GIRLS X BATTLE 2 REVIEW and GUIDES

The girls shown in this list are for your endgame squad. Their skills and abilities are shown at 10* or higher. Although choosing these girls to upgrade/build from early in the game will help you later on. Please refer to the description of your girls in the game for their exact stats and abilities.

Girls are divided into 5 tiers. Tier one is the tier with the highest, most powerful girls overall, and tier 5 is the lowest. Have in mind that tier lists and best champions can differ from one player to another, and this is not meant to be a strict way of deciding what to do in the game, this is meant to give you a pro player’s guideline throughout the game.

aquarius

A flexible girl from house Fairy…

video guide

A flexible girl from house Fairy. Her active skill ‘water wave’ can cause 158% attack damage to 3 random enemies while healing herself for 360% of the attack and increasing her crit and crit damage by 30% for 3 rounds. Her passive skill ‘flood III’ grants her 30% crit damage, increases her speed by 15, and heals her for 70% of her attack each time she is attacked by the enemy. Aquaris’ other passive skill ‘royal blood III’ gives boosts up her attack by 30% and crit rate by 35% while she is in the back-line girl or increases her HP by 60% and precision by 30% if she is in the frontline. Her 4th skill ‘Tsunami III’ will increase attack by 28% and crit by 30% when her HP is below 50% but it triggers only once.

The pros

Aquarius is great at filling both positions on the squad formation. She can adapt to most team setups thanks to this. She also gains different stat boosts depending on her position in team. Her crit damage boosts may take a couple of rounds to really get going but she can rack up.some good damage once this is in the place.

The cons

She has no resistances to crowd control and her base stats are slightly below average (especially her attack stat)

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with the “Wings of Icarus” antique for increased precision, skill damage and attack, or “The golden apple” which does extra damage against made enemies and boosts crit damage if the owner belongs to the Fairy faction.

Squad setup

Tag her with a defender who can absorb damage and a couple of damage dealers to support her with damage.

How To defeat her

Defeat her quickly so she can’t take advantage of her crit damage. The longer the battle drags out the more powerful she’ll get. Delayed her skills with crowd control to support defeating her.

alice

A damage dealer from house Monster…

A damage dealer from house Monster. Her active skill ‘dragon fight’ causes 146% against all enemies and deals extra 140% to Warrior class enemies. It also grants her a 12% damage reduction. Her passive skill ‘plasma shield’ increases her armor by 40%, attack by 25%, hp by 25% and deals extra damage to Warrior class enemies. Her other passive skill ‘veteran III’ increases her attack by 12% for 6 rounds whenever she’s attacked. Her 4th skill ‘heal’ does what it says on the tin and heals her for 52% of her attack lol.

The pros

Alice has good balance of both shielding the team and increasing own survival rate.

She can also heal herself which makes her ideal for the frontlines. Her damage multiplier on her active skill is great but because it’s an AoE attack, it makes up for it. Her attack boosts can help for the lack of attack damage. Her overall base stats are above average.

The cons

Her overall damage multipliers are not so great. She will take some time to build up her attack boosts. She also has not control immunity.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with “The Black Magic Hat” antique for increased damage reduction and HP, or “The Saints Will” antique which boosts attack against ranger class enemies and crit rate if they are from the monster faction.

Squad setup

Put her in the frontlines to build her attack boosts and absorb damage. Have some good damage dealers in your squad to support the low attack Alice has.

How To defeat her

Focus on attacking girls in the backline so you don’t build up her attack boosts. If you want to attack her first then use DoT damage such as bleeding and burn to avoid boosting her attack or activating her healing.

Guan Yin

A DoT dealer from house Human…

A DoT dealer from house Human. Her active skill ‘Invincible’ can deal 162% attack damage to 4 random enemies while placing Poison and Bleed for 3 rounds. Additionally, it also increases her attack by 40% for 3 rounds. Her passive skill ‘encourage III’ increases her block rate by 40%, speed by 60 and HP by 25%. Her other skill ‘reflection III’ increases her block rate by 10% and attack by 16% whenever she is attacked. Her 4th skill ‘quick attack III’ causes 95% attack damage to front-line enemies.

The pros

Guan yin is great for her DoT damage towards enemies and has a form of defense through her increased block rate which makes her a versatile girl who can fit in different team setups.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the block/hp dragon jade and the “Perception Watch” antique for an increase in block and HP. She could also use “The Judgement Sword” antique for increased HP and block rate if it is from the House faction.

Squad setup

She needs to be in the frontline because her increased block rate will help to absorb an incredible amount of damage. Her poison and bleed DoT could help support girls like Krystal or Trinity. Give her a healer if you want to increase her sustenance.

How To defeat her

Attack her with girls that have increased precision so she can’t boost up her block rate. If you stop her active skill by delaying it with Krystal or reduce her energy with Wraith or E&J this will reduce her effectiveness significantly.

Caitlyn

A damage dealer from house Human…

A damage dealer from house Human. Her active skill ‘explosive shot’ can cause 420% attack to 2 back-line enemies dealing an extra 102% attack to each of them for 4 rounds. Her passive skill ‘gun master’ has a 100% chance to bleed the target causing 96% of her attack for 2 rounds. Her other passive skill ‘ killing hall’ will increase her block rate by 35% and her attack by 40%. Her 4th skill ‘break shot III’ will target the enemy with the lowest HP and cause 120% attack to them along with stealing 15% of their attack for 3 rounds.

The pros

Caitlyn is good for dealing damage overtime plus her active has a high attack multiplier at 420%. The bleeding helps to enforce more damage overtime while stealing an enemy’s attack is a nice little debuff. Also, most of her bade stats are actually average.

The cons

Caitlyn has no resistances to crowd effects and no improvements of her defenses or recovery which puts her at a disadvantage.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with the “Black Magic Hat” antique for increased damage reduction or the “Judgement Sword” for increases HP and block rate if it is part of house Human.

Squad setup

Tag her in a bleed squad with Nobunaga and Trinity. She will also need a healer to support her survivability.

How To defeat her

Take her out quick so she doesn’t endure long enough to stack bleed statuses against you. She doesn’t have any defensive skills so just attack her with DPS users. Keep in mind that her base defense is better than average so use a holy damage attack user to support this.

Librarian

A damage dealer from the human faction…

A damage dealer from the human faction. Her active skill ‘silence hit’ is able to deal 146% attack to all enemies and stun enemy priests for 2 rounds. Her passive skill ‘Word: break III’ reduces down the enemy’s attack by 11% for 3 rounds. Her other passive skill ‘Word none III’ increases her skill damage 95%, HP by 50% and precision by 30%. Her 4th sill ‘Lost Shield III’ has an 80% chance to reduce targets crit by 15% and increase own attack by 25% for 3 rounds.

The pros

Librarian is good for dealing AoE attacks which can stun. She also has good buffing/debuffing skills which can benefit both her and her team. Her skill damage increase is permanent which will make her deal more damage. Her defense and life are average while her attack and speed are a bit below average. It’s worth noting that she has increased precision to support dealing with blockers.

The cons

Her stun ability is limited to ‘priest’ girls only and she has no ways of increasing her defenses or healing herself. At the top of that, she has no control immunities either.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the hp/atk or crit/crit damage dragon jade along with ‘Echoes’ antique for increase speed, block rate and attack or the ‘Judgement Sword’ which gives a boost in hp and block rate

Squad setup

Tag her with a good healer and damage dealers girls who increase defense. She could also help with a stun squad setup but make sure the enemy girls are priests first.

How To defeat her

As she has slightly high armor reduce it with armor break and begin dealing damage to her. Also make sure you do not have any Priest girls in your team so she can’t stun you.

trinity

A great damage dealer in house Monster…

A great damage dealer in house Monster. Trinity’s active skill ‘Description Mode’ is able to damage 2 random targets in the backline causing bleeding for 15 rounds which will deal 200% of attack per round. She will also cause disintegration for 2 rounds which will reduce the enemies block rate and increase their damage over time by 50% (disintegration can stack). If targets are bleeding before the attack they will receive an additional attack of 20% of their maximum hp as extra damage.

Her passive skill ‘Optical Camouflage’ will increase her attack by 35%, crit by 30% immunity by 30% precision by 40% and make her immune to bleed damage. Her other passive skill ‘Tactical Support’ increases her allies precision and crit by 25%, tags 2 enemies with the disintegration who have lowest hp for 2 rounds and for each enemy that is bleeding she will gain an additional 2% damage reduction and 10% crit for 2 rounds.

Her 4th skill ‘Burst Mode’ attacks 3 random enemies and bleeds them for 110% of attack each round. If the target has been tagged with disintegration, then they will receive an additional 12% damage (based of the targets maximum hp) as extra damage and if they are not then they will receive an additional 90 attack as damage which will crit.

The pros

Trinity can deal massive damage over time via her multiple stacks of bleeding and DoT increase. Her bleeding for 15 rounds is pretty much unheard of and graduates damage as long as its activated. Even if she is defeated after the 1st round she has a various set of ‘what if?’ scenarios skills which allow her to be set up in various ways for other girls. Plus she can also gain multiple stacks.

The cons

Her base hp is quite lower than average. Apart from that she is a very balanced girl.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with the ‘Thorns Hearts’ antique for additional crit damage, crit, and attack. Or the ‘Fusion Umbrella’ for a boost damage reduction, control immunity and attack.

