KNIGHT ERRANT

video guide

Knight Errant is an Epic Attack Champion of the Banner Lords faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

His base Speed is 96 which is expected for an Epic Champion, enhance it up to 200. Enhance his HP a significant amount to around 33000. You should concentrate on his Critical damage and enhance it to around 250% and accuracy should be decent because you will need it to place Debuffs.

His first skill “Half-Sword” attacks an enemy and has a 30% chance of placing a Leech debuff for two turns, this skill ignores 30% DEF of the enemy hit. Four books max out the ability and increase the debuff chance from 30% to 50%.

With the second ability “Mordhau” Knight Errant attacks one enemy. With this skill he has a 60% chance of placing Stun for one turn, if he kills an enemy all of his Cooldowns reset. Four books are necessary to maximize this ability by increasing the damage by 10% and the Debuff Chance from 60% to 90%.

Knight Errant attacks one enemy with his third ability “Death Warrant”. With this skill, he has a 60% chance of placing a 25% Weaken debuff for 2 turns. The damage output of this ability is increased by 75% if this Champion has full HP. Four books help maximize this ability by increasing damage by 10% and increase the Debuff chance from 60% to 100%.

And finally, he has an Aura that increases the Ally Defense in dungeons by 32%.

He is not too useful to be fully booked. If you have luck try to place one Book on the third ability only increasing its damage.

Gear wise give him a shield set, it will be necessary to keep his HP at 100% for his third ability. Go for Gauntlets with Crit Damage and Crit Rate as a sub stat and try to synergize with the Amulet and pick one with Crit Damage for the main stat. The Banner should be Accuracy, go with the Attack ring and Speed Boots. Knight Errant has the most utility in the Arena Offense, Minotaur, Force keep, Spirit keep, Void Keep, and Faction Wars. He is somewhere in the middle of good and bad for Dragon and Ice Golem. He is useless in the Campaign, Arena Defense, Spider, Magic Keep, and Fire Knight. You should use the Masteries from the Attack and Support trees. You’ll want to finish up the masteries in the Attack tree with [Flawless Execution]. Knight Errant is not a great champion overall and you probably shouldn’t put too many resources into him, but you can have some use out of him in the Arena.

MARKED

video guide

Marked is a Rare Support champion from the Barbarians faction. Her affinity is Magic, meaning that she is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Her first ability “Dance of Blades” attacks one enemy. She has a 30% chance of placing a 30% Decrease Defense debuff for a turn. Five books only increase the Debuff chance from 30% to 80%.

Her second skill “Punishment of Gods” is an AoE that places a 25% Debuff of Decrease Accuracy for two turns. To fully book this ability you’ll need four books, three of them increase the damage output and the last one decreases the cooldown from 4 to 3 turns.

The third ability “Totemic Power” places a Buff that blocks debuffs for a turn and increases the Defense on all allies for two turns. Three books are needed to maximize this skill by reducing its cooldown from 6 to 3 turns.

Marked has an Aura as well through which she increases the Defense of Allies by 15% in Faction Crypts.

To fully max out all her abilities you will need twelve Rare books. If you want to book her effectively and with a little luck, you only need to book her second and third abilities.

She is best used in the Support role since you will struggle to get her to be a Damage Dealer. So gear-wise aim to increase her Speed and Accuracy. Although be careful with her speed since her third ability lasts for a turn so if she uses it at the beginning of the match she will waste it, but it depends on what you want because her first and second abilities do benefit from high speed. For a Support character If you have it available use an Accuracy banner, the amulet should increase Defense and the ring should boost either Defense or HP, use boots of Speed. Marked goes very well in line with the Scyl of the Drakes specifically in Faction Wars. Marked is good for Campaign farming and the last stages of Faction Wars. She is great in the Void Keep and Faction Wars, she’s somewhat solid in Dragon, Arena, Campaign, Ice Golem, and Minotaur. She is not really great nor really bad at Spider, Arena Defense, Clan Boss, Magic Keep, Spirit Keep, and Force Keep. The Fire Knight is her worst instance.

When diving into her masteries go down the Offense and Support trees. If you want her as a Damage dealer go down to [War Master] in the Offense tree. In the Support tree, you will need [Lasting gifts] to increase the duration of her Defense Buffs while [Master Hexer] increases her Debuffs.

APOTHECARY

video guide

One of the best Rare Champions in Raid Shadow Legends.

His basic skill “Scatterbolt” attacks three times in a row at random. Four books are needed to max out this ability with an additional 25% of damage.

The second ability “Soothing Chant” heals an ally by 35% of HP – this heal can Crit, but crit damage doesn’t affect it at all, only Crit rate. This ability can be maxed out with four books that increase the healing percentage from 35% to 50%, the last book reduces the cooldown from 3 to 2 turns.

The third skill “Boon of Speed” buffs the speed of all allies by 30% for two turns. The turn meter of all allies is filled by 15%. Two books max out this ability by reducing the cooldown from 5 to 3 turns.

Apothecaries Aura increases the Defense of all allies in Dungeons by 21%.

Apothecary is pretty good in everything except for the Campaign and he won’t be useless even there. Speed should be the most valued stat – try to get it above 200. Increased Speed makes his casting rotations go faster all the while his third ability increases the Speed even further, making it stack exponentially. With that in mind go equip him with boots of speed. For the Chestplate you should probably aim for HP, and try to get one with HP percentage. Gauntlets should increase the Crit Rate. In his masteries go down the Offense and Support trees. In the Support Tree try to get down to [Lasting Gifts]. In the Offense Tree aim to get to [Giant Slayer] because it bodes so well with his Basic ability and it will be helpful in any Dungeon and instance that he finds himself in.

KAEL

video guide

Kael is a Rare Attack champion from the Dark Elves faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

His base speed of 103 is pretty good.

His first ability is “Dark Bolt”. It attacks an enemy and has an 80% chance of placing a 2.5% Poison debuff for two turns. If you want to fully book this skill it will take 6 books and increase the damage and Debuff chance by 20%.

The second ability is “Acid Rain” which is an AoE that has a 15% chance of inflicting a critical. This ability fills the Turn Meter of this champion by 25% for each enemy killed. When fully booked this ability’s damage is increased by 20%.

The third ability “Disintegrate” attacks four times at random and has a 40% chance of placing a 5% poison debuff for 2 turns. When fully booked it has a 20% damage increase, 10% of Debuff increase, and reduces the cooldown.

Kael has an Aura as well and it increases the HP of all allies by 15% in all battles.

Gear wise try to get his Crit Rate to around 100%, and he will need to have over 100% Crit Damage. Speed is also crucial for his build. He shines in a Lifesteal set if you want to use him for farming in the campaign or the Clan Boss, but for the Arena, he is better in the speed and damage sets. He is the best Rare for Campaign farming. When leveled up he is a beast in the Arena, while Clan Boss and Dungeons are a piece of cake for Kael.

For masteries is the best going down the Offense and Support trees. In the Offense tree try to go down to [Warmaster]. Through the Offense tree also increase your Crit Rate and Crit Damage. In the support tree increase Accuracy down to [Master Hexer] to increase the duration of his Poison Debuffs.

SKYTOUCHED SHAMAN

video guide

Skytouched Shaman is an Epic Support champion from the Barbarians faction. Her affinity is Void meaning that she has no advantages or disadvantages against any other affinity.

Her base speed is 102 which is fast. Her base HP is decent standing around 18000, while base Defense is moderate on 1100.

Her first skill “Talon Knives” is an AoE. If her health is 50% or higher her Turn Meter is enhanced by 20%, but if it falls under 50% she heals herself by 15% of the damage inflicted on the enemy. Books only increase the Damage of this skill ( when maxed out it will be increased by 35%).

The second skill “Immortal Skies” removes all Debuffs off of allies, blocks all further Debuffs, and revives anyone that dies. With two books you will max out this ability by reducing the cooldown from 6 to 4 turns.

The Passive “Bloodstain Ritual” subtracts the current HP points from her MAX HP and then heals all allies with the half of that subtraction, meaning the less her current HP is the bigger her Heal is. Outside of the healing process of allies, she is damaged by 10% of her MAX HP, her Speed is decreased by 30% for 1 turn at the start of each turn and she has a 50% chance of being debuffed by Fear for a turn. When fully Booked she will heal by 20% more.

Her Aura increases the Health of all Allies in all Battles by 25%.

If you want to get the most out of this Champion with using the least amount of books and a little luck aim to get her second and third ability maxed out.

Shaman is amazing in Faction Wars, Ice Golem’s Peak, and Void Keep, she’s good in the Arena, Clan Boss, and the Dragon’s Lair. She’s somewhat okay in Campaign, Spider’s Den, Minotaur, Force Keep, Magic keep, and Spirit Keep.

You don’t need any Accuracy on Shaman since she has no Debuffs. Aim to get the highest amount of HP with the Amulet, Ring, and Banner. As for Gauntlets, Chestplate, and Boots you should aim, HP. All items should have good HP substats.

Skytouched Shaman is a very interesting Champion that can have many different combinations of Masteries and item sets depending on what you want. She can boost her first ability with a Stun set and become suppressive, she can Max out her HP, Lifesteal with [War Master]. You can keep her from Ascending and only use her as a Healer/Debuffer that blocks Stuns, which is useful against the Clan Boss. In Masteries you can combine Defense and Support, Offense, and Support. [War Master] can help her a lot in the late game against the Boss of Faction wars, increasing her damage can help out in sustaining her since she is so prone to damage herself. The [Lasting Gifts] will help extend the duration of the Block Debuff from her second ability. She can also go in the Defense tree down to [Fearsome Presence] with a Fear Set because of the AoE attack of her first Ability. If you want to keep Shaman alive put her in the team with Scyl of the Drakes because her Passive ” Boundless life” negates the Shaman’s loss of HP from the “Bloodstain Ritual”. Scyl also has the ability “Pheonix Rite” that revives an Ally with 50% of their health and a 50% Ally protection Buff. Both Shaman and Scyl are in the Barbarians faction and are practically made for each other.

LORD SHAZAR

video guide

Lord Shazar is a Legendary Attack champion from the Demonspawn faction. His affinity is Spirit, meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

His base speed is 101 which is pretty good, doubling it will be enough to make him effective. Aim to upgrade Shazar to 100% Crit Rate and get a massive upgrade to his Attack damage and Accuracy. All of these are tied to his “Cruel Fate” Ability that is explained below.

With his first skill “Damnation” he attacks an enemy three times and his damage output is bigger by 15% for each Debuff the target has. With 4 books this ability can be enhanced from 15% to 40% of attack damage for each Debuff the target has.

The second ability “Everlasting Fury” places two Buffs on Shazar that last for two turns – a 50% Increase Attack buff, that cannot be removed, and a Block Debuffs Buff along with an Extra Turn as a topping. This ability only needs one book to be maxed out, and that book reduces the Cooldown from 4 to 3 turns.

The third ability “Cruel Fate” is an AoE that has a 75% chance of placing Bomb debuffs that blow up after two turns, if this ability is a crit they will blow up after one turn. To fully book this ability out you will need five books and in return, you will have a 100% chance of placing these debuffs with increased damage, plus the cooldown will be reduced from 6 to 5 turns.

His Aura increases the Speed of Allies by 32% in Arena. The best Aura for Arena combat.

To fully book the whole character you will need 10 books and they are especially impactful on this champion. But if you don’t have a lot of books to spare and you are lucky, ideally you will only book out the second and third Ability.

He is not that great in the Speed farming set up because his animation of the first ability is too slow and there are even Rares that are better choices for XP farming. The Arena is where he truly shines – aim for teams that have a lot of Defense champions because Shazars Bombs ignore Defense. He is not bad in Campaign, Fire Knight, Minotaur’s Labyrinth, Dragon’s Lair, Force Keep, Ice Golem, Void Keep, Spirit Keep, and Faction Wars. However, he is really bad in Clan Boss, Spider Den, and Magic Keep. As for the equipment, concentrate on the Offense and Crit Rate sets. For this champion it is primary to increase his Crit Rate, Attack percentage, and Accuracy to boost the capabilities of the AoE bomb ability so that you will reliably blow up your opponents after a turn, that will be especially useful in the Arena. Attack gauntlets will fit perfectly on Shazar if you have a Defense team. Attack Boots will boost his third ability tremendously but you can use Speed Boots as well. You can also use a flat Attack Ring and Amulet because you don’t need any Crit Damage. An Accuracy Banner would be very ideal. For the masteries, you will want to go down the Offense and Support trees. In the Support tree activate the [Eagle Eye] Tier 6 mastery for the Accuracy. [Sniper] becomes obsolete if his abilities are maxed out with books, but up until that moment, it is very useful for the Debuff chance increase.

Relickeeper

video guide

RelicKeeper is an Epic Defense champion from the Sacred Order faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit.

When we talk about stats, you’ll want to up his Crit Rate over 100,  and afterward to enhance his Crit Damage since he will Crit all the time.

His first ability ”Crusade” is a single target attack. He is granted an Extra Turn if the target is killed. When fully booked this ability can be enhanced by 25% additional damage.

The second skill ”Surging Strength” is only a Buff that increases his Attack by 50% for 4 turns and Grants an Extra Turn. Two Books can max out this skill by reducing the Cooldown from 6 turns to 4 turns.

The Passive heals him for two turns by 15% with Continuous Heal whenever he was hit by an enemy. Books bring down the Cooldown of this ability from 5 to 3 turns.

He also has an Aura that increases the Attack of all Allies by 40% in Campaign Battles.

His first ability grants him the possibility to wipe out a wave, after, wave, after wave of the enemies which makes him one of the best Champions for the Campaign and XP Farming. If he doesn’t already one-shot an enemy his Passive makes it so that he doesn’t need Life steal equipment in the subsequent turns. The best use for him is to have him as a very aggressive offense champion – basically a glass cannon. He can be quite useful in Arena if he goes last after all other AoE Champions have thrown their Debuffs.

Gear wise, equip the RelicKeeper with Crit Chance gear until you reach 100%. After that enhance your Crit Rate. Just to be clear Weapon is always Attack, Helm is always HP, Shield is always Defense (there’s not much explaining there, except for an additional percentage underneath the main stat), so basically, you should aim to get Crit Chance/Rate in substats of the above-mentioned gear. For the chest-plate go for Attack stats, while with Gauntlets always go for Crit Rate (as for the sub stat you can never go wrong with Speed in either or both of the pieces). The optimal Gear sets for RelicKeeper are Divine Crit Rate, Crit Rate, Divine Offense, Offense, and Crit Damage.

As for the masteries, you’d want him to advance his Offense and Defense trees. In the Offense tree, you’ll obviously enhance Crit Rate with Deadly Precision and go forward to increasing Crit Damage after that with Flawless Execution.

LORDLY LEGIONARY

video guide

Lordly Legionary is an Epic Attack champion from the Banner Lords faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

The first skill ‘’Press the Fight’’  attacks an enemy two times. If an enemy is Debuffed with Heal Reduction he places a hit, but if an enemy is 100% Debuffed by Heal Reduction he attacks two extra times. When fully booked this ability has 15% more damage. It would be good to pair him up with someone that can complement this ability with Void affinity, someone like Coldheart for example.

With his second ability ‘’Outflank’’ he attacks an enemy and has a 75% chance of placing a Debuff of Decrease Speed for two turns. If the Debuff is placed he will decrease the targets Turn Meter by 20%. To maximize this ability you will need seven books with the last one reducing the cooldown from 4 to 3 turns.

The third ability is ‘’Legion’s Orders’’. It places a 30% Reflect Damage buff and a 15% Continuous Heal buff on all allies for 2 turns.

If you want to max out his skill aim towards the cooldown reduction in the ‘’Legions Orders’’ bringing it from 4 to 3 turns to get consistency in the Fire Knight encounter.

He is best used in the Fire Knight dungeon.  He can be decent in Faction Wars if you invest fully in him. You can equip him with Reflex gear, but he is not good in it like Bad-el-Kazar, although he can pull through. Going for the Tank-with-high-accuracy direction is the best for him. Even though he is best used in the Fire Knight it can still be frustrating in the late stages of this Dungeon – he can pull through mostly with ease up to 19th stage, but later it will be tough but not impossible. You can consistently win with a F2P Rare team up to stage 19, no Epics or Legendaries are needed ( in this team, it would be best to use Apothecary, Kael, Bellower, and Coldheart to go along with Lordly Legionary). Make sure that they have good gear especially for later stages. On stage 20 to consistently win you will need Legendary or Epic Champions.

The Legionary doesn’t have any Passives or Aura.

Ten books are required to fully max out his abilities.

It is recommended to branch out in the Offense and Support trees inside Masteries. Going down the Offense tree to War Master would be the most optimal for him. The Defense tree doesn’t have much to offer for the Legionary. The Support tree is a must and you will need Lasting Gifts mastery for the Reflect damage especially if you want to use him in the Fire Knight. Master Hexer gives a little advantage but not as much as the Lasting Gifts.

ATHEL

video guide

Athel is a Rare Attack champion from the Sacred Order faction. Her affinity is Magic meaning that she is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

When we talk about the Stats, Crit Rate should be absolutely essential for increasing – a 100% would be ideal.

Her first Skill ‘’Strike Down’’ attacks an enemy three times and has a 75% chance of placing a 25% Weaken Debuff for two turns. It will take seven Skill Tomes for this skill to be maxed out bringing the Debuff chance form 75% to 90% while increasing the Damage output by 20%.

The second ability ‘’Divine Blades’’ is an AoE with a 15% more chance of placing a Critical Hit. Books only increase the Damage output by 25% in the final level.

Her third ability ‘’Higher Blessing’’ casts an Increase Attack Buff on this champion for two turns in all situations, and she also buffs her Defense if her HP falls beneath 50%. This skill gives her an Extra Turn. When booked the cooldown is reduced from 4 to 3 turns.

Her Aura increases the HP of all allies in all Battles by 15%.

Athels’ first skill makes her endgame viable for the Clan Boss because of the Giant Slayer Mastery. In the Campaign, she is viable for the endgame as well and she can carry Brutal campaign instances with ease.

To dispatch your enemies easily in the Campaign use Vampire gear but if you want her to be good in the Arena throw in two pieces based on Speed. It would be good to have gloves with the Crit Rate as the main stat, while you should go with Attack as the main stat on the Chest Plate. Boots should be either Attack or Speed as the main Stat depending on what you want to use Athel for. Speed is always good for the Arena while not essential for the Campaign so you can go with Attack gear if you chose to build her as a farmer.

For masteries, it is recommended to go down the Offense and Support trees. Start with Deadly Precision in the Offense tree – Crit Rate and Crit Damage are always recommended. Heart of Glory gives her a flat 5% increase to her attacking since she always attacks first. In the Endgame, it is Crucial to get the Giant Slayer Mastery because of her first skill. The Giant Slayer has a 30% chance to give bonus damage and with her first skill she attacks 3 times in a row significantly increasing her chances to take advantage of this Mastery.

Executioner

video guide

Executioner is a Rare Defense champion from the Knight Revenant faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

With his first ability ‘’Shield Bash’’ he attacks an enemy and has a 15% chance of placing a Stun for one turn. This skill can be improved with Books allowing Executioner to have a 30% chance of Stunning.

The second ability ‘’Tumult’’ is an AoE that decreases the Turn Meter by 20% with a 50% chance of placing a 15% Decrease Speed for 2 turns. If fully booked this ability will have a 75% chance to Debuff and 3 turns cooldown instead of 4 turns.

