1. Marvel Super War
Marvel Super War mobile game is one of the most recent mobile games featuring everyone’s favorite Marvel superheroes, and it is the first MOBA game that does so. Thus, it has grown to become pretty popular, pretty fast. It is a free-to-play MOBA with an ever growing number of Marvel Heroes and Villains. The gameplay features a familiar 5v5 multiplayer clash of two teams in a battle arena environment, with lanes and minions, items and leveling, and all kinds of goodness. The best part about it is that Marvel characters are designed according to their respective comic book versions, with their powers and looks to match.
2. Marvel Strike Force
Marvel Strike Force mobile game delves more into strategy, which is a slight step away from the usual action Marvel games are generally oriented around. It is a turn-based RPG for mobile devices made by FoxNext Games Los Angeles, released in 2018, and it has so far reaped quite positive reviews. The strategy genre, however, isn’t in any way taking anything away from that certain blend of action and tactics provided by the gameplay, and the hero tier list is just astounding, so it’s a lot of fun overall.
3. Marvel Contest of Champions
Marvel Contest of Champions mobile game came out way back in 2014, but the game endured the test of time, or at least these last 5 years. It has remained relevant with multiple hot titles coming out after it, and has managed to stay popular for both iOS and Android users. It is a mobile fighting game which quite successfully solved the problems fighting games have when porting to mobile devices, which is why it enjoys such popularity today. Also, it is closely based on the Contest of Champions comic book series, which is a welcome bonus.
4. Marvel Future Fight
Developed by Netmarble Games, Marvel Future Fight is a game affiliated directly with Marvel Entertainment, which had certain benefits to the game’s features. One of those features involves an entirely new and immersive story arc which includes all fan-favorite characters. It is also done under Disney’s patronage, so the game truly looks good, with high-end graphics, and a bold blend of action, role-playing, and dungeon crawling. It is available for both single and multiplayer. It came out in 2015 and it still looks like the latest game on the market.
5. Marvel Puzzle Quest
Marvel Puzzle Quest video game covers all popular platforms, including iOS, Android, PC, PS3 & PS4, and both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. It was Marvel’s gaming passion project released in 2013 and it has so far managed to host 187 playable Marvel characters, which is impressive in and of itself. The game is the fourth installment in a series and it is a FTP easy to pick up puzzle game. However, unlike other Marvel games that are more targeting the narrow gaming audience, this one reached out to people not that familiar with mobile games and the Marvel universe, and it presents an easy-to-pick-up game with match-three gameplay, like Bejeweled, that includes RPG and battle elements. Its popularity and reception certainly earned its inclusion.