Squad setup

Tag her with any girls that do different types of DoT damage i.e. poison, burn, bleed…(‘bleeding’ damage is very useful for trinity as she can gain various bonus from it). So it is recommended to use girls such as Nobunaga (who does AoE attack which bleeds everyone) but there are other choices such as Fenrir or Ithil who can bleed as well.  If you don’t have a bleeding girl then you can always use other DoT girls such as: Mio, Ennmaya, Amazon etc.

How To defeat her

You want to focus on defeating her very quickly so she does not activate her skills. I would suggest crowd controlling her (if you can) at the beginning of the round and using a powerful human girl like Ithil to single target her/defeat her. You will also want to defeat all DoT girls on the enemies (especially the ones who are doing bleed)

krystal

A crowd controller and DoT dealer from house Fairy…

A crowd controller and DoT dealer from house Fairy. Krystal’s active skill ‘Divine Punishment’ is able to attack 3 random targets and deal 155% attack damage to the 1st enemy crystalizing them for 2 rounds. The 2nd enemy will receive an attack of 205% and will be tagged with a crystal seal (which will activate after 1 round). After that Krystal deals 265% to the 3rd enemy and also tags them with a crystal.

Her passive skill ‘Miracle Crystal’ increases her hp by 35% attack by 30% speed by 40% and healing received by 30% while her ‘Mighty Prayer’ passive skill makes each of her basic attacks tag an enemy with a crystal seal (which also activates after 1 round). Her 4th passive skill ‘Miracle Powers’ is able to boost her attack by 20% for 6 rounds, restores her hp by 180% and deals 200% poison damage to 3 random enemies for 3 rounds.

The pros

Krystal is a great crowd controller bringing a whole new skill set to the game. She can support your damage dealers by allowing them to attack as much as they want when an enemy is crystallized or crystal sealed. Her 4th skill supports her with survivability via healing along with DoT damage via poison. If she is able to survive, her damage will build nicely over time. It is also worth noting she has good base stats.

The cons

She is not the type of girl that will deal good instant damage, plus she has no resistance to crowd control.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade along with the ‘Fate Crystal’ which will provide a boost in energy and attack, or the ‘Fusion Umbrella’ antique which will provide a boost in defenses, control immunity and damage reduction.

Squad setup

Tag her with girls that deal good damage, as her main function will be to open a pathway for damage dealers. As she increases the healing she receives to herself, it could also be worth having a healer to make sure she survives as long as possible to keep doing poison damage.

How To defeat her

First you should try to crowd control her as well. If you stop her own crowd control abilities her effectiveness on the enemy team will be heavily reduced since she doesn’t have any way of boosting her defenses which means that you should focus on dealing damage with monster type girls.

Saint

N-gen iron fist is a damage dealer from the monster faction…

A damage dealer from the human faction. Her active skill ‘Dimension Sword Spell’ is able to deal 136% attack to all enemies, burn them, and deal an extra 65% to each of them for 3 rounds. She also gains 30% self crit damage and attack for 3 rounds. Her passive skill ‘Cinder Flame III’ activates when an ally girl dies. She gains a 25% and skill damage by 30%. She also has passive skill which activates when an enemy girl dies, she will gain 20% crit and crit damage by 30%

Her passive skill ‘flame power’ which increases hp by 40% attack 20% and skill damage by 37.5%

The pros

Saint functions similar to Hexa who takes advantage of ally girls who die and gains a great stat boost but Saint also gains boosts when an enemy girls die as well.

She is at her best potential when she is your last girl standing in a fight. Giving her defensive gear will help to make sure this happens. Her base stats are at a good level.

The cons

Her abilities take a while to properly activate and she could easily be taken out before this happens significantly reducing her effectiveness in the fight. She also has no resistances to control or healing skills to help with survivability.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with the ‘Thorns Heart’ antique for additional crit damage and attack or the ‘Fusion Umbrella’ which gives a boost in damage reduction, control immunity, and attack.

Squad setup

Tag her with girls that give ‘death’ stat boost such as Diva, Hexa, Giana etc. These girls will work well with her as they have similar abilities. You may also want to put a good support girl like Nani or Psychic and healer to ensure she survives until the end.

How To defeat her

She’s the type of girl you want to defeat quickly so she doesn’t gain an advantage on you. Use a crowd controller to gain initial advantage then use a damage dealer which targets one girl like Ithil or Hexa to take her out before anyone else.

Wu kong

A crowd controller who deals damage…

A crowd controller who deals damage. Her active skill ‘holy stick’ is able to deal 159% attack to 4 random enemies and has 100% chance to stun enemy assassins and poisons them for 2 rounds. She can also deal extra 65% each round for 3 rounds. Her passive skill ‘stun III’ has 75% chance to stun an enemy target for 2 rounds. Her passive ‘weaken hit III’ deals extra 125% attack damage to stunned enemies. Her passive skill ‘weak point III’ increases armor break by 40% and attack by 35%.

The pros

Wu Kong has great stun effects and is able to take advantage of this by increasing her skill damage against enemies that are stunned. Since with both of her active and normal skills she is having stun chances she could support girls like N-Gen iron fist.

The cons

Her abilities are limited only to stunning or poisoning the target and only to assassin enemies. She cannot support her own survival as she does not have any defense boosting skills, healing, or crowd control immunities.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the hp/hp dragon jade, along with the ‘Power of Wind’ antique for increased survivability or the ‘Bloody Rose’ antique which has increased attack towards assassins and boost hp of ghost faction girls.

Squad setup

As mentioned above, girls such as N-gen iron fist and Turin benefit from when the enemy girl is stunned. You can further boost this with Psychic or Geisha. Boosting her armor and having a healer in your squad will also help her to survive.

How To defeat her

You should use girls who can crowd control or have stun immunities. Once this is in place, then Wu Kong effectiveness will decrease dramatically and you’ll be able to take her out easily with a good damage dealer.

n-gen iron fist

N-gen iron fist is a damage dealer from the monster faction…

video guide

N-gen iron fist is a damage dealer from the monster faction. She is able to attack 3 random enemies for 200% attack stunning them with a 60% chance is they are not stunned already. If they ate stunned she will do an extra 100% attack which will be a guaranteed critical strike. Her passive abilities allow her to receive protection from attacks by healing herself for 35% when the damage is above 50% of her maximum hp and to stun the target or if its below 50% Health she will gain an extra 12% to her attack. She also has a great control immunity at 45% along with a very unique ability that allows her to deal a percentage based attack of 9% to 2 random enemies, heals herself for 125% and even increases her own attack by 9% for two rounds but only if the enemy is stunned.

The pros

N-gen iron fist can be a great addition to a ‘stun’ based team. She is able to trigger some very useful skills once the enemy is stunned. Thanks to both her adoptive armor and explosive flicker she can easily sustain herself in tough matches.

The 9% maximum hp attack also makes her good for PVE bosses. Although she doesn’t have a counter-attack. she is able to build up her own attack (which can stack) every round to dish out more damage. All in all, she is a balanced unit that doesn’t have many flaws.

The cons

Her speed is a bit lower than average so she may be the last to act in the round. Also if the enemy has good control immunity or immunity to stun completely then her effectiveness drops significantly.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade for better initiative or the crit/crit damage for the extra attack along with “Neutron Blades” antique for better speed and attack plus a good increase in control rate, or you could give her the “Thorns Heart” antique for additional crit and crit damage.

Squad setup

She is best formed with a team that can stun enemy i.e Capsugirl, Turin, Phoenix, or Geisha (if necessary). A good support girl like hottie could help her increase her speed and another dealer or healer to complete the squad.

How To defeat her

She’s a tricky one. It is best to take down her hp little by little until she is below 50% but also has a girl to lower down her attack or crit damage. Then deal a massive attack to make sure she is defeated instantly from it. If you have a girl with a high control rate then you also try to crowd control her.

Nephilim

Nephilim is a Top Tier girl from the angel faction…

video guide

Nephilim is a Top Tier girl from the angel faction. Her active skill attacks 4 random enemies and ignores their armor. Each of these enemies will also be tagged with an equilibrium mark that lasts 3 rounds. The mark will make all enemies receive a 15% reduction to their maximum HP when they trigger their own active skill. Her basic attack makes enemies receive both a 100% attack plus a 9% reduction of their max HP and heals for Nephilim for 12% of the damage dealt. She also has a passive attack that happens at the end of each turn which does 100% attack damage to each enemy, lowers their healing effects, and heals Nephilim for 5% of her maximum Hp.

The pros

Nephilim functions both as a DoT (damage over time) and AoE (area of effect) attacker. Thanks to her marks she is able to damage enemies in their own turns. Marks can’t be controlled by immunities either so she will be great at both PVP and PvE. Truth to be told, having an attack that hits every enemy regardless of energy level is overpowered. As long as she stays alive she will be a big problem for everyone on the opposite side.

The cons

Most of her attacks are % based which means the damage will be reduced as enemies lose their HP. She also has low defensive boosts so she could be taken down by a big damage dealer.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the Crit/Crit damage dragon jade for boosted damage or the Attack/HP dragon jade for better survival. As for the antiques I recommend “Fusion Umbrella” for added defenses or the “Fate Crystal” for getting the initiative with an active skill.