With his third ability ‘’Schiltron’’ he places a 60% Increase Defense and a Counterattack Buff on himself. You can decrease the cooldown of this ability from 7 to 5 turns with Books.

His Aura increases the Defense of all Allies in all Battles by 17%.

Executioner needs to be maxed out completely with Books to be an effective Champion.

Executioner is one of the best Campaign Champions used for farming. He isn’t really good in any other instance. When using him in Campaign put him against enemies that have Force affinity and he will be the most viable up to the hard difficulty. For the Brutal difficulty, you will need him to be at six stars, but it is much better to find someone better for the job than wasting resources to get Executioner up to six stars. He is quite popular since his skills can be maxed out without using any of the Skill Tomes(Books) because in the Hallowed Halls there is a chance of looting him and any copy of him can be used as a Skill Book.

If we compare Executioner with RelicKeeper, we must say that RelicKeeper is better for farming, while you can use Executioner as an introduction Champion from Early to Mid game. Nevertheless, RelicKeeper is faster and has more potential when invested in.

The most optimal Gear set for Executioner is, Lifesteal Set since he is not so much of an AoE Champion and relies on Defense. For other sets concentrate on damage and Crit rate – you will want to have your Crit Rate as close to 100% as possible. Crit Damage is needed as well. You will not need huge amounts of Speed but do equip a couple of pieces of equipment with Speed on them. Since Executioner gains bonuses on skills from his Defense score, Defense Sets are viable as well.

This is only a suggestion, do as you please, but in our opinion, in the masteries, it’s best to concentrate on Offense and Defense trees. In the Offense tree, go first with Deadly Precision for the Crit Rate, then go to Keen Strike for Crit Damage and afterward increase your damage output with Grim Resolve. In the Defense Tree, increase your Defense with Tough Skin and get down to Bloodthirst to heal every time an enemy is killed.  If you are willing to grind you can go all the way down to Retribution in Defense and Flawless Execution in the Offense tree.

BELLOWER

video guide

Bellower is a Rare Support champion from the Ogryn Tribes faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

He can be built as a damage dealer or you can build him as a support. In this text, we will mostly explain the support route.

His base speed is 99, try to get it up to 200. The base attack is really small at 1013 which is a big disadvantage for a Damage Dealer build, meaning that you would need really good gear. For Accuracy, you’ll want at least 200 if you want to do level 20 Dungeons or later stages of Faction Wars. But if you want to make a Damage build up your Defense to 2000 and HP to 40000.

His first ability ‘’Frazzle’’ is an AoE based attack, it has a 20% chance of placing the Block Cooldown Skill debuff for a turn. This skill can be booked up to a 30% chance of placing the debuff.

The second ability ‘’Mighty Bellow” is an AoE. This skill has a 50% chance to place a 15% Decrease Speed for two turns. If fully booked it will have 75% chance of placing the debuff

and its cooldown will be reduced from 4 turns to 3 turns.

Bellower’s third skill ‘’Bowl Over’’ is an AoE as well. It has the 75% chance of placing a Decrease Attack Debuff for two turns and a 75% chance of placing a Decrease Defense Debuff for 2 turns. It will take four books to fully book this character and on the last book, you will decrease the cooldown from 5 to 4 turns.

He has an Aura of increasing Ally Speed in Faction Crypts by 15%

Judging by this he has the three vital Debuffs on Speed, Attack, and Defense, making Bellower great for Crowd Control, Dungeon, and Faction wars. He is not that great against Bosses except for his use of Decrease Speed on the Fire Knight. Otherwise, he is great against waves of smaller enemies that come before the Boss. You need twelve books for his skills to be maxed out and since those are Rare books he is definitely worth being booked out.

For the gear, you’ll want to concentrate on Speed and Stun sets to Debuff and CC as fast as possible. For the banner go for the Accuracy so that you can land Debuffs successfully. Because of his low base Defense, you’ll want to have a Defense Amulet. In masteries, you’ll want to go down the Defense and Support trees. In the Defense tree, you will want to get to the [Fearsome presence] – it will be especially good with a Stun set. In the Support Tree, go for the [Evil Eye] and [Master Hexer] to improve yourself in Faction Wars and Dungeons. The [Sniper] mastery is going to help a lot with the Block Cooldown Skills debuff.

SHAMAN

video guide

Shaman is an Epic Support champion from the Orcs faction. Her affinity is Force meaning that she is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit.

Her base speed is 106.

The first skill ‘’Dispelling Blow’’ attacks an enemy and has a 25% chance to dispel a random buff off of the target. When fully booked the Buff removal chance is increased up to 35%.

Her second skill ‘’Exploit Weakness’’ attacks one enemy and places a 15% Increase Crit Rate buff on all allies for 2 turns. Four books max out this ability. On the fourth book, it reduces the ability cooldown from 4 to 3 turns.

The third ability ‘’Recall’’ revives an ally with 50% of their HP. She also places a Shield buff on the target equal to 20% of their HP. This ability takes two books to be maxed out, which reduces the cooldown of the ability from 7 to 5 turns.

Her Aura increases the Defense of all Allies in Faction Crypts by 23%. This gives her utility in Faction Wars.

If you want to book her, you should aim to fully max out the Recall ability.

A Shield set would be pretty good for her in the Faction Wars. Concentrate on the Speed sets so she’s cycling fast through the turns, increasing the Crit Rate, debuffing, and having the Revive skill on the ready as fast as possible. The Ring and the Amulet should be Defense based. The Amulet next to Defense should have Resistance as well. Go always with the Speed Boots.

For the Campaign, she is not that good and she is awful in the Spider’s Den. Shaman is okay in the Arena Defense but not so good in the Arena Offense. However, she is really bad in the Clan Boss, Fire Knight, and Spirit Keep. In the Dragon and Minotaur, she is not bad because of her Recall ability. She is the best for the Magic Keep by far.

In masteries advance in Offense and Support trees. In the offense tree, you should go down to the Warmaster mastery. In the support do add a little bit of Accuracy since her First skill requires it.

Since you can gain her through daily quests, she can be useful early on. Shaman should be built for a sustain team. But there isn’t much use of her in the late game.

SEPTIMUS

video guide

Septimus is a Legendary Attack champion from the Banner Lords faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

He has a base speed of 102 and it should be upped to 200 at least. For the Spiders Den, he needs a 100% of Critical Rate and as much Critical Damage as you can provide him. The Attack should be over 5000. The Defense should be around 2300 to 2400 and HP should be 30000.

His first skill ‘’Behead’’ attacks an enemy. If the target is killed he resets the cooldown on his ‘’Holy Sword’’ skill and it grants an Extra Turn.

The second ability ‘’Holy Sword’’ attacks 1 enemy. This skill will ignore Shield and Block Damage buffs. The damage of this ability scales following the enemy’s max HP.

His passive ‘’Giant Killer’’ has a 30% chance of increasing the duration of all Debuffs on an enemy and each inflicted attack increases by 30% if an enemy’s HP is over 50%.

With his Aura, he increases the Attack of all allies by 23%.

When using books you should aim to max out the ‘’Holy Sword’’ skill. Septimus is great for the Campaign and as an XP Farmer. Septimus can be pretty good in Clan Boss and in the Void Keep as well. For the Arena, he is not so great. When we talk about Spider Den he is the best fir the end game. His spirit ability doesn’t help him in Dragon but none the less he is good. In Ice Golem he is alright but he is one of the worst champions to play within Fire Knight.

He doesn’t need Accuracy so gear-wise always go for Crit Damage, Attack, and Crit Rate depending on what you want to use him for. If you want to use him in the Faction Wars you should use Life Steal artifacts. In Masteries use the Offense and Support trees. If you want to use him for the Clan Boss you should have the [War Master] but if you want to use him in Faction Wars or the Spiders Den [Flawless Execution] should be the way to go. [Helmsmasher] is great as well but it won’t give you a 100% win rate in Spider Den like [Flawless Execution] does. In the Support tree go down the HP branch to the [Lore of Steel], he doesn’t need Accuracy at all as far as masteries go.

CRIMSON HELM

video guide

Crimson Helm is an Epic Defense champion from the Dark Elf faction. Her affinity is Magic meaning that she is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

She has one of the lowest base speeds at 85, you’ll want to up it to 195 but it should depend on what you’re using her for. Her HP should be around 35 000, while her Defense should be around 5500. Upping the Accuracy up to 200 should be sought after if you want to hit Debuffs more consistently.

Her first skill is ‘’Sucker Punch’’. It attacks one of the enemies and has a 30% chance to place a 50% decreasing attack debuff for one turn. By maxing out this skill through Books the chance to debuff can be increased up to 50%.

The second ability ‘’Vile Tongue’’ Attacks 4 times at random. Each hit has a 75% chance to cast the Provoke Debuff on an enemy for 1 turn. It places a Block Damage Buff on this champion for 1 Turn. When this ability is maxed out it will have a 95% chance to cast a Provoke and the number of turns will be reduced from 4 to 3.

Crimsons’ third Ability ‘’En Garde’’ places a Revive on Death Buff and puts a 60% Defense Buff on all allies for 2 turns. When maxed out the cooldown of this ability is reduced from 6 to 4 turns.

Her Aura increases the HP of her allies by 33% in dungeons.

Crimson Helm can be built in either the Speed direction or Defense. If you go the Speed route her first ability would go best with her. If you go the Defense route it would work the best with the third skill.

She is worthy of being maxed out by Books. Which makes her very viable for use in Faction Wars. But if you can’t afford to max her out the most useful skills are the second and third ability. Depending on which way you want to build her. If you’re using her for the Clan Boss and Faction Wars do equip her with an Accuracy banner. With other gear use Defense for the most part, additionally use Accuracy, HP, and Speed sets. She can be good in Faction Wars and Clan Boss again depending on what sort of Gear set you chose. She is pretty solid in the Campaign. In Minotaur, Dragon, Ice Golem she is good. In Spider, Fire Knight she is not good at all. For the Masteries go the route Support and Defense trees unless you want to use her in the Clan Boss. If you want to use her in the Clan Boss level go down your Offense mastery tree to the War Master.

