she targets an ally on the edge of her range she can also heal allies who are not in range. It may seem that Ptilopsis’ SP regeneration or Perfumer’s global healing is generally better than Breeze’s RES buff but on some occasions when you need that your supporter survives an enemy Arts range attacks, this RES buff could be invaluable. Breeze may not be the most popular Medic in Arknights but she can definitely heal the most and most importantly she can be recruited via Shop Vouchers which makes her available to all.

Cardigan

Cardigan is a 3-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical Damage…

Cardigan is a 3-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical Damage. As a 3-Star Operator, she has only one skill and that is “Regeneration α”. It restores up to 40% of Max HP upon activation. Her main Base skill increases capacity limit by 6 and productivity by 10% as long as she is assigned to Factory. On Elite 1, Cardigan can be assigned to Dormitory also where she can restore 0.2 Morale per hour to another Operator in Dormitory and 0.4 Moral per hour for himself.

Cardigan is a Defender who relies on Health instead of DEF. She has a talent that increases her Max HP by up to 12%. Health-based Defenders are good against enemies that cause Arts Damage like casters but they cannot sustain physical damage nearly as DEF based Defenders. Cardigan’s Health could be furthermore increased if you maximize her Trust and Potential which is hard since she is not available in recruitment. All in all, Cardigan can be used successfully in the early game but later on, she is simply obsolete in every way. Her self-restoring is not high enough to count her as self-sufficient and her Arts damage resistance is so low that in the mid-game she will have difficulties with even Casters. In my opinion, if you need a 3-Star Defender, Beagle is a far better choice than Cardigan.

Castle 3

Castle 3 is a 1-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Physical Damage…

Castle 3 is a 1-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Physical Damage. As a 1-Star unit, this Robot has no Skills. Its main Base skill increases the Drone recovery rate in Power Plant by 10%. When it reaches level 30 it can also be assigned to a Factory where it can increase the productivity of the Battle Record formula by 30%.

Castle 3 is a very useful unit in the beginning. It doesn’t count in the Deployment limit meaning that it can be deployed even you already deployed all available Operators in the mission. This could be very effective when you need to buy a little time because Castle 3 costs only 3 DP and has a talent that increases ATK and DEF of all Melee allies by up to 20% for up to 20 seconds after deployment. Since Castel 3 has no skills and its stats are awful it is best to use it as a distract unit in suicide missions or simply to retreat it when its buff has been expired and wait to redeploy it later when the buff is needed. If you want to use Castle 3 as a legitimate Block-1 Melee Operator, you can do it only in early missions. Later on, he is harmless and his Buff is the only benefit to the squad. The good thing is that you can maximize it for almost nothing and that you can always have an operator that doesn’t count towards Deployment Limit who can significantly improve the stats of your frontline Operators.

Catapult

Catapult is a 3-Star AOE Sniper who causes Physical Damage…

Catapult is a 3-Star AOE Sniper who causes Physical Damage. As a 3-Star Operator Catapult has only 1 Skill, “Blast Range Up α”. It increases the AOE of normal Attacks by up to 200%. His Main Base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in Trading Post by 30% and reduces Moral consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1, he can also be assigned to the Workshop where he can increase the production rate of byproduct by 80% while processing Elite Material.

AoE Operators are usually very expensive so Catapult’s talent that decreases the Deployment Price by 1 can be very useful in some missions with Deployment restrictions. However, Cataplut’s 2-Star rarity prevents him from gaining Elite 2 and limits his stats to the point that he can only be used in early to mid-game. His skill increases his effective AOE range which is invaluable in Annihilation: Lungmen Outskirts where only Meteorite and Catapult can successfully eliminate the waves of mobs who are scattered and can only be efficiently eliminated by those two AoE damage dealers. All in all, Catapult is a cheaper and weaker version of Shirayuki who has an advantage over him in every segment except in the range of AoE.

Ceylon

Ceylon is a 5-Star Medic that heals Single Target allies in a wider range than other Single Target Medics…

Ceylon is a 5-Star Medic that heals Single Target allies in a wider range than other Single Target Medics. Her first skill is “Concentrated Hydrotherapy”. It increases healing amount to up to 200% of ATK which cannot be reduced by Trait effects. On Elite 1 she gains “Water Blessing”. This skill increases her ATK by up to 60%, allows her to heal the additional target, and increases the status resistance (Stun, Snare, and Freeze are reduced by 50%) of all allies in her wide range. Her main Base ability increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 80% as long as she processes Elite Materials. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to Factory where she increases the productivity of Originium Formula by 35%.

Ceylon is currently the only Wide Range Medic in the game. Wide Range Medic’s healing reduces to 70% of the base ATK on targets who are further away from the original Medic’s range. This could be a problem in later stages if you rely on Ceylon healing only. Ceylon also has significantly lower base ATK compared to other ST Medics but that should be countered with her talent that permanently increases her attack by up to 6% on normal terrain and up to 24% if water terrain is on the battlefield. The problem is that water terrain can only be found in Summer events and with 6% ATK increase Ceylon’s ATK is still lower than the attack of other Medics. Her second ability is indeed extremely powerful but its SP cost is ridiculous and it allows you to use the skill once per battle. However, since her second skill increases the Resistance of Operators, Ceylon can be very useful in missions where Mobs harass you with Stun or Freeze (Annihilation 3 for example). Deployment price is another problem if you chose to maximize Ceylon (Wide Range Medics are much more expensive than ST Medics) because in some missions you will not be able to deploy her fast enough. In my opinion, Ceylon should not be prioritized as a healer over Operators like Warfarin, Silence, Perfumer, or Breeze because she is too expensive for the benefits she provides.

Ch’en

Ch’en is a 6-Star Single Target Guard Operator who attacks twice causing physical damage…

Ch’en is a 6-Star Single Target Guard Operator who attacks twice causing physical damage. As a 6-Star Operator, Ch’en has 3 skills. Her first skill is “Sheathed Strike” and it throws sheath to enemies causing up to 320% of ATK physical damage and stunning them for up to 1.5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Chi Xiao –Unsheath” It causes up to 500% of ATK Physical Damage and up to 500% OF ATK Arts Damage to at most 7 enemies in front of Ch’en. On Elite 2 she learns “Chi Xiao –Shadowless” – Ch’en looks for the closest enemy and launches strike up to 10 times in a row causing up to 320% of ATK Physical Damage and Stunning the target for up to 4 seconds by the last strike. Her main Base skill decreases the Morale consumed per hour of all Operators in the Control Center by 0.05 for each L.G.D. Operator assigned to Control Center. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Reception Room where she can increase Clue Search Speed by 25%.

Ch’en has 2 Talents – “Scolding” restores 1 Skill Point for every 4 seconds to all deployed allies that have ATK Recovery or DEF Recovery skill, while “Blade Art” increases her ATK and DEF permanently by up to 6% and her Physical Dodge Rate by up to 13%. Her talents allow her to have great synergy with all Operators with skills [On Attack] or [When hit] but it doesn’t restore her own SP which can be frustrating because her skills is simply awesome. IF you want to get a deadly AOE Damage Dealer with both Arts and Physical Damage you need only to activate “Chi Xiao –Unsheath” and if you want to kill an Elite Mob or Boss quickly you will use “Chi Xiao –Shadowless”. At the top of that Ch’en has a trait to allows her that her basic attack executes 2 attacks instead but keep in mind that her SP will still be filled as you performed only 1 attack. Her second talent increases her Dodge Rate significantly and she can block 2 enemies which allows her to be a valid Front-Line Defender who can harm and control any incoming threat in various ways. Regardless of her expensive Deployment price and somewhat slower SP recharge, Ch’en is definitely a Top Tier Operator who will benefit any squad at any time.

Cliffheart

Cliffheart is a 5-Star Single-Target Specialist who can cause both Physical and Arts Damage and who can pull enemies towards her…

Cliffheart is a 5-Star Single-Target Specialist who can cause both Physical and Arts Damage and who can pull enemies towards her. Her first skill is “Chain Hook”. It drags the target slightly to Cliffheart causing up to 180% of ATK Arts damage to it. On Elite 1 she learns “Binding Chains”. This skill drags up to 2 targets at most in a frontal line slightly towards Cliffheart causing up to 200% of ATK damage that ignores target’s DEF and RES and Stunning them for up to 3 seconds. Her main Base skill restores 0.25 Morale per hour to all Operators assigned to Dormitory and restore Clifheart’s morale by 0.5 per hour. When she reaches Elite 2 she can also be assigned to a Trading Post where she can increase order acquisition efficiency by 15% and order limit by 2.

Cliffheart is a very strong Specialist whose ATK and DEF are increased by up to 14% as long as she doesn’t block any enemy. Her main purpose is to drag dangerous enemies towards her but the problem is that Pullers (like her) are not needed often as Pushers (Shaw). She can be fully effective only in missions with pits and there are not many of those. Nevertheless, Cliffheart can do other roles as well since she can both Stun and cause decent damage which is always helpful. Since she can be deployed on Ranged Grids and her Deployment cost is minimal you can always use her as an additional damage dealer who does both Physical and Arts damage. It is important to mention that “Binding Chains” ability is extremely powerful when fully maximized and that it can help you a lot in certain Annihilation Missions. The real downside of Cliffheart is that Rope can do everything she can do but for lower investment costs and lower Deployment price but since Cliffheart is obtainable for free there is a high chance that you will decide to invest in her before you recruit Rope

Courier

Courier is a 4-Star Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical Damage and can block up to 2 enemies…

Courier is a 4-Star Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical Damage and can block up to 2 enemies. His first skill is “Charge β” and it instantly grants up to 9 Deployment Points. On Elite 1 he learns “Command-Defense” that immediately grants 3 Deployment Points and gradually adds 8 Deployment Points during the skill duration. It also increases his DEF by up to 80%. His man Base skill increases order acquisition efficiency by 15% and the Order Limit by 1 as long as he is assigned to a Trading Post. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to a Reception Room where he increases Clue Search Speed by 10% making Karlan Commercial (Clue 6) easer to obtain.

Courier’s main strength is his ability to replace defender for a low price. He can block 2 enemies and with “Command-Defense” and his talent that can increase DEF by up to 19%, his DEF can be so high that he can survive the deadliest threats during the early and mid-game. He is also easily farmed through the Credit Store which makes him an obvious choice for a starting Vanguard. Unfortunately, he is not so good in the late game and if you chose to spend resources on Elite 2 for 4-Star Vanguard, Myrtle should be your priority. That is mainly because of his low ATK that often needs the support of other allies to eliminate enemies fast enough. Courier may seem an ideal pick at the start but if you want to save resources in the long term you should prioritize Myrtle and even Vigna, although you cannot improve their Potential fast as Courier’s.

Croissant

Croissant is a 5-Star Single-Target Defender who causes physical damage…

Croissant is a 5-Star Single-Target Defender who causes physical damage. Her first Skill is “Auto Defense”. It increases DEF by up to 70% and increases the effect of Croissant’s talent (has up to 23% chance to resist Physical and Arts damage, same as allies in the 4 surrounding tiles who obtain half of the effect) by up to 200%. On Elite 1 she learns “Magnetic Hammer”. This skill allows her to push incoming enemies from all directions greatly away, stunning them for up to 4 seconds and causing up to 48o% of ATK Physical Damage to them. Main Base skill increases order acquisition efficiency by 20% as long as she is assigned to a Trading Post. On Elite 1 Croissant increases order acquisition efficiency by 30% and Order Limit by 1.

Croissant is a sturdy Defender who has a decent chance to ignore any incoming attack and share half of that chance with surrounding allies. She can also push up enemies which can be extremely useful if you don’t have Specialist Operators for that role but be careful not to push enemies where you don’t want them because Croissant pushes in all four directions. If you decide to rely on her first skill and to use her only as Defender, you will find out that she uses the skill automatically which can be frustrating if she uses it when it is not needed, but at the same time she will be almost immortal during the skill duration. Croissant is a very good Defender but truth to be told everything she can do you can get it for the lower price if you pick Cuora.

Cuora

Cuora is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical Damage…

Cuora is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical Damage. Her first skill is “DEF Up β” and it increases her DEF by up to 80%. On Elite 1 she learns “Shell Defense”. It increases her Block by 1, Def by up to 130%, and restores up to 3% of her Max HP per second. However, Cuora cannot attack during the duration of the skill. Her main Base skill increases productivity by 10% and capacity limit by 1 while she is assigned to the Factory. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to a Trading Post where she can increase order acquisition efficiency by 20%.

Believe it or not, Cuora is Defender with the highest DEF potential in the entire game. She has a talent that permanently increases her DEF by up to 12% and with “Shell Defense” she can increase it further for amazing 130% while having self-restoration and Block number increase during the skill duration. Cuora is literally impenetrable. All this comes at the cost of her attacking potential which is basically non-existing. Also, Cuora is vulnerable to Arts damage so you shouldn’t feel safe with her in missions with a lot of casters or Arts-based Bosses. Nevertheless, Cuora is Top Tier Defender considering the price of her improvement and the Defense she provides. There are not many 4-Star Operators who are better than their 5-Star counter-parts like Cuora definitely is.

Deepcolor

Deepcolor is 4-Star Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and summons Tentacles to help in combat…

Deepcolor is 4-Star Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and summons Tentacles to help in combat. Her first skill is “Shadow Tentacle” and it increases ATK and DEF of all Tentacles by up to 60% and restores their HP by up to 70 per second. On Elite 1 she learns “Visual Trap” This skill expands her range by 1 cell in all directions and allies with range gains up to 50% Physical Dodge. Her main Base skill increases order acquisition efficiency by 20% as long as she is assigned to a Trading Post. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Workshop to process Any Material with the increased production rate of byproducts by 60%.

Deepcolor is a Summoner who can help the squad in various waves. Her damage is Arts which can be very helpful against High Def enemies and her summons are cheap and tough but they take a Deployment place for other Operators. Her ability to grant an insane Dodge rate to all allies for a significant amount of time is amazing and stacks with other Dodge buffs. However, she has 2 downsides – she is very squishy and her summons cannot retreat like the summons of Mayer or Magellan. Also, her damage output is very low but that doesn’t matter because she is meant to be defensive support who will buy time for your other operators. It is highly unlikely that you will choose Deepcolor over Magellan or even Mayer but keep in mind that for a low price she can help you in some missions like Rare Material Escort CE-4 when you are not strong enough and can’t find a way with dealing with overwhelming forces.

Dobermann

Dobermann is a 4-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage…

Dobermann is a 4-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage. Her first skill is “Power Strike β” and it increases the ATK of the next attack to up to 230%. On Elite 1 she learns “Spur”. This skill increases her ATK by up to 80% and makes her talent (All 3-Star operators ATK is increased by up to 11%) 3 times more effective. Her main base skill decreases the Moral consumed per hour of all Operators in the Control Center by 0.05. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Training Room where she can increase Operator’s Specialization Training Speed by 25%.

Doberman’s talent applies only to 3-Star Operators which is the main problem with her. It is highly unlikely that you will rely on 3-Star Operators except in the early-game so basically, her supporting ability will not exist if you try to combine her with a decent Squad. She alone has mediocre stats that can’t help you much in the long term and her only strength is low Deployment Price. Dobermann is arguably the worst 4-Star Operator in the game.

Dur-nar

Dur-nar is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Arts Damage…

Dur-nar is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Arts Damage. Her first skill is “ATK Up β” which increases her ATK by up to 80%. On Elite 1 she learns “Shielded Counterattack”. This skill also increases her ATK by up to 80% but at the same time allows her to attack multiple targets within a range equal to the number of blocked targets. Her main Base skill increases Defender Operators’ Specialization training speed by 30% as long as she is assigned to the Training Room. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Control Center where she decreases the morale consumed per hour to all Operators in the Control Center.

Dur-nar is Defender with amazing damage potential and ability to cause Arts Damage while her Skills are active. ATK of Dur-nar is significantly greater than any other Defender but this comes at the cost of her DEF which is significantly lower. It is important to mention that Dur-nar has increased RES and that can be very important if you need Operator to guard you against multiple Arts damage dealers (Majority of Defenders are highly vulnerable to Arts damage). Another good thing is that Dur-nar can be easily farmed in Credits Shop if you choose to rely on her and to improve her potential. However, Dur-nar’s Deployment Price is higher compared to normal Defenders and her Attack Speed is very slow making her damage potential significantly lower than you would like. Having a sturdy Arts damage dealer with increased RES who can block 3 enemies is definitely a good thing but it is questionable does Dur-nar’s improvement costs measures her true potential.

Durin

Durin is a 2-Star Single–Target Caster who causes Arts Damage…

Durin is a 2-Star Single–Target Caster who causes Arts Damage. As a Starter Operator, she has no skills. Her main Base skill restores 0.2 Morale per hour to all Operators in the Dormitory but increases her Morale recovered per Hour by 0.1. On level 30 she can restore 0.25 Morale per hour to all Operators in the Dormitory instead.

Durin has a talent that grants her 50% Arts Dodge which combined with her base RES can be sufficient enough to count on her as an Operator who can deal with Casters in early missions. However, it is highly unlikely that anyone will choose her before Amiya who is free 5 Star Caster in everyone roster, meaning that Durin will only be used as someone who will speed-up Operators recovery in the Dormitory until the better option for that role is recruited.

