5g Cities in the US

Here is the list of 5G cities and regions in the US

5G networks are upon us! As people are waiting for the next-gen evolution step, now we have a list of all US cities and regions that are making the switch to 5G in this first wave. The establishment of this massive new infrastructure and the upgrading of the cellular nation’s basis is a large undertaking. All companies that have integrated 5G with their new flagship devices are eager to give a demonstration and get a jump on the competition, but the actual access is still being plugged by misrepresentations, stipulations, and other complications.

It’s been a long and winding road to establishing this next step in the evolution of mobile networks. Smartphone tech is constantly evolving with expanding capacity, new ideas, and generally all-around improvements. However, big leaps like this take time to reach and perhaps just as much to make. Humanity made the leap from 3G to 4G networks about 5 years ago. As a reference, it was the year when movies like John Wick 1, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and X-Men: Days of Future Past came out. Now, flagship cellular phones already jumped at getting their 5G compatibility while the network itself is expected to come alive in 2020, globally.

However, some cities in the US are already seeing perhaps some small instances or blocks of 5G installation. Of course, in order to have access to it, you also need a Smartphone capable enough. Nevertheless, the big four networks in the US are slowly evolving and AT&T is especially vocal about letting people know what is going on. As a result, 5G is expected to be available in soon, perhaps even in the next few months in some cities. Here is a list sorted according to network providers and availability:
