Slowly creeping up, Slender: The Arrival comes next month to Nintendo Switch eShop. Slender: The Arrival release date was in 2013, and so far the game has reaped positive feedback on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Microsoft Windows, and Macintosh OS. After its arrival on Steam, it has since enjoyed “Very Positive” reviews, so naturally, now it comes to Switch.
Slender: The Arrival horror survival video game, developed by Blue Isle Studios, is a commercial version of Slender: The Eight Pages, which was released a year before by an indie developer. The game was reportedly so good that despite being free, Blue Isle bought the rights immediately and remade and fully realized it at once. Both versions are based on the Slender Man on Something Awful forums’ Slender Man entity myth, rumors, and sighting stories.
Slender: The Arrival release date for Nintendo Switch is 20th June 2019, and the game will cost $13.50
As mentioned, this is not the first time Nintendo aficionados encounter this horror game, for it was originally included for Wii U. This is now marketed as an official adaptation of Slender: The Arrival on Nintendo Switch and its development was done in collaboration with the creator of this paranormal phenomenon – Eric “Victor Surge” Knudson. Blue Isle’s Mark Hadley piloted the project on their behalf.
Slender: The Arrival is one of the few rare games based on real-life paranormal phenomenon and stories and it promises to fully immerse Switch users in its horror grip when it comes alive next month. Do not read up on the mythos too much though, for they may make the game even scarier.