Squad setup

Pair her with a good support girl like Psychic or Nani. As her damage is partly percent based having a good damage dealer like Fenrir or Kratos will help to make sure enemies will be defeated.

How To defeat her

Because her basic attack targets the highest HP girl, you could make that girl be a counter attacker like Turin or Nobunaga and have them react each time to her basic attack. It would be very wise to crowd control her from the beginning of the round so she does not tag you. In short, you want to defeat her quickly so she can’t use her passive AoE too much.

Ithil

One of the best damage dealers of the human factions…

video guide

The video guide for Ithil starts at 5:42.

One of the best damage dealers of the human factions. She is like an upgraded ‘Hexa’ in the sense that her attack grand finale focuses on one target but builds up over time similar to Priestess. This attack also bleeds enemies for 290% of her attack! (In case they weren’t defeated from her attack already lol) The main ability isn’t the biggest problem however, it’s her pursue status which stacks collectively to let off a massive attack all at once! These are gained when she blocks any attacks from enemies (including counter-attacks) and activates when she has enough energy for her main ability. She also gains a pursue from her basic attack which is also doubled thanks to her passive ability. She has a great block rate for building these pursues as well. Once she defeats an enemy she can heal herself by 100% which is a great ability to ensure her survival.

The pros

Ithil has a great balance of both offensive and defensive skills. If you don’t have a defensive girl she will function as a good unit on the frontline to absorb damage and deal a massive amount of damage back to the enemy and thanks to her multiple ways to stack pursue she is ideal for finishing enemies in a one-hit KO.

The cons

Her base life is naturally lower than other girls in her faction. But can be easily solved with some equipment

Equipment setup

I would recommend a Block and HP dragon jade along with the “Silver Mirage” antique for extra block and “Armor Break” or the “Echoes” antique which gives speed, block, and attack.

Squad setup

Ithil can into most teams. Tag her with a good support/healer girl like Psychic, Raphael, or Kongming to make sure she has the best chance of surviving longer rounds. You could also boost her attack with a girl like Nani.

How To defeat her

Avoid attacking her at the beginning so she can’t build up her pursue too much. Do this by focusing on girls that attack from backline or frontline or with single target attacks like Hexa’s. It may also help to use her faction weakness ‘ghost’ to build better damage against her.

kratos

Kratos is an absolute powerhouse and has abilities that do well in both PVP and PvE

video guide

Kratos is an absolute powerhouse and has abilities that do well in both PVP and PvE. Her main ability is able to hit 4 random enemies with a massive 260% attack but that’s not all! She can also take off an additional 20% of the enemy’s HP and if they’re below 35% she will do an extra 220% on top of that as well! Her ability will also terrorize you for a 50% chance so that none of your girls can use their basic attacks and will heal herself for 100% of the attack done. Her basic attack will target the lowest hp enemy and deal 200% attack damage, 15% maximum hp damage and a 100% chance terrorize! And again heals for 100% hp – this makes her a massive damage dealer who can sustain herself! If you add that with a few dark barriers which boost her control immunity by 20% and damage reduction by 6% (and can stack) then you have a near to perfect battle girl!

The pros

Kratos has many skills and attributes which make her a very top tier unit. She covers all attributes of strength, defense, healing, and resistances, her percent based damage skills also ignore defenses and her armor breaking effects make her maximize even more damage.

The cons

The only weakness she would have is if you were able to crowd control her but her increase in control immunity may make this more difficult as the rounds go on.

Equipment setup

I would recommend a crit/crit damage dragon jade, also with the ‘thorns heart’ or ‘fusion umbrella’ antique for added attack or defense. If you were to use an energy antique though you would be able to cut some damage down instantly so that the basic would do even further damage afterward.

Squad setup

Because Kratos is a great all-rounder girl she fits into any team. It would be best to tag her with a good support girl like Psychic or Raphael to boost her stats further.

How To defeat her

Use an energy antique at the beginning of the first turn with a crowd controlling girl like Capsugirl, Valeera, amelia, etc. Then use some high damage dealing girls, such as Phoenix, Fenrir, etc. The idea is to try and take her out quickly before her skills activate. You may also be able to take advantage of her basic attack at the beginning of the round which does more damage only after the enemy has a good ‘loss of Hp’

fenrir

Fenrir is another massive powerhouse who uses her abilities to easily overwhelm the opponent

video guide

Fenrir is another massive powerhouse who uses her abilities to easily overwhelm the opponent. Her attack which hits 3 random enemies does 206% but also bleeds them for 100% extra attack is well. Similar to Kratos she can also take off 15% of your Hp instantly if she is set to the frontline of your squad, but if she is in the backline of your squad then she will do an extra 108% damage and get a guaranteed critical strike. Her passive ability, Wolf Spirit, will give you attack boosts of 30%, armor break of 40%, and block rate of 60% which really helps to maximize her damage output while also supporting her defensively. Additionally, she builds her attack over time by increasing it by 5% and critical damage by 2% each time she uses her active skill so as long as she keeps surviving she keeps becoming more powerful. This ability also has no limit cap on it so it can go up to 15 rounds! (Pretty scary). On top of that, whenever she successfully blocks hit attacks she will remove more control statuses, deal a 20% hp attack to 3 enemies and heal herself for 40% of the damage. Obviously, increasing her block rate with antiques and gear is a top priority to use her to full potential.

The Pros

Fenrir can be both an attacker and a defender of your team. She is best suited in your frontline position where she can absorb incoming attacks with her high block rate and counter after 3 hits, and since she gets stronger as the rounds go on she should stay alive as long as possible with an adequate healer. But if you already have a defender/counterattacker (like Turin or Nobunaga) then her versatility to change her abilities in the backline also comes in handy.

The Cons

She doesn’t have any resistance to crowd control but at the same time, she can remove her control status with three successful blocks.

Equipment setup

I would recommend using ‘Wargs Bite’ an antique which increases her attack, block, and critical damage or ‘Thorns Heart’ which increases crit and crit damage and attack.

Squad setup

As she gets stronger when the rounds go on. you would want her to be in a squad that has a good healer i.e Raphael or Kongming so she has the best chance of surviving in later rounds. You could also increase her defenses with a girl like Nani but increasing her block rate should be more of a priority.

How to defeat her

Take her out as quickly as possible, use crowd controlling units to restrict her abilities, and lower down her defenses with support units like psychic or Nani. As you deal damage you don’t want Fenrir to block your attacks and heal herself so have a girl on your team which has high precision or at least boost your precision in guild lab.

empress saint

Empress Saint takes the ‘burning’ status to a whole new level!

video guide

Empress Saint takes the ‘burning’ status to a whole new level! She is able to use the power of burning to increase her attack damage by 125% for 4 random enemies that have a burning status. It’ also worth noting that the burning status can multiply upon each enemy so her attack damage will multiply as well! If the target is not burning she will burn them with a 100% chance which will do 30% of her attack. The only drawback to this attack is that she removes the burning statuses from her enemies once the skill activates (and that is just the first ability). Her passive ability gives you defensive attributes by allowing burned enemies to attack her for 24% less damage and is immune to being burned herself. She also can burn any target when her allies activate their main ability effectively making them able to be burners as well. On top of that, she has an 80% to double the burning rate! If combined with other girls that burn as well i.e Mio or Toyo etc., she can be an unstoppable force!

The Pros

Empress Saint could potentially be the highest damage dealer of all girls in the game! She does need the right squad to take advantage of this but she is able to burn the girls even if she doesn’t have other burn status users because of the ability to turn the girl’s main skill into a burning status, which is very useful. Her immunity also ensures she won’t be crowd controlled once a burn status is activated.

The cons

Depending on your setup she may take at least 1 round to build up the burn status on multiple enemies. This time could be crucial for her to be crowd controlled and hit with a powerful attack that may kill her.

Equipment setup

I would recommend a crit/crit damage dragon jade plus the punishment sword antique for added attack and defense or the thorns heart antique for more crit damage.

Squad setup

Tag her with girls that do burning status such as Mio, Sonya, Toyo, etc. This ensures a faster rate of burning stacks but she will also need a healer to make sure she survives.

how To defeat her

The fight with her needs to end rather quickly. Crowd controlling her will help but the main objective should be to take out her other teammates so her burning rate will decrease significantly – a good attack that hits all enemies at once will help.

mio

Mio is becoming highly favored in both PVP and PvE situations…

video guide

The video guide for Mio starts at 15:35.

Mio is becoming highly favored in both PVP and PvE situations. Her ability to burn her targets HP can become a problem rather quickly. This is because her main ability, ‘Searing Claws’, will burn away the targets HP based upon how much HP Mio has and attaches the burn status as well! Its damage is based upon Mio’s maximum HP at 18% so it will increase as her HP increases. She will also steal other enemies’ attack power plus lower them as well. She can heal herself for 200% of her attack when she is crowd controlled and this ability will burn enemies as well.

The pros

Mio is really good for PvP situations. The damage she inflicts over time will be hard to reduce as its percent based. Most squads will have at least one girl that does crowd control and she is able to take advantage of that with both dealing damage and healing herself. As the rounds go on, her damage will keep increasing.

The cons

Although she can heal herself, she has no resistance to crowd control or defensive skills and if the enemy has a good setup they can still turn the tides on her.

Equipment setup

I would recommend an HP/HP dragon jade along with the ‘Burning Blades’ antique for increased attack and survivability or the ‘Queens Crown’ antique which gives increases HP and damage reduction.

Squad setup

Mio works well with a good healer like Raphael or Kongming to help her survive. She can also provide great support to empress saint as she attaches the burn status in her abilities.

how To defeat her

Take her out as quickly as possible. crowd control will only help if you can reduce her healing abilities with girls like Wraith or Nephilim (when she is released) for example. Her damage is DoT based (damage over time) so try deal a decisive blow against her.

capsugirl

Capsugirl is a great crowd controller for PvP situations…

video guide

The video guide for Mio starts at 7:10.

Capsugirl is a great crowd controller for PvP situations. Capsugirl is able to split her active skill onto 4 different enemies to cause damage while having a high chance of stunning. 3 of the attacks will stun at different chances of 100%,50%, and 30% while the last attack will do 275% attack damage (all other attacks have slightly lower percentage attacks as well). She also has an ability that damages and potentially stuns enemies when her allies release an active skill, plus she has defensive skills which give her both complete immunity to stun and reduces damage by 50% when she’s below 50% health.

The pros

Capsugirl has a good variety of skills, she’s also well balanced with her abilities which allows her to give your team an edge in a tough fight. Her defensive skills keep her alive during long fights.

The cons

Her skills are mainly PvP based. Most bosses for PvE events have immunity to control effects, significantly reducing her effectiveness in fights.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon for a quick initiative in the first round and the “Fate Crystal” for a boost in energy or the “Fusion Umbrella” for additional defense.

Squad setup

Tag her with some girls that take advantage of a stun like Turin, N-gen Iron Fist, etc., along with damage dealers who can finish the enemy before they recover.

Psychic

Psychic has been a long time favorite in the game as being the ‘Best support girl’

video guide

The video guide for Psychic starts at 9:48.

Psychic has been a long time favorite in the game as being the ‘Best support girl’. She has multiple abilities that benefit her allies such as energy restoration, healing, debuffing, and crowd control. Her basic attack allows her to reduce the armor of all backline girls and heal her allies for 20% of their Hp (which is very useful when your girl are at high levels) and can instantly restore 100 energy of 1 random ally (so they can instantly use their main ability again). The weaken status makes enemies receive 50% extra damage. When she is below 50% health she can also stun all enemies for 2 rounds with a 75% chance.

The pros

Psychic is great for rear support and does not need to be built at high levels for her abilities to shine! As the abilities themselves are actually more overpowered than her.

The cons

Psychic is not equipped for taking damage and if targeted by a powerful damage dealer she will be in trouble. She has no immunities to crowd control either, which can stop her abilities from activating.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade plus an energy antique such as fate crystal or fate guide so she can activate her abilities straight away or a defensive antique such as Fusion Umbrella.

Squad setup

Psychic can fit into any team with ease. All she would need is someone to increase her survivability such as a good healer.

how To defeat her

Psychic is usually set to the backline of most teams, so focus on attacks that target all enemies or the backline. Try to crowd control her from the start to stop the abilities she has.

Turin

Turin is a great defensive girl who can counterattack…

Turin is a great defensive girl who can counterattack. She is a frontline attacker who can use an AoE passive ability to hit all enemies when she receives an attack from enemies. Her main attack targets backline enemies and she is able to increase her attack by 40% and Damage Reduction by 35% for 3 rounds (which also means it can stack). Her basic attack can target 4 random enemies with a 25% chance to stun them as well! Plus she has some control immunity to help strengthen her defenses.

The pros

Because of Turin’s AoE counterattack, this makes her really great in the frontlines to absorb all attacks. As the rounds go on, it will become more difficult to damage her because of her defense upgrades and her increase in attack will help ‘chip away’ damage at each enemy. Although she doesn’t do massive damage at once her high survivability over extensive rounds will make her one of your highest damage dealers and her control immunity will help to keep that damage consistent.

The cons

If she gets crowd controlled she cannot use her counterattack. This reduces her effectiveness significantly so try to remove this with baptism (at L3)

Equipment setup

I would recommend holy damage/attack dragon jade and the “Fusion Umbrella” antique for additional damage reduction or the last hope antique for extra attack.

Squad setup

Turin can fit into most teams. Put her on the frontline. Tag her with a healer for survivability and some big damage dealers. It also worth using girls who are able to stun so she can take advantage of the 100% attack increase.

how To defeat her

Because of her strong defenses and high HP, use percent based attacks from girls such as Nephilim, Wraith, Kratos, etc. Combine this with a burning/poison girl like Mio or Valeera to take her hp down in chuck before delivering a final blow. Nobunaga’s bleed damage could help as well.

Esau and Jacob

Twins, Esau and Jacob are two of the best damage dealers in the game at the moment, hands down…

video guide

The video guide for Esau and Jacob starts at 20:25.

Another very powerful duo! E&J are both debuffers and damage dealers, they come with a variety of skills in their arsenal i.e armor, attack, and speed reductions along with 100% chance to petrify. Their skills affect the frontline and back enemies, making them very versatile. They also have 100% control immunity, 30% damage reduction and their basic attack lower the enemy’s energy as well. But that’s not all – their passive skill Bringers of Fate’ does an AoE attack at 200% of their attack for each girl that is defeated!

The pros

E&J are an amazing duo that has multiple skill set. She is the type of girl you want to start activating her skills straight away, so she opens the way for other members on her squad (especially the attackers). Her AoE attack is her ace in the hole and will really turn the tides when enemy girls start to be defeated.

The cons

Although she has 30% damage reduction her natural Defenses are lower than normal girls and there is a chance that she can be hit with an overwhelming attack that may take her out.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the Attack/Holy damage dragon jade for ignoring armor when the AoE attack triggers and the “Echoes” antique to boost speed, block, and attack. You could also use the “Black Magic Hat” to bolster defenses for survival.

Squad setup

Tag her with a girl who focuses on single target damage such as Ithil or Hexa, because triggering her AoE attack should be the top priority. A good healer will also help as you want her to survive as long as possible.

how To defeat her

Most of the time she will be in the backline of the squad so focus on damage dealers that do AoE damage to backline enemies. She should be taken out quickly so her AoE doesn’t trigger.

WraIth

Wraith is a great versatile girl from the demon faction…

video guide

The video guide for Esau and Jacob starts at 22:35.

Wraith is a great versatile girl from the demon faction. Her main skill attacks 2 random enemies for 300% attack along with a 21% total hp based attack if the target has higher hp than her (this is removed at 10*) plus an extra 180% if the target is a priest. She is also able to lower healing effects by 30% and increase her critical rate. She gains passive energy when allies release their active skills and heal herself while her basic attack will lower a target’s energy from the backline. It is also worth noting that she has immunity to silence which is still rare in the game.

The pros

Wraith is quite a diverse girl in the game who provides not only great damage to guild bosses but also good support for allies and debuffing for enemies. As long as you can keep her alive you can spam her active skill every round and increase the damage as her crit rate goes up. Her basic attack can be used as a form of crowd control because it stops the enemies from using their active skills. Plus she instantly heals herself with every release of her allies’ active skills to help with her survival.

The cons

She has no defensive skills. So she can easily be a target for big damage dealers to take out quickly. Healing herself will help but not if she can be taken out in one hit or one round. You will need equipment to help with this.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with the “Thorns Heart” antique for extra crit damage or the “Fate Mirror” for a boost in energy and extra skill damage. Although for helping her survive, you may want to try the “Fusion Umbrella” for defensive purposes.

Squad setup

Pair her with some good damage dealers and a healer for survivability. You could also use a girl who boosts their energy quickly like Lucifer or a support girl like Psychic who gives energy to an ally.

how To defeat her

Reduce down the number of priest girls you have in your squad (if possible). Also, have a girl in the backline who doesn’t need their active skill to release as a priority. Her Hp is average and she has no defenses at the base so hit her with a lot of damage.

Michael

A support/healer from the Angel Faction

A support/healer from the Angel Faction. Her active skill is able to hit 4 random enemies for 198% of her attack with a 40% chance to stun them for 2 rounds. She can also heal an ally with the lowest HP for 1000% of her attack! Additionally, she can increase her critical rate for 20% for 3 rounds. Besides that, she has a special ability which allows her to be resurrected once she loses all her HP (But it can only be activated once) and she also has control immunity at 100%

The pros

Michael is a good crowd controller and her single-target healing is the highest in the game! Stunning enemies at early portions of the match will help the damage dealers do their job without worrying about survivability. Being able to revive means she can also help her allies heal in later/tougher rounds of matches and her crowd immunity will make her a great counter for certain girls like Capsugirl, Geisha, Psychic, etc. However, her basic stats are at an average level apart from Hp. It’s also worth noting that she has an increase in holy damage at 60% which will help deal better damage against high armor girls like Sonya.

The cons

Her basic attack doesn’t come with any additional skills so her active skill ‘judgment sword’ will be the main skill you want to trigger as much as you can. Her attack multipliers are not great so it’s best to focus on boosting her defenses although boosting her attack will help to gain better healing bonuses.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade for gaining initiative and supporting her low HP. She also needs the fate crystal antique for a boost in initial energy and attack or the “Key of Mind” antique for a boost in attack and holy damage (it will also boost critical rate).

