The Witcher Netflix release date was accidentally revealed and it’s apparently in December 2019. The show was pinned down as a 2019 release, so this isn’t much, but at least we know we are going to have a Merry Christmas. The exact date is not set, but with all the delightful accomplishments of the seventh art coming this winter, December is going to be a month of joy and happiness unlike never before.
The White Wolf came to the center of attention when Henry Cavil (Man of Steel) appeared in the teaser trailer bulked up and looking ready to play the hell out of the character of Geralt. Social Media accounts for Netflix’s upcoming series were all hush-hush, but it appears that their Netherlands publication revealed the wait time for the series’ premiere, and it was spotted first by Redanian Intelligence.
The posts are now deleted of course, but the cat’s out of the bag, or the White Wolf to be more precise. The publication reportedly accidentally pinned The Witcher as a “97 days wait starting September 11”, which makes it a December 17 release, it the leaks are to be trusted. The Facebook post screenshot below is taken and reposted by many reliable online sources:
As it is shown, it not only mentioned The Witcher TV series, but also the “secret” Breaking Bad movie, Peaky Blinders season 5, and many others. On the other side of the news, in December, we also have to look forward to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which will complete the third trilogy and possibly bring the entire saga to a full circle, as it is seeing the return of Sheev Palpatine, and Ian McDiarmid in the role of our favorite galactic emperor.