Earthspirit

Earthspirit is a 4-Star Single-target Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows enemies…

Earthspirit is a 4-Star Single-target Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows enemies. Her first skill is “ATK Up β” and it increases her ATK by up to 80%. On Elite 1 she learns “Quicksand Conversion” that prevents her from attacking and slows all enemies within range every 1.4 seconds (when fully upgraded). Her main Base skill increases HR contacting by 30% as long as she is assigned to the HR Office. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to Factory where she can increase the Originum formula related productivity by 35%.

Earthspirit main strength is her ability to slow targets with each attack. Other than that she is nothing special. Her second skill slows all enemies within her ranger for a considerable amount of time but at the same time, she is unable to perform attack meaning that by activating this ability you will lose much needed Arts DPS. The other problem is her low base ATK that stays low even when she activates “ATK Up β”. She is also very squishy so if you leave her undefended against enemy range units she will die in a matter of seconds. Earthspirit is better than Orchid, that is true, but she should be used only if you must assemble Squad with an Operator who can slow and you don’t have Angelina, Glaucus, or Istina.

Estelle

Estelle is a 4-Star AOE Guard who causes Physical damage and attacks all enemies she is blocking…

Estelle is a 4-Star AOE Guard who causes Physical damage and attacks all enemies she is blocking. Her first skill is “ATK Up β” and it increases her ATK by up to 80. On Elite 1 she learns “Sacrificial Strike” that increases her ATK by up to 150% but prevents any healing received by other allies. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 60% for all materials. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she can increase her own Morale recovery per hour by 0.7.

Estelle has a trait that restores her HP by up to 14% whenever an enemy dies within the 8 surrounding grids. This ability and ability to attack simultaneously all targets that are blocked by her (Estelle can block 3 targets), makes her ideal for dealing with large groups of weak enemies. However, later on, she will struggle because her second skill prevents healing from other sources (Perfumer’s and Angeline’s passive healing works nevertheless) and her DEF and HP are ridiculously small for a 4-Star Guard. Having an AOE Guard in Squad is always a good thing so if you don’t have one keep in mind that Estelle could be obtained through Recruitment by choosing AOE tag and Guard Tag.

Ethan

Ethan is a 4-Star Single-Target Specialist who causes both Physical and Arts damage and can Freeze enemies…

Ethan is a 4-Star Single-Target Specialist who causes both Physical and Arts damage and can Freeze enemies. His first skill is “Fancy Maneuvers”. This skill is passive and it allows him to cause up to 100 extra Arts damage for 4 seconds with each normal attack. On elite 1 he learns “Suspended Cross” that increases his ATK by up to 70% increasing the chance to trigger his Talent (When attacking, has a 25% chance to bind the target for up to 3 seconds by Freezing them) by up to 3 times. His main Base skill increases HR contacting Speed by 40% as long as he is assigned to the HR office. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to the Dormitory where he can increase his Morale recovered per hour by 0.75.

Ethan is a damage-dealing Specialist who can attack all enemies within range (1 cell in all directions and 2 cells in front of him), who doesn’t provoke enemy Aggro and who has 50% Arts and Physical Dodge. He cannot block so you shouldn’t be afraid of melee enemies but he could be in danger from ranged enemies if he is not well protected since he is very squishy and will die after 2-3 hits. His main strength is his chance to Freeze all enemies within range. 25% chance is not big enough to be considered as a major threat for enemies because his Attack Speed is a very slow but second skill can increase this chance to up to 75% and at that moment Ethan will successfully control all danger in his vicinity. It is true that “Suspended Cross” is a better skill but with “Fancy Maneuvers” he also inflicts Arts damage so carefully decide what skill to use depending on the mission. Ethan is a weaker version of Manticore but he can be obtained via Vouchers Shop for a decent price which makes him available for all players. If you can’t wait to recruit Manticore and you want to have an Operator who can buy you a huge amount of time with his crowd-control potential, Ethan is an obvious option.

Executor

Executor is a 5-Star AOE Sniper who causes Physical Damage and has decreased Attack Range…

Executor is a 5-Star AOE Sniper who causes Physical Damage and has decreased Attack Range. His first skill is “Muzzle’s Elegy” and it increases his ATK by up to 70% applying Executor’s Trait effect (Attacks ignore up to 175 DEF) to all enemies within range. On Elite 1 he learns “Final Journey” that allows him to attack twice with normal attacks and increases his Attack Speed significantly. His main Base skill increases Sniper Operators’ Specialization training speed by 30% as long as he is assigned to the Training Room. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to the Control Center where he decreases the Morale consumed per hour of all Operators in the Control Center by 0.05.

Executor is an AOE Sniper with decreased Attack range who unlike other AOE Sniper, deals AOE damage to all enemies within the range regardless of their position (other AOE Snipers deal splash damage). His damage potential is second to none especially because he deals 150% damage to enemies in front of him and can increase Attack Speed enormously with “Final Journey”. He also has an amazing defensive potential since his DEF and RES are significantly higher compared to other Snipers. On the other hand, his Deployment cost is one of the highest in the game (same as Caster AOE Operators) and his short Range demands a spot on the map where he will be able to effectively attack most of the enemies meaning that you will not be able to use him in half of the missions. Nevertheless, I doubt that there is a person who doesn’t want to see an operator with shotguns who causes 2K+ damage with a strike, and Executor is capable of doing exactly that.

Exusiai

Exusiai is a 6-Star Single-target Sniper who causes Physical damage…

Exusiai is a 6-Star Single-target Sniper who causes Physical damage. As a 6-Star Operator, Exusiai has 3 skills. The first skill is “Charging Mode” (auto-trigger) and it shoots 3 times in a row in the next attack, dealing up to 145% of ATK with every shot. On Elite 1 he learns “Shooting Mode” (manual trigger) that shoots 4 times in a row, dealing up to 125% of ATK with every shot. On Elite 2 he learns “Overloading Mode” (auto-trigger) that shoots 5 times in a row dealing up to 110% of ATK with every shot and slightly increasing his Attack Speed. His main Base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading post by 20%. On Elite 1 he increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading post by 35% instead.

Exusiai has 2 talents. The first talent increases his Attack Speed by up to 15 and Second Talent increases his ATK by 8%, Max HP by 13% and at the same time, this buff is given to another operator when Exusai is deployed. When we measure his damage potential, Deployment Cost and sustenance, Exusiai is definitely the best Anti-Air Sniper in the game who can shred High DEF ground targets a well if he is properly buffed. His skills are basically similar, with increased damage potential and Attack Speed as Elite Level goes on, but I personally use only “Shooting Mode” because only it has a manual trigger that prevents the skill of being used when there are no enemies. If you assembled a quality squad that offers you all needed buffs, Exusiai can be your permanent solution for the DPS spot in the end-game. Recruiting him will be a difficult task but once you get him you will finish your search for the best Physical DPS in your squad.

Eyjafjalla

Eyjafjalla is a 6-Stars Single-Target Caster who causes Arts damage…

Eyjafjalla is a 6-Stars Single-Target Caster who causes Arts damage. As a 6-Star Operator, Eyjafjalla has 3 skills. The first skill is “Dueto” and it increases ASPD by up to 60 and ATK by up to 60 after using the skill for the second time. On Elite 1 she learns “Ignition”. It deals up to 370% of ATK Arts damage in the next attacks causing half of the damage to enemies around the target and reducing their RES by up to 25% for up to 6 seconds. On Elite 2 she learns “Volcano”. It increases her ATK by up to 130%, increases her range by 3 cells in all directions, increases her Attack Speed significantly, and allows that her attacks become randomly shooting lava that can hit up to 6 enemies within range at most. Her main Base skill increases Originum formula related productivity in Factory by 35%. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the HR Office where she can increase HR contacting speed by 45%.

Eyjafjalla increases ATK of all casters on the battlefield by up to 16% and when she is deployed she immediately gains a random number of Skill Points. With “Ignition” and “Volcano” Eyjafjalla becomes an AoE caster available at the price of Single-target caster. “Volcano” is so strong that it can literally devastate anything but the toughest Elite Mobs or Bosses within the range. The problem with this skill is because it lasts too short, costs too much, and has a long cooldown, so if Eyjafjalla is your main Damage Dealer at the moment you could stay without DPS if the skill is used at the wrong time. “Ignition” on the other hand provides steady AOE damage during the entire battle so you should carefully choose which skill to use depending on the mission. Eyjafjala needs Elite 2 (she gains 16 SP after deployment) to be fully effective but she will justify all invested resources for sure. Her damage potential is amazing and her defensive capabilities are more than decent. At the top of that, every other deployed caster will have significantly higher ATK if Eyjafjalla is on the battlefield. Eyjafjalla is a Top Tier Character without doubt, but you will need a lot of luck to recruit her.

FEater

FEater is a 5-Stars AOE Specialist who causes Physical damage and pushes targets…

FEater is a 5-Stars AOE Specialist who causes Physical damage and pushes targets. Her first skill is “Raging Iron Fist”. It grants that the next attack will push enemies significantly forward in the attack direction reducing their Movement Speed by up to 30% for up to 5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Destructive Fist” that allows FEater to rush forward immediately targeting the closes enemy in line and knocking all nearby enemies causing up to 250% of ATK damage and reducing the target’s speed by up to 30% for up to 5 seconds. Her main Base skill increases the Battle Record formula related productivity in the Factory by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases the Battle Record formula related productivity in the Factory by 35% instead.

FEater can have up to 43% Physical Dodge and she is one of 2 Pushers in the game (besides Shaw). Her Trait allows her to attack multiple enemies equal to her Block amount who are within her attack range. Depending on the situation she can be placed either on ranged Grids or on the melee Grids. Her skills allow her to push even larger enemies which can be essential in some missions. On top of that, her base stats are very good – she is capable of delivering formidable damage and withstanding the most dangerous attacks. However, her usefulness shrinks on maps without holes or hazardous edges. Since she can slow down enemies within reach she works very well with supporters who can also slow targets (Angelina is the best of those). Keep in mind that only with “Destructive Fist” Feather can push the largest targets and keep in mind that if you decide to use that skill you will not be able to use Push quite as often as if you decided to use “Raging Iron Fist”. All in all, FEater is a stronger version of Shaw and unlike Shaw, she can be used in synergy with supporters on maps without holes.

Fang

Fang is a 3-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block up to 2 enemies…

Fang is a 3-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block up to 2 enemies. She has only one skill and that is “Charge α” that instantly grants 6 Deployment Points to the Squad. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 20% in the first hour and after that by 1% per hour up to 25%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she can increase Order acquisition efficiency by 30%.

Fang has a talent that decreases her own Deployment cost by 1 which combined with Potential Deployment Decrease can make that his Deployment Cost become only 7 Points. Fang is an ideal early game Vanguard who can act as Defender in early stages because of her increased based DEF. Her main problem is her ATK that is too low to cause any serious damage even in early missions. Since 4-Stars Courier, who can do everything as Fang but in a much better way, can be obtained for free via the Credit Shop, it might be smart to avoid investing in Fang at all.

Firewatch

Firewatch is a 5-Stars Single-target Sniper with increased range who causes Physical Damage prioritizing enemies with the lowest DEF…

Firewatch is a 5-Stars Single-target Sniper with increased range who causes Physical Damage prioritizing enemies with the lowest DEF. Her First skill is “Camouflage” which increases her ATK by up to 70% and turns her into an Invisible state (cannot be targeted by ranged enemies). On Elite 1 she learns “Tactical Transceiver” that allows her to drop up to 3 Bombs within a range that causes up to 300% of ATK Physical Damage to all nearby enemies. Her main Base skill increases the Clue Search Speed in Reception Room by 10%. On Elite 2 Firewatch increases the Clue Search Speed in Reception Room by 20% instead.

Firewatch has a talent that increases her ATK against ranged targets by up to 145% which combined with Camouflage allows her to be placed in a distant spot all alone without fear of Range units and ready to eliminate them quickly. She is quite capable to do that and a lot more because her base ATK is one of the highest in the entire game. With an increased range and ability to focus on enemies with the lowest DEF, Firewatch becomes a tool of destruction in the true meaning of that word. However, prioritizing low DEF targets will often pick some ground enemies instead of Air units and that could be a problem if you rely on Firewatch as only Anti Air unit in your Squad.

Firewatch’s second skill has a totally different purpose than her first skill and it should be used as the quick solution for larger High DEF groups or Bosses. Unlike other Single-Target Snipers, Firewatch’s Deployment Cost is quite expensive (like Casters) and her Attack Speed is not as fast as theirs. Nevertheless, Firewatch has a great attacking potential for a 5-Stars Operator and I do not doubt that anyone who recruits her will maximize her immediately.

Flamebringer

Flamebringer is a 5-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage and can block only 1 target…

Flamebringer is a 5-Star Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage and can block only 1 target. His first skill is “Blood Pact”. It increases the power of the next attack by up to 220% and restores 8% of his Max HP. On Elite 1 he learns “Blade Demon” that permanently increases his ATK by up to 70% and his ASPD by up to 45. His main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 70% as long as he processes Skill Summaries. On Elite 2 he increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 80% instead, as long as he processes Skill Summaries.

Flamebringer has a talent that increases his Max HP by up to 50 after killing an enemy, stacking up to 30 times. This talent could make him a beast in missions where he can accumulate enough kills (Annihilation missions) who is capable to duel any Mob on the opposite side. His base ATK is very good meaning that his damage potential is amazing in synergy with his second skill. However, his DEF is ridiculously low and he will need self-sustain from skill 1 more often than ATK increase from the second skill. Flamebringer must deliver as much killing blows as possible to become viable in later stages but in some missions, it is simply impossible for him to do that. Flamebringer could indeed be of great help in Annihilation missions but it is questionable whether to invest in him or to wait for some other much better option like Skadi or even Franka.

Franka

Franka is a 5-Star Single-Target Guard who causes Physical Damage and can block only 1 target…

Franka is a 5-Star Single-Target Guard who causes Physical Damage and can block only 1 target. Her first skill is “Swift Strike y” and it increases Franka’s ATK and ASPD by up to 45%. On Elite 1 she learns “Vorpal Edge”. This skill reduces Franka’s DEF to 0 but increases her ATK by up to 100% and her chance to trigger the talent (Franka has up to 20% chance to ignore the Target’s Defense when attacking) is increased by up to 2.5 times. Her main Base skill increases Guard Operators’ Specialization Training Speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases Guard Operators’ Specialization Training Speed in the Training Room by 50% instead.

Franka is the Guard who has a decent chance (up to 20%) to ignore the enemy’s armor with each attack which can be ideal for eliminating High DEF targets (DEF 2K+) when you cannot use Arts Damage Dealers. Her first skill is consistent and significantly increases her damage output but her second skill is what makes Franka special because when it is activated Franka literally shred through enemy defenses effortlessly. However, while the second skill is activated Franka becomes highly vulnerable and even the best Medics will have difficulties keeping her alive against hard-hitting opponents. It is true that Franka is one of the solutions for Elite mobs and Bosses but honestly, having powerful Caster or some other Arts Damage Dealer like Astesia is often a safer choice.

Frostleaf

Frostleaf is a 4-Star Single-Target Guard with an increased range…

Frostleaf is a 4-Star Single-Target Guard with an increased range. Her first skill is “Frost Tomahawk” and it causes that the next attack is executed with up to 150% of ATK increased Physical Damage reducing the Movement Speed of targets by up to 50% for up to 3 seconds in the process. On Elite 1 she learns “Ice Tomahawk” that increases ASPD by up to 50 and grants that every attack reduces the Movement Speed of the enemy by up to 50% with a 40% chance to Freeze it for up to 2 seconds. Her main Base skill increases her own Morale recovering speed in the Dormitory by 0.7 per hour. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she can increase Battle formula related productivity by 30%.

Frostleaf is a guard with increased range who can slow her opponents with her skills. Her defensive attributes are decent and she can block up to 2 enemies becoming a viable option for the front-lines. Unlike Slowing Supporters, Frostleaf can be deployed on melee grids which allows her to slow all enemies that are coming towards her, but unfortunately, she can slow them only when she activates skills. Her second skill can even Freeze targets but the chance of Freezing is below 50% and that is not enough to rely on it. On Elite 2, Frostleaf learns a Talent that increases her range even further at the cost of her ASPD, so if you want to use her it is of utmost importance to maximize her as soon as possible. However, be warned, Frostleaf’s damage potential is mediocre and it is lower than the damage of her 3-Star counterpart, Midnight.

Gavial

Gavial is a 4-Stars Single-Target Medic who heals her allies…

Gavial is a 4-Stars Single-Target Medic who heals her allies. Her first skill is “Vitality Restoration”. It buffs the target ally in the next healing, restoring HP by up to 35% of Gavial’s ATK (by up to 70% of Gavial’s ATK when the target’s HP is below 50%) per second, lasting up to 5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “ Vitality Restoration – Wide Range” that buffs all allies within range immediately, restoring HP by up to 30% of Gavial’s ATK (by up to 80% of Gavial’s ATK when the target’s HP is below 50%) per second, lasting up to 10 seconds. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 75 % for all materials. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Training Room where she can increase Medic Operators’ Specialization training speed by 30%.

