As it was rumored before, CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the last installation from the critically acclaimed series, is coming to Switch. Witcher 3 Nintendo Switch will see a complete edition of the chapter, as it was announced on their E3 2019 presentation and it will come this year. CD Project Red expose also showed it will be launched in both retail and digital edition but no exact release date was set.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won over 800 accolades and awards and was chosen for the Game of the Year 250 times. It is definitely one of the most critically and commercially acclaimed games of our times. Now, it is seeking to increase its audience range to handheld Nintendo Switch device. It comes in its Complete Edition so it will bring all of the goodies that were available so far.

If this is true, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will bring over 150 full gameplay hours on Nintendo Switch. The best part is that the game is so easily accessible and can be played on the go, which will certainly exploit Switch accessories. Also, both expansion stories are included, Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone, and it comes with 16 free DLCs. Saber Interactive will handle the Nintendo Switch porting process and it is promised to come by the end of 2019.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition included special physical goodies and it is, as of yet, unknown which if any will be contained in the Nintendo Switch version. The retail version is bound to offer some bonus content and goodies, like maps and sticker that were included in the PC version, but the Limited Edition The Witcher Universe Compendium is still unaccounted for.

Coming to a Nintendo console for the first time, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Switch is bound to build a bridge between the publishers as well as broaden the already wide reach of the game. The game already sold over 40 million copies and is now expected to capitalize greatly with this porting.
