Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Queen Marie Chapter 2 Stage 6 of Dress up Time Princess. During the previous stage, while strolling through the garden, you were attacked by a hired assassin. Luckily enough, you were saved by the timely intervention of either Fersen or Lafayette, and the assassin was quickly apprehended. Later on, d’Eon found out that the assassin was sent by none other than Gabrielle’s husband, Duke Polignac. Thankfully, Gabrielle had nothing to do with this, and her husband was the mastermind behind the whole scheme. Furthermore, d’Eon discovered a huge pile of valuables in the Polignac family mansion, and that was all the proof King needed to banish Duke Polignac from France. Gabrielle and the other family members who were not involved in his schemes were allowed to seek forgiveness in the abbey. As for the other nobles, they all eventually agreed to pay their taxes, and the whole country should soon start moving towards a better future. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and the rewards. Hit Start once you are ready to begin.
Several months after dealing with the nobles, France will finally start to prosper. The reputation of the royal court will be restored, and everything will seem much better.
After waking up, you will spend some time sitting by the window, observing the landscape. Madam Deniau will inform you that the breakfast session is nearly over. You will ask her to keep you company for a while longer.
She’ll be surprised by your request, but she won’t reject it. She’ll slowly approach you and ask if something’s bothering you. You’ll say you are wondering if the changes you’ve made resulted in people living better lives now. You will remember that the Polignac family has fallen. Gabrielle and the rest of her family who had nothing to do with Duke Polignac scheme are now leading simple lives.
Unfortunately, Madam Deniau won’t be able to answer your question. However, she will advise you to interact with the people directly if you are keen on finding the answer.
You’ll like the idea, and you’ll be eager to go out as soon as possible. Still, Madam Deniau will remind you there are some things you should do first, such as greet the King, visit, the other noble ladies, and so on. You’ll ask if it is okay to go out after you’ve done all those things.
She’ll nod and say that your breakfast shall be ready in a bit. Shortly after finishing all of the things on your daily schedule, you will start preparing to go out. For this occasion, you should pick the clothes and accessories with Simple and Noble tags.
Once you’re done dressing up, you’ll be ready to go. Madam Deniau will inform you that the King doesn’t want you to go alone, so you will have to take someone with you. You can choose either Fersen or Lafayette. The rest of the stage will be different, based on this decision.
If you choose Fersen, you will gain some Goodwill with him, and the two of you will get in the carriage and set off for the Parisian marketplace. Upon arriving, you will notice a lot of people in the marketplace. It will seem very lively and crowded.
Fersen will explain that after the tax reform, the burden on the common people has lessened, which allowed them to live better. Also, the people are very appreciative of the royal family’s actions, and they praise the Queen for helping them. On top of that, thanks to the land reform, the farmers don’t have to worry about the lack of food anymore.
You’ll point out you weren’t the only one who decided to introduce the land reform. Still, Fersen will say that you were the one who made it possible. Thanks to the changes you made, the King and the others had the courage to introduce the land reform.
Fersen will go on and praise you for quite a while. You’ll feel enchanted by his eyes and quietly smile and listen to him. He’ll notice you being silent and ask if everything is all right. You will smile and say you are simply so happy listening to his praises.
He’ll admit he is very proud of you and extremely honored to be your knight. You’ll chuckle at him and ask him to stop teasing you. Shortly after, you’ll decide to go to a pub and listen to what the people are saying.
Upon arriving at the pub, you’ll notice that the place is very crowded. Fersen will put his arm around you protectively as you make your way to the bar. He’ll order the drinks for both of you.
After a bit of thought, you will decide to have the same drink as Fersen, so you’ll also order whisky. Your companion will be surprised by your choice, and you’ll tease him a bit and remind him it’s a day for celebration.
Fersen will be worried about you getting drunk, but you will reassure him you can hold your liquor. And also, he’s there by your side, so you have nothing to worry about.
You will notice Fersen’s face starting to go red, and moments later, your drinks will arrive. You’ll quickly finish your drink, and soon after, you’ll start feeling dizzy. Just before you complain to Fersen about not liking the taste of the drink, the conversation between two men nearby will draw your attention.
Both of them will happily drink, saying that now that the taxes have been lessened, they are able to save more money. One of them will praise the King loudly for introducing the tax reform.
Needless to say, you will feel happy that the tax reform resulted in people being able to live better. You’ll smile and feel that all of the efforts you’ve put in and all the sacrifices are finally paying off.
Shortly after, the whisky will start taking effect. As soon as you turn to Fersen, you will see two of him standing in front of you. You’ll get confused and ask if he has a twin brother.
Fersen will decide to take you back to the palace, and he will gently escort you to the carriage. From there on, you won’t remember much except his gentle and caring voice.

If you choose Lafayette, you will gain some Goodwill with him. The two of you will get in the carriage and set off for the Parisian marketplace. Once you arrive, you will thank Lafayette for being so kind as to accompany you.
The Marquis will smile at you and say there was no reason for him to turn you down. After all, you are just thinking of the future of France. He’ll also admit he would agree even if you wanted him to accompany you for some other reason.
Before you get the chance to react to that, he will say that France is heading towards a brighter future, thanks to the changes you’ve made. He will point at the marketplace as proof of that. You will be very happy to see the results of your effort and hard work.
Lafayette will suggest visiting a certain place. Apparently, the people there have a present for you. You’ll be curious about it, but he’ll insist on being secretive for a while longer.
This will make you even more curious. You will reach a food cart in the center of the marketplace, and as you approach it, you will sense a familiar smell. For a moment, you will wonder if your senses are deceiving you.
Lafayette will introduce you to Chris and Tres, the children who are manning the cart. As soon as they see you, huge smiles will appear on their faces and they will bring you a piece of gugelhupf. One of them will even call you Angel of Austria.
Tres will correct Chris, saying they should call you “your Majesty”. However, Chris will insist on calling you “angel”. In the end, Lafayette will settle the matter saying you won’t mind them calling you “angel”.
You will feel extreme happiness, and nod your head in approval. As soon as you do, the children will start shouting excitedly. After a short while, you will ask why they are so nice to you.
Tres will say you helped them at Notre-Dame. You will suddenly remember the faces of the children at Notre-Dame and realize you saw them before. Thankfully, they look much better now, and you will feel warmth in your chest knowing that your efforts have not been in vain.
You’ll then get to try their gugelhupf. Upon taking a bite, the taste will instantly remind you of your homeland and of Gabrielle. You will be curious to know who taught them to make it.
Chris will say it was a lady at the abbey. He’ll describe her as a gentle and pretty angel. You will instantly assume it was Gabrielle, and upon looking at Lafayette, he will nod and confirm it.
You will ask him about Gabrielle. Lafayette will say she’s still the same, just more stable and calmer than before. She is now able to focus on God and prays for her family to be forgiven. She told Lafayette she can’t do much for you now, but she prays to God for your happiness and wellbeing every day.
You will be happy knowing she is all right. Lafayette will continue, saying that he found these children at the entrance of the abbey. He wanted to give them some money to buy food, but Gabrielle stopped him. Instead, she taught them how to bake pastries so that they could rely on themselves to earn a living.
Tres will happily confirm Lafayette’s story, saying that the pastries are very popular. You will feel incredibly happy just by hearing this. Lafayette will admit he never had the opportunity to get to know Gabrielle better, but he is certain she deserves to be respected.
You won’t be able to suppress your emotions, and shortly after, tears will start running down your face. The children will notice it and ask why you are crying. You will gently ruffle their hair and tell them to be good to each other and value their friendship no matter what.
The children will happily nod their heads, promising to be friends. Tres will also say he wants to protect Miss Angel. You will smile at Tres and gently pat him on the head. Chris will be a bit jealous seeing this and shortly after, they will start arguing about who gets to protect you. Suddenly, Lafayette will interfere, saying he’ll be the one to protect you.
You will look at him for a bit, and notice the gentle smile on his face. At that very moment, you will know he will do everything in his power to keep you safe and protect you from any harm.