Gavial has a Talent that Buffs ATK by up to 12% and DEF by up to 120 after Gavial is deployed for all [Medic] Operators on the battlefield. This can be extremely useful in missions where you need more than 1 [Medic] so be careful and avoid deploying Gavial first. Keep in mind that Medics with Gavial’s buff can endure the most dangerous Ranged Mobs and Casters through the entire early and mid-game. Her second skill is basically AOE healing but honestly, it is almost ineffective on allies whose HP is above 50% and it has a very long cooldown. Her first skill is almost the same as her second skill but only affects one ally so it is of utmost importance to bring Gavial on Elite 1 immediately. Gavial is much better than Ansel or Hibiscus and she can be farmed via Credit Store which indicates that the majority of players will rely on her healing until 5-Stars or 6-Stars Medics are recruited.

Gitano

Gitano is a 4-Stars AOE Caster who causes Arts Damage…

Gitano is a 4-Stars AOE Caster who causes Arts Damage. Her first skill is “Tactical Chant β” and it increases her ASPD by up to 75%” On Elite 1 she learns “Destiny” that increases her range by 1 cell, increases her ATK by up to 100% and attacks all targets simultaneously (Gitano stops attacking 10 seconds after using the skill). Her main Base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading Post by 25% and the order limit by 1. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Reception Room where she can increase the Clue Search Speed by 25%.

Gitano has a very useful Talent that permanently grants her one of the following effects when deployed: ATK increased by up to 15%, ASPD increased by up to 15 or Max HP increased by up to 22%. As an AOE caster, Gitano’s Deployment cost is very high but all her attacks are Arts Damage splash attacks that target multiple enemies. Her first skill significantly increases her Attack Speed and therefore her damage output but her second skill is her trademark because it allows her to immediately attacks all enemies within her increased range (4×3 cells in her direction) with doubled ATK. “Destiny” literally devastates everything in Gitano’s path allowing her to be a permanent solution for large groups of Elite Mobs or Bosses. However, you must be careful with this skill because it leaves Gitano stunned for 10 seconds which can be very dangerous if the skill is used at the wrong time. Although she is a 4-Stars Operator, Gitano is one of the best AoE Casters and only Mostima is more useful than her. Having Gitano maximized will solve many of your problems for a long time.

Glaucus

Glaucus is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts Damage and slows target with each hit…

Glaucus is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts Damage and slows target with each hit. Her first skill is “Binary Reload”. It increases her ATK by up to 50% and grants that each attack hits an extra target. On Elite 1 she learns “Counter EMP”. This skill allows Giaucus to release a shockwave in an area around her causing Arts damage equal to up to 400% of ATK to all enemies within range (3 cells in all directions) and Restraining them (cannot move) for up to 6 seconds. If the target is Drone, it will receive double damage (doesn’t stack with Giaucus’ talent to cause increased damage against Drones) and be Stunned for 6 seconds. Her main Base skill increases the Drone Recovery Rate in the Power Plant by 10%. On Elite 2 she increases the Drone Recovery Rate in the Power Plant by 15% instead.

Glaucus has a Talent that allows her to focus on Drones first increasing her ATK by up to 55% while attacking Drones (both Air and Ground). This practically makes her a Sniper with amazing damage potential when fighting against the High DEF Drones who can slow enemies at the same time. Her first skill increases her damage significantly but also allows her to attack another target simultaneously making her a partial AOE damage dealer. Her second skill is even more powerful and practically destroys all enemies within range incapacitating all who survived the initial attack for a significant amount of time. If the second skill is used against Drones its effects are doubled and surviving enemies are Stunned instead. However, Glaucus has a slower ASPD and lower ATK compared to Anti-Air Snipers of the same rarity and she is somewhat more expensive for Deployment. Her base damage is minimal against normal targets and Drones with high RES, so she can be only used as another Anti-Air Operator for certain missions or as a much weaker replacement for Angelina until you recruit her.

Grani

Grani is a 5-Star Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical Damage…

Grani is a 5-Star Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical Damage. Her first skill is “DEF Up y” and it increases her DEF up to 100%. On Elite 1 she learns “Press the Attack” that shortens her attack range (only 1 cell), increases her ATK and DEF by up to 80%, increases her Block by 1 and allows her to attack multiple targets equal to the block number hitting all enemies within the range. Her main Base skill increases Vanguard Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases Vanguard Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 50% instead.

Grani has a Talent that allows her to grant up to 25% Physical Dodge to all Vanguard Operators upon deployment so it is best to deploy her last if you need to deploy more than 1 Vanguard on the battlefield. She grants 1 DP upon eliminating an enemy and if you retreat her all DP Points will be refunded. As a Vanguard with increased Defensive capabilities, Grani does not synergize well with her trait for DP recovery therefore she should be primarily used as a semi Defender on the front lines using the first skill. Her second skill increases her ATK significantly and can be used almost immediately so if you want to accumulate DP fast it may be the best to Deploy her – use the Skill – and then replace her with someone more powerful. It is questionable does Grani justify all the investments because Vigna who is lower rarity can accumulate more DP but cannot sustain the damage Grani can.

Gravel

Gravel is a 4-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical Damage…

Gravel is a 4-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical Damage. Her first skill is “Shadow Assault” and it increases Gravel’s DEF by up to 400% upon deployment continuously decaying over up to 12 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Rat Swarm” that grants her a Shield upon deployment equal to up to 250% of her Max HP that decays over 10 seconds. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 40% for all materials. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she can increase Precious Metal formula related productivity by 35%.

Gravel has a Talent that decreases her Deployment cost by 1 and increases the DEF of all allies whose DP cost is lower than 10 by up to 8%. If her potential is fully increased (easily maxed) Gravel DP cost is only 3 DP, which is amazing. Unlike other Fast-Redeployment Specialist Gravel relies on her DEF instead of ATK. So basically, you will use her when you want to buy time and prevent dangerous opponents from approaching quickly towards your front-line. Keep in mind that Gravel’s skills will decay fast and that she will be helpless after several seconds. Her main weakness is because she can’t be used for offensive purposes at all since her ATK is ridiculously low. However, if you want to soak deadly enemy Special Skills or you want to stall incoming Elite Mobs you can sacrifice Gravel almost for free with a possibility to that again in no time.

Grey THROAT

Grey Throat is a 5-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage…

Grey Throat is a 5-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritize Air-Targets. Her first skill is “Flying Feathers” that grants that the next attack will shoot 2 times causing up to 140% ATK as physical damage. On Elite 1 she learns “Counterflow” that increases her ATK by up to 40% for 20 seconds and allows her to make 3 consecutive attacks with each shot. Her main base skill decreases the Morale consumed per hour of all Operators in the Control Center by 0.05. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she increases her Morale recovered by 0.7 per hour.

Grey Throat is an Anti-Air Sniper whose talent increases her ASPD by up to 12 and on Elite 2 grants her 15% chance that her ATK is increased to 150% when attacking. Her first skill can be very powerful because she can store up to 3 charges and unleashed it one after another causing devastating damage outburst against the unfortunate target. Combined with her chance to inflict increased damage with each attack on Elite 2, the first skill can be very potent against even the toughest enemies. Her second skill may seem very powerful since it allows her to unleash 3 strikes with each attack but it lasts only 20 seconds, so sometimes the damage potential of the first skill is greater when we measure the overall damage output during the entire battle. The overall usefulness of Grey Throat heavily depends on her chance to inflict increased damage which means that sometimes she could be an MVP and sometimes you may lose because her damage output was not good enough. As an Anti-Air Sniper, she will most definitely do her job against the drones in the same manner if not better as Platinum or Blue Poison, but unlike them, Grey Throat can sometimes be very useful against High Def targets as well. Her usefulness as Single-target Sniper is second only to Exusai’s but still, that is not good enough that she is considered as Top Tier Operator.

Greyy

Greyy is a 4-Star AOE Caster who causes Arts damage against multiple targets…

Greyy is a 4-Star AOE Caster who causes Arts damage against multiple targets. Her first skill is “Tactical Chant β” and it increases her ASPD by up to 75. On Elite 1 she learns “Electrostatic Discharge” that increases her ASPD for up to 80 and doubles the duration of her talent (Reduces the targets movement speed for up to 0.6 seconds when attacking) Slow effect. Her main base skill increases the Drone Recovery Rate in the Power Plant by 20%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to Workshop where she increases the production rate of byproducts by 50% for any materials.

Grey’s talent allows her to consistently slows enemies like she is a Slow Supporter, with AOE attacks. However, her range is significantly shorter and only affects targets who are in front of her so she can’t control the enemy movement as Supporter can. At the top of that her slow is not that potent before she is improved to Elite 2 so basically, she must be maximized to reach her full potential and that is the real problem because it is questionable does her potential justify the investment when we know that her base damage is not great. Grey is definitely better than Lava but she is not even near to Gitano or Skyfire and if you want to use her for slowing enemies think twice because you can get Operator with Arts damage and Slow for significantly lower Deployment Price.

Gummy

Gummy is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage and can heal surrounding allies…

Gummy is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage and can heal surrounding allies. Her first skill is “Provisions” and it restores HP of a nearby ally by up to 160% of Gummy’s ATK in the next attack. On Elite 1 she learns “Cooking” – Gummy first stops attacking and starts cooking for 10 seconds increasing her DEF by up to 80%. After the cooking is over she focuses on healing nearby allies increasing her ATK by up to 80%. Her main Base skill increases order acquisition efficiency in Trading Post by 30% and reduces Morale consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she can increase Morale restored per hour by 0.35 to another operator assigned to Dormitory whose Moral is not full and for herself.

Gummy has a Talent that grants her up to 18% chance to increase the current damage of her attack to up to 200% and allows her to Stun the target for up to 1 second. She has lower Defense compared to other Defenders but she can heal allies next to her and her HP pool is high enough to provide her enough sustain to efficiently guard the frontline. Her second skill is very interesting because it significantly increases her DEF for 10 seconds and then heals all nearby allies with increased ATK. To use this skill properly you must know the map very well if you want that heal occurs at the right moment. Gummy is a very interesting operator whose attacks can Stun enemies but she needs to be maximized as soon as possible for reaching her full potential. She can be obtained with a Starter pack for 0.99$ and this could be a problem for some people.

Haze

Haze is a 4–Star Single-Target Caster that causes Arts damage…

Haze is a 4–Star Single-Target Caster that causes Arts damage. Her first skill is “ATK Up β” and it increases her ATK by up to 80% for 25 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Crimson Eyes” that increases her ATK and ASPD by up to 60% for 25 seconds but lower her Max HP by 75% for the duration. Her main Base skill increases Precious Metal formula related productivity in the Factory by 30%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she can increase the order acquisition efficiency by 30%.

Haze has a talent that grants her attacks to reduce the target’s RES by up to 23% for 1 second with each strike. Haze is a simple forward Single-Target Caster who can be very useful against targets with high RES and who basically has no special skills. Her second Skill can be used very often increasing her ATK and ASPD significantly and granting constant Arts damage contribution as long as Haze is not under a threat of the enemy’s attacks. However, if someone attacks Haze during the skill duration, she will die instantly. It is highly unlikely that Haze will be prioritized over Amiya but if you are annoyed with Amiya’s attack-preventing skills you may use Haze as a certain source of consistent Arts damage. All in all, Haze is a decent Caster who will respond well to all your needs for Arts damage.

Hellagur

Hellagur is a 6-Stars Single-Target Guard who causes Physical Damage and who cannot receive healing from other allies but who heals himself with every strike…

Hellagur is a 6-Stars Single-Target Guard who causes Physical Damage and who cannot receive healing from other allies but who heals himself with every strike. His first skill is “Crescent Moon”. It increases the ATK of the next attack to up to 175%, attacking twice consecutively. On Elite 1 he learns “Half Moon” that increases his ATK by up to 80% and changes his attack to twice attack, obtaining 75% Physical Dodge. On Elite 2 he learns “Full Moon” that increases his ATK by up to 100%, increases his attack range by 2 tiles in front of him, and allows him to attack 3 targets simultaneously. Hellguar has 2 main Base Skills. First Base Skill increases his own Morale recovering in Dormitory by 0.5 per hour. Second Base Skill increases the production rate of Byproducts in the Workshop by 80% while processing Skill Summaries. On Elite 1 he can restore 0.1 Morale per hour to all other operators assigned to the Dormitory. On Elite 2 he restores 0.55 Morale per hour to self and 0.1 Morale per hour all other Operators in the Dormitory, instead.

Hellagur has 2 Talents. “Waxing Moon” increases his Attack Speed based on his lost Health (reaches max boosted ASPD +100 when below 30% HP), while “Ingenuous Strategist” regenerates up to 70 HP per second while is not blocking an enemy. Hellaguar is 1-Man Army – he can duel any enemy because the lower his HP is the higher his Attack Speed is and his self-healing is stronger. All his skills are very powerful combined with his talents and trait but I prefer “Half Moon” because it can be used very often and it provides incredible Physical Dodge chance. Hellagur’s ATK and HP Pool are amazing itself, but in synergy with all his abilities it allows you to Deploy him all alone on the opposite side of the screen with a certainty that he will survive everything that comes in his way and that he will clear all enemies who are blocked by him. His only weakness is considerably high Deployment Price and the fact that 1vs1 Operators are generally used only on rare occasions.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus is a 3-Stars Single-target Medic who heals her allies…

Hibiscus is a 3-Stars Single-target Medic who heals her allies. As a 3-Stars Operator, Hibiscus has only 1 skill and is “Healing Up α”. It increases her ATK by up to 50%. Her main Base skill restores 0.55 Morale per hour to another Operator assigned to the Dormitory whose Morale is not full. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Workshop where she can increase the production rate of byproducts by 70% for Elite Materials.

Hibiscus has a Talent that further increases her ATK by up to 8%. Along with Ansel, Hibiscus is an initial Healer for your squad who is easy to maximize and slightly cheaper than other Medics of higher rarity. She has no special skills except increased ATK which allows her to provide better healing for allies. Hibiscus is easily farmed through Recruitment but she should be used only in the beginning before you develop Gavial or Myrrh. In short, Hibiscus should be used only if there is no other option because, honestly, she is the worst Medic in the game.

Hoshiguma

Hoshiguma is a 6-Stars Defender who causes Physical damage

Hoshiguma is a 6-Stars Defender who causes Physical damage. She is the Single-target Operator but with some skills, she becomes an AOE Operator. Her first skill is “Warpath”. It increases her DEF by up to 80% and her ATK by up to 40%. On Elite 1 she learns “Thorns”. This skill increases her DEF by up to 30% and deals up to 100% of ATK to all enemies that attack Hoshiguma. On Elite 2 she learns “Saw of Strength”. It increases her ATK by up to 140%, her DEF by up to 90%, and allows her to cut all targets in the frontal grid with her shield. Her main Base skill increases Defender Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 Hoshiguma increases Defender Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 60% instead.

Hoshiguma has 2 talents. “Tactical Armor” grants her up to 28% chance to resist Physical and Arts damage. ”Special Operation Strategy” is obtained on Elite 2 and it increases DEF of all Defenders by up to 8%. Hoshiguma is DPS Defender who causes AoE damage with her second and her third skill and who can survive almost anything that comes in her way. Her third skill is extremely powerful since it allows her to quickly eliminate large groups of mobs all by herself. At the top of that, she has an incredible Health Pool which combined with her ability to completely resist incoming damage makes her impenetrable in most of the situations. Since she can permanently increase the DEF of all Defenders in the battle, Hoshiguma allows you to deploy multiple DPS Defenders for maximum potential. Having Hoshiguma nad Liskarm together in the mission is simply amazing and allows you to utilize new attacking strategies. Hoshiguma’s Deployment price is somewhat higher for a reason – she is definitely a Top Tier Defender in Arknights.

Ifrit

Ifrit is a 6-Stars AOE Caster who causes Arts damage to all enemies in a straight line (4 cells)…

Ifrit is a 6-Stars AOE Caster who causes Arts damage to all enemies in a straight line (4 cells). Her first skill is “Fanaticism” and it increases her ATK by up to 20% and her ASPD by up to 80. On Elite 1 she learns “Pyroclasm”. It deals up to 250% of ATK Arts damage in the next attack, reduces the target’s DEF up to 300 for 3 seconds, and causes that enemies take Burn damage (can store up to 3 Charges). On Elite 2 Ifrit learns “Scorched Earth” that deals up to 140% of ATK Arts damage per second to all ground enemies within range and reduces their RES by up to 20. During the duration of the skill (20 seconds) Ifrit loses 2% of Max HP per second. Her main base Skill increases the Drone recovery rate in the Power Plant by 10%. On Elite Ifrit increases the Drone recovery rate in the Power Plant by 15% instead.