Squad setup

I would tag her with some good damage dealers like Priestess, Fenrir, Kratos, etc. You could also take advantage of her stun skill and use her with other stun girls like Turin, N-gen Iron Fist, Psychic, etc. Thanks to her immunity she is great for the sanctuary 9th stage boss as well.

how To defeat her

Lower her healing abilities with a girl like Wraith or Nephillim. She has no additional defenses so just attack her with big damage dealers and have good resistances against stun in your squad.

Phoenix

Phoenix is a heavy DMG dealer with an excellent speed that allows her to attack first…

video guide

The video guide for Phoenix starts at 26:42.

Phoenix is a top tier girl for PvP situations and it has remained this way for a long time. This is because of her great skill set. She has an active skill that does 300% attack to 2 random enemies which ignore armor and stuns them if their Hp is higher than hers for a 100% chance! Her basic attack targets the lowest Hp girl and ignores armor. Also, when an enemy is defeated, she can restore her energy by 100 instantly (which triggers her active skill again) and increases holy damage (which ignores armor) by 30% for 3 rounds! It’s also worth noting that she has complete immunity to stun.

The pros

Phoenix’s skills are pretty dangerous. The ability to trigger powerful attacks without the worry of a girl’s armor is still unique and rare in the game, not to mention stunning them unless they have high control immunity and using again if they are defeated. Her active skill could easily be repeated multiple times plus her speed attribute is higher than normal so she can take advantage of being first to act in battle.

The cons

Her base HP is lower than average, plus she has no way of healing herself so Defense boosters and a good healer are essential for her survival. She can be crowd controlled by all other statuses apart from stun, as well.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the Speed/Dragon or Crit/Crit damage dragon jade along with the “Thorns Heart” antique for extra Crit damage or the “Fate Crystal” for instant energy to trigger her active skill straight away.

Squad setup

She’s the type of girl who deals the finishing blow to enemies and you should tag her with a DoT (damage over time) girl like Mio so they can chip away the enemy’s Hp while Phoenix swoops in to finish them off. Esau and Jacobs AoE will be a nice addition to cut down their damage enough for Phoenix as well. Also, have a good healer like Kongming or Raphael for survival.

how To defeat her

Crowd controlling her is a top priority. This will stop her from getting into a rhythm with her active skill, and then just focus on damage dealing. You could also put high damage reduction attributes on your lowest girl so she keeps focusing on them with her basic attack.

Raphael

Seems that Angel house got the most heroes on the top of the list…

video guide

The video guide for Raphael starts at 25:11.

Raphael is the current ‘best healer’ of the game without a doubt. She functions as a great support buffer as well. Her main ability both damages the enemies and boosts the attack, speed, and healing effectiveness of her allies (meaning they will receive more healing overall). Her basic attack will heal 3 random allies but it will focus on the girls who have lost the most HP first (very useful), but that’s not all! When she dies, she will use the ‘Beacon of light’ which will heal all allies for 300% of attack for 5 rounds! This ability alone would provide enough healing to make her a high Top Tier unit! It’s worth noting she has 30% control immunity along with all other things as well.

The pros

Although her basic healing skill is random, the ‘most lost hp’ feature helps to target and balance her allies hp as the rounds get harder later on and because this ability lasts 3 rounds it means that it can also stack. The main ability will help to take initiative thanks to the speed increase which is still quite rare for girls to have in the game (Hottie boosts speed as well) but her “Beacon of Light” is the skill that will counteract massive AoE attacks providing the best chance of survival for the team.

The cons

She doesn’t have any skills to bolster her Defenses so she could be a vulnerable target for damage dealers. Her control immunity is only 30% so she is still susceptible to crowd control as well.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the Speed/Hp dragon jade for her to act quickly or the Attack/Attack dragon for boosting allies. As for antiques the “Echoes” antique would be best for additional speed and block rate or the “Fusion Umbrella” for providing boosted defenses.

Squad setup

Tag her with some powerful damage dealers like Priestess, Fenrir, Kratos etc. Her skill set is designed for buffing and surviving so take advantage of that.

How To defeat her

She’s a tricky one – she is not a girl you want defeat straight away but not last either. First, use a girl like Wraith or Nephilim (when she’s released) to reduce her healing effects. Once that is in place then take her out with some damage dealers that do AoE attacks (so they are all defeated at the same time). Kratos’s “Terrorize” ability will help to stop her from using her basic attack that heals as well.

Giana

Giana the suicide bomber!!

video guide

The video guide for Raphael starts at 5:08.

Giana the suicide bomber!! She is a girl from house ghost and has a unique skill which allows her to explode on enemies with tremendous force! Her passive skill allows her to cause a 400% attack against all enemies when she is defeated. Also whenever an ally is defeated she is able to increase her critical rate by 20% and her attack by 36%! (And those boosts can stack). Her active skills can deal 150% to all enemies along with silencing warrior class enemies while increasing her attack by 30% at the same time.

The pros

The boost she gains for allies being defeated is second to none! She can easily gain over 300% attack power to be applied to any of her skills! Her summon soul skill is particularly powerful with the boosts as it can go well over 700%! Also, her high base power helps with the multipliers of her damage.

The cons

Her base defense and speed are slightly lower than normal, plus she has no immunities to crowd control (although due to her skill set it doesn’t matter much). She has been built to boost her attack and explode, so there are no other skills she can use to support herself.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the Atk/Atk or Atk/Holy damage dragon jade along with the “Fusion Umbrella” antique for damage reduction and a boost in control immunity or the “Black Magic Hat” for damage reduction and the boost in hp.

Squad setup

There are two ways to setup Giana:

Esau and Jacob/Saint setup:

You can combine her with girls such as Saint or Esau and Jacob who will benefit from her being defeated after she uses summon soul.

Multiple Diva setup:

You can use a group of divas (monster faction) and let them be defeated so Giana can have another boost in attack (she can boost her own attack when diva dies as well!) so the summon soul ability will attack at full force! The key to this setup is to make sure Giana is the last girl in the team to survive so boost up her defenses with antiques.

How To defeat her

Your top priority is to take her out first. Her explosion will always trigger but taking her out first will decrease its attack significantly. Reduce the number of warrior allies you have on the team especially if Giana is at high level i.e L3. Also, have support who reduces the attack of the enemies and make sure your team has adequate defenses and healing especially after it triggers.

Note: the burning blades antique will help to survive her attack if it defeats the girl it is attached to.

Valeera

Valeera is an all-rounder girl from the ghost faction…

video guide

The video guide for Raphael starts at 04:18.

Valeera is an all-rounder girl from the ghost faction. Her active skills allow her to damage 4 random enemies for a 150% attack along with poisoning them with a 100% chance along with freezing and petrifying them for a 25% chance. Her basic attack can target frontline enemies and steal their attack (which means to lower their attack and boost Valera’s) but that’s not all! She can also increase her damage when the enemy is crowd controlled but also heal herself, boost her attack (when the enemy is petrified) and restore energy and boost attack (when the enemy is frozen)!

The pros

Valeera is quite good at taking advantage of crowd control statuses. If tagged when the right girls are crowd controlled she can last for a long time in a match. She’s not a massive damage dealer but she makes up for that with good crowd control and support boosts for herself.

The cons

She herself has no immunities for crowd control plus her standard defenses are sub-par her. Healing is great but this means nothing is she is one hit KOed.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon for taking initiative in the rounds or the crit/crit damage jade for extra damage. For antiques I suggest the “Thorns Heart” for extra crit damage again or the “Fusion Umbrella” for added defenses.

Squad setup

Because of her unique skills tag her with other girls that do crowd control such as Michael, Sakura, Amelia, Fencer, etc. Boosting her defenses will also help so use Deerling Servant or Nani.

How To defeat her

Reduce down her healing effects with Wraith or Nephilim for example. Also, use girls who have control immunity like Turin or Esau and Jacob and have a couple of damage dealers to take her out quickly.

Priestess

Priestess is another long term favorite of both PVP and PvE situations…

video guide

The video guide for Priestess starts at 11:05.

The priestess is another long term favorite of both PVP and PvE situations. She is a great damage dealer who can tag enemies with marks to increase her damage. Each mark she tags will increase the damage dealt on those enemies by 35%! What makes this better is that she tags the entire squad with her main ability and at 10* or higher has a 30% the attach another mark for double damage! This mark will allow her allies to take advantage of the increased damage. She can also attach marks on both her basic attack and when she is attacked by enemies but these marks only increase Priestesses damage by 35% and not the whole team. These particular marks can also either steal your attack or increase critical damage as well (the fact that each of these marks can stack is practically useless).

The pros

Because her marks can stack, this will be devastating as the rounds go on. With a high level and good overall setup, she can easily take off big chunks of damage as her marks stack up. She can also continue building her marks even when she is crowd controlled.

The cons

Her main ability is the key to building damage and if this is stopped via crowd control her damage potential will be reduced. Although she has some damage reduction to support her survivability this will not secure a victory and she will need adequate boosts in HP and Defense to make sure she survives in long matches.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the Crit/Crit damage dragon jade along with the “Thorn Hearts” antique for additional Crit damage or “Saint Wills” which provides extra Crit and damage to rangers.

Squad setup

She needs good setup in both Defense and Healing so tag her with the likes of Raphael or Kongming. Thanks to her main ability that increases damage you will want another big attacker in the team is well.

how To defeat her

A quick KO is necessary here, so crowd control her straight away and inflict damage fast so she doesn’t have time to build up her marks.

