Ulefone is Chinese phone and accessories manufacturer, mostly known for its Armor and Power mobile phone series, mid-range devices with enduring battery power. However, their T series is meant to be a flagship phone, with immense performances and top-notch design (both metaphorically and literally). The latest phone in the series, Ulefone T2 Pro was announced in Barcelona at the 2018 Mobile World Congress, along with lots of beautiful smartphones that were unveiled throughout this week at the MWC2018 in Barcelona.
The T2 Pro is the Ulefone’s answer for the mobile markets requirements in the new season. The most prominent features of this device are dual rear 16MP + 16MP camera, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage space, and many more. More of that in the rest of the article.
Concerning the design, T2 Pro is definitely the best looking Ulefone smartphone thus far. It’s made completely from Aluminum Alloy and covered in glass, and it reflects light in the most subtle way. You won’t have sun rays in your screen preventing you from seeing what’s going on and hindering your gameplay. The beauty of the device is emphasized by the dual rear camera in a horizontal position at the top left.
The Ulefone logo at the middle is tiny and mirror-like, just like the Apple logo on the iPhone 8. On the side, the volume keys and power button are present by the right. The phone is really thin and light, having only 7.7 mm in thickness, and weighing just 159g overall. It’s available in Black, Gold and Silver colors. Even after long hours of gaming, you won’t get tired of holding it.
Being bezel-less and beautiful, the T2 Pro’s screen is simply breathtaking. From the front, it looks like the iPhone X, but the little bottom bezel would easily give it away. The top-notch is packed, housing the selfie camera, ambient light sensor, and speaker grille.
The screen is 6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen, supporting the resolution of 1080 x 2258 pixels and having 402 pixels per inch density. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the 2.5D curved glass screen, supporting multi-touch and offering scratch resistance, so you don’t have to worry for either graphics display or dents and scratches if you drop your phone in the heat of battle.
The heart of the T2 Pro is the MediaTek Helio P70 chip with Octa-Core processor, clocked at 2.5GHz for a fast performance. It has an ARM Mali-G72 MP4 graphics processor that clocks at 800MHz, 64-bit CPU architecture, and 12nm process technology.
For users who like or need to multitask, there are 4GB of RAM offering smooth switching and fast app launching. The RAM boasts of a memory speed of almost 1GHz. Storage space is impressive 64GB of internal memory, which is upgradeable up to 128GB with a memory card. T2 Pro’s OS is Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with the modified user interface.
For the photography lovers, there are 16MP + 16MP rear cameras. Both of them are able to work together to capture 4K resolution images. The camera is equipped with dual-LED flash and other features that upgrade the quality of photographs that have 4608 x 3456 pixels resolution. On the front side, all the selfie lovers will enjoy 16MP selfie camera so they can take great autoportraits and record videos of 2160 pixels at 30 frames per seconds, 1080 pixels at 60 frames per second or 720 pixels at 120 frames per second.
If you’re worried that all these features will eat the battery away, worry not. Ulefone T2 Pro up is powered by a 3400mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. That means it shouldn’t take more than 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%. With it, you can play all day long without recharging, or to be precise, some 10 hours of full activity.
Ulefone made really amazing flagship that all mobile gamers will embrace instantly. Its performance, powered by mighty hardware and emphasized by the supreme display, will be the dream come true for every gamer. With the price range from $269 to $299, T2 Pro is almost a steal, concerning the specifications that are in the range of the top-liner modern phones. All we have to do is to wait until the phone hits the store, so we could see what this mean machine can do.