Ifrit has 2 Talents. “Spiritual Dissolution” reduces RES of enemies within range by up to 40%. “Rhine Loop” is obtained on Elite 2 and it restores 2 Extra Skill Points every 5.5 seconds. Unlike other AOE Casters, Ifrit can attack only enemies in the straight line which could be a problem on maps where you can’t find appropriate Range Spot for her. With her second skill, she significantly reduces the DEF of enemies within her range meaning that she can soften HIGH Def targets before they approach her melee allies. Her third skill, on the other hand, reduces RES of enemies within the range which combined with her Talent makes her an ultimate RES debuffer. However, her third skill affects only the ground targets and that could be an issue on maps with High RES Drones. If she is Elite 2, Ifrit restores her Skill Points much faster than any other Operator allowing her to use her powerful skills constantly and that suggests that she should be maximized as soon as possible for reaching her full potential. Ifrit’s Deployment Cost is one of the highest in the game and her Attack Speed is not very good if she doesn’t use the first skill. Besides that, another weakness is the fact that she constantly loses HP while executing “Scorched Earth” meaning that she can use it maximally 3 times before she kills herself. Nevertheless, Ifrit is an AOE Caster with the highest damage and utility potential, and she will be a quality addition to any Squad.

Indra

Indra is a 5-Stars Single-Target Guard who causes Physical damage and can block 1 enemy…

Indra is a 5-Stars Single-Target Guard who causes Physical damage and can block 1 enemy. Her first skill is “Armorcrusher” and it increases the ATK of the next hit by up to 140% ignoring up to 60% of the target’s DEF. On Elite 1 she learns “Sundered Souls” that increases her ATK by up to 120%, transforms damage-dealt into Arts damage, and restores HP by up to 25% of inflicted damage. Her main Base skill increases the Clue Search speed in the Reception Room by 10%. On Elite 2 Indra skill increases the Clue Search speed in the Reception Room by 10% and it is easier for her to find Glasgow (Clue 5).

Indra has a Talent that grants her up to 33% chance to Dodge the enemy Physical Melee Attack and increases the ATK by up to 100% for the next attack if the Dodge was successful. Indra is a very powerful Brawler Guard who is specialized for a fight against HIGH Def Enemies and who can sustain incoming attacks for a significant amount of time due to her Dodge chance and self-healing from the second skill. Her damage is almost doubled after every successful Dodge so she is quite capable of quickly eliminating multiple opponents. She can Block only 1 enemy so she is best when deployed on the separate slot where she can soften approaching enemies and buy time for your front-line. On top of that, her Deployment Cost is only 10 DP which can be further decreased by Potential. However, Indra can be obtained only from recruitment which could be a problem because she is recruited on very rare occasions. Her only true weakness in the end-game is a very long cooldown of her second ability that makes her vulnerable against end-game mobs who will most likely kill her before she can heal herself

Istina

Istina is a 5-Star Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows targets…

Istina is a 5-Star Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows targets. She is Single-target Operator but her skill allows her to be an AOE Arts damage dealer. Her first skill “Concentration” and it significantly increases her Attack Speed (reduces the Attack interval by up to 1.1). On Elite 1 she learns “Literature Storm”. This skill increases her ATK by up to 75%, expands her range by 1 cell in all directions except frontal direction, and attacks 2 extra targets. Her main Base skill increases Supporter Operators’ Specialization Training Speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Reception Room where she can increase the Clue Research speed by 10% making Ursus Student Self-Governing Group (Clue 4) easier to obtain.

Istina has a Talent that increases her ASPD by up to 21 at the cost of her DEF that is reduced by 35%. This talent is acquired when Istina earns Elite 2 and it is dangerous for Istina just as it is good for her. Istina’s trademark is the second skill that allows her to become an AoE Caster who slows enemies within a wide range. It is of utmost importance that Istina gets this skill maximized as soon as possible if you want to use her. In that case, you will get AoE caster whose Deployment cost is only 15 DP with a significantly increased range in all directions. However, the damage potential of Istina is much lower than average AOE Caster and she is practically a glass cannon who will explode immediately if someone targets her. Nevertheless, once you obtain Istina she will be your main Slow Supporter character until you recruit Angelina.

Jessica

Jessica is a 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritize Air Enemies…

Jessica is a 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritize Air Enemies. Her first skill is “Power Strike β” and it increases the ATK of the next strike to up to 230%. On Elite 1 she learns “Smokescreen” that increases her ATK by up to 80% for 25 seconds and grants her up to 75% chance to Dodge Arts and Physical Damage. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 25%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Reception Room where she can increase Clue Search speed by 10% making Blacksteel Worldwide (Clue 3) easier to obtain.

Jessica has a talent that increases her ASPD by up to 12. She is a simple-forward Anti-Air Sniper who has skills that increase her damage potential enough so she can be successfully used in the later stages of the game. Her second skill also gives her a considerable chance to Dodge all incoming attacks which can be essential when you are forced to deploy the Anti-Air unit on the separate slot without healing. However, Jessica’s attack potential Is limited compared to other snipers of the higher rarity and it is questionable should anyone develop her on Elite 2 considering the price and her average base ATK that is lower than the base ATK of 3-Stars Kroos while they are the same level. Jessica is an Operator who is available to anyone and since you need at least 2 viable Anti-Air Snipers for the early and mid-game you should probably improve her to some level.

Kroos

Kroos is a 3-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritize Air Enemies…

Kroos is a 3-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritize Air Enemies. As a 3-Stars operator, Kroos has only one skill and that is “Double Tap – Auto” that grants that next attack will shoot 2 arrows in a row, causing up to 140% of ATK Physical damage with each shot. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 15% in the first hour and after that by 2% per hour up to 25% maximum. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she can recover 0,7 Morale per hour for herself.

Kroos has a Talent that grants her up to 20% chance to increase the damage of the current attack to up to 160%. She is an early 3-Stars Anti- Air Sniper who can be viable for a considerable amount of time through the entire mid-game. Her damage potential is higher than the damage potential of some Operators of higher rarity and she can successfully fulfill your needs for minimal investment. Her Talent in synergy with her skill can be literally devastating against the Drones with a little luck and you will often think that Kroos is a better Anti-Air Operator than Vermeil, Jessica, Meteor or May. Since you need at least 2 anti-air Snipers before the end-game Kross will definitely be one of them for a long time.

Lancet-2

Lancet-2 is a 1-Star Single-target Medic who heals his allies and who doesn’t count towards Deployment Limit…

Lancet-2 is a 1-Star Single-target Medic who heals his allies and who doesn’t count towards Deployment Limit. As a 1-Star Robot Operator, Lancet-2 has no skills. His main Base skill increases the Drone recovery rate in the Power Plant by 10%. On level 30 he can be assigned to Dormitory where he can restore 0.66 Morale per hour to another operator in the Dormitory whose Morale is not full.

Lancet-2 has a Talent that allows him to heal up to 500 HP to all allies on the battlefield. Lancet 2 is very squishy and he will die after in few seconds if someone targets him but he doesn’t count in Deployment Limit meaning that you can use him when you already deployed all needed operators. He could be extremely useful in some Challenge missions where you cannot use medics or on Annihilation maps where you cannot cover the entire map with available medics. His Talent that immediately heals all allies on the map is also very useful in many situations but as the game goes you will ignore all his virtues and simply avoid putting him in a squad – that is the fate of all 1-Star and 2-Stars Operators in Arknights.

Lappland

Lappland is a 5-Stars Single-target Guard with an increased attack range…

Lappland is a 5-Stars Single-target Guard with an increased attack range. His first skill is “Sundial” and it increases his ATK by up to 70% and grants him up to 40% chance to resist Physical attack. On Elite 1 he learns “Wolf Spirit” that increases his ATK by up to 120% and turns all damage into Arts damage attacking 1 extra target and removing the damage reduction of his ranged attacks. His main Base skill grants that as long as he is assigned to Trading post with Texas, Morale consumed per hour will be decreased by 0.1 and the order limit will be increased by 2. On Elite 2 Base skill grants him that as long as he is assigned to Trading post with Texas, Morale consumed per hour will be decreased by 0.1 and the order limit will be increased by 4 instead.

Lappland is a guard with the ability to execute ranged attacks with 80% of base ATK. He has a talent that disables the target’s special ability when attacking, lasting up to 6 seconds. This makes him especially effective against exploding targets ad enemies who can stun. His second skill removes damage reduction from his ranged attacks and transforms all damage to Arts damage which can be very useful against High DEF enemies. On the other hand, his first skill grants him up to 40% chance to totally ignore incoming Physical damage which combined with his ability to block 2 enemies makes him a viable semi-Defender in times of need. Lappland is a versatile Guard who will be most welcomed in any squad. His ability to prevent Special Abilities is needed in several missions and just for that, he should be maximized as soon as possible. Lappland is not as powerful as SilverAsh but he is a Top Tier Guard nevertheless.

Lava

Lava is a 3-Stars AOE Caster that causes Arts damage to multiple targets…

Lava is a 3-Stars AOE Caster that causes Arts damage to multiple targets. As a 3-Stars Operator, she has only one skill “Tactical Chant α” that increases her ASPD by up to 50. Her main base skill increases the Drone recovery rate in the Power Plant by 10%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she can increase Originum formula productivity by 35%.

Lava has a Talent grants her up to 35 Skill Points upon Deployments allowing her skill to be executed immediately. Besides increased Attack Speed, Lava cannot do anything special but she is more than capable of fulfilling your need for an AOE Caster in the early stages. However, if you have to choose between Lava and 12 F I suggest that you invest in 12F because he will be more than sufficient for the early missions with significantly lower development prices. If you have difficulties recruiting AOE Caster of higher rarity Lava may be the solution for some mid-game missions but do not improve her more than it is needed because you will replace her as soon as you find another AOE Caster.

Liskarm

Liskarm is a 5-Star Single-target Defender who causes Physical damage with increased Attack Range and can block up to 3 targets…

Liskarm is a 5-Star Single-target Defender who causes Physical damage with increased Attack Range and can block up to 3 targets. Her first skill is “Charged Defense” and it blocks the next source of damage while increasing her DEF by up to 100% for 8 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Counter Arc” that decreases her Attack Speed, increases her ATK by up to 200% transforming all the damage into Arts damage against 4 enemies at the same time at most, and grants up to 25% chance to Stun the hit targets for 1 second. Her main Base skill increases the Drone recovery rate in the Power Plant by 15%. On Elite 2 she increases the Drone recovery rate in the Power Plant by 20% instead.

Liskarm is a DPS Defender who has 2 Talents. “Tactical Defense” restores 1 Skill Point to her and to random adjacent ally after every received attack. “Thunder Resistance” increases his RES by up to 13. Liskarm is not as tough as some other high rarity Defenders but her damage potential and increased Resistance compensate that weakness. Her second skill can be very effective against High DEF targets and allows her to be an AOE Arts damage dealer but you must be careful because Liskarm is stunned for 5 seconds after using the skill which can be very dangerous if she is not protected with Operator behind her. It is important to mention that Liskarm can target Aerial Enemies within range and that he is a rare Defender with considerable Arts Resistance capable of sustaining even the most dangerous enemy casters. In combination with Hoshiguma Liskarm may be the solution for a wide variety of missions where you luck additional DPS. If you want to use Liskarm as a typical Defender relying on first skill is the best option although automatic activation of the skill can be problematic sometimes. All in all, Liskarm is a versatile Defender who can be an answer for many situations that were unsolvable without him.

Magallan

Magallan is a 6-Star Single Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and summons Drones…

Magallan is a 6-Star Single Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and summons Drones. Her first skill is “High-Efficiency Freezing Module”. Passive effect of this skill grants that enemies within the attack range of Magallan and drones will be slowed every 3 seconds for up to 1 second. Upon activation of this skill instead of slowing, Freezes (stop moving doesn’t stop attacking) targets for up to 2.5 seconds and retreats all Drones after this effect ends. On Elite 1 she learns “Laser Mining Module”. The passive effect of this skill allows Magallan to deploy Drones on melee tiles causing single-target Arts damage. Upon activation, Magallan and Drones gain up to 150 ASPD and Drones become AOE damage dealers. Skill lasts 15 seconds and retreats Drones after this effect ends. On Elite 2 Magallan learns “Armed Combat Module”. The passive effect of this skill allows Magallan to deploy Drones on ranged tiles causing Physical AoE damage. Upon activation, Magallan and her Drones gain up to 150% ATK and the AOE range of Drones’ attacks is increased. This skill lasts 15 seconds and retreats drones after that. Magallan’s main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 50% for any material. On Elite 2, she reduces the Moral consumption in the Workshop for all formulas that cost 4 Morale or more, by 2.

Magallan has 2 talents. “Support Drone-Soaring Dragon” allows her to use up to 5 drones that do not block (max 3 deployed at once). Drones’ effect changes based upon Skill. “Optical Refraction Accessories” grants that deployed Drones cannot be targeted by enemy attacks within up to 22 seconds after deployment. Magallan is a 1-man army who can basically do everything by herself and who can be used for several different roles. She can replace Anti-Air Sniper, Slow Supporter, AOE Caster, and Arts Guard by using appropriate skills in the appropriate situation. It is of utmost importance to master the use of her skills because it is crucial to activating the skills at the right moment so Drones can fulfill their duties and retreat before taking casualties. Killed Drone cannot be deployed again so you must be very careful. Deploying Drones is not for free and that may be discouraging if you have problems with DP economy. However, all players will find Magallan irreplaceable for missions where the number of Operators is limited and where her drones will be a great addition in every way. Magallan is a very powerful operator who may be a solution for a lot of situations. Mastering her is very interesting and very hard at the same time, but once you learn all her secrets she will have a certain place in your Squad.

Manticore

A 5-Stars AOE Specialist who causes Physical damage to all targets within range and who has a 50% chance to dodge Physical and Arts attacks while being less likely targeted by enemies…

Manticore is a 5-Stars AOE Specialist who causes Physical damage to all targets within range and who has a 50% chance to dodge Physical and Arts attacks while being less likely targeted by enemies. Her first skill is “Scorpion Venom”. It reduces the Movement Speed of all targets within range by up to 50% for up to 5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Toxic Overload”. This skill increases the duration of her Attack Animation and increases Attack Interval to 5.2 seconds while increasing Manticore’s ATK by up to 90% allowing her to Stun all hit targets within range for up to 1 second. Her main Base skill increases Specialist Operators’ Specialization Training in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases Specialist Operators’ Specialization Training in the Training Room by 50% instead.

Manticore is a Crowd-Control Specialist who either slows nearby targets or stuns them depending on the active skill. She is less likely to be targeted by enemy and she is practically immune to melee attacks since her Block is 0 but she could be in real danger from ranged attacks because she is very squishy and will not survive more than 2 attacks regardless of her chance to Dodge attacks. Because of that, she has a Talent that grants her Invisibility (cannot be targeted by ranged units). The first attack made from the Invisible state gains up to 54% ATK and removes Invisible. Manticore regains Invisible after not attacking at least 5 seconds. Manticore is a very useful operator who is practically immune to all melee units which allows her to be placed separately amid enemy movement, drastically slowing their progression and seriously harming them at the same time. Her main weakness is her ridiculously slow Attack Speed – when the second skill is activated Manticore attacks once every 5.2 seconds. Nevertheless, Manticore can be a secret power of your roster if you mastered her positioning and gameplay. She is definitely stronger than Ethan but unfortunately, she is much harder to recruit.

Matoimaru

Matoimaru is a 4-Stars Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage and can block only 1 target…

Matoimaru is a 4-Stars Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage and can block only 1 target. Her first skill is “Regeneration β” that restores HP by up to 50% of her Max HP per second. On Elite 1 she learns “Demonic Power” that reduces her DEF to 0 but increases her ATK by up to 150% for 15 seconds. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 70% for Skill Summaries. On Elite she can also be assigned to the Trading post where she increases the Order acquisition efficiency by 30%.

Matoimaru is a very efficient 1vs1 Guard who has an enormous amount of Health because of her Talent that increases HP by up to 23% at the cost of her DEF that is decreased by 20%. Her first skill allows her to be used as a tank who can sustain almost anything while her second skill increases her ATK to the point where she can make attacks higher than 2k damage. 1vs1 Guard is primarily used as a quick solution for enemy casters and it can be viable in the early and mid-game but later on, there is no need for them to be honest. Matoimaru has her own virtues but the sad truth is that Melantha of the same level is more powerful than her and since it is hard to justify resource investment to Elite 2 for Matoimaru, you will probably not use her at all.

Matterhorn

Matterhorn is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage…

Matterhorn is a 4-Star Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage. His first skill is “Stamina Enhancement” and it increases his Max HP by up to 70%, restoring his HP by up to 40 per second for up to 30 seconds. On Elite 1 he learns “Cold Resistance” that increases his Max HP by up to 50%, his DEF by up to 30%, and his RES by up to 100% for up to 30 seconds. His main base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading Post by 15% and Order limit by 1. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to the Training Room where he can increase Defender Operators’ Specialization training speed by 50%.