Amazon

A crowd controller from the Fairy faction…

video guide

The video guide for Amazon starts at 48:09.

A crowd controller from the Fairy faction. Her active skill is ‘silence arrow’ that deals 105% damage to all enemies and silences them with a 50% chance for 2 rounds gaining a 40% damage reduction plus immunity to control effects. Her basic attack allows her to poison an enemy target for 200% for 1 round and silences them for 2 rounds with a 15% chance. Also when an enemy girl is defeated Amazon will gain 20% crit damage and 15% attack.

The pros

Amazon has a great skill set that allows her to protect herself, crowd control, and do damage over time. Upon the games release Amazon was considered to be the top girl of the game (especially if you had more than one of them) it is only because of updates in new meta why she went down a couple of tiers but in early to midgame portions she is still worth building her. There are still not many girls in-game that are immune to silence and because her active is AoE to all enemies she can potentially silence all of them (which will stop them using their active skills). She has high speed so there is a good chance she can act first in the match. Her control immunity and damage reduction will help with survivability.

The cons

Amazon’s attack multipliers are not great – they’re quite low, to be honest. Her basic stats apart from speed are average.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade, along with the “Fate Crystal” for instant energy at the start of the match or “Demonic Wings” for a boost in speed and hp plus crit when the girl is from house Fairy.

Squad setup

Tag amazon with a good healer and damage dealers. She may be able to reduce damage but that’s only when the active skill is triggered so she could easily get hit with a big attack before that happens. The dragon servant will help to increase her chances of crowd control effects.

how To defeat her

Crowd controls her before she activates her skill then hits her with a big damage dealer. Holy damage does not work against damage reduction so this needs to end quickly.

Kong Ming

Kongming is both a great healer and a damage dealer...

video guide

The video guide for Kong Ming starts at 17:31.

Kongming is both a great healer and a damage dealer. Her main ability ‘Phantom Tide’ allows you to attack 4 random enemies with a 272% attack. This ability will also heal all her allies for 125% of her attack. Her basic attack allows you to increase her attack power by a further 30%. Her passive ability ‘The elegy of wind’ activates on 50% HP lose and allows for a 60% critical damage increase for 6 rounds and removal of all control effects while silencing all enemies for 1 round. The passive ability “Red Lotus Flame” increases critical rate by 35%, HP by 25%, attack by 30, and by precision by 50%

The Pros

Kongming is extremely versatile and comes with a lot of abilities in her arsenal. If a player is able to take advantage of her critical damage with additional antiques and gear then her potential will really be shown! She also covers the necessary healing for your teammates so Blowie should no longer be required (unless you really need the extra healing). Her 50% precision will help to reduce blocking chances of girls such as Ithil, Fenrir, etc., and her 100% silence will be able to hold off enemies’ main abilities for that round which can make a huge difference in the outcome of the match.

The Cons

Kongming doesn’t have any buffs or block rates to bolster her defenses, so be careful that she doesn’t get one hit KOed and be sure that her passive ability activates. She can also be susceptible to crowd control effects i.e stun, silence, freeze, and is slightly slower than the average girl.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade and the “Thorns heart” antique which provides great attack and crit damage boost or the “Echoes” antique which provides speed and block rate.

Squad setup

Kongming can fit into most squads but only if you need a healer. Her crit damage is good but not the best.

Overall she can do a lot of different things but she exceeds at none.

How To defeat her

Similar to Psychic she will function usually in rear support so targeting backline enemies and all enemies via AoO is your best bet along with crowd controlling her.

Sakura

A damage dealer/controller from the ghost faction…

A damage dealer/controller from the ghost faction. Her active skill ‘sakura dance’ is able to target backline enemies and deal 192% attack plus a 35% chance to petrify for 2 rounds and reduces their armor by 30% for 3 rounds. Her basic attack ‘killing mark’ can deal 95% attack to enemies in the backline and deals 160% extra attack to petrified enemies. She can also petrify them for 20% with this attack. She has a passive attack called ‘Zanshin’ which allows for a 50% damage reduction when below 50% health for 3 rounds.

It is worth noting that she is immune to petrification as well.

The Pros

Sakura is great for racking up damage with the right team thanks to her boosts in petrify. Her base attack parameters are also good and because she targets backline enemies this can be useful for taking out healers or support girls who are usually in the backline. Her damage reduction will help to support her in longer rounds.

The Cons

She has no immunity to stun, freeze or silence so be careful that she isn’t stopped from using her skills.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade along with the ‘echoes’ antique for increased speed, block rate, and attack or the ‘power of wind’ antique for a boost in speed and hp.

Squad setup

Sakura would be great with girls like Esau and Jacob, Valeera, Amelia, etc. Mainly because they all do some form of petrifying which Sakura can take advantage of gaining a boost in power. All you would need to include in that line up is a healer like KM or Raphael and you’ll have a complete squad!

How To defeat her

Crowd control her with a stun or freeze to stop her from petrifying you. Then focus on dealing damage until she gets below 50% health and then have a girl who does percent based attacks to help deal with Sakura’s 50% damage reduction.

Nobunaga

A fan favorite for early portions of the game...

A fan favorite for early portions of the game. Her active skill ‘fire smash’ is able to deal 132% attack to all enemies and reduces both their crit rate by 25% and their crit damage by 30% for 3 rounds. This attack will also bleed all enemies for 150% of Nobunagas attack! Her basic attack can steal the enemy’s critical rate and has a 50% chance to increase her critical damage by 30% for 2 rounds and when she is attacked she can counterattack for 200% of her attack with a 100% chance.

The Pros

Nobunaga causes good attack damage. The fact that she attacks all enemies makes her a good finisher! (especially as her crit damage builds up) and the bleed damage will continue even if she dies. But she can function as a front line attacker as well thanks to her passive counterattack which helps a lot in the early portions of the game. It is important to say that her high base attack also helps with damage multipliers.

The Cons

Her speed is a bit below average so she may use her turn last in your team and she has no resistance to crowd control.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage or holy damage/attack dragon along with the “Fusion Umbrella” antique to boost her control immunity and defenses or the “Thorns Heart” antique for additional crit damage and attack.

Squad setup

Tag her with a good healer like Kongming or Raphael for better survival. Use a crowd controller such as Amazon or Capsugirl to delay some attacks for Nobunaga to build her crit damage.

How To defeat her

Crowd controlling her is your top priority. This will reduce her effectiveness significantly. Then use a human girl like Ithil to build up damage from her counter attacks and take advantage of her weakness to human faction.

Amelia

Amelia is a good damage dealer who can also crowd control…

video guide

The video guide for Kong Ming starts at 7:15.

Amelia is a good damage dealer who can also crowd control. Amelia is able to use an active skill that has a 30% chance to petrify enemies and steal their 30 energy. Her basic attack also petrifies but with a better chance (75%) and also steals 35 energy. She gets a base boost of 100% in her skill damage and speed of 60. She has another skill called ‘dark debt’ which is able to increase her attack by 180%, although it does reduce her armor by 40%.

The Pros

Amelia is great at controlling the flow of battle because she is able to stop enemy girls from using their active skills. She has enough attack to do good damage plus crowd control them with petrify. This makes her quite versatile in her skillset and if combined with the right team she can bring out other allies potentials.

The Cons

Her base stats are lower than most new current girls and although she has a natural boost in speed she is also relatively slower than current meta girls. Her 180% attack boost is great but because it lowers her defenses, even more, she may get one hit KOed. She is going to need a good boost from her equipment to ensure she doesn’t get defeated too easily. She also has no resistance to crowd control.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade, along with the “Fate Crystal” or “Fate Mirror” antique for boosts in attack and energy.

Squad setup

She works well with girls who can take advantage of petrifying. Tag her with Sakura and Valeera (who gets extra damage from petrifying) and Esau & Jacob (who also petrify). You can also use Sapphire as a budget tag team option if you have none of the other girls.

How To defeat her

Crowd controls her quickly so she doesn’t get to steal your energy. Try to make to crowd control last for more than 1 round so you are able to use a damage dealer that will take her out fast as you don’t want her dark debt ability activating. If it does activate then make sure you have a healer to support survivability.

Lucifer

Lucifer is another awesome DoT damage dealer from the house of Demons…

A damage dealer from house Demon. Her active skill ‘infernal cut’ deals 115% attack to all enemies and also bleeds them for 56% extra attack for 3 rounds. She deals an extra 105% to enemy rangers and increases her skill damage by 50%. Her basic attack ‘shadow strike’ has a 100% chance to increase her own attack by 20% and speed by 15% for 3 rounds. She also has a passive ability called ‘netherworld’ which increases her skill damage by 20% and recovers 30 energy every time an ally triggers their active skill.

The Pros

Lucifer is great at doing DoT damage and because she can regenerate energy, she is able to use her active skill easily every round so she can stack her bleed damage. This can be much more effective when having more than one Lucifer but either way as long as she can survive her DoT (Damage over time) will be quite high. Additionally, her base HP is above average.

The Cons

She has no resistance to crowd control, her attack multipliers are not very high, and her speed is a bit below average.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage or the crit/attack dragon jade, along with the ‘Thorn’s heart” antique for a boost in crit damage and attack, or with “Fusion umbrella” for a boost in defenses and Hp for survivability.

