Better late than never! Our Walkthrough for Horsing Around Side Quest is here! As many of you may know already, this side quest is closely related to Hagrid’s friendship, and completing it will reward you with 200 friendship experience. However, in order to complete it, you need to adopt the Abraxan, which can take a while since this majestic winged horse requires 90 red notebooks. Thankfully, this side quest is not time-limited, so you can take your time and slowly collect these. Luckily, the red notebooks can now be obtained as a reward from regular classes, which will make it easier to obtain 90 of them. Shortly after you start the quest, Hagrid will inform you that Professor Dumbledore has a special assignment for you.
However, this assignment can be quite dangerous, so after convincing Hagrid you’re the right person for it, he’ll tell you it involves doing some research about Abraxan in the Magical Creatures Reserve. Thankfully, Penny will be willing to help you with this, which should make everything a bit easier.
Once you adopt the Abraxan, you’ll introduce Penny to it, and this is when you’ll start doing the research.