Matterhorn has a Talent that increases his RES by up to 15 making him a solid Arts Defender who can be a solution against heavy Arts attacks. He is basically a straight-forward Defender who can block 3 targets causing minimal Physical damage but his increased Resistance and buffs from the second skill are what make him special. He can also heal himself with the first skill becoming capable of solo guarding tough spots. Truth to be told, Matterhorn is something between a Healer Defender and DEF Defender but he doesn’t exceed in any of roles and when we know that full Healing Defenders can tank Arts damage most efficiently we come to the question why we should use Matterhorn in the first place when there are much better options suited for certain situations. Matterhorn is not a bad Defender but he hasn’t his own specialty where he shines and which would prioritize him over other Defenders.

May

May is a 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air targets…

May is a 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air targets. Her first skill is “Paralyzing Shell” which increases TAK of the next attack by up to 200% and slows the target for up to 2.5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Binding Shock” that slightly reduces her Attack Speed but increases her ATK by up to 120% for up to 30 seconds, slowing targets for up to 1 second with a 30% chance to stun them for up to 1.2 seconds. Her main base skill increases the Clue search speed in the Reception Room by 20%. On Elite 1 she has a greater chance to find Penguin Logistics clues as long as she is assigned to the Reception Room.

May is a decent Anti-Air Sniper who has a talent that permanently increases her ATK by up to 8% and her ASPD by up to 8. With decent attacking potential and ability to slow or even stun targets May tends to be your permanent Anti-Air solution through the entire early and mid-game. However, be careful because May shines as long as no one attacks her because her DEF is extremely low and provides her no protection what so ever making it necessary to provide her with healing in most of the situations. Since you will need at least 2 Anti-Air Snipers before the end-game, May could be an ideal addition to your squad.

Mayer

Mayer is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and summons Robotters…

Mayer is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and summons Robotters. Her first skill is “Bionic Device”. It grants that all Robotters gain up to 35% Arts and Physical Dodge. When this skill is mastered the Dodge chance is also given to all Operators adjacent to Robotters. On Elite 1 she learns “Detonate and Recycle”. This skill detonates all deployed Robotters immediately causing up to 600% of Mayer’s ATK Arts damage to nearby enemies and Stunning all hit targets for up to 2 seconds (the exploded Robotters will be recycled and ready for use again). Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 65% for all materials. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she can increase productivity by 30%.

Mayer is a Summoner Supporter who has a Talent that allows her to summon up to 5 Robotters that slows ASPD of the nearby enemy. Deploying Robotter costs only 5 DP. Robotters can block 1 target causing minimal damage. Mayer’s first skill increases the sustenance of Summons while her second skill makes them suicide bombers that can literally erase anything if they are placed properly (each Robotter’s explosion is counted separately and its combined damage is counted against affected enemy HP). Mayer’s versatility is her main virtue and she can be a useful part of any Squad but her game-play must be mastered. Mayer is not as powerful as Magallan but she can be almost effective as her if you chose to place heavy investment into her development. Having a Summoner in missions where the number of Operators is limited is a must, so if you can’t recruit Magallan, invest in Mayer and you won’t be disappointed.

Melantha

Melantha is a 3-Stars Single-Target guard who causes Physical Damage and can block 1 enemy…

Melantha is a 3-Stars Single-Target guard who causes Physical Damage and can block 1 enemy. As a 3-Stars Operator, Melantha has only 1 skill and that is “ATK Up α” that increases her ATK by up to 50%. Her main Base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading Post by 25% and Order limit by 1. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Workshop where she can increase the production rate of byproducts by 40% for all materials.

Melantha is a well-known 1vs1 Guard who has a talent that permanently increases her ATK by up to 8%. This combined with her Skill makes her a very potent single-target damage dealer who can easily be maximized for the low price and who will successfully eliminate any incoming threat that needs to be eliminated. Melantha has amazing attributes for the 3-Stars Operator and she has greater potential than some Guards of higher Rarity. 1vs1 Guards are primarily used against enemy casters but their relevance shrinks the longer you play because you gain new more powerful Operators who can do a similar job more efficiently for the lower price (Low Redeployment Specialists for example). Melantha will part of your Squad for the long, there is no question about it, but at one point she will be simply replaced with someone better

Meteor

Meteor is a 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical Damage and prioritizes Aerial targets…

Meteor is a 4-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical Damage and prioritizes Aerial targets. Her first skill is “Armor Breaker” which grants that the next attack deals up to 180% of ATK Physical damage and reduces the target’s DEF by up to 35% for 5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Armor Breaker – Spread” that causes that the next attack deals up to 2005 of ATK Physical damage to at most 5 targets within range reducing the DEF of each target by up to 40% for 5 seconds. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 15%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she restores 0.55 Morale per hour to another Operator assigned to that Dormitory whose Morale is not full.

Meteor is an “Anti-Air Specialist” who has a Talent with the same name that increases her ATK against AIR targets by up to 40%. Both her skills reduce the DEF of enemies but her second skill does that simultaneously on 5 targets significantly increasing the Squads overall damage output. Meteor could be your permanent Anti-Air solution until the end-game but keep in mind that Kross does more damage when they are the same level and it is highly unlikely that you will develop Meteor to Elite 2 because you will most probably recruit Snipers of a higher rarity until then. Nevertheless, Meteor will not fail you if you chose to invest in her and since you will need at least 2 Anti-Air Snipers before the end-game you may freely develop her to Elite 1 Level 60 without fear that you will waste your resources.

Meteorite

Meteorite is a 5-Stars AOE Sniper who causes Physical damage against multiple targets…

Meteorite is a 5-Stars AOE Sniper who causes Physical damage against multiple targets. Her first skill is “Buckshot” and it expands AOE for the next attack causing up to 215 % of ATK Physical damage. On Elite 1 she learns “High-Explosive Shell” that immediately launches a firebomb causing up to 3005 of ATK Physical damage to all hit targets within range and reducing their DEF by up to 330 for 10 seconds. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 70% for Elite Materials. On Elite 2 she increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 80% instead when processing Elite Materials.

Meteorite is an AOE Sniper who has increased range at the cost of her Attack Speed. She has a talent that grants her up to 30% chance to increase the ATK of the current attack by 60% when using normal attacks or skills. This means that her damage output depends on luck and can be devastating with a few lucky shots. Her second skill significantly reduces the DEF of all hit enemies increasing the overall damage output of the entire team greatly. AOE Snipers are ideal for dealing with large groups of mobs and they are sometimes even more effective than AOE Casters. Meteorite can even clear larger groups of High DEF mobs with her second skill. The deployment cost of AOE Sniper is high but it is still lower than the DP cost of AOE Caster. Meteorite is currently the best AOE Sniper in the game and if you recruit her you will solve many of your in-game problems.

Midnight

Midnight is a 3-Star Guard who causes both Physical and Arts damage within increased range…

Midnight is a 3-Star Guard who causes both Physical and Arts damage within increased range. As a 3-Star Operator Midnight has only 1 skill and that is “Enchant Weapon α” that increases his ATK by up to 35% and transforms Physical damage to Arts damage. His main base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency by 30% and reduces Morale consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to the Factory where he can increase Originum formula related productivity by 30%.

Midnight is ranged Guard who causes 80% if normal ATK with his ranged attacks. When attacking he has up to 20% chance to increase the current damage of the attack to up to 160%. With his second skill, he can cause Arts damage becoming a viable option against High DEF targets but unfortunately, his base ATK is not high enough to seriously harm more dangerous mobs. Insufficient ATK power is the Midnight’s main weakness because while higher rarity ranged Guard can be developed to successfully contribute with their mixed damage Midnight simply cannot deliver enough damage to justify resource investment. Midnight should be only used if you can’t recruit Lappland or Silver Ash and you want to have Ranged Guard at any cost.

Mostima

Mostima is a 6-Stars AOE Caster that causes Arts damage against multiple targets…

Mostima is a 6-Stars AOE Caster that causes Arts damage against multiple targets. As a 6-Stars Operator Mostima has 3 skills. Her first skill is “ATK Up y” which increases her ATK by up to 100% for 30 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Lock of shattered Time” that Stuns all enemies within range for 7 seconds causing up to 140% ATK as Arts damage per second to all affected targets. On Elite 2 she learns “Key of Chronology” that increases her range by 1 cell in all directions turning all attacks into ripples that spread outward. This skill also increases Mostima’s ATK by up to 170% and the effect of her second talent (Slows the movement speed of all enemies within range by up to 18%) by 3 times knocking all hit targets slightly back. Mostima’s main Base skill increases the Clue Research Speed in the Reception Room by 10%. On Elite 2 she obtains Penguin Logistics (Clue 2) in the Reception Room more easily while increasing the Clue Research Speed by 10%.

Mostima is an AOE Caster with significant Crowd Control abilities and amazing damage potential. She has a Talent that increases SP Recovery of all Casters on the battlefield (including her) allowing them to use their skills more often (SP Recovery is not stackable with other SP recovery effects and only the highest effect of this type will take place). With her second skill, she can stun all targets for 7 seconds which can be incredible if affected targets are stun within the range of other damage dealers in the Squad. Her third skill doesn’t stun enemies but in combination with her second talent slows target to the point when they hardly move while within Mostima’s attacks range (which is increased for third skill). Mostima needs Elite 2 to reach her full potential because only then she can slow targets within range. When she is developed to Elite 2 she can be AOE Caster and Slow Supporter at the same time which makes her probably the best Crowd Control Operator in the game. Like all AOE Casters, Mostima is very expensive for deploying and her skills have a long cooldown but since she recovers SP very fast that should not be a problem. Mostima will definitely change your game experience once you recruit her but you must carefully calculate DP economy in most of the maps if you want to deploy her fast enough to successfully influence the outcome of battles.

Mousse

Mousse is a 4-Stars Single-Target Guard that causes Arts damage and can block only 1 target…

Mousse is a 4-Stars Single-Target Guard that causes Arts damage and can block only 1 target. Her first skill “Scratch” increases the ATK for the next Attack by up to 75% and decreases the target’s ATK by up to 40% for 5 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Fury” that increases her ATK and DEF by up to 75% for 40 seconds. Mousse’s main Base skill increases Order acquisition efficiency in the Trading Post by 30%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she restores 0.3 Morale per hour to another Operator assigned to Dormitory whose Moral is not full and to herself.

Mousse is an Arts melee damage dealer who has a talent that grants her up to 23% chance to perform another attack when attacking. Her second skill lasts very long and almost doubles her damaging potential and defensive capabilities making her ideal for dueling High DEF targets, Elite Mobs or Bosses. As an Arts Guard Mousse is somewhat more expensive for deploying than other Guards and her base ATK is a little bit lower. Do not forget that she can block only 1 target so do not use her for only defensive purposes. She should be used on maps where you have Caster restrictions and where her Arts damage potential will be put into good use. Mousse can be very useful but her usefulness cannot be compared with Astesia’s so you shouldn’t spend resources on her if that is not absolutely necessary.

Myrrh

Myrrh is a 4-Stars Single-target Medic who heals her allies…

Myrrh is a 4-Stars Single-target Medic who heals her allies. Her first skill “Dual Healing: increases the ATK of the next heal to up to 125% and can target 1 extra ally. On Elite 1 she learns “Medic Field” that increases her ATK by up to 65% for 25 seconds allowing her to heal 1 extra ally during that time. Myrrh’s main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 75% for Elite Material. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she restores 0.55 Morale per hour to another Operator in the Dormitory whose Moral is not full.

Myrrh is a decent Medic who can fulfill all your needs before the endgame. Upon deploying she immediately heals all allies for up to 160% of her ATK. This could be very effective because it allows you to deploy Myrrh when other operators are heavily injured without a fear that she will not be able to heal them in time. Both her skills enable her to heal addition target making of her a partial AOE Healer but the cooldown of skills is way too long for being considered helpful. Nevertheless, along with Gavial Myrrh can be your main Medic for a considerable amount of time until you recruit someone more powerful and of higher rarity.

Myrtle

Myrtle is a 4-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can heal allies…

Myrtle is a 4-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can heal allies. His first skill “Support β” prevents her from attacking but recovers 14 DP over the skill duration. On Elite 1 she learns “Healing Wings” that heals a nearby friendly unit’s HP equal to up to 50% of Myrtle’s ATK every second and recovers 16 DP over the skill duration. As long as the skill is activated Myrtle is unable to attack or block enemies. Her main Base skill increases the Order limit in the Trading post by 3 and reduces the Morale consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she can restore 0.15 Morale per hour to all Operators assigned to that Dormitory.

Myrtle is the only healing Vanguard currently and as such she is one of the most important units in the game. Her importance is not only because of her healing but because she is able to accumulate the highest amount of DP for a short time making her irreplaceable in missions where DP recovery is reduced. On Elite 2 she even learns talent that grants permanent HP recovery to all Vanguards on the battlefield equal to up to 28 HP per second. Myrtle is almost a necessary Operator who should be used regardless of her potential and rarity in almost any map after the early stages. Myrtle’s main weakness is the fact that she cannot attack and block after using skill meaning that she can’t be used to defend lines and must always be supported by Defender, Guard, or even Vanguard behind her. In short, if I had to choose what Operator is a must for any Squad my answer would be Myrtle.

Nearl

Nearl is a 5-Stars Single-target Defender who causes Physical Damage and who can heal allies…

Nearl is a 5-Stars Single-target Defender who causes Physical Damage and who can heal allies. Her first skill “First Aid” restores the HP of a nearby ally with less than 50% HP by up to 180% of Nearl’s ATK in the next attack. On Elite 1 she learns “First Aid Mode” that prevents her from attacking, increase her ATK by up to 80% and start to heal surrounding allies (1 cell away in all directions) for 40 seconds. Her main Base skill decreases the Morale consumed per hour of all Operators in the Control Center by 0.05. on Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she restores 0.5 Morale per hour to another Operator in the Dormitory and 0.25 Morale per hour to herself.

As a healing Defender Nearl’s HP pool and DEF are lower than normal Defenders so she shouldn’t be perceived as someone whose main role is to hold back powerful enemies because on the later stages she could be eliminated in few strikes. Nearl should be used as a healer who can hold the line until Operators around her need healing. Her talent increases the healing received for her and on Elite 2 for all allies on the battlefield which is especially useful if your Medics cannot provide you enough healing. Nearl is very similar to Gummy but with Nearl you don’t need to calculate when to use skill and her healing is somewhat stronger. Having Healing Defender can be helpful in missions with Medic restrictions but Nearl’s stats don’t justify the difference in development price for her and Gummy who can do everything as Nearl can do but with increased HP pool. All in all, I don’t suggest that you prioritize Nearl over Gummy and I propose that, if you want good Healing Defender, you wait for the recruitment of Saria.

Nightingale

Nightingale is a 6-Stars AOE Medic who can heal multiple allies simultaneously…

Nightingale is a 6-Stars AOE Medic who can heal multiple allies simultaneously. As a 6-Stars Operator Nightingale has 3 skills. Her first skill “Healing Up y” increases her ATK by up to 90% for 30 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Arts Shield” that grants that the next Heal will generate a shield on all affected target for 5 seconds (shield can absorb damage equal to up to 90% of her ATK Arts damage). This skill also increases the RES of all allies within range by up to 20. On Elite 2 she learns “Sanctuary” that increases her range by 1 cell in all directions, increases her ATK by up to 80%, increases RES of all allies within range by up to 150%, and grants them up to 25% Arts Dodge. Her main base skill restores 0.1 Morale per hour to all Operators assigned to Dormitory. On Elite 2 Nightingale restores 0.2 Morale per hour instead, to all Operators assigned to Dormitory.

Nightingale has 2 Talents. “White Fiend’s Protection” increases Res of all allies within the range by up to 17. On Elite 2 she learns “Fleeting Phantom” that allows her to summon a Phantom that cannot attack or block enemies but has 75 RES and 30% Physical Dodge and enemies are more likely to attack it (Phantom loses 3% Max HP per second). Phantom is not counted towards the Deployment limit and can be summoned on any tile at any time. Nightingale is the ultimate Arts Damage Protector whose presence on the battlefield negates even the most dangerous enemy casters. Her healing is not as potent as the healing of Single-target Medics but her third skill affects the very large area and can successfully heal almost anything. Nightingale falls off on the maps where enemies deliver Physical damage but she is an irreplaceable member of any team on the maps where there are enemies with Arts damage. Having an AOE Healer is a must on later stages and Nightingale will ease your gameplay significantly if you were lucky to recruit her but keep in mind that some lower rarity AOE Healers like Ptilopsis or even Perfumer can provide the same amount of healing as she on the maps where Arts damage is not dominant.

Nightmare

Nightmare is a 5-Stars Single-Target caster that causes Arts damage…

Nightmare is a 5-Stars Single-Target caster that causes Arts damage. Her first skill is “Drain Soul” that restores HP to at most 2 allies by up to 100% of Nightmare’s ATK. On Elite 1 she learns “Night Phantom” that places Nightmare debuff (Target’s Movement Speed is reduced by up to 60%; deals damage while ignoring target’s DEF and RES according to target’s movement distance in 10 seconds period. 1200 damage per cell) on at most 5 enemies within range. Her main Base skill increases Caster Operator’s Specialization training Speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the HR Office where she increases HR contacting speed by 40%.