Squad setup

Tag her with girls who can release their active skills quickly such as Phoenix or Wraith. Each of those girls will release their active skills every round but you could also put a Psychic in that team to help restore energy further. Keep a healer in the squad to make sure they survive.

How To defeat her

Crowd controls her so she doesn’t release her active skill (the newly released girl Krystal could help with delaying her attack also) and then attack her with damage dealers. It may help to use damage dealers who have a percent based attacks.

Sonya

Known once as the Queen of PvE! Sonya functions as a defender for your squad which you mainly put in the front lines…

Known once as the Queen of PvE! Sonya functions as a defender for your squad which you mainly put in the front lines. Her active skill can damage 3 random enemies for 144% attack and reduce their armor for 30% along with their block as well. She is also able to cause extra burning damage to those enemies for 48% of her attack for 3 rounds. The burning damage is increasing to 140% when you are attacking a warrior class enemy. Her basic attack can reduce the enemy’s armor by 24% as well for 100% chance and deal 45% damage which lasts for 4 rounds. When the target is burning she will deal an extra 40% which again lasts for 4 rounds. Additionally, when she is attacked she can counter for 180% attack as long as the enemy has lower armor than Sonya.

The Pros

Sonya is still a great defender that will function well in the front lines. At 10 stars she has over 3000 armor which is still unheard of in other girls. This makes her a great survivor who can absorb most attacks plus she has pretty good Hp at 500k so she is well equipped for the role. Being able to reduce armor and block, will open a way for damage dealers plus the DoT burn damage makes her both a defender/debuffer.

The cons

She does not have much versatility in how she attacks, so compared to Nobunaga or Turin (who are counterattackers is well) she may fail in comparison from a PvP perspective when we talk about damage. She also has no crowd control resistance and girls with holy damage (which ignore armor) are her main weakness.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the attack/holy damage or attack/attack dragon jade along with the “Thorns Heart” antique for extra attack and crit damage or the “Fusion Umbrella” for boosted defenses and control resistance.

Squad setup

Put her in the front lines and tag her with a good damage dealer like Fenrir and healer like Raphael or KM etc. for survivability. She doesn’t have the best base attack so Raphael or Nani could help to boost that.

how To defeat her

Use girls who are able to deal holy damage like angels faction girls or increase the holy damage of a damage dealer with the dragon jade. This will help to ignore up to 30% of Sonya’s armor and play a key factor in defeating her. You could also use an antique to increase the damage for warrior enemies in chasing better damage results.

Gambler

She can be truly devastating to the enemies, or your weakest link.

I think that the Gambler is the most fitting name for this girl. She can be truly devastating to the enemies, or your weakest link. Gambler is a glass cannon sort to speak. Her active ability, Danger Card, is dealing heavy DPS to 3 random foes through the bleeding she is inflicting. It’s even more destructive to the rangers, dealing bonus DMG against them. Gambler will heal herself for a solid amount depending on her offense. Blood Anger will make your basic attacks also bleed the target for a smaller percentage, but for 4 rounds, while also reducing a low portion of their armor. Killing Heart is there to buff the Gambler’s offensive ability even further and also to deal more damage against the bleeding foes. Blood Absorb will heal her each time the enemy girl is downed, for a similar amount the Danger Card is healing. This will improve her survivability by some margin, but it’s not enough. She is vulnerable, but also indispensable in teams that got another hero inflicting bleeding. Protect her if possible, and she can be pretty useful.

Fencer

A good tank and crowd controller from House Ghost

A good tank and crowd controller from House Ghost. Her active skill ‘Cold Fury’ is able to deal 174% attack on frontline enemies and has a 70% to freeze them for 2 rounds. She can also heal herself for 20% of her maximum hp. She has a counterattack ability called ‘icy land’ and this ability can freeze any enemies that attack her with a 20% chance (if it’s a warrior enemy the chance will increase to 35%). She can heal herself for 15% of her maximum hp for 3 rounds with her passive ability ‘total zero’. It’s worth noting that she is immune to freeze.

The Pros

Fencer has great defenses. Her base armor and HP are quite high allowing her to take a lot of damage plus she can heal herself which makes her great to be in the front line guarding the rest of your girls as long as the enemies’ basic attack focuses mainly on her. She can also truly shine with her crowd control abilities.

The cons

Fencer is not built for attack damage. So she will need good damage dealers to support that. She is immune to freeze but she is vulnerable to other crowd control abilities.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the hp/hp or speed/hp dragon jade along with the “Fusion Umbrella” antique for a boost in damage reduction, control immunity, and attack or “The black magic hat” antique which boosts damage reduction and hp

Squad setup

Fencer will need good damage dealers to backup her low attack and lack of attack skills. Javelin benefits from frozen opponents and has been a fan favorite for tagging with Fencer. You could use Valeera who gets a boost in damage from frozen opponents as well. Then have some other damage dealers like Priestess, Fenrir, Kratos, etc.

how To defeat her

Reduce her healing effects with Wraith or Nephilim, avoid crowd controlling her with freeze i.e use stun or petrify. Have someone take chunks of her life until just before 50% hp and then hit her with a big one-shot attack.

Nani

A support girl from the Fairy faction

video guide

A support girl from the Fairy faction. Nani’s active skill is able to damage all enemies for 95% of her attack and tag a critical strike mark on those enemies (which does additional damage and is then removed) She can also reduce the enemies’ attack by 10% and boost her own allies attack by 20% for 3 rounds. Her basic attack reduces all enemies armor by 20.4% and when she goes below 50% HP she increases all her allies armor by 42% for 3 rounds.

The Pros

Nani is great for rear line support. Not many girls are able to boost armor in the game so this makes Nani quite unique. She functions as both a buffer and debuffer.

The cons

Nani doesn’t have many attack skills so she needs to rely on strong damage dealers. She also has no control immunity. Her speed and attack stats are slightly below average as well.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade for gaining initiative at the beginning of the round along with the “Queens Crown” for a boost in defense and HP, or the “Demonic Wings” antique for a boost in speed and hp. If the girl is a fairy faction she will get a boost at a critical rate as well.

Squad setup

Tag Nani with some good damage dealers as her main function is to boost your allies stats so have her focus only on doing that.

how To defeat her

Just crowd control her at the beginning to stop the boost in stats and focus on dealing damage with girls to target no HP or AoE attack damage.

Hexa

A monster girl who is good for patrol purposes…

A monster girl who is good for patrol purposes. Her active skill ‘Justice Rains’ is able to attack 2 random backline enemies and heal herself for 35% of the damage. This attack can also steal the attack of the enemies she hits for 30% of their attack for 3 rounds and increases her own crit damage for 3 rounds!

When an enemy girl dies, she can gain an extra 30% attack as well and her basic attack focuses on targets with the lowest hp, causing 130% attack and healing Hexa again for 45% of the damage done.

The Pros

Hexa is the type of girl that will focus on defeating weaker enemies in the team so she could gain boosts in attack and crit damage. This boost will then be converted into hp for supporting her survivability. The fact that she targets enemies with the lowest hp helps to increase the chances of this and because of her self-healing mechanics, she will be good for surviving in patrol.

The cons

If you are facing a well-balanced team that doesn’t have any significantly weaker girls (compared to the rest on the team) then Hexas skills will reduce in effectiveness as you want her to defeat girls instantly. She will need the right setup of girls to ensure this happens. She also has no resistance to crowd control.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the crit/crit damage dragon jade along with the “Thorns heart” antique for additional boosts in attack, crit, and crit damage or the “Saint wills” antique for boosting damage to the ranger class enemies, and a boost to crit if your girl on the monster faction

Squad setup

There are a couple of different team setups – firstly you could set her up as a ‘cheese’ team which will consist of Hexa/multiple divas and when the divas die they will bolster Hexa’s attack damage to greater heights (hottie can do this as well). The second possibility is to support her with other good damage dealers as she cannot truly get to her potential without defeating other girls. If you choose the second setup then also include a healer and support girl for the other girls on the team.

how To defeat her

Crowd control her and hit her with some good damage dealers. She is relatively easy to defeat as long as you have a balanced squad. Use a human girl to gain some extra damage. Also, make sure you have good defenses so your girls are not killed instantly.

Scythe

Scythe is a seriously good tank, with passive power scores over most other heroes.

Scythe is a seriously good tank, with passive power scores over most other heroes. On paper, she has an awesome combination of skills, but we put her in this tier for a few reasons. First of all, she is from the house of Demons, and we all know they are hard to collect and star-up. The second one is more obvious, there are better options in PvP like Turin that’s sturdier, or Sonya that can dish out massive quantities of damage. Scythe’s active skill, Enchant Mark, is attacking every foe and it tags them with Round Mark. This will trigger after a round, dealing solid damage and it has a chance to re-apply itself and trigger once more after a round. It also increases Scythe’s DR by some small percentage for 3 rounds. The second one is the Petrify Mark, it’s triggered by the basic hits and it has a solid chance to petrify the target for 2 rounds and injure the opponent after one round. Dark Strike is working in a similar way as the Petrify Mark, but it has a small chance to recover Scythe’s health minorly. Back from Hell (they all sound like the metal albums, right?) will resurrect the Scythe with full health after she gets killed. She is great in synergy with Esau and Jacob.