SKULL LORD VAR-GALL

video guide

Skull Lord Var-Gall is a Legendary Defense champion from the Lizardmen faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit.

His base stats are pretty amazing despite his not so great skills.

His first skill is ”Gleeful Ripping” – he attacks an enemy two times. Each time he attacks an enemy he fills his Turn meter by 5% each time. He has a 30% chance to repeat this skill. The second time he places a 100% Heal Debuff on his target for 2 turns.

His second ability “Skull Claim” places a 25% Strengthen buff on himself and has a 75% chance to cast a Provoke debuff on the targeted enemy for 1 turn. If fully maxed out with Books this skill can have its turn cooldown reduced from 3 to 2.

The third ability ”Abyssal Clutch” is an AoE skill that attacks all enemies and has a 75% chance of placing a 50% Decrease Attack debuff  for 2 turns. It takes 6 books to max out this skill but in return, it will have a 100% chance to place the debuff and have a shorter cooldown.

Var Gal has two Passives. The first one is ”Horrific Foe” – each time he is attacked he reduces the Max HP of the enemy by 5% (he cannot decrease the HP lower than 50%). This Passive doesn’t work on Bosses. He has a 50% chance of placing a True Fear debuff to a target whose Max HP has been reduced by 20% or more. This Passive works best in the Faction Wars and the Arena.

His second Passive ”Skull Brood” revives a Skullsworn with 50% of HP and 50% of Turn Meter at the start of each turn. He only revives one Skullsworn on the team. Both of his passives are not that great along with his third skill having a cooldown that’s way too long.

He is decent in Faction Wars if built in that direction. He is not that great in the Campaign, some Rare Champions are more useful in the Campaign than he is. If he is in a team that is built out of tanks he can be effective in Arena otherwise he is not good at all.  He is very good in the Minotaur’s Labyrinth. Because of the huge cooldown, his Decrease Attack debuff is not that effective in the Clan Boss. He will be fine in most Keeps. Gear should go in the direction of Accuracy, Crit Rate, Defense, HP, and Speed sets. As far as Masteries go invest in Offense and Support trees. If you want your Var-Gal to be good in Faction Wars and build him as a damage dealer go down to [Sniper] in the Support tree. But it might be much better if you go the [Warmaster] or [Giant Slayer] route if you want to take advantage of his first ability.

SOULBOND BOWYER

video guide

Soulbond Bowyer is a Rare Attack champion from the Barbarians faction. Her affinity is Spirit meaning that she is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Bowyer’s base speed is 96 which is quite good for a Rare champion. The speed should be boosted up to 170-180 range. Next to Attack the second stat that needs enhancement is Defense. The Defense would be great if it’s around 2000. Critical Rate should be taken to 75% at least so that she would be able to Crit every time she uses an ability. Critical Damage should be upped over 200%.

Her first skill ”Ancestral Guidance” is an AoE attack with a 25% chance of a critical strike. Chance to do a critical can be maxed up to a 50% chance with books. This critical chance can add up with Crit chance additions of other abilities, giving this champion quite a punch if built in this direction.

The second skill is ”Infused Arrow” attacks one enemy. It has an additional 25% Crit hit chance while ignoring 75% of targets defense. With the book boost, the Crit chance can be expanded to 50%.

”Soulbound Shot” the third ability and it is like the second – attacks one enemy, has a 25% crit chance hit but the additional effect instead of ignoring Def is 75% chance of fully depleting an enemy’s turn meter. If maxed out this ability has a 100% chance of fully depleting the enemy’s turn meter. Although do keep in mind that this additional skill of depleting the turn meter is dependent on the accuracy.

Soulbound Bowyer also has an Aura that increases the Crit Chance of allies by 12% in all battles. While this Aura is not great at least she still has one.

To max out her abilities it can be quite demanding since it will require 16 books. Your best bet is getting up to the cooldown on the third ability and everything else is not that important.

The Bowyer is pretty good as an XP farmer. She is not bad in Arena if you put her to attack first as a sniper Early to Mid game. In Dungeons she will be good in Minotaur as an AoE dealer and she can deplete the turn meter. In Golem and the Spider, she is good in both while in Early to Mid game, but she’s not that good for it in the Late game. She’s not good at Dragon and Fire Knight. Don’t even try her in Clan Boss.

For her third ability to shine it would be good to get her up with an Accuracy set. Next to Accuracy it would be pretty good to invest in Attack, Defense, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage sets. If we look at the masteries it would be best to invest in Offense and Support trees.  In the support tree, you don’t want to get too far. Masteries further down the line does nothing for her if she has skills that were maxed out with books it’s only good for the Accuracy it gives you at the beginning. In the Offense masteries, you’d want to go down to [Flawless Execution] giving her more Crit Damage.

STAG KNIGHT

video guide

Stag Knight is an Epic Support champion from the Banner Lords faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

His base speed is pretty good especially for someone that is an Epic Champion. His attack should be upped around 2500 to 2600 and his defense should be at least 2000. For the end game, it is important to up his Accuracy somewhere between 200 and 260 as well as his speed. His health should be close to 40000.

Stag Knight’s first ability ”Spot Quarry” makes him attack an enemy two times with the 30% chance of placing a 30% decrease speed for two turns. Fully upgraded by books this ability can increase the debuff chance by 20% giving a total of 50% chance of decreasing speed.

His second ability the ”Huntmaster” is an AoE ability that has a 70% chance to decrease Defense by 60% and attack by 50% for two turns. The Defense debuff chance can be increased up to 95% with Epic books. And thecooldown can be decreased to 3 with this hero if you are willing to spend at least seven books. This is one of the most useful skills and when you use Epic books aim for maxing out this skill.

His Passive ”Lead the Pack ” places a 50% ACC buff on an ally for 1 turn each time the ally has a debuff resisted by an enemy.

Depending on how you build him he is good for either Faction Wars and Clan Boss. Since he is generally a debuffer he would be good in almost any Dungeon. Stag Knight is also a good fit for the Arena, but do pay attention since he is pretty weak against magic users.

Since the Stag Knight is a debuffer you’ll want him to be the first one to attack or be among the first right before the damage dealers. It’s good to use Speed and Life steal equipment for that cause.  Life steal is pretty good for the Clan Boss and in Faction Wars. Also, Life steal equipment is good for any champion that uses all his abilities for attack and has a good base defense which is the case with Stag Knight. For jewelry use an Accuracy banner which is always important for late game. For the amulet crit damage and accuracy should be the biggest priority. The Ring would be good to increase Attack and Defense.  In the masteries, it is important to increase the Offensive and Support trees. [Warmaster] is quite important for the Clan Boss. If you want to use him in Faction Wars [Flawless Execution] is your best bet since it increases Crit Damage. On the Support tree, the best mastery is [Sniper]because it increases the chance of debuffing an enemy through skills and artifacts. [Evil Eye] is good for Faction Wars. The [Charged Focus] is highly recommended for Stag Knight since his first ability and passive require no cooldown.

PSYLAR

video guide

Psylar is an Epic Support champion from the Dark Elf faction. Her affinity is Void meaning that she has no advantages or disadvantages against any other affinity.

All her stat should be increased except for Crit rate and Crit damage. Her base speed should be upped to 200 and over since all her abilities revolve around speed and turn revolution. Upping her accuracy to 250 for the end game and even 300 for the Arena is also quite necessary for her build. Her HP and Defense should be upped quite a significant amount. Being an Epic champion she needs to be nerfed to be effective.

Psylars’ first skill is called ”Surge” and it’s a pure AoE attack. There are no additional effects on this ability. Books can increase the damage output of this skill by 20%.

The second skill is ”Toxic Cloud” is an AoE attack as well but with the 80% possibility of placing a 50% decrease of ACC for two turns. The ACC debuff can be increased up to 100% when fully updated with Epic Books.

And she is known for her third skill ”Leaden Legs” that decreases speed on all enemies for two turns. While she decreases the turn meter for all enemies by 40%.

Her Aura increases the Ally Speed by 22% in Faction Crypts. Making her one of the best champions for Faction War.

Psylar is a pretty good champion for any area of the game except for Clan Boss and the Dragon. For the full upgrade of her skills, she needs 10 Epic Books  In total, but since you only need to maximize the ”Leaden Legs” ability you might only need 5 books at most. She is considered one of the worst champions for the Clan Boss while the Dragon is immune to any turn meter debuffs in which Psylar excels. Psylars abilities are a great magnifier of all AoE and CC sets. She needs a lot of speed and accuracy with her gear sets. Of course, she needs an Accuracy banner and flat Defense for her Ring and Amulet. Masteries for Psylar should go in the Defense and Support trees. [Fearsome presence] in the defense tree can be quite good in boosting  CC gear sets. [Evil eye] is great for Faction wars and dungeons, the [Master hexer] helps to accentuate the decrease speed and decrease speed debuffs.

Tayrel

video guide

Tayrel is an Epic Defense Champion from the High Elves Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit and weak against Force.

Tayrel has decent base stats for an Epic Champion. His Speed is 95 and it is ok since it allows you to enhance it to 180-190 with a gear which is fine. His base Health Pool is not too big compared to Legendary Champions but it can be viable in the end game with the right gear. His Defense is amazing and it allows him to hit really hard and to become the main damage dealer in end-game Dungeons. All his attacks are DEF based so his Attack is not really important. Tyrel is one of the most used Champions in the game for a reason. His skill-set is simply amazing.