Nightmare has a Talent that grants her different bonuses depending on the skill she uses. If she is using the first skill she gains up to 45% Physical and Arts Dodge while if she is using second skill her ATK is increased by up to 18%. Her first skill allows her to be used as support Medic placed on separated location without a fear to be easily killed because of sustenance provided by her talent and ability to heal herself with each attack. Her second skill significantly slows multiple targets within the range allowing her to act as Slow Supporter on maps with Supporter restrictions. Her second skill is very strange because its damage output depends on the number of grids covered by the affected enemy and when we know that this skill slows the target we come to the conclusion that the damage will be lower the stronger the Slow debuff is, which is … stupid to be honest. As a 5-Stars Single Target caster Nightmare will have difficulties in earning a place in the player’s Squad because of Amiya who provides better damage output and can be developed more easily for a lower price. However, if you are bored with Amiya or want to use Nightmare for any other reason be sure to maximize her skills as soon as possible because her usefulness depends on it.

Noir Corne

Noir Corne is a 2-Stars Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage and can block up to 3 targets…

Noir Corne is a 2-Stars Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage and can block up to 3 targets. As a 2-Stars Starter Operator Noir Corne has no skills. His main base skill increases productivity and capacity limit in the Factory by 10%. On Level 30 he can also be assigned to a Trading Post where he increases order acquisition efficiency by 10% and order limit by 1.

Noir Corne is an operator who can be recruited via Recruitment by fishing Start tag. On level 30 he gains Talent that increases his Max HP and DEF by 12 % allowing him to be used to hold enemies in some missions with higher-level requirements. However, that will be unlikely because it is easier to maximize Beagle (who is not much more expensive) for those purposes than to fish Starter tag in the Recruitment. Honestly, Noir Corne will most probably only be used in a Factory where he can actually help because he is one of the most harmless Operators in Rhodes Islands.

Orchid

Orchid is a 3-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows targets with each attack…

Orchid is a 3-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and slows targets with each attack. As a 3-Stars Operator Orchid has only 1 skill. “Swift Strike α” increases her ATK and ASP by up to 25%. Orchid’s main Base skill increases HR contacting speed in the HR office by 40%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she increases order acquisition efficiency by 25% and order limit by 1.

Orchid is a Slow Supporter who has a talent that increases her ASPD by up to 9. She basically can’t do anything else but slowing enemies because her base ATK is so low that all the buffs received from her skill and talent do not change the fact that she is not capable of delivering any serious harm to enemies. Her only strength is the fact that she can be maximized very cheaply becoming viable for some early missions where slow is required. All other Slow Supporters have some trademark that signifies them and to be honest investing in Orchid cannot be justified although she is so cheap. As some other Operators, Orchid’s main purpose will be to help productivity in Base.

Perfumer

Perfumer is a 4-Stars AOE medic who can heal multiple allies simultaneously…

Perfumer is a 4-Stars AOE medic who can heal multiple allies simultaneously. Her first skill “Healing Up β” increases ATK by up to 70%. On Elite 2 she learns “Fine Blending” that decreases her ASPD by 50 but increases her ATK by up to 250%. Her main Base skill increases the production of byproducts in the Workshop by 75% for Elite Materials. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she increases productivity by 25%.

Perfumer is an AOE Medic who has the Talent to heal all allies on the battlefield by up to 5.5% of her ATK per second. This talent is very useful by itself but it has a special efficiency in missions with Poisonous Haze. Perfumer’s second skill allows her to heal enormous amounts of health but its decreased ASPD may be a problem against enemies who can inflict serious damage in short intervals. Perfumer is a 4-Star Operator who can be successfully used in all segments of the game and even in the late-game when she doesn’t fall off because of her lower rarity. Her ability to heal 3 allies simultaneously with significantly higher power than other Medics can be matched only by Ptilopsis’ healing potential and therefore she should be considered as a Top Tier Operator.

Platinum

Platinum is a 5-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air units…

Platinum is a 5-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air units. Her first skill “ATK Up y” increases her ATK by up to 100% for 30 seconds. One Elite 1 she learns “Pegasian Sight” that increases her range by 2 cells in frontal direction, reduces her ASPD by 20, and increases her ATK by up to 100% for the unlimited duration once the skill is activated. Her main Base skill increases Sniper Operator’s Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases Sniper Operator’s Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 50% instead.

Platinum is a powerful Anti-Air Sniper whose damage increases depending on the duration of intervals between 2 attacks. The longer she waits the higher damage she will cause. Her second skill is the trademark that allows her to operate in a wider range than any other sniper with increased ATK that combined with talent may produce some unreal damage numbers. The only problem with this skill is because it has a very long cooldown and you will have to wait around a minute to activate it but once it is activated it will last until the end of a battle. Obviously, Platinum is ideal for Annihilation missions where she can be deployed early and benefit from her second skill for a long time. It must be said that Platinum without her skills is much weaker than other Snipers of the same or higher rarity and that could be a problem is some missions where you need to act quickly.

Plume

Plume is a 3-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and who generates DP when kills an enemy…

Plume is a 3-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and who generates DP when kills an enemy. As a 3-Stars Operator Plume has only one skill. “Swift Strike α” increases her ATK and ASPD by up to 25% for 25 seconds. Her main Base skill increases Vanguard operators’ Specialization training in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she increases Order acquisition efficiency by 10% and Order limit by 1.

Plume is Vanguard who can block only 1 target and whose ATK is permanently increased by up to 8%. Although her ATK is amazing for a 3-Stars Operator, blocking only 1 enemy could be very problematic in missions where large groups of mobs appear in the beginning because she will not be able to hold the line as some other Operators. Since she fully recovers Deployment Costs after retreating she could be used as a brief solution for holding the line against weak mobs to quickly accumulate additional DP and to retreat after that. Her skill is very weak even when maximized and it has a very long cooldown, so basically, she will not even use it before you retreat her. Plume is ideal for early missions where her incredible ATK can be used not only for accumulating DP but as an additional DPS source against melee units. However, after that Plume becomes obsolete in almost all situations and her only job will be to increase productivity in the Trading Post or to help other Vanguards learning their specializations.

Popukar

Popukar is a 3-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical damage against multiple opponents (equal to her block number)…

Popukar is a 3-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical damage against multiple opponents (equal to her block number). As a 3-Stars Operator, Popukar has only 1 skill. “ATK Up α” increases her ATK by up to 50% for 20 seconds. Her main Base skill increases productivity in Factory by 25% but decreases capacity limit by 12 and increases Morale consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she restores 0.4 Morale per hour to another Operator assigned to Dormitory and restores 0.2 Morale per hour for herself.

Popukar is an AOE Guard with permanently increased HP and ATK by up to 8%. AOE Guards are always very useful but Popukar is an AOE Guard of the lowest rarity and cannot be developed to Elite 2 therefore her Block will not be increased, so her damage potential will be 50% lower compared to other AOE Guards. Popukar should be used in the early stages where her ATK will be higher than ATK of AOE Guards of higher rarity and the same level (Savage and Estelle). However, Popukar usefulness ends as players enter mid-game and she will not be able to compete with other Guards. Popukar is gained via Recruitment by fishing Guard and AOE tags. if you don’t get viable AOE guard at the start it will help a lot if you recruit Popukar because AOE Guards are ideal for clearing large groups of mobs in certain missions.

Pramanix

Pramanix is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and places debuffs on enemies within range…

Pramanix is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who causes Arts damage and places debuffs on enemies within range. Her first skill “Echolocation” allows her to simultaneously attack 2 targets while decreasing ASPD of all enemies within range by up to 60 for 20 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Natural Deterrent” that decreases DEF by up to 60% and RES by up to 30% to all enemies within range for 25 seconds. Her main Base skill restores 0.5 Morale per hour to another Operator assigned to the Dormitory and restores 0.25 Morale per hour for herself. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Training Room where she increases Supporter Operator’s Specialization training speed by 50%.

Pramanix has the same Attack range as Slow Supporters but her deployment cost is significantly lower. Pramanix is a Debuff Supporter who has 2 Talents. “Weakening” places [Fragile] debuff on all enemies within range increasing their damage received by up to 133% if their health is below 40%. On Elite 2 she gains “The Bell Tolls Twice” that allows her to attack 2 targets simultaneously meaning that she becomes a partial Arts AOE damage dealer for a really low price. Before she is developed to Elite 2 she can use her first skill gaining the same effect and decreasing the attack speed of all nearby enemies. Her second skill significantly reduces the defensive capabilities of enemies within her range greatly increasing the damage output of allies who can attack them. On top of that Pramanix has very good defensive attributes herself allowing her to be placed on remote separate slot without a fear that she will be killed by enemy casters easily. However, her ATK is very low even when fully developed and her debuffs are not effective against large groups of week mobs who have low DEF and low RES. If you are lucky to recruit her she should be developed at all costs, because in the end-game there will be missions that will be cleared very easily if you have Pramanix ready for combat.

Projekt Red

Projekt Red is a 5-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical damage and has significantly reduced Redeployment Time…

Projekt Red is a 5-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical damage and has significantly reduced Redeployment Time. Her first skill “Execution Mode” increases her ATK by up to 80% and grants her up to 50% Physical and Arts Dodge after deployment. On Elite 1 she learns “Wolfpack” that immediately causes up to 250% of ATK Physical damage to all nearby enemies after deployment and Stuns affected target for up to 3 seconds. Her main Base skill decreases the Morale consumed per hour in the Control Center by 0.05 for all Operators. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Reception Room where she increases Clue search speed by 25%.

Projekt Red is a Fast-Redeployment Specialist who has a talent that increases her minimal damage with each by up to 33% of her ATK that can be very effective against High DEF targets. Both her skills allow her to quickly assassinate lone Casters and to disrupt the special skill of Elite Mobs and Bosses who would otherwise cause havoc in your formations. Be warned though that she is very vulnerable to Arts damage if she uses second skill and that she needs all levels she can get for successfully fulfilling her role. Unlike Gavel who relies on DEF, Projekt Red relies on her ATK to stops the flow of the enemy progression. The problem is that her Redeployment cost is far more expensive and she needs good Potential (at least 4) to be really effective. Nevertheless, Projekt Red is arguably the best Fast-Redeployment Operator in the game, and Doctors who know how to utilize her virtues will have a much easier job to clear some hard missions in the end-game.

Provence

Provence is a 5-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage with decreased Attack Range because of her increased ATK potential…

Provence is a 5-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage with decreased Attack Range because of her increased ATK potential. Her first skill “Wolf’s Eye” is passive and increases her ATK by up to 25% whenever the HP of the target falls by 20%. On Elite 1 she learns “Prey Seeker” that increases her ATK by up to 220% for 35 seconds but will not target enemies whose HP is above 80%. Her main Base skill increases HR contacting speed in the HR Office by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases HR contacting speed in the HR Office by 45% instead.

Provence is Close Range Sniper who has a 20% chance (50% if attacking an enemy in the frontal grid) to increase the ATK of the current attack to up to 190%. This talent combined with her second skill can provide some amazing damage numbers when all conditions are met. However, limitations of her skills and her limited effectiveness against Air Targets same as her reduced Attack Range makes her less desirable than some other Snipers. If you need a good Physical Damage Dealer who will carry your front line defenses against tough opponents, Provence is the right Operator for you, but if you want classical Sniper who will not depend on the situation and who will efficiently protect you against Aerial threats you should pick someone else.

Ptilopsis

Ptilopsis is a 5-Stars AOE Medic who heals 3 allies simultaneously…

Ptilopsis is a 5-Stars AOE Medic who heals 3 allies simultaneously. Her first skill “Healing Up y” increases her ATK by up to 90 for 30 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Enkephalin” that expands her range by 1 cell in frontal direction and reduces her Attack interval by up to 2.1. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 15%. On Elite 2 she increases productivity in the Factory by 25% instead.

Ptilopses is AOE Medic who increases the SP recovery of all allies by up to 0.3 per second and whose only purpose is to prevent allies from dying. Her healing potential is second to none and only Nightingale can be more useful when dealing with Arts-based enemies. Her second skill allows her to heal allies in increased range with significantly increased ASPD and although this skill provides unparalleled healing it has a very long cooldown and sometimes will not be ready when needed. Nevertheless, Ptilopsis is everyone’s choice and safest solution when we talk about the Squad’s surviving capabilities.

Rangers

Rangers is a 2-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air targets…

Rangers is a 2-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air targets. As a 2-Stars Operator, he has no active skills. His main Base skill increases HR contacting speed in the HR Office by 20%. On level 30 he can also be assigned to the Workshop where he increases the production rate of byproducts by 50% for all materials.

Rangers is Starter Anti-Sniper whose ATK is increased by 50% against Aerial targets. This allows him to quickly eliminate all aerial threats in early missions but at the same time, his normal attacks are almost harmless against other targets and prevent him from having any serious Role in the game. Rangers should only be used in “Aerial Threat” missions (CA-1, CA-2, and even CA-3) and after that, he should remain in Base to help the Workshop production. Developing Rangers is extremely cheap, and he should be leveled to Level 30 if nothing than to just be another Operator to process materials.

Rope

Rope is a 4-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical damage and pulls enemies towards her…

Rope is a 4-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical damage and pulls enemies towards her. Her first skill “Hook Shot” increases the power of the next attack to up to 190% of ATK Physical damage and drags the target towards Rope (slightly–significantly depending on skill level). On Elite 1 she learns “Double Hook” that increases the power of the next attack to up to 225% of ATK Physical damage against 2 targets and pulls both targets towards Rope (slightly–significantly depending on skill level) increasing her range by 2 cells in frontal direction. Her main Base skill increases the Clue Search speed in the Reception Room by 20%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she increases the Order Limit by 3 and reduces Morale consumed per hour by 0.25.

Rope is a Pulling Specialist who permanently gains up to 34% Physical Dodge allowing her to be placed alone on separate slots where she can withstand significantly more damage without healing. Her second skill has increased attack range and can pull up to 2 targets which can be efficient on some maps where it is not clever to place Puller next to the pit. Rope can do almost anything you want from a Puller Specialist but she cannot match Cliffheart’s general potential. At this moment Pullers are not needed as Pushers but having 1 Puller ready for the job is always smart. If you haven’t recruited Cliffheart, Rope can fulfill the role just fine but I don’t suggest that you spend resources on her until it is necessary.

Saria

Saria is a 6-Stars Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage and can heal allies with skills…

Saria is a 6-Stars Single-Target Defender who causes Physical damage and can heal allies with skills. As a 6-Stars Operator, Saria has 3 skills.

“First Aid” is her first skill and it restores the HP of the nearby ally with less than 50% by 180% of the Saria’s ATK in the next attack. On Elite 1 she learns “Medicine Dispensing” that restores HP of all allies in the increased range (1 cell in all directions) by up to 140% of Saria’s ATK. On Elite 2 she learns “Calcification” that restores HP of all nearby allies within increased range (2 cells in all directions) by up to 3% of Saria’s ATK each second for 30 seconds, increases the Arts damage taken by nearby enemies by up to 55% and reduces their Movement Speed by 60%. Her main Base skill increases Slue Search speed in the Reception Room by 10%. On Elite 2 she skill increases Slue Search speed in the Reception Room by 10% and provides bigger chances of obtaining clues of Rhine Lab (Clue 1).

Saria has 2 talents. “Rhine Charged Suit” increases ATK and DEF by up to 5% for every 20 seconds Saria is deployed, stacking up to 5 times. On Elite 2 she gains “Refreshment” that allows her to restore 1 extra Skill Point to an ally whenever she heals that ally. Saria is a Top Tier Healing Defender whose attributes are not much lower than attributes of high rarity normal Defenders and whose healing can replace the healing of fully developed Medic. Her second skill even provides healing that is better than the healing of most of Medics while her third skill weakens and slows targets within increased range making of Saria Defender, Supporter, and Medic at the same time. Keep in mind that her talent that restores SP to allies cannot restore SP to an ally who is on full health. This can be problematic if you expect to speed up skills of Operators placed behind her who practically does not receive any damage and their skills are needed at a given moment. Saria’s only true weakness is a lack of any DEF boost which indicates that she cannot survive the attacks of the most powerful Mobs and Bosses in the endgame. Besides that, Saria doesn’t have any real weaknesses and she will be a universal Defender solution for most maps if you are lucky to recruit her.

Savage

Savage is a 5-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical damage to multiple targets equal to the number of her Block amount…

Savage is a 5-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical damage to multiple targets equal to the number of her Block amount. Her first skill “Power Strike β” increases the ATK of the next attack to up to 230%. On Elite 1 she learns “Precise Blast” that causes up to 400% of ATK Physical damage to at most 5 enemies within three grids ahead. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 70% for Skill Summaries. On Elite she can also be assigned to the Dormitory where she restores 0.35 Morale per hour to another Operator in the Dormitory and for herself.

Savage is an AOE guard whose ATK and DEF are permanently increased by up to 10% if 2 or more Ranged grids are adjacent to Savage. This practically means that she needs careful deployment for reaching her full potential which cannot be done in all maps. Her second skill is very powerful but the long cooldown can be annoying and does not allow her to be efficient as you would like. Savage has slightly lower stats compared to other guards but her ability to cause AOE damage as a Guard will grant her a certain spot in your squad if you don’t have someone better (Specter). AOE Guards shines when they are fully developed on Elite 2 because their Block is increased and therefore their damage. I always prefer AOE Guard over 1vs1 Guard and I suggest that you do the same if you have any doubt who you should use. Obviously, Savage cannot replace Top Tier Guards like Ch’en or Silver Ash but she could replace almost everyone else.