Gabriel

A damage dealer of the angel faction

A damage dealer of the angel faction. Her active skill ‘Holy Blast’ is able to deal 115% attack to all enemies and tag them with critical strike marks that will do an extra 200% of her attack. These marks will be activated once an enemy receives critical damage. She also will have a 30% chance to tag all enemies with an additional mark which will do 140% of her attack. Her basic attack ‘Holy blast’ is able to tag an enemy with a critical strike mark with a 100% chance and increases her critical rate by 12% for 3 rounds. When attacked she can tag enemies with a critical strike marks in her ‘chaos light III’ ability. These marks will deal 65% attack increasing her crit damage by 15% for 3 rounds. It’s also worth noting she has a passive holy damage increase of 36% and damage reduction of 15% in her ‘holy song’ passive skill.

The Pros

The layout of Gabriel’s skill set is similar to Priestesses. She is constantly able to tag you with marks that will do additional damage. As these marks build up over time (and can stack) the damage output will keep improving making a valuable asset as long as she can survive in longer/tougher rounds. At the top of that, her holy damage increase will make sure that some of the damage she produces not affected by the girls’ armor.

The cons

She has no healing abilities so improving her survival is crucial for building her. She has no resistance to crowd control and her base attack is quite low, so it will need improving to get the best potential out of her marks.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the attack/holy damage dragon jade along with “Fusion Umbrella” for additional defenses. Control immunity and hp or the “Invisible Cloak” to boost in defenses and Hp along with a holy damage increase if your girl is part of the angel faction.

Squad setup

Make sure you have a good healer in your team to improve Gabriel’s survivability. It would help to increase her attack with a support girl and to reduce the armor of enemies for the best damage output. Also, don’t rely on just Gabriel’s marks as they could take a round or two to activate. A good strategy would be to tag her with girls who also have a high critical rate like Nobunaga, Kongming, etc. Nani would be great for the angel as she does critical strike marks as well along with Linky who heals herself with critical strikes.

how To defeat her

Reduce her crit rate and damage with girls like Nobunaga. Focus on taking her out fast with some good damage dealers so she doesn’t get to time to activate her marks.

Hottie

A support girl from house Human…

video guide

The video guide for Kong Ming starts at 46:00.

A support girl from house Human. She is able to give speed and attack boosts to all her allies with her active skill along with also reducing the enemy’s precision. Her basic attack is able to damage 3 enemies at once causing an 80% attack and when she gets below 50% hp she increases her and all allies attack again by 29% and also reduces the enemy’s armor by 29% for 3 rounds.

The Pros

Hottie can be a great support for all your allies. Her speed increases will help them get the initiative at the beginning of the round and a 20% attack boost will make a difference. She could also be a great support for blockers. Reducing the enemy’s precision will help with her allies’ chances for blocking.

The Cons

Hottie will not contribute much with damage to your team. She is also one of the ‘older’ girls in the meta so her base stats are below average now (apart from defense), plus she can be crowd controlled.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade along with the “Fate Guide” antique for a boost in energy and skill damage or the “Fusion Umbrella” for additional defenses and control immunity.

Squad setup

She works well with girls who can take advantage of petrifying. Tag her with Sakura and Valeera (who gets extra damage from petrifying) and Esau & Jacob (who also petrify). You can also use Sapphire as a budget tag team option if you have none of the other girls.

How To defeat her

Her main function will be to boost her allies. So stop her from doing that by crowd controlling her and use a damage dealer to take her out quickly.

Blowie

She can be useful in most game modes, both PvP and PvE, that’s why she is one of the most used girls in Girls X Battle 2…

Blowie is a really potent healer from the house of Humans (filthy muggles). She can be useful in most game modes, both PvP and PvE, that’s why she is one of the most used girls in Girls X Battle 2. Storm Rush is her active, and as a side effect, it’s attacking two random foes for some damage. More importantly, it’s healing your entire team for 3 rounds and it has some additional chance to heal them for a huge sum. Because she has low speed, she will probably use the ability last and actually heal your team as max as possible. Unfortunately, this also means that she can’t be used as often and that Blowie needs someone to boost her speed and unlock her full potential. Soft Wind will enable your basic hits to gain some additional attack and heal a random teammate for half of the amount and it’s lasting a few rounds. Soul of the Wind is making her sturdier while further increasing her offense. Wind Fairy is kinda like the last stand. When Blowie gets under 30% health, she will heal everyone in the team, but this can only be triggered once.

Linky

Linky is a girl who has great abilities for PVE situations…

video guide

The video guide for Kong Ming starts at 7:40.

Linky is a girl who has great abilities for PVE situations. She is able to deal a 255% attack to 2 random enemies along with a 25% attack reduction and tags a hornet mark which increases the damage taken by the target by 45%. Her passive ability allows her to receive a 280% attack. Her basic also does 110% attack and tags 2 random enemies with a hornet mark which increases the damage of the target by 35%.

The Pros

Linky is great in PVE situations. Her marks are able to increase the damage that Guild bosses will take by massive amounts! These marks will also increase the damage of the whole team so the entire team takes advantage of these damage increases which also stack making them even more effective. “The heart of steel” skill will help to sustain her HP and keep her alive in tough rounds. You can increase the success of this skill with the lab. Also, her base power is very high compared to other girls.

The Cons

Linky is not good for PVP because her skills are limited to only 2 random enemies and may take too long to become effective. She has no resistance to crowd control or counter abilities for it.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the speed/hp dragon jade or crit/damage along with the “Golden Apple” antique for extra attack and crit damage or the “Queens Crown” for a reduction in damage and increase in hp.

Squad setup

For PVE situations tag her with Priestess as they can both build up damage marks. I would suggest a healer or support girl, to cover Linky for defenses as she may not trigger a critical. You could also get a girl to boost her energy and increase the chances of healing herself.

How To defeat her

Linky’s healing is the biggest problem. Use a girl like Nnobunaga to reduce her crit and crit damage. Linky is not a frontline attacker so you could use Psychic to drop down her defenses and defeat her with a big damage dealer.

Muppet

Another hero that looks perfect on paper, but in reality, there are better options for PvP.

A damage dealer from house Monster. Muppet active skill ‘muppet string’ is able to deal 200% attack damage to frontline enemies and if the enemy has lower hp than muppet then she will deal an extra 18% damage (based on the enemies’ maximum health) and increase her attack by 15% and reduce their armor by 15%. Her basic attack ‘muppet curse III’ does 100% attack damage and steals the enemies armor by 25% for 3 rounds. Her passive skill ‘Muppet Shield III’ increases her hp by 40%, attack by 35%, and armor by 40%. Her other active skill ‘muppet awaken III’ increases her crit by 60% and her crit damage by 100% after round 3.

The Pros

Muppet is good at debuffing and dealing damage. A 200% to 1-2 enemies isn’t much but she makes up for this with the percent based attack. The fact she can steal the enemies attack makes her able to turn the tables on the team.

She truly shines at round 3 so increase her defenses and have someone heal her hp to help survive at least until then. Is also worth noting that her base hp and armor are above average.

The Cons

Round 3 can be a long time to wait for her additional crit damage and she may be taken out before that happens. She also has no resistances to crowd control and has a low base attack stat.

Equipment setup

I would recommend the atk/hp or crit/hp dragon jade along with the ‘Fusion Umbrella’ antique for increased defenses, control immunity and attack or the ‘Last Hope’ antique for extra damage to assassins and a boost in attack.

Squad setup

Thanks to her high hp and defense stats she is best suited in the frontline of your team to absorb damage and debuff the enemies. She’s not a finisher so have at least a couple of damage dealers and a healer to support with survival.

How To defeat her

Take her out before round 3. As she has high armor use a girl who does holy damage i.e (some angel faction girls) or percent based attacks. Reduce/steal her high armor to support the damage dealers.

Dracula

A damage dealer from house Ghost…

video guide

A damage dealer from house Ghost. Her active ‘bat blast’ is able to deal 180% to 4 enemies and has a 100% chance to stun enemy mages for 2 rounds, dealing extra 180% of attack damage. Her passive skill ‘weal point III’ is able to increase her armor by 40%, attack by 25% and hp by 15%. Her other passive skill ‘deadly attack’ III is able to target an enemy with the lowest hp, and deal 130% attack damage plus reduce their armor by 20%. Her 4th skill ‘death break III’ gives her 400% hp recovery, increases armor break by 40% and crit by 20% when her hp is below 80%, for 5 rounds.

The Pros

Dracula has great regeneration abilities. It is possible for one 10* star Dracula to take out a whole 9* team thanks to this healing ability. Her stun ability and armor break helps to open up the enemy team for more damage while the healing ability could possibly keep her alive long enough.

The Cons

Dracula is not built to deal a lot of damage. She also has no resistance to crowd control.

Equipment setup

I would recommend “The Fusion Umbrella”  for an increase in defenses, control immunity and attack, or “The Bloody Rose” which deals extra damage to assassin class enemies and boost hp if your girl is from the ghost faction. For the dragon jade I would recommend speed/hp dragon jade.

Squad setup

Tag her with girls that deal good damage or you could combine her in defensive composition since she helps with crowd control so she could help in gaining an advantage.

How To defeat her

If you can avoid having any mage girls in your team so she can’t take advantage of stun, you need to try and one-shot her before 50% health so she can’t use her healing ability. If you cant do this then at least lower the healing rate with a girl such as Wraith. Apart from that just cause massive damage against her.
