Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Helen of Sparta Stage 1-16 of Dress up Time Princess. Previously, you went to the Garden of the Hesperides to get the Golden Apple, so that you can use it to gain an audience with Aphrodite. On your way, you were ambushed by a band of centaurs, but thankfully, your companion managed to chase them off. You were able to reach the garden, and while you were getting the apple, Apollo was distracting the Hesperides, and Achilles took care of the dragon. The whole plan was a success, and now you have what you need to gain an audience with the Goddess of Beauty. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and rewards. After obtaining the Golden Apple, the three of you will regroup at the village. Apollo will be very satisfied with the way things played out. He’ll cheekily ask for your smile as a reward.

Achilles will look at him and say he’s all talk and no action. Apollo will ask if he would prefer punching the Hesperides out of the Garden one at a time. He’ll advise your bodyguard to treat girls gently.

Once again, you’ll be caught in the middle of their arguing. You’ll try to change the subject and remind them that you need to see Aphrodite. Apollo will advise you to change into an appropriate outfit. After all, you’ll be getting an audience with the Goddess of Beauty herself.

For this occasion, you should pick clothes and accessories with Grand and Warm tags. Starry Dreams earrings are required here. Thankfully, they have the appropriate tags, which should considerably increase your score.

Upon arriving at the Temple, Apollo will ask you to offer the Golden Apple to the goddess. You’ll nod and do as he said. Drag the Golden Apple in a direction of the arrow to offer it to Aphrodite.

You will place the apple on the altar and pray to the goddess. You’ll follow the customs that Cassandra taught you and respectfully bow with reverence. Shortly after, you will hear a charming woman’s sigh.

Apollo will ask Aphrodite to show herself and allow him to lay his eyes on the most beautiful goddess on Mount Olympus. You will be shocked by his daring boldness since you definitely don’t want Aphrodite angered.

Much to your surprise, a cloud of smoke will rise from the altar, and in it, a figure of a woman will appear. You’ll quickly realize it is Aphrodite. She’ll look at Apollo and ask why he brought a mortal before her.

As it seems, Apollo was right when he said he knew Aphrodite. He’ll smile at you and calmly tell the goddess why you wanted an audience with her. After listening to his words, she will say she’s just a pitiful woman tormented by longing. Achilles will find her words odd, especially since she’s a goddess.

Apollo will explain that the gods also feel emotions, just like people. He’ll cheekily smile at Aphrodite and assume that she must be burdened by love. She’ll look at him, clearly upset by his words.

Apollo will decide not to tease her any further and ask if there’s anything three of you can do for her. You’ll wonder if you can be of any help as mere mortals. He’ll say that you can at least try to be helpful.

Aphrodite will say that she wants you to find Adonis in the underworld for her. An extraordinary looking pocket mirror will suddenly appear in front of you. She’ll ask you to take it, give it to Adonis, and tell him she’s longing to reunite with him.

She’ll tell you to find her again once you finish the task. Moments later, Aphrodite’s figure will disappear in a puff of smoke. You will still be in a state of shock after witnessing the presence of a deity. Apollo will notice it and tell you not to worry.

You’ll find it extremely odd that he knows so much, so you’ll ask him to tell you who he really is. Once again, he will simply say he’s a stranger who knows things you don’t. Achilles will look at him with suspicion, but he won’t say a word.

In the end, you will decide to leave the temple. Just as you were about to exit, a boy carrying a bow will arrive. Apollo will look at him and say that the bow he’s carrying is not a toy. He will also call the boy Eros.

You’ll ask Apollo about the boy, and he will inform you that Eros is Aphrodite’s son. He’ll reach for the bow, but the boy won’t let him take it. Apollo will tell him he’s not old enough to carry it around. He’ll even use the opportunity to mock him.

Eros will not take Apollo’s words kindly, and he will dare him to repeat them. Your companion will decide not to mock the boy any further, and he’ll ask Achilles and you to leave the temple with him.

As soon as he turns around, Eros will draw the bow at him. A golden arrow will appear in the bow and moments later, it will fly directly towards Apollo and hit him in the back. The boy will turn towards you, and aim again in your direction.

Achilles will swiftly step in and shove you aside. Unfortunately, the arrow will end up hitting him. You’ll immediately run to his side and ask if he’s all right. The arrow will disappear shortly after hitting him, and there won’t be any visible signs of injury.

Your bodyguard will find it strange since he won’t feel any pain, and the arrow vanishing after hitting him will only make things more confusing. Eros will laugh and say that his arrows are not meant to hurt people. You will suddenly remember the legend about Eros and his arrows.

Eros will quickly run away, and Apollo will take a look at Achilles and give him a passionate smile. You’ll ask if he is okay. He’ll say that he’s all right and continue looking at your bodyguard. He’ll then start praising his beauty.

Needless to say, Achilles will not like his flirting. He will assume that Apollo is mocking him once again. You will quickly remind him about the arrow and say that Apollo is talking like that because he was struck by it.

Apollo will be visibly hurt by Achilles’ rejection. You will ask him to turn around and avoid looking at your bodyguard. You will also turn Achilles away and remind him it’s all just because of the effects of the arrow.

After managing to separate them, Apollo will come to his senses and start focusing on the task Aphrodite gave you. He’ll say that the only way into the underworld is crossing the River Styx. And to do that, you will have to take Charon’s boat.

Unfortunately, only the dead are allowed on his boat. However, there have been some exceptions in the past. You’ll ask Apollo about it, and he’ll say that Orpheus once managed to convince Charon by playing the lyre. Since Apollo is very skilled when it comes to music, he will be pretty confident he can do something similar.

Other than that, the entrance to the underworld is guarded by Cerberus, the three-headed hound. Needless to say, getting past him will be quite the challenge.

Achilles will tell you not to worry, and he’ll be confident he can take care of Cerberus using his fists. He’ll then ask you to go with him. Apollo will be visibly sad about having to separate from Achilles.

You will then get to choose who to go with. This choice will have a heavy impact on the story, so keep that in mind when making a decision.

Go with Apollo
Go with Achilles

If you choose to go with Apollo, you will say there might be something you can do to help him. On one hand, he will be sad having to leave Achilles, but on the other, he will be glad that you are going with him. Picking this option will grant you some Goodwill with Apollo and unlock Stage 1-17 upon completing the stage.

Once again, Achilles will feel uncomfortable and angry by hearing Apollo’s words, and he will suggest throwing him into the Styx, so that he can come back to his senses. You will calmly ask him to go and say that you will take care of Apollo.

Achilles will ask you to be careful and say that he’ll deal with the creature. You’ll nod and ask him to take care of himself. Shortly after, you will leave the temple with Apollo.

Back to Previous Choice

If you choose to go with Achilles, you’ll tell Apollo you believe he can convince Charon on his own. Picking this option will grant you some Goodwill with Achilles and unlock Stage 1-18 upon completing the stage.

Apollo will cheekily smile and suggest switching places with you. You’ll realize that he’s still under the effects of Eros’ arrow and say he’s speaking nonsense. Achilles will advise you to go as soon as possible. You will agree with him, and soon enough, both of you will leave Aphrodite’s temple.