Scavenger

Scavenger is a 4-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block up to 2 enemies…

Scavenger is a 4-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block up to 2 enemies. Her first skill “Charge Up β” instantly grants 9 Deployment Points. On Elite 1 she learns “Command-Attack” that immediately grants her 11 Deployment Point and increases her ATK by up to 70%. Her main Base skill decreases the Morale consumed per hour in the Control Center by 0.05. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she increases the capacity limit by 8 and reduces Morale consumed per hour by 0.25.

Scavenger is Vanguard whose ATK and DEF are permanently increased by up to 13% as long as she is not adjacent to any ally. Unlike her counterpart Courier, Scavenger more relies on the ATK than on the DEF. She is squishier but her ATK can be sufficient for any threat in the early to early-mid game. Unfortunately, she cannot generate enough DP nor her stats can satisfy the end-game needs to justify investment in her promotion on Elite 2. In short, Scavenger is a direct upgrade of Vanilla and should be developed only on Elite 1, level 45 at most.

Schwarz

Schwarz is a 6-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes increased Physical damage in a shorter Attack range…

Schwarz is a 6-Stars Single-Target Sniper who causes increased Physical damage in a shorter Attack range. As a 6-Stars Operator Schwarz has 3 active skills. “Charged Shot” increases the damage of the next attack by up to 220% and improves the chance of triggering Schwarz’s talent (has a 20% chance to increase the current damage to up to 160% and reduces the target’s DEF by up to 20% for 5 seconds) to 80%. On Elite 1, she learns “Sharp Eye” that increases her ATK by up to 130% for up to 40 seconds improving the chance of triggering talent to 50%. On Elite 2, she learns “Final tactics” that change her attack range (4 cells in front of her), slightly reduces her ASPD and increases her ATK by up to 180% for up to 25 seconds improving the chance of triggering talent to 100%. Her main base skill restores 0.55 Morale per hour to another Operator assigned to the Dormitory and if the target is Ceylon she increases additional 0.45 Morale per hour. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Training Room where she increases Sniper Operators’ Specialization training speed by 60%.

Schwarz is one of the most powerful Physical damage dealers in the game. Besides talent that grants her critical hit chance, she has also a talent that permanently increases the ATK of all Snipers on the battlefield by up to 10% if there are 1 or more Snipers deployed along with Schwarz. She has reduced Attack Range compared to other Snipers, but her physical damage potential combined with DEF decrease from her talent allows her to deliver insane damage numbers against even the toughest opponents. Her third skill increases the critical chance to 100% but it narrows her Attack Range into a straight line. If placed properly to carry the spot where enemies will hit the hardest her usefulness is unparalleled. The only problem with Schwarz is her high DP cost and somewhat weaker efficiency against Air units or larger groups of Mobs. However, her permanent buff for Snipers encourages the deployment of another Sniper (Anti-Air or AOE depending on the situation) who will hide her weaknesses. Schwarz is an ultimate damage dealer who will be most welcomed in your squad whenever you get lucky to recruit her.

Shaw

Shaw is a 4-Stars AOE Specialist who causes Physical damage against multiple targets equal to her Block number and who can push targets by her skills…

Shaw is a 4-Stars AOE Specialist who causes Physical damage against multiple targets equal to her Block number and who can push targets by her skills. Her first skill “Steam Pump” pushes the target (slightly-greatly depending on the skill level) forward dealing up to 150% of ATK Physical damage. On Elite 1 she learns “High-Pressure Water Cannon” that immediately pushes all enemies in the two frontal grids (slightly-greatly depending on the skill level) towards the attack direction, dealing up to 300$ of ATK Physical damage to all of them. Her main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 70% for Building Materials. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to a Power Plant where she increases the Drone recovery rate by 15%.

Shaw is a Pusher Specialist who has a Talent that permanently increases her RES by up to 15%making her a capable Tank against Arts damage. She can be placed on ranged grids as well which can be very useful in some maps where you lack enough melee grids for proper formation and where you can push the target into Ambis only from ranged grids. When fully developed Shaw ‘s stats allow her to be very tough and to be used as semi Defender with AOE damage. Her pushing abilities are very effective although its Push force is not the highest so she cannot push the largest targets in the end-game as FEater can. Other than that Shaw can replace FEater in every segment and she can be even better when fighting against casters. You should not hesitate to develop Shaw as soon as you recruit her, because her potential in certain missions justifies all resources invested.

Shining

Shining is a 6-Stars Single Target Medic who heals her allies…

Shining is a 6-Stars Single Target Medic who heals her allies. As a 6-Stars Operator Shining has 3 active skills. “Creed” increases her ASPD by up to 20 and her ATK by up to 80% for 20 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Auto-Protect” that generates Shield on its target for up to 3 seconds during the next heal. The shield can absorb damage (absorbs all types of damage: Arts, Physical, and True) equal to 50% of Shining’s ATK and increases the target’s DEF by up to 50%. On Elite 2 she learns “Creed Field” that increases her ATK by up to 50% for 60 seconds and increases the DEF of all allies within range by up to 100%! Her main Base skill restores 0.55 Morale per hour to another operator in the Dormitory. On Elite 2, she restores 0.75 Moral per hour instead.

Shining is the best Single-Target Medic in the game who permanently increases the DEF of all allies within the range by up to 65. When she earns Elite 2 she also permanently increases her ASPD by up to 13. DEF boost from her talent combined with the DEF boost from her third skill allows her and all allies within range to survive even the most powerful Physical attacks that currently exist in the game. This is especially effective with DPS Defenders and Healing Defenders who cannot survive end-game Elite Mobs without DEF buff. The usefulness of Shining shrinks drastically when she protects the team against Arts damage because her utility is useless against it and her Single-Target healing becomes insufficient. Besides that, her other weakness is her Deployment cost that is slightly higher compared to other Medics. Nevertheless, Shining offers a lot more than any other Single-target Medic but to be fully effective she must be developed to Elite 2 as soon as possible meaning that you will need to spend a lot after her recruitment.

Shirayuki

Shirayuki is a 4-Stars AOE Sniper who causes Physical damage with splash attacks…

Shirayuki is a 4-Stars AOE Sniper who causes Physical damage with splash attacks. Her first skill “Shuriken” increases her range by 2 grids in frontal directions for 25 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Fatal Shuriken” that slows the target’s Movement Speed by up to 35% for a brief period of time and causes Arts Damage per second equal to up to 80% of her ATK for 25 seconds. Her main Base skill increases Clue Search speed in the Reception room by 20%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Factory where she increases the productivity of Battle Record formulas by 30%.

Shirayuki is an AOE sniper with increased Attack range and reduced Attack Speed. She has a talent that slightly decreases her ASPD even further but increases her ATK by 20%. The effective range of her first skill allows her to target enemies far away which can be especially effective in some Annihilation missions where a large number of enemies deploy and wait to move thinking that they are safe. Her second skill is even more effective because it allows her to deliver slowing Arts damage that depends on her ATK which is already very high and can melt High DEF enemies who are usually almost immune to Sniper’s Physical damage. All this is probably the reason for Shirayuki’s DP cost that is ridiculously high and often prevents Doctors from using her in certain missions. Keep in mind that Shiryuki does not prioritize flying units and since her Attack Speed is very slow she isn’t a Sniper who guarantees you an Air supremacy. Nevertheless, Shirayuki is a versatile AOE Operator whose development cost is not very high and who can successfully replace Casters or Slow Supporters when needed, by using her second skill.

Siege

Siege is a 6-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block up to 2 enemies…

Siege is a 6-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block up to 2 enemies. As a 6-Stars Operator, she has 3 skills. “Charge y” instantly grants 12 Deployment Points. On Elite 1 she learns “Aerial Hammer” that deals up to 340% of ATK Physical damage to all nearby enemies in the next attack and grants 3 Deployments Points. On Elite 2 she learns “Skull Breaker” that increases her Attack Interval by 1, increases her ATK by up to 380% for up to 25 seconds, and grants her 40% chance to Stun the targets for up to 1.5 seconds. Her main Base skill restores 0.15 Morale per hour to all Operators in the Dormitory. On Elite 2 she restores 0.2 Morale per hour instead of all Operators in the Dormitory.

Siege has 2 Talents. “King of Beasts” increases ATK and DEF of all Vanguard Operators by up to 10% while “Crushing” grants him 1 Skill point whenever an enemy dies in grids adjacent to him. Siege’s stats are amazing and his attacking and defensive potential is better than some Guard Operators of higher rarity. Since Vanguard’s role is to accumulate DP, Siege should always use his second skill that costs very low, causes significant AOE damage, and grants 3 DP instantly. This skill is Siege’s trademark and by spamming it she can generate a large number of Deployment Points while delivering serious damage at the same time. Her third skill transforms her into a Guard with crowd control ability but this skill does not generate DP therefore it is highly unlikely that you will use it. Siege’s DP price is significantly higher than other Vanguards and it may be a problem to deploy her immediately in some missions. Having Siege in your squad is ideal for missions where you need multiple Vanguards, although she can be used as a solo Vanguard as well. Keep in mind that for reaching her full potential she doesn’t need to be fully developed because she needs only the second skill to successfully fulfill her role.

Silence

Silence is a 5-Stars Single-target Medic who heals her allies…

Silence is a 5-Stars Single-target Medic who heals her allies. Her first skill “Healing Up y” increases her ATK by up to 90% for 30 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Medical Drone” that allows her to summon Medical Drone that provides AOE healing to all adjacent targets anywhere on the map. The Drone costs a low amount of DP, does not count towards Deployment Limit, and self-destructs after 10 seconds of healing. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 15%. On Elite she increases productivity in the Factory by 25% instead.

Silence is decent Single-Target medic who also increases ASPD of al deployed Medics by up to 14. She seems as a simple-forward medic who can significantly increase her healing with first skill but her true value lies in the second skill that allows her to summon Medical Drones. This skill basically makes her placement irrelevant because her Drones can be summoned anywhere on the map to provide healing when it is most necessary. This is especially effective on missions where you need to guard 2 or more different paths and you cannot provide healing for defenders in all paths. By summoning Drones you can easily heal separated Operator/s without needing to deploy 2 Medics. Silence can be really useful sometimes and developing her will pay off sooner or later

Silver Ash

Silver Ash is a 6-Stars Guard Operator who causes Physical damage in increased range and whose attacks are both AOE and single target depending on skill

Silver Ash is a 6-Stars Guard Operator who causes Physical damage in increased range and whose attacks are both AOE and single target depending on skill. As a 6-Stars Operator Silver Ash has 3 skills. “Power Strike y” increases the ATK of the next attack by up to 290%. On Elite 1 he learns “Rules of Survival” that reduces his range by cell, increases his DEF by 100%, and restores HP% up to 6% of Max HP per second (Silver Ash can switch between normal mode and defensive mode). On Elite 2 he learns “Truesilver Slash” that increases his range in all directions by 1 cell, reduces his DEF by 70%, increases his ATK by up to 200% for 30 seconds, and allows him to simultaneously attacks at most 6 targets (regarded as a melee attack). His main Base skill increases order acquisition efficiency in the Trading post by 15% and the Order limit by 1. On Elite 2 he increases order acquisition efficiency in the Trading post by 20% and Order limit by 3, instead.

Silver Ash is a Ranged Guard with increased Attack Range whose range attacks cause 80% of ATK Physical damage. He has a talent that increases the ATK of all allies by up to 12% and on Elite 2 he can reveal all invisible targets within range. His second skill reduces his range but allows him to be a semi-Defender who can withstand almost any incoming damage and can block up to 2 targets. His third skill is what makes him special because it significantly increases his range allowing him to attack up to 6 targets at the same time without reducing the power of his ranged attacks. This skill is probably the most powerful skill in the game which combined with his ability to reveal Invisible targets makes him ready for literally everything. The true power of Silver Ash begins on Elite 2 so it is of utmost importance that you maximize him as soon as possible if you want to enjoy his undoubted overpower. The only thing that could be mentioned as his weakness is the very long cooldown of his third skill but when we know that only his presence significantly improves the overall damage output of the entire squad and that his third skill will literally obliterate everything in Silver Ash’s vicinity we come to the conclusion that he should be nerfed (don’t hate me for this).

Skadi

Skadi is a 6-Stars Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage and can block only 1 target…

Skadi is a 6-Stars Single-Target Guard that causes Physical damage and can block only 1 target. As a 6-Stars Operator, Skadi has 3 skills. “Swift Strike y” increases her ATK by up to 45% and ASPD by up to 45. On Elite 1 she learns “Wave Strike” that increases her ATK by up to 170% for up to 30 seconds after deployment. On Elite 2 she learns “Tidal Elegy” that increases her ATK, DEF, and Max HP by up to 130%. Her main Base skill increases self Morale recovered in the Dormitory by 0.7 per hour. On Elite 2 he increases self Morale recovered in the Dormitory by 1 per hour.

Skadi is a Duelist Guard who increases ATK of “Abyssal Hunters” Operators by up to 16%. On Elite 2 his Redeployment rate is reduced by 10 seconds. Duelist Guard’s role is to challenge dangerous targets and quickly dispose of them if possible. Duelist Guard is often sent on the separate slot to draw the attention from the holding line and to buy time for the squad to regroup and prepare if necessary. There are several Dualist Guards in the game with Melantha as a starting trademark for the class but no one can fulfill that role like Skadi can do. Her purpose is to deploy kill and retreat and like that she is very similar to Fast Redeployment Operators like Projekt Red with one difference – Skadi can actually kill anyone. Her second skill doubles her already incredible damage output 30 seconds after deployment which is ideal for killing Bosses but it also increases the redeployment price significantly. Skadi’s third skill makes her self-sufficient even on the hardest maps allowing her to be deployed and left alone to kill one enemy after another. The real problem with Skadi is because Duelist Guards are not very versatile and they are needed on specific maps so some other high rarity Guards who can block more enemies and who can cause AOE damage will have priority over them almost always.

Skyfire

Skyfire is a 5-Stars AOE Caster that causes Arts damage against multiple targets with splash attacks…

Skyfire is a 5-Stars AOE Caster that causes Arts damage against multiple targets with splash attacks. Her first skill “ATK Up y” increases her ATK by up to 100% for 30 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Fire of Haven” that increases the Interval of her attacks by 1.7, transforms her normal attacks into summoning of Meteorites that fall slowly from the Sky, causing up to 240% of ATK Arts damage to enemies in the large range and stunning all affected targets for up to 1 second. Her main Base skill increases Caster Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases Caster Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 50% instead.

Skyfire is an AOE caster that increases the Arts damage received of all blocked enemies within the range. Both her skills have a relatively low cooldown and can be used quite often but her second skill, unfortunately, offers lower damage than her first skill. It can indeed stun a large number of enemies but its damage potential is just too low to be considered as viable AOE option. 4-Stars Gitano offers higher damage and she is cheaper for developing which leads us to the question of why to spend resources on Skyfire in the first place. Skyfire is the best when she is equipped with the first skill and when a lot of blocked enemies are within her range – in that situation she can offer consistent AOE Arts damage that will definitely help you. I do not suggest that you invest in Skyfire too much if that is not absolutely necessary but that doesn’t mean that Skyfire is a bad operator – she is just not in my liking.

Sora

Sora is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who does not attack but continuously restores the HP of all allies within range (the HP restored per second is equal to 10% of Sora’s ATK)

Sora is a 5-Stars Single-Target Supporter who does not attack but continuously restores the HP of all allies within range (the HP restored per second is equal to 10% of Sora’s ATK). Her first skill “Hymn of Respite” expands her range by 1 cell in all direction and put all enemies to Sleep (Stun and Invincible) for 7 seconds increasing the effect of her initial healing by 100%. On Elite 1 she learns “Hymn of Battle” that increases the ATK of all allies 1 cell away by up to 100% of Sora’s ATK. Her main Base skill restores 0.15 Morale per hour to all Operators in the Dormitory. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she increases order acquisition efficiency by 30%.

Sora is a Supporter whose Talent grants her 50 chance to immediately restore Skill Point by up to 50% of Max Skill Points when the skill ends allowing her to use her skills more often than any other Operator. This basically means that she significantly increases the ATK of nearby allies almost all the time with her second skill or that she can stop enemy progress and heal defending formation whenever she wants with her first skill. Sora’s deployment cost is only 7 DP when fully developed allowing her to be deployed at any time depending on the situation. Her effective range is small and affects only grids around her that can be problematic on some maps if you want to get most out of her. Keep in mind that Sora cannot attack and that she is practically a Healer who can buff allies for the low deployment cost. Sora is a very interesting Operator whose value is far greater than it seems at the first glance, so I suggest that you develop her as soon as you recruit her because she may be the answer when you think that you can do nothing

Specter

Specter is a 5-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical damage against multiple targets equal to her Block number…

Specter is a 5-Stars AOE Guard who causes Physical damage against multiple targets equal to her Block number. Her first skill ”ATK Up y”, increases her ATK by up to 100% for 30 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Bone Fracture” that prevents her from dying for up to 15 seconds increasing her ATK by up to 160% during the skill duration (after the skill duration Specter is stunned for 10 seconds being unable to attack and block). Her main Base skill increases self Morale recovered in the Dormitory by 0.7 per hour. On Elite 2 she increases self Morale recovered in the Dormitory by 0.85 per hour instead.