Tayrel’s first ability is “Humble”. It attacks a single target 2 times causing moderate damage with a 40% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns. The damage inflicted is proportional to Tayrel’s DEF. This ability can be upgraded 4 times increasing its damage and debuff chance by 10%. This basic ability is one of the best basic abilities in the game. It has a big chance of placing one of the best debuffs in the game and it strikes 2 times increasing the debuff chance significantly.

The second ability is ”Singing Steel”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage with a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. If the target is under a [Decrease ATK] debuff, it will place a [Sleep] debuff for 1 turn. The damage inflicted is proportional to Tayrel’s DEF. When fully upgraded (4 Epic Books) the damage of the skill is increased by 10% while the debuff chance rises to 100%. With this ability, Tyrel can place the second most important debuff in the game and he can do it on all enemies.

Tyrel’s third ability is “Preemptive Strike”. It attacks a single target causing obliterating damage and decreases the target’s Turn meter by 50%. If this attack fully depletes the Turn Meter, it will place a [Stun] debuff for 2 turns. Damage inflicted is proportional to DEF. The cooldown of the ability can be reduced by 1 turn and the damage can be increased by 30% if the ability is fully upgraded (4 Epic Books) This ability hits really hard and allows Tayrel to be the main damage dealer in the high-level Dungeons and Clan Boss.

Tayrel has also a rally useful Aura that increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 25%. This means that his Aura can be used for Clan Boss which is very helpful for additional sustain.

Obviously, Tayrel have almost everything even he is just an Epic Hero. He applies 2 most important debuffs which are essential for Clan Boss and Dungeons like Minotaur’s Lair and Dragon’s Nest. He is a Defense Champion with a ridiculous damage potential and that means that he can be used as a damage dealer instead of Attack Champions who simply cannot survive long enough in the end-game Dungeons. All in all, Tayrel rightfully earned his META status among the players.

Tayrel needs Speed, Accuracy, Defense%, C. RATE and C.DMG for reaching his full potential. Accuracy is the most important for him because of the utility so having at least 200 ACC is a must. Depending on the gear stats Tayrel should be built with 2 Defense Sets and 1 Speed Set or with 1 Defense Set and 2 Speed Sets. When we talk about Masteries, Tayrel should focus on Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim [War Master] [Kill Streak] and [Whirlwind of Death] while in Support Tree he should go after [Master Hexer], [Sniper] and [Cycle of Magic]

Ignatius

video guide

Ignatius is a Legendary Defense Champion from the Ogryn Tribes faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit and weak against Force.

Ignatius has average base stats. He is not the slowest character in the game but 93 Speed is really low and it needs all available enhancements from artifacts. Base Health Pool is decent but it also needs improvement. His base Defense is very high but not as high as it should be so he can be considered a Top Tier Defense Champion. Since all his abilities are based on DEF his Attack value is not important at all.

Ignatius’ first ability is “Skull Rattle”. It attacks a single target causing moderate damage with a 15% chance of placing [Stun] debuff for 1 turn. When fully upgraded, the damage output is increased by 20% and the debuff chance is increased by 10%. This ability is nothing special, to be honest. Proc rate is too small and [Stun] can be used only in the Arena and against trash mobs, so basically this ability is almost useless against Bosses.

The second ability is “Battle Shout”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage with a 50% chance to place [Provoke] debuff on each target for 1 turn. If fully upgraded, the debuff chance rises to 75% and the cooldown is reduced by 1 turn becoming 4-turn cooldown. “Battle Shout” could be very useful in some situations but it needs full upgrade which means that you will need at least 4 Legendary Books.

Ignatius’s third ability is “Turn to Ash”. This ability is Ignatius’ trademark and the reason why he is a Top Tier Champion for the Spider’s Den. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage with a 75% chance of placing [HP Burn] debuff on each target for 2 turns. This debuff cannot be resisted. It is of utmost importance that this ability is fully upgraded and that the debuff chance rises to 100%. This ability is very strong and because of that, its cooldown is 5 turns when fully upgraded. For upgrading this ability, a player will need at least 4 Legendary Books.

Ignatius has also an Aura that increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 25%. This Aura is not the strongest but it can be very useful since it works in all battles.

Truth to be told Ignatius is Second Tier Champion at best, but his importance in Spider’s Den is what makes him special. “Turn to Ash” ability places [HP burn] debuff that can’t be resisted on all enemies and the idea is to fight Spider by placing that debuff on as many spiderlings as possible and to avoid killing those spiderlings. The reason is simple – whenever a [HP Burn] debuff is placed on a spiderling it affects the Spider as well. So in short, if you place a debuff on 10 spiderlings, the Spider will receive the damage from 22 [HP burn] debuffs in 2 turns (debuff is placed on the Spider also) which is amazing and game-changing. Ignatius can also be used in other Dungeons and Spirit Keep with success but he is not near as good as for Spider’s Den.

Ignatius needs Defense%, Speed, C.RATE and C.DMG gear. Accuracy is not that important since [HP burn] cannot be resisted. Optimal build for him is 2 Speed Sets and 1 Defense Set. When we talk about Masteries, Ignatius should focus on Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim for [War Master] and [Stoked to Fury] while in Support Tree he should go after [Cycle of Magic] and [Master Hexer].

Rhazin Scarhide

video guide

Rhazin Scarhide is a Legendary Defense Champion from the Lizardmen Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and week against Spirit affinity.

Rhazin’s base stats are not awesome but still good enough to be viable in the end-game. He is very slow. His base Speed is 91 which is very bad but it can be enhanced with artifacts. Health Pool is mediocre and it also needs enhancement. His base DEF is very good and it allows him to cause serious damage because all his abilities are dependable on it. A base attack is not important and it shouldn’t be improved at all.

Rhazin’s first ability is “Bone Sword”. It attacks the single target 3 times in a row with a 20% chance of removing random buff from that target with each hit. If this skill is upgraded, its damage is increased by 25% and removing the chance will be 45%. For the full upgrade, you will need 4 Legendary Books.

The second ability is “Shear”. It attacks a single target causing moderate damage and has a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff and a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns. When fully upgraded, a chance of placing debuffs increases to 100% and its cooldown is reduced to 3 turns. This ability can be very powerful allowing Rhazin to keep Bosses constantly debuffed with a 60% [Decrease DEF] which is amazing especially for Clan Boss.

Rhazin’s third ability is “Bog Down”. It attacks all enemies causing massive damage and decreasing Turn Meter of all enemies by 100%. This ability has a long cooldown (6 turns when fully upgraded) but it can be very useful in the PvP.

Rhazin also has an Aura that increases Ally RESIST in the Arena by 90. This aura can be useful in Arena Defense but truth to be told there are many effective Auras that should be prioritized instead this one.

Rhazin is a very good Champion who can be used in various game segments with great success. He is an ideal Champion for Clan Boss and Faction Wars. In the matter the fact, he is arguably the best Lizardmen for the Faction Wars. He is also a Top Tier Character for Fire Knight’s Castle, Minotaur’s Lair, Magic Keep, and Void Keep. For a full upgrade, he will need 14 Legendary Books which may seem a lot but it is only important to maximize “Shear” so with a little luck he may not need more than 10 Legendary Books. His main strength is his ability to lockdown the Boss and keeps it under the effect of a 60% [Decrease DEF] through the almost entire battle.

Rhazin Scarhide needs Defense%, Speed, Accuracy, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage gear. Some people build him as a nuker with significantly increased Crit. RATE and Crit. DMG which is not necessarily wrong but in my opinion it is more important to boost his DEF, Speed, and Accuracy. Optimal build for him is 2 Speed Sets and 1 ACC Set although in some situations he could benefit the most from the Lifesteal Set. The best course of action for Rhazin is to build his Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree he should aim for [Giant Slayer] while in Support Tree he should go after [Master Hexer] and [Sniper].

Wurlim Frostking

video guide

Wurlim Frostking is a Legendary Defense Champion from the Knights Revenant faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against any other affinity.

Wurlim Frostking stats are not too much overpowered but all stats he needs are good enough and more. His base Speed is 100 which is high enough for a Defense Champion. His Health Pool is decent but it needs to be enhanced with items. The Defense is his most important stat and he has 1233 base Defense which is good for a start but he must have around 5000 to be effective as you would like. Even his attack is higher compared to other Defense Champions but truth to be told Attack stat is useless for him. It is important to mention that his Crit RATE and Crit DMG must be risen to around 100%, while his ACC should be around 200 or even higher if you want to use him in PvP.

Wurlim’s first ability is “Winds of Winter”. It attacks 1 enemy causing moderate damage and has a 30% chance of placing [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn. If [Freeze] is applied it additionally places [Perfect Veil] buff on the ally with the lowest HP for 1 turn. [Freeze] chance can be increased to 50% if the ability is fully upgraded with Legendary Books (4 Books are needed) which can be very effective in the Arena.

The second ability is “Frostbite Blast”. This ability attacks all enemies causing moderate damage with a 70% chance of placing [Decrease C.DMG] debuff for 2 turns. It also places a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff on all allies. This skill may not seem too powerful but for me, Crit.DMG stat is much more important than Crit.RATE stat, therefore, this buff and debuff could be essential especially in the Arena. When fully upgraded this ability has a 3-turns cooldown and it places [Decrease C.DMG] debuff at 100% certainty. Unfortunately, you will need 7 Legendary Books to fully upgrade “Frostbite Blast”.

Wurlim’s third ability is “Icegrave Armor”. This ability is amazing. It places a 25% [Strengthen] buff (new buff which is opposite of [Weaken] – improves general sustain) and 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns which is incredible. This ability has a 6-turns cooldown but if upgraded the cooldown can be only 4 turns meaning that the team will be buffed

during half of the entire combat. Most importantly, for upgrading, you will need only 2 Legendary Books.

Wurlim also has an Aura that increases Ally DEF in the Arena by 30%. It would be better that aura works in all battles but this is also fine and makes Wurlim Frostking a Top Tier Champion for the Arena Defense.

