Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 1 Stage 12 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, you met with the King in the gardens and discussed how to deal with the whole situation surrounding the diamond necklace. After making the decision, you went back to your chambers to await further news. Now is the time to find out what happened. The stage window will display all the relevant information.
Several days after talking to Blaisdell, you will finally decide to pay him a visit and see the results of his investigation. He will be very surprised to see you arrive at his residence. Nevertheless, he will greet you warmly and he will be more than happy to report the situation.
He will let you know that Jeanne has been caught and brought to the dungeons. You will be curious to know the details. Blaisdell will explain that the Cardinal was indeed used by Jeanne, who apparently has a noble lineage.
However, despite that, she has lived most of her life in poverty. As a child, she even had to beg in order to survive. Later on, she managed to marry a count, but her finances weren’t that good. Because of that, she came to Paris and became an aristocrat’s mistress. She approached the Cardinal claiming to be one of your close friends and forged a letter in order to get rich. She figured out you would be the perfect target.
Blaisdell will reassure you there’s nothing to worry about. After all, one trickster such as Jeanne cannot ruin the entire kingdom so easily. As for her accomplice, it seems that Jeanne has already dealt with her. You will be very shocked to hear that.
You will ask Blaisdell to give that woman a proper burial if he manages to find her body. He will nod in agreement but will still be curious to know why you are so merciful towards a mere criminal. Sadly, you won’t know how to answer that question.
Blaisdell will then inform you that the King made the decision to let you choose how to deal with Jeanne. You can choose to confine her to a nunnery or exile her. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to take your pick.
Upon leaving Blaisdell’s residence, you will get back into the carriage. You will be very exhausted and you will quickly fall asleep. After a while, you will be awoken by the sound of something. Suddenly, a strange figure will appear in front of you. You will quickly ask this person to introduce himself.
The person will introduce himself as d’Eon, saying he works for the King. He will also say you can call him “Madame Beaumont”. This will add d’Eon to Companions.

You will think for a while since you never heard the King mentioning such a person. You will compose yourself and ask d’Eon to leave. He will reply in a witty way. Still, you will sternly point out that he barged into your carriage unannounced.
He will be surprised you don’t believe him, and he’ll ask if anything troubles you. Once again, you will coldly reply and say you are fine. He will quickly grab your left hand and kiss it before leaping out of the moving carriage.
Once you get back to the palace, you will ask the King if d’Eon is working for him. After hesitating for a moment, Louis XVI will tell you that d’Eon is a spy and a highly skilled swordsman who is indeed working for him. Reassured, you will return to your chambers.