Specter is an AOE Guard with amazing damage potential who permanently increases her Max HP by up to 12% and on Elite 2 restores HP by up to 2.5% of Max HP per second becoming self-sufficient in most of the situations. Specter needs to be developed on Elite 2 as soon as possible not only because of self-restoring but because her Block amount will increase and therefore her overall damage output. Her first skill increases her damage potential significantly but the second skill is what makes her special because she becomes immortal and her damage output rises insanely allowing her to single-handedly eliminate even the deadliest groups of enemies. She is indeed stunned for 10 seconds after using second skill but in hands of seasoned Doctor that will not be much of the problem. Specter is the best AOE Guard in the game currently and therefore a Top Tier Operator who will find her place in every Squad.

Spot

Spot is a 3-Stars Single-Target Defender who heals his allies with skills…

Spot is a 3-Stars Single-Target Defender who heals his allies with skills. As a 3-Stars Operator Spot has only 1 skill. “Secondary Healing Mode” increases his ATK by up to 45% and starts healing surrounding allies for 25 seconds. During the skill duration, Spot cannot attack or block. His main Base skill increases the production rate of byproducts in the Workshop by 50% for any material. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to the Factory where he increases Precious Metal formula related productivity by 30%.

Spot is a Healing Defender who provides up to 25% Physical Dodge for 3 seconds to the ally who received healing by him. He has really low Defensive Stats for a Defender and cannot hold the line against any more dangerous opponents. His only purpose is to be supporting Healing Operator because when he uses his skill he cannot block or attack so he cannot hold the line against even the easiest opponents during the skill duration. The cost of his development is very cheap so he can be used as a secondary Healing Defender until you recruit Gummy or someone better in the early missions. Full development of Spot cannot be justified and he should be improved to Elite 1 Level 30 at most because he will contribute just on the start and in the early mid-game.

Steward

Steward is a 3-Stars Single-Target Caster who causes Arts damage…

Steward is a 3-Stars Single-Target Caster who causes Arts damage. As a 3-Stars Operator Steward has only 1 skill. “Power Strike α” increases the ATK of his next attack to up to 190%. His main Base skill increases the Order limit in the Trading Post by 3 and reduces the Morale consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1 he can also be assigned to the Factory where he increases productivity by 25%.

Steward is a Single-Target caster with permanently increased ATK by up to 6% who always attack enemies with the Highest DEF first. His skill is very good for a 3-Stars Operator and allows him to inflict some serious damage. Steward’s talent to prioritize targets with the Highest DEF makes him extremely useful through the early and mid-game because it grants that he will focus on most dangerous targets even when there are a lot of other enemies. However, since Amiya is available to all and will be developed easily as you progress through the game, Steward’s values are often overlooked. All in all, Steward is a very useful Operator who can easily help you when you need additional Arts damage and he should be maximized if possible because the price of his development is much lower than his usefulness.

Sussurro

Sussurro is a 4-Stars Single-Target Medic who heals her allies…

Sussurro is a 4-Stars Single-Target Medic who heals her allies. Her first skill “Healing Up β” increases her ATK by up to 70% for 25 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Deep Healing” that increases her ATK by up to 100% and her ASPD by up to 100 for up to 30 seconds (skill can be used twice per battle at most). Her main Base skill increases Medic Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Workshop where she increases the production rate of byproducts by 80% for Elite Materials.

Sussurro is a decent Single-Target healer whose healing has increased effects by up to 23% on all Operators who cost less than 11 DP to deploy. This practically means that Sussurro is specialized for healing Vanguards and Specialists. Her second skill is probably the best healing Single-Target skill in the game but it can be used only twice per battle which could be a problem in some long battles like Annihilation for example. Sussurro is vulnerable to ranged attacks because her defensive capabilities practically don’t exist and she is squishier than most of the Operators in the game. Sussurro can be very useful in some missions where you need to use multiple Vanguards but she will be replaced as soon as you recruit Medic of higher rarity or AOE Medic

Swire

Swire is a 5-Stars Single-target Guard who causes Physical damage in slightly increased range and can buff surrounding allies with her skills…

Swire is a 5-Stars Single-target Guard who causes Physical damage in slightly increased range and can buff surrounding allies with her skills. Her first skill is “Command and Dispatch” that increases the range of the Talent (Swire increases the attack of surrounding allies by up to 12% as long as she is deployed) and multiplies its effectiveness by 2. On Elite 1, she learns ”Cooperative Combat” that increases her ATK by up to 80% and multiplies the effectiveness of the talent by up to 3 times. Her main Base skill increases all Trading Posts’ order efficiency in the Control Center by 7%. On Elite 2 she can also be assigned to the Training Room where she increases Operators’ Specialization training speed by 25%.

Swire is a Single-Target Guard who can attack targets 2 cells away and can block 2 enemies. Her Defensive capabilities are significantly boosted and she is capable to withstand almost anything that comes in her way. Her attack is low but with second skill it becomes good enough to deal with normal mobs in the end-game. The purpose of Swire is to buff surrounding Allies with increased ATK while helping to hold the line. She can buff only melee allies which could be a problem on some maps where you will not be able to deploy a proper formation that would actually benefit from Swire. Both of her skills improve the effectiveness of her Talent that buffs allies but the duration of skills and its cooldown must be improved to really benefit the player. Investing in a support skill is always annoying especially if you need to spend a lot of resources for a buff that cannot affect Ranged characters and cannot be used always. However, once you have done it you will have a perfectly capable Guard Support who will ease your gameplay significantly. Swire is often underestimated because her contribution cannot be seen immediately and you must be patient to see the fruits of her labor.

Texas

Texas is a 5-Stars Single-target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block 2 enemies…

Texas is a 5-Stars Single-target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block 2 enemies. Her first skill “Charge y” instantly grants 12 Deployment points. On Elite 1 she learns “Sword Rain” causes up to 170% of ATK Arts damage to all nearby enemies (2 cells in all directions) twice and Stuns affected targets for up to 3 seconds. It also generates immediately generates 12 DP. Her main Base skill increases the Morale consumed per hour by 0.3 and order acquisition efficiency by 65% as long as she stationed in the Trading Post with Lappland.

On Elite she reduces the Moral consumed per hour in the Trading Post by 0.3 as long as Exusiai is stationed with her.

Texas is a Vanguard who has a talent that grants extra DP (2 on Elite 2) as long as she is in the squad. Her attacking capabilities are amazing for a Vanguard and she can easily dispose of normal mobs on even the hardest difficulty. That combined with the fact that she can block 2 enemies allows her to be a safe Vanguard solution for the majority of maps. Her second skill inflicts decent AOE Arts damage enabling her to successfully operate against more dangerous opponents later on and to support her team in more than one way. She cannot accumulate the amount of DP Myrtle can but she can accumulate more than enough. Her only weakness is the fact that she cannot tank Elite Mobs or Bosses later on, because her HP Pool and Defense are mediocre but in the end, you don’t expect that your Vanguard will do the Defenders’ job. Texas will be most welcomed whenever she is recruited and she will definitely see a lot of battles.

Vanilla

Vanilla is a 3-Stars Single-target Vanguard who causes Physical Damage and can block 2 enemies…

Vanilla is a 3-Stars Single-target Vanguard who causes Physical Damage and can block 2 enemies. As a 3-Stars Operator, Vanilla has only 1 skill. “Command-Reinforcement” immediately grants 6 DP and increases her ATK by up to 35%. Her main Base skill increases productivity in the Factory by 25%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned to the Trading Post where she increases Order acquisition efficiency by 20%.

Vanilla is a Vanguard with permanently increased ATK by up to 8%. She can be used successfully in early missions because of her increased DPS potential and the fact that she can block 2 enemies but at the same time, she is a Vanguard who accumulates the least DP of all other Vanguards. Her squishiness will already be a problem in the mid-game and you will want to replace her even then. All in all, Vanilla is a Vanguard who is prone to dying quickly and who cannot satisfy your DP needs in most of the maps, therefore, it is best to leave her in the base where she can actually help.

Vermeil

Vermeil is a 4-Stars Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air targets…

Vermeil is a 4-Stars Sniper who causes Physical damage and prioritizes Air targets. She is a primary single-target Operator but she can be AOE based when using the skill. Her first skill is “ATK Up β” which increases her ATK by up to 80% for 25 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Double Shot” that increases her ATK by up to 45% allowing her every attack to hit an additional target. Her main Base skill increases capacity limit in the Factory by 8 and reduces Morale consumed per hour by 0.25. On Elite 1 she increases the productivity in the Factory by 2% for every +1 increase in Capacity Limit provided by any Operators assigned to that Factory.

Vermeil is an Anti-Air Sniper who has increased Skill Point Recovery Rate, by up to 0.13 per second. That allows her to use her skills more often. Her second skill is very powerful if there are multiple enemies within range and practically doubles Vermeil’s damage output in those situations. Vermeil is vulnerable to almost any attack because her defensive capabilities practically don’t exist. Also, Vermeil will have difficulties in dealing with High DEF targets because her base ATK is low without the first skill. Vermeil is an ideal solution on maps with a lot of weak enemies where her “Double Shot” will be enough to clear all incoming mobs very quickly but aside from that she is an average Operator, to be honest.

Vigna

Vigna is a 4-Stars Single-target vanguard who causes Physical damage, blocks only 1 enemy, and generate DP after killing an enemy…

Vigna is a 4-Stars Single-target vanguard who causes Physical damage, blocks only 1 enemy, and generate DP after killing an enemy. Her first skill “ATK Up β” increases her ATK by up to 80% for 25 seconds. On Elite 1 she learns “Hammer-On” that increases her Attack Interval by 0.5 but also increases her ATK by up to 200% for up to 30 seconds. Her main Base skill increases battle Formula related productivity in the Factory by 30%. On Elite 1 she can also be assigned in the Training Room where she increases Vanguard Operators’ Specialization training speed by 50%.

Vigna is a Vanguard who has a 10% chance to increase the current damage of the attack by up to 110% (chance is increased to 30% when her skill is active). As a DPS Vanguard who accumulates DP with every kill, Vigna is capable of delivering the highest damage with her second skill compared to all other Vanguards. She is more than capable of disposing of initial threats on every map just to retreat for a full DP refund after she accumulates enough DP for other more powerful Operators. It is true that Vigna can block only 1 enemy but she kills enemies so fast that often she can deal with groups of 3-4 weak mobs all alone. On top of that, Vigna’s defensive capabilities allow her to withstand an enormous amount of damage before she is forced to retreat. Opening battles with Vigna and Myrtle together will grant you that you will accumulate enough DP for the entire set-up before the ending of the first minute. In the end-game, Vigna falls off a bit but her accumulating potential justifies all resources invested in her so freely develop her to Elite 2 without hesitation.

Vulcan

Vulcan is a 5-Stars Defender who causes Physical damage and who cannot receive healing from the allies…

Vulcan is a 5-Stars Defender who causes Physical damage and who cannot receive healing from the allies. She is basically Single-target Operator but she can be AOE based when using the second skill. Her first skill “Guardian Mode” increases the Block number by 1, increases DEF by up to 120%, and restores HP by up to 5% of Max HP per second for 30 seconds. On Elite 1, she learns “Combat Mode” that decreases the Block number by 1, increases Attack Interval by 0.4, increases ATK by up to 150%, restores HP by 10% of Max HP when attacking and attacks multiple targets equal to her Block number, hitting all targets within range. Her main Base skill decreases productivity in the Factory by 5%, increases capacity limit by 16, and reduces the Morale consumed per hour by 0.15. On Elite 2 she increases capacity limit by 18 and reduces the Morale consumed per hour by 0.25% instead.

Vulcan is a self-sufficient Defender because of his talent that restores HP up to 5% of Max HP per second and grants him up to 30% Physical Melee Dodge when the skill is activated. She has ridiculously high Health Pool and her ATK is higher than ATK of the majority of DPS Guards but her DEF is lower compared to other high rarity Defenders making her vulnerable to attacks of Elite Mobs in the end-game. She has 2 modes – Defensive and Attacking – which should be used depending on the situation. In Defensive Mode, she can block more than any other Defender while in Attacking mode she becomes an AOE Beast who has higher damage potential than any other AOE Guard. However, all this comes at a cost – Vulcan is the most expensive Operator for deployment in Arknights and she cannot receive any healing from any other sources except passive regeneration from Perfumer’s, Angelina’s and Sora’s talent. Nevertheless, Vulcan is an Operator who will be essential in a lot of situations when you need someone to hold a line all alone on the separate part of the map. Recruiting Vulcan is a very hard task because you can get her only through Recruitment by fishing Survival, Defense, and DPS tags.

Waai Fu

Waai Fu is 5-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical damage and has significantly reduced Redeployment Time…

Waai Fu is 5-Stars Single-Target Specialist who causes Physical damage and has significantly reduced Redeployment Time. Her first skill “One-Inch Punch” increases his ATK by up to 70% for 10 seconds after deployment and reduces the ATK of enemies targeted by Waai Fu by up to 40% for up to 3 seconds. On Elite 1, she learns ”Seven-styles Kick” that immediately causes up to 290% ATK as Physical damage to surrounding enemies and silences their special abilities for up to 8 seconds. Her main Base skill ignores the effects of any Operators stationed in the Factory that would affect the Morale consumption of Waai Fu. On Elite 2 she provides an additional 5% productivity for every 5% productivity provided by all other Operators assigned to the Factory, up to a maximum of 40% productivity.

Waai Fu is a Fast-Redeployment Specialist that has a 20% chance to increase ATK of every attack to up to 160% and slightly knock the target back. Both of her skills are very effective and can be used depending on your needs. Her first skill is ideal for quickly eliminating of squishy targets like Casters or softening Bosses while her second skill is ideal for preventing Elite Mobs from using their special skills (especially effective against explosive spiders). Her second skill also has a decent AOE damage potential so it can be used in perilous situations when you need extra damage against a large group of mobs. In my opinion, Waai Fu is more useful than Projekt Red generally, but it would be best to have both Operators ready for use.

Warfarin

Warfarin is a 5-Stars Single-target Medic who heals allies…

Warfarin is a 5-Stars Single-target Medic who heals allies. Her first skill “Emergency Triage” grants that the next heal will additionally restore up to 25% of its target’s Max HP (only available when the target’s HP is lower than 50%; it can store up to 4 charges). On Elite 1 she learns “Unstable Plasma” that grants that Warfarin and a random ally within range will have their ATK increased by up to 90%. During the skill duration, both Operators lose 3% of Max HP per second for 15 seconds. Her main Base skill increases Medic Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 30%. On Elite 2 she increases Medic Operators’ Specialization training speed in the Training Room by 50% instead.

Warfarin is a Single-Target Medic who restores up to 2 Skill Points to self and random ally within range whenever enemy within range is killed. This means that Warfarin and a random ally will more often use their skill and when we know that Warfarin’s second skill is the strongest ATK buff in-game we conclude that Warfarin can drastically improve the damage output of the entire squad if placed properly along with 1-2 powerful damage dealers. Her first skill on the other hand enables him powerful healing bursts so he can be used as additional Healer when that is needed on the maps that prevent proper deployment and usage of her buffs. Warfarin should be recruited at all costs because her ATK buff cannot be matched with any other buff from any other Operator.

Zima

Zima is a 5-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block 2 enemies…

Zima is a 5-Stars Single-Target Vanguard who causes Physical damage and can block 2 enemies. Her first skill “Charge y” instantly grants 12 Deployment Points.

On Elite 1, she learns “Ursus’s Roar” that gradually grants 12 DP over the skill duration, increases ATK and DEF to all Vanguard Operators on the battlefield by up to 60%, and grants 1 extra DP after killing an enemy. Her main Base skill restores 0.15 Morale per hour to all Operators assigned to the Dormitory. On Elite 2, she restores 0.2 Morale per hour to all Operators assigned to the Dormitory instead.

Zima has a talent that decreases DP cost of her and all other Vanguards (Elite 2) by 1 DP while she is in the Squad. Zima relies on Defense rather than on Attack, although she is capable of causing serious harm while her second skill is active. The buff she provides for other Vanguards with her second skill is essential on maps where you need to use multiple Vanguards. The only problem is because the cooldown of the second skill that lasts only 10 seconds is very long and Zima is almost harmless without it. Zima offers decent DP recovery compared to other Vanguards. While her second skill is active DP recovery she provides is unparalleled and can be higher even than Myrtle’s but as said before her second skill is too short to be relied on. The best way of using Zima is as off-tank who will hold the line supported with another Vanguard who will improve DP recovery until enough DP is accumulated to allow replacement. Zima should be maximized as soon as possible regardless of her limited damaging potential because currently there are not many more useful Vanguards available.