Wurlim Frostking is an ideal Champion for early and mid-game. His usefulness in Arena Defense, Dragon’s Lair, Ice Golem’ Peak, Minotaur’s Lair, Faction War, and Void Keep can be matched only by few Champions in the Raid Shadow Legends. For the full upgrade of his skills, a player needs 12 Legendary Books in total which is not a small number but since you will need to maximize only “Icegrave Armor” with a little luck he can be effectively upgraded with 5-6 Legendary Books at most (if you spend more than 8 Books for upgrading third ability it is justified to fully upgrade all abilities if that is possible). It is important to say that Wurlim is not effective against Clan Boss although it may seem that his buffs can prolong the combat.

When we talk about the gear Wurlim should be obviously equipped with Defense%, Speed, Crit. RATE, Crit. DMG and ACC. He needs Defense Sets and Speed Set. If you don’t have an Accuracy Banner on him it would be also wise to equip him with an Accuracy Set because he needs at least 200 ACC to be fully effective in the PvP. Masteries for Wurlim should be chosen entirely up to your current needs in the game. If you want to build him as general Hero capable of doing all kinds of stuff you should pick Offense and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, you should aim [Bring it Down] and [Methodical] while in Support Tree you should go after [Lasting Gifts] and [Master Hexer]. If you want to build him entirely for PvP you should pick Defense Tree instead.

Cillian the Lucky

video guide

Cillian the Lucky is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Banner Lords faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit affinity and weak against Force affinity.

Cillian the Lucky has a decent stats for the Attack Champion. His base Speed is 98 which is not bad but it also could be better if you want to use him in the Arena. Health Pool is not great but that is compensated with a pretty high Defense for the Attack Champion. Cillian doesn’t have a very high base Attack compared to other Legendary Attack Champions but his skill-set is good enough to atone that fact.

His first ability is called “Trip Up”. It attacks a single target 2 times causing moderate damage and each hit has a 35% chance of placing 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. Additionally, each hit has a 35% chance of stealing 30% of the target’s current Turn Meter. If upgraded with Legendary books this skill can have up to 50% chance of placing debuffs and stealing Turn Meter. “Trip Up” could be very useful in certain situations especially in the PvP and Fire Knight but you will need 5 Legendary Books for reaching its full potential which is too pricy for this kind of ability.

The second ability is “Inflict Misfortune”. This ability attacks a single target causing moderate damage with an 85% chance of placing [Block Cooldown Skills] debuff for 4 turns (!!). There is also a 35 % chance of placing [Block Cooldown Skills] on all other enemies debuff for 1 turn. If this ability is fully upgraded it grants a 100 % chance of placing [Block Cooldown Skills] on initial target and 50% chance on all other targets which is amazing. This ability can totally lock down the entire enemy team in the Arena. Unfortunately, for that, you will also need 5 Legendary Books which is very expensive for the Champion who doesn’t have any AoE abilities.

Cillian’s third ability is “Head Ringer”. It attacks I single target causing massive damage with a 75% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn. In addition, it has a 25% chance of placing [Stun] for 2 turns instead and stealing 50% of the target’s current Turn meter. If the enemy is killed by this ability its cooldown is reset. When fully upgraded this ability has a 3 turn cooldown and it always places 1-turn [Stun] with a 50% chance of placing 2-turns [Stun]. This ability can be used for snowballing while farming and it could be very powerful if fully upgraded. The price of the full upgrade is also 5 Legendary Books.

Passive ability is “Charmed Life”. On the start of every turn, Cillian is buffed for 2 turns with one of these buffs: a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 30% [Increase C. DMG] buff, a 30%[Increase C.RATE] buff, a 25% [Strengthen] buff, or a [Block Damage] buff. This means that before every turn Cillian receives one of those buffs becoming significantly stronger than his base stats represent. However, its usefulness will depend on your luck because you can’t decide when he will be buffed with [Block Damage] and when with [Increase ATK] which could be very stressful in some situations.

Cillian also has an Aura that increases the ATK of all allies by 25% in all battles. It would be better that ATK increase is 30% but at least it can be used in all battles.

Cillian is the Champion who can be very powerful in Faction Wars because of his second ability and third ability and who is also almost ideal for Ice Golem’s Peak since he can fully control adds. Cillian could also be useful for Fire Knights castle but he is not even near to FK Top Tier Champions. The problem is that he is not even average Champion if his abilities are not fully upgraded. Investing 15 Legendary Books in non-void Champion without AoE abilities simply cannot be justified for a regular player. However, if you choose to do so, you will get a decent Arena Champion and a decent Campaign farmer who can really help you in Faction Wars. It would be definitely better if his affinity is Spirit or Void since we have a lot of usable Magic Champions but all in all, he is not bad and he belongs somewhere between Tier 3 and Tier 2.

Cillian should be equipped with Attack%, Crit DMG, Crit RATE, Speed and ACC items. It is of utmost importance that his Crit DMG is increased as much as possible and that his Speed is at least decent for PvP. Depending on his current role in your roster he should use Crit Rate Set and 2 Speed Sets or Crit Rate Set and Lifesteal Set.

If we talk about Masteries, Cillian should invest in Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim [Flawless Execution] and [Blood Shield] while in Support Tree it would be best to learn [Master Hexer] and [Lastin Gifts].

CUPIDUS

Cupidus is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Sacred Order. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Cupidus is fast and his ATT is great but all that comes at a price because Cupidus is very squishy. He is a formidable Attacker who causes additional DMG against targets with debuffs and he has special synergy with Venus.

His basic skill attacks all enemies and inflicts additional damage if targets debuffs. He can also unleash an attack that will hit 3 times at random with a chance to apply HP burn with each strike. His main attack is executed after he buffs himself with Increased ATK and if he kills a target he has a 50% chance to apply HP Burn debuff for 2 turns on all other enemies. If Venus is in his team, Cupids causes 25% more DMG to debuffed targets. Also, his aura is particularly strong and it increases the ATK of allies by 33%.

Cupidus is a versatile attacker whose abilities can be used in many game segments. He is ideal for Campaign, Arena Offense, Force Keep and Spirit Keep. Combined with Venus he can do miracles.

His equipment should be focused on Attack %, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy and he should wear 2 Offense Set or Lifeasteal Set along with Speed Set.

Khoronar

video guide

Khoronar is Legendary HP Champion from the Skinwalkers faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Khoronar’s Health Pool is one of the greatest in the game but this comes at the cost of other stats. Since damage output of all his skills is based on his Health he doesn’t have to have a decent Attack but his Defense is not that great for an HP Champion and he is kinda slow. His skill-set is what makes him special and truth to be told he has everything he needs for almost every aspect of the game.

His basic skill attacks all enemies causing heavy damage with a 50% chance to decrease each target’s Turn Meter by 10%. If Minaya is in the same team, Khoronar attacks all targets twice and his chance to decrease target’s Turn Meter rises to 100%. “Beastly Bellow” is his second skill which has a 75% chance to place Provoke debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. At the same time, Khoronar is buffed with Block Debuffs and 60% Increased Defense buff for 2 turns. If Minaya is in the same team, Khoronar cleanses all debuffs from himself before placing Block Debuffs and Increase Defense buffs on self. Khoronar’s most powerful skill is “Battle Waltz”. It attacks all enemies causing devastating damage and places a 50% Decrease Attack debuff on each target. Targets who already have Decrease Attack debuff also receive a 60% Decrease Defense debuff after Khoronar executes “Battle Waltz”. Khoronar has 2 powerful passive abilities. “Ferocious Guard” grants him a counterattack whenever he is attacked by an enemy who is affected by Decrease Attack, Decrease Defense or Decrease Speed debuff. If Minaya is in the same team Khoronar counterattacks every time he is attacked which is amazing. “Spectacle” passive ability enables him to place a 60% Increase Defense buff on all allies when he kills a target.

Obviously, Khoronar has a great synergy with Minaya but even without her, he is a Top Tier Champion for PvP and Keeps. He is also very useful in Spider’s Den because all his attacking abilities are AoE and he has mass Provoke ability that grants him protection from Debuffs including Poison. For reaching his full potential Khoronar should be combined with Champions capable of applying Decrease Attack and Decrease Speed debuffs.

Items with HP%, Speed and Accuracy are ideal for Khoronar but also some additional Defense% gear could be very helpful. Naturally, he needs Life Sets and Speed Sets. Lifesteal Set could also be useful in some occasions.

ROTOS THE LOST GROOM

video guide

Rotos the Lost Groom is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Rotos has a very high Attack and his Defense is greater than any other Attack character but he is very Slow and his Health Pool is the lowest in the entire game. This may be discouraging at first but after just a few glances at Rotos’ skill-set, it becomes crystal clear why his Health Pool is made this way – Rotos can permanently steal a large portion of enemy Health.

Rotos first ability is “Terror Scourge”. This ability attacks a single target causing massive damage with a 75% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease Defense] debuff for 2 turns. Also after each use of his basic ability Rotos has a 30% chance to gain an extra turn. When fully upgraded the damage of this ability is increased by 20%.

Rotos’ second skill, “Vitality Plunder” is unique in every way. He attacks a single target causing moderate damage but he also decreases 20% of the target’s Maximum Health and adds it to his own Health Pool. He cannot decrease more than 60% of the target’s Maximum Health and he cannot add more than 60000 Health to his own Health Pool. Unfortunately, Rotos cannot decrease the Maximum Health of Bosses but whenever he uses this skill against them he will add 15000 Health to his own Health Pool. This ability has a 3-turn cooldown but if fully upgraded the cooldown can be reduced to 2 turns which is amazing. Beside cooldown reduction, this ability’s damage output can be increased by 30%.

