ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion out now on Android

After high anticipation, ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion is out on Android devices! ROME: Total War mobile transition was announced earlier this year and Feral Interactive has just concluded their press release do to this game arriving on Android. This Smartphone edition is a standalone expansion, which is why it deserves such special attention.

Barbarian Invasion is Feral Interactive’s standalone expansion designed to bring ROME: Total War to mobile devices, specifically iOS and Android. Although the game is an expansion to the main Total War series, developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA for PC, this Barbarian Invasion was released earlier for iPhones and iPads.

Out now on Google Play, ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion Android costs $4.99 but comes as a premium game, free of any in-app purchases. On the App Store, ROME: Total War BI iOS costs the same and has scored a high 4.7-star rating. The short announcement trailer for the Android version is out now:

Barbarian Invasion, or BI for short, brings the ROME: Total War real-time strategy gameplay, with its signature turn-based out-of-combat system, well known and adored by fans everywhere. It depicts the final years of the famous Roman Empire as the players will attempt to defend it against the Barbarian Invasion or lead the forces that are opting to destroy it. Both iOS and Android versions have brought the full PC experience of the game for mobile devices, with UI adaptations and a special control system, naturally.
