BattleRise: Kingdom of Champions is as of recently in its alpha stage, as Triumph Games and Triumph Workshops celebrate their triumph by releasing the details of their upcoming game. This collectible fantasy RPG is said to combine a unique loot drop system never before seen in gaming with engaging and immersive turn-based strategy battles, and all in a hero collector genre base. It also layers it all with a captivating story, and at this alpha stage we can register and try it out to see just what they mean.
The trailer shows the basic gameplay setup and teases the overarching story, while the game seems to hide much more than seen at first glance. The players begin with a small group of champions, as it is traditional in hero collectors, and we build up from there. Some of the heroes known to us so far include Seraphim, Hollow Death Lords, sylvan Verdant Offspring, but there are many other factions and heroes to play with. We organize our team and meet the enemy head-on in a turn-based combat system, so far so good.
However, it seems that BattleRise: Kingdom of Champions takes its first victory as a game with its intricate strategizing system, both in and off the battlefield. This level of detailing and amount of factors is rarely ever seen and it all comes in a well-sorted visually comprehensive presentation. Champion lineups, comps, stats, skills, powers, boosts, and many more factors are intricately organized to provide the pleasure that the fans of this genre seek.
Also, the game stands out with its loot drop system, which rewards every action and every minute the player spends in the game. Thus, even failing a battle yields some kind of a reward, while getting the hang of the game’s mechanics, managing your team properly, and winning battles yields rich loot, not to mention it is an incredibly rewarding experience in and of itself.
BattleRise Alpha mobile game is inspired by the classic fantasy themes we all like and features a gripping story for the single-player mode campaign. The late game, of course, blooms with its multiplayer features, like the Arena, providing an endless journey of outsmarting your enemy and becoming a better, more cunning and formidable force. The game also contains standard features like quests, challenges, dungeon runs, and more – all currently available in its alpha stages on iOS and Android, offered by a Polish studio Triumph Workshops, which was previously Sodigital, with over 15 years in the biz.