His third skill, “Fated Destruction” also attacks a single target but it causes obliterating damage since it ignores 75% of the target’s DEF and ignores Unkillable and Block Damage buffs. Targets killed by this ability cannot be revived and upon a successful kill, Rotos is granted an extra turn. If fully upgraded, the damage output of this ability can be increased by 40% and its cooldown can be decreased by turn becoming a 3-turn cooldown skill.

“Spurn Oblivion” is a passive skill that grants Rotos various defensive abilities. It permanently decreases the damage received from Bosses by 15% (30% if Siphi the Lost Bride is on the same team) and it decreases the damage of an incoming attack that would take more than 50% of Rotos’ Maximum Health. This damage reducing ability can occur only once per enemy attack and it cannot occur when Bosses attacking. However, whenever this damage reduction occurs, Rotos is granted an extra turn.

Lack of any AoE ability or multiplied strikes make Rotos the Lost Groom less desirable than many other Champions when we talk about Spider’s Den and Fire Knight but he is definitely a Top Tier Champion for Ice Golem’s Peak and his abilities can be extremely useful in PvP. If combined with Siphi the Lost Bride he becomes ideal for Dungeons also, because he will always take 30% less damage from any Boss attack. The damage potential of all his skills is dependent on both Attack and HP meaning that the more Health he steals the more damage he will cause. Rotos is unique in many ways, and at the start, he may not seem that powerful but the truth is that he is a Top Tier Champion for Arena Offense, Arena Defense, Clan Boss, Dragon’s Lair, Ice Golem’s Peak, Minotaur’s Lair, Faction Wars, Magic Keep, Spirit Keep, and Void Keep, which makes him more versatile than 99% of other Champions. Most importantly he can be acquired from a Fusion and that makes him available to almost everyone so his importance is even higher than it seems. It is true that Siphi the Lost Bride is not easy to get but once you have paired those two you will have the current META in the true meaning of that word.

Rotos the Lost Groom should be equipped with Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage and Speed items. Relentless Set is best for him along with a Speed Set but beginners can use some other combinations as well. When we talk about masteries it is important to say that Rotos should focus on Offense Tree and Defense Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim for [War Master], [Kill Streak] and [Cycle of Violence] while in Defense tree he should go after [Cycle of Revenge] and [Retribution].

Siphi the lost bride

video guide

Siphi the Lost Bride is a Legendary Support Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction. Her affinity is Void meaning that she has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Siphi the Lost Bride has amazing Stats for a Support Champion. She is one of the fastest characters in the entire game with base Speed of 114, her Defense is higher than the Defense of most of Defense Champions and she has Health Pool like she is an HP Champion. However, her attack is mediocre but that doesn’t really matter since her job is not to cause damage.

Her first skill attacks the single target causing moderate damage. This skill has an 80% chance to apply Sleep on targets whose Turn Meter is equal to or above 50% (cannot be resisted). If the Turn Meter of the target is below 50%, Siphi will heal all allies by 5% of their Maximum Health. Her second skill fills the Turn Meter of all allies by 15% and buffs them with Block Debuffs, a 60% Increased Defense and a 30% Increased Speed buff for 2 turns. “Love Beyond Death” is her third ability. This ability revives a fallen ally with 55% Health and full Turn Meter. Upon resurrection, a revived ally will also receive a 50% Increased Attack buff and a 30% Increased Critical Rate buff for 2 turns. Siphi also has a passive ability that heals each ally by 15% of their Maximum Health at the start of their turn, Additionally, she has a 40% chance of removing Freeze and Fear debuffs from each ally at the start of their turn (If Rotos the Lost Groom is on the same team, she removes all debuffs from him on his turn). Siphi’s Aura increases Resist of all allies in all Battles by 80.

Siphi the Lost Bride is a Support Champion who can always choose whether to disable dangerous opponents from playing or to heal her allies in times of need. She is ideal for PvP because her buffs are very powerful in Arena and she can revive fallen ally who then becomes two times stronger than before. As a Void Champion, she is also very effective in Keeps and some Dungeons. Siphi the lost Bride has a special synergy with Rotos the Lost Groom but she is not dependant on him as he is dependant on her.

Siphi the Lost Bride needs all the protection that is available so it is wise to equip her with Defense%, HP%, Speed and Accuracy gear. For more CC and healing she needs a Retaliation Set but if that is not possible she will do just fine with 2 Speed Sets and Life Set.

BIG’UN

Big’Un is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Ogryn Tribe Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Big’Un looks heavy-footed and sluggish but he has considerable speed and enormous ATT Power. However, his Defense is very low and his Health is mediocre (front look can be deceptive). This great Hero attacks multiple enemies with all his attacks and can apply some of the most useful debuffs in the process.

His basic skill inflicts medium damage against the single target but has a chance to attack all other enemies if the initial strike is critical. With his second skill, he causes heavy DMG against all enemies with a chance to inflict Stun for 1 turn or to Decrease Accuracy for 2 turns. Molten Slog ability enables him to punish all opponents 2 times in a row with a chance to Decrease their Speed for 2 turns while he decreases their Turn Meter by 25% at the same time. His Aura can be useful in dungeons against Bosses vulnerable to debuffs because it increases the Accuracy of the entire team by 90.

Big’Un is a Top Tier Champion and one of the best Champions who can be used with great success in almost any segment. He shouldn’t be used only in Force Keep and his usefulness against Clan Boss is questionable. With Zavia, Big’Un is THE Champion who will change your gaming experience entirely.

His gear should be focused on Attack %, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy while he should be equipped with 2 Offense Set and 1 Speed Set.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

PRINCE KYMAR

video guide

Prince Kymar is a Legendary Support Champion from the Demonspawn Faction. His affinity is Magic, meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Prince Kymar has average stats that don’t exceed the medium values and only his Defense is above average. His main strength is his amazing abilities that utilize damage and debuffs and affect all enemies.

The basic ability attacks all enemies and applies Poison debuff on each target. His second skill also attacks all enemies causing medium damage, but it additionally removes all buffs from every opponent and places Sleep debuff for one turn on everyone. Prince Kymar can also speed up all allies except him by filling their Turn Meter and resetting all their skills. His Aura is ideal for PvP since it increases the Speed of the entire team in the Arena by 30%.

To fully Book Kymar you’ll need nine books. If you’re lucky just book the “Abyssal Gaze” and the “Seal of Magic”

Prince Kymar is a versatile Champion whose virtues are best seen in Arena Offense, Arena Defense, Campaign, Spider’s Den, Spirit Keep, and Magic Keep. Fire Knight is his worst dungeon. He is capable of placing Sleep on the entire enemy team providing you with a full turn without receiving damage if you don’t wake up enemies. His DMG output is not great but all his attacks affect all enemies.

As other Champions who have AoE attacks and can debuff, Prince Kymar benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed, and Accuracy. He goes best with the Stun set because stun cannot be interrupted. If you go with a Sleep set you will need a small Critical rate but his base Crit Rate is pretty big so the interruption of Sleep by his Poison debuff is inevitable. The Stun set is the way to go especially because most of his abilities are AoE. He should be the last on the team to hit because of his ability that resets all cooldowns. Do pay attention to your Speed. Aim to get him to be the last in the rotation, but closest to the back end of your team’s speed. His Crit Rate should be 100 it’s not needed to be higher than that. Aim to get his Accuracy way over 200, for Arena go for 300. In the Masteries go down the Defense and Support trees. In the Defense tree, go down to Fearsome Presence to get the increased chance of Stunning from your Stun set.

ZAVIA

video guide

Zavia is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. Her affinity is Force meaning that she is strong against Magic characters and weak against Spirit characters.

Zavia has an enormous ATT Power and considerable Speed but she is squishy as the majority of other ATT Champions. Her Defense is especially low. Nevertheless, Zavia brings destruction to anyone on the opposite side with devastating damage output and constant Poisoning.

Her basic skill unleashes 3 strikes against the single target and each strike has a chance to apply Poison debuff for 2 turns. Poison Rain ability enables her to attack all enemies twice in a row with a 50% chance to apply Poison on every target with each strike. Her main ability, Deadly Catalyst, strikes all enemies causing massive DMG and additionally causes that DoT damage from all Poison debuffs is cumulated and measured instantly against all targets with Poison debuff. Targets killed with Deadly Catalyst cannot be revived but the Poison Explosion causes only half of damage against Bosses. If Belanor is in the same team with Zavia, she has an additional ability that causes medium DMG against the single target, takes 4 random debuffs from that target and spread it between all other enemies. At the top of all that, Zavia has a powerful aura that increases ATK of all allies in all battles by 33%.

Undoubtedly, Zavia is in Top 3 Champions in the game. She can be used in every Dungeon except Spirit Keep (even there is better than most of other Champions), she is the best Character for Campaign and she is irreplaceable in Clan Boss fights and Arena. If she is well protected she will deal with anything on the other side with ease.

Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed, and Accuracy are obvious choices for her equipment but she needs at least 1 Accuracy Set for reaching her full potential. Other than that she could also use Speed Set, Lifesteal Set, and Offense Set.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

LUA

Lua is an Epic Attack Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. Her affinity is Void meaning that she has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Lua is kinda Slow but her Attack Power is enormous compared to other Epic Heroes. She is very squishy but her skillset combined with great ATT Power makes her more important than many other Legendary Champions.

Lua’s basic ability attacks the single target and if the attack is a critical strike it spread 50% of initial DMG to every other target on the screen. Hail of Arrows is the skill inflicts massive damage against all enemies 3 times in a row and each critical heals Lua by 2.5% of her Maximum Health. She is also capable to cause obliterating damage against a single target with her Lucky Shot and this ability fully depletes the Turn Meter of the unfortunate target ignoring any Shield or Block Damage buff.

Obviously Lua’s virtues are best used in Campaign, although she is one of the most useful Champions for Arena Offense as well. As a Void character, she is always a decent choice for any Dungeon if you don’t have enough characters to make a team where everyone will have opposite affinity than Dungeon Boss.

Naturally, Lua benefits the most from Critical Rate gear but she could use ATT% critical Damage, and Speed equipment as well. 1 Speed Set is mandatory along with 2 Offense Set or Lifesteal Set (Lifesteal is ideal for Clan Boss fights).

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

QUEEN EVA

Queen Eva is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. Her affinity is Spirit meaning that she is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Queen Eva’s Attack Power is one of the greatest in the entire game but that comes at cost oh her Health which is similar to Epic ATT character’s Health. Her Defense is below average and her speed is mediocre but all that is irrelevant when her attack Power is combined with her skills.

Her basic ability attacks a single target and has a 50% chance to place 100% Heal Reduction debuff for 2 turns. Eva’s second skill causes devastating DMG to the primary target two times in a row and if the target is killed it cannot be revived. Energy Drain ability attacks all enemies with increased critical chance causing obliterating DMG and decreases the Turn Meter of every enemy by 20%. If Eva kills someone using Energy Drain the cooldowns of all her abilities will be renewed. She also has a powerful Aura that increases Critical Rate of all allies in all battles by 19%.

Quen Eva can be deadly in many game mods but her full potential can be seen in Arena Offense, Ice Golem Dungeon, Spirit Dungeon, and Force Dungeon. However, she has to be well protected because if enemies focus on her she will die in no time.

Like every Attack Champion, she benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Speed gear, while Accuracy is important for placing Heal Reduction. She needs Speed Set along with Lifesteal Set or 2 Offense Set.

FOLI

video guide

Foli is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirt characters and weak against Force characters.

Foli does not have a great Attack power compared to some other Attack Champions and he is not fast either. His Health is especially low but his Defense is very strong. However, his skills against single targets and immunity to Taunt, Sleep, Freeze and Stun make him ideal for certain game segments.

His first skill inflicts medium damage against the single target 4 times in a row and has a slight chance to place 60% Decreased Def debuff with each strike. His second skill attacks 4 times at random and each hit has a 35% chance to apply Leech debuff for 2 turns. His most powerful ability is Sealed Fate that causes devastating DMG against all enemies and prevents them from reviving if any of enemies have more 2 or more debuffs and it is killed by the skill. Living Armor passive ability grants Foli immunity to Sleep, Freeze, Stun, and Provoke and it even heals him and boosts his Turn Meter by 50% when anyone tries to apply any of these debuffs on him.

Foli is capable to unleash 4 attacks in a row with 2 of his skills which makes him ideal for Fire Knight’s Castle and Clan Boss. His ability to prevent reviving can be used in Ice Golem’s Peak. It may be strange but Foli is also very dangerous in Arena Offense because you can focus his attacks on the most vulnerable target making that target dead very fast.

Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy based gear is obviously best for him. Also, since he has a powerful basic attack it would be wise to equip him with Retaliation Set along with Speed Set.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

RAE

video guide

Rae is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. Her affinity is Magic meaning that she is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

All Rae’s primary statistics are pretty low compared to some other Champions except her Defense which is very high considering that she is an Attack character. Nevertheless, all her abilities affect everyone on the opposite side which makes her very dangerous in some situations.

Corrode is her basic attack and it causes medium DMG against all enemies with a slight chance to place 60% Decrease DEF debuff on each target for 2 turns. Her second skill attacks all enemies and it can cause destruction on enemies who have debuffs. Banish is her most powerful ability that attacks all opponents causing overwhelming damage and removing all buffs with a chance of placing Freeze debuff for 1 turn. Rae’s Aura increases the Speed of all allies in Dungeons by 33%.

Rae’s virtues are best used in Arena Offense and in Spider’s Den, but she can be used in all other segments except Fire Knight’s Castle and Force Keep, as well. There are indeed more powerful Champions who can cause more DMG than Rae, but Rae’s versatility and ability to be used successfully in almost any situation is what makes her special. She’s one of the best Legendary Champions for early to mid game.

Rae’s equipment should have Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy, while she should wear Lifesteal Set and Speed Set.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

NETHRIL

Nethril is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Nethril is very slow and his primary statistics are average at best except his increased Resistance but his skill set is simply amazing.

Blood Harvest is his basic ability and it attacks a single enemy 3 times in a row with a 30% chance to apply Poison debuff for 2 turns. His second skill attacks all enemies with a 50% chance to place Stun on each enemy for 1 turn. Enemies who are not affected with Stun receive 30% Decreased Speed debuff for 2 turns, instead. With his last ability, Nethril causes major DMG against all enemies and decreases their Turn Meter by 75%.

As you can see, Nethril has only 3 skills but those skills are so powerful that he can be used everywhere except Magic Keep. However, his true power can only be seen in Arena Offense where he controls the outcome of every battle if his Speed is boosted enough. His very low Speed is the main reason why we decided to put him only in Arena Offense as one of the best Champions in the game.

As all Attack Champions Nethril benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy. 3 Speed Set is an obvious solution for him but if you want you can equip him with Retaliation Set and 1 Speed Set although he still will be very slow.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

BAD-EL-KAZAR

video guide

Bad-el-Kazar is a Legendary Support Champion form the Undead Hordes Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit.

Bad-el-Kazar is probably in the Top 3 Support Champions in the game. His base stats are very good. He has 102 base Speed which is good especially since it is imperative that he plays first in your team. Health Pool is 20k but it needs to be at least 55k. His Defense is decent but it also needs improvement. Healing amount is dependable on Attack which can be tricky because it can mislead you to focus on improving Attack, which is wrong. His base Attack is not very good indeed, but you need Bad-el-Kazar to be as tanky as possible to be effective in the end-game.

Bad-el-Kazar’s first ability is “Dark Sphere”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage. Additionally, caster and all allies are healed by 20% of the damage inflicted. When fully upgraded (5 Legendary Books) damage and healing are increased by 20%. This amazing first ability. It scales with the Attack but the healing in almost every turn is sufficient enough so it is not important to over-improve Attack in order to get more healing.

The second ability is “Malice”. It removes all debuffs from all allies and places two 15% [Continuous Heal] buffs on all allies for 2 turns. At the top of that, it also places two 5% [Poison] debuffs on all enemies for 2 turns. When fully upgraded, the cooldown of this ability can be 3-turn which is almost mandatory. This ability is game-changing against Clan Boss and other Bosses. It protects your team against nasty debuffs while placing the most important damaging debuff on all enemies at the same time.

“Malice” is even more important when we see Bad-el-Kazar’s passive ability, “Prey Upon”. This ability increases the damage of all allies against targets under [Poison] debuffs. When we know that Bad-el-Kazar can lock down [Poison] on enemies during almost the entire battle we conclude that this ability permanently increases the damage of the entire team by 15% which is incredible.

Bad-el-Kazar has also an Aura that increases Ally C.Rate in all battles by 25%. This Aura can be useful on some occasions when you need additional C.Rate but it is unlikely that you will use it often.

Without a doubt, Bad-el-Kazar is someone who can blend in with any team. His utility and healing are needed always, and he is definitely a Hero who will drastically ease your gaming experience in Raid Shadow Legends. He can be used as a Support character in any Dungeon and Clan Boss. He is not so god for the Arena and speedy XP farming but he can be used even there if you don’t have a replacement. For the full upgrade of his abilities, he needs only 7 Legendary Books but he is viable as long as “Malice” is on 3-turn cooldown.

Bad-el-Kazar must be built like a tank with as much sustain and speed as possible, therefore, HP%, Accuracy and Speed items are the best for him. Attack% and Defense% items are also usable but not as important as the first-mentioned items. At the moment I use 2 Speed Sets and 1Immortal Set on my Bad-el-Kazar but he can also benefit from Accuracy Set since his Accuracy must be over 200 for reaching his full potential. When we talk about the Masteries he should learn Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim [Kill Streak] and [War Master] while in Support Tree he should go after [Lasting Gifts] and [Master Hexer].

WARLORD

Warlord is a Legendary Support Champion from the Orcs Faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Warlord’s Health Bar is big as he is a Tank and his Defense is considerably higher compared to other Support characters. This comes at the cost of his Attack Power which is mediocre at best. His speed is average but if you want to reach Walrod’s full potential it must be boosted to the maximum. Warlord combines attacking buffing and healing and he does it remarkably.

His basic ability attacks a single target causing medium damage with a slight chance to increase the duration of all debuffs by 1 turn. Protection of Gods is the ability that makes him special – it applies Block Debuff buff on all allies for 1 turn, Shield buff equal to 30% of Warlord’s Max Health for 2 turns on all allies as well and it heals entire team by 25% of their Max Health. His last skill causes massive damage against all enemies with a big chance to put each target’s Skills on cooldown and slight chance to fully deplete heir Turn Meter. Warlord also has an Aura that increases Resist of all allies by 50 in all battles.

As a Support character, Warlord has many uses but his full potential can be seen in both Arena Offense and Defense. His second skill is so powerful that can completely decide the outcome of battle whenever it has been executed.

To increase his Shield potential, Warlord needs HP% gear but he also benefits from Defense%, Speed, Accuracy and Resist gear. To make sure that he will be able to use the second skill as much as possible he should be equipped with 3 Speed Sets.

LUGAN THE STEADFAST

video guide

Lugan the Steadfast is a Legendary HP Champion from the Banner Lords Faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Lugan has a waste amount of Health and he is very fats for HP Champion but his Defense is not very high. His attack power is good compared to other tanks but it is still not good enough. Lugan the Steadfast is Tank in the true meaning of that word and he will protect the team in any situation.

His basic skill attacks the single target and places a Shield to Lugan equal to 10% of his Max Health. 25% of the damage inflicted is used to heal every ally on the battlefield for that exact amount. Lugan’s second skill is called Body Guard for the reason. He places a 60% Increased Def buff on self and then applies 50% Ally Protection on the entire team for 2 turns. That basically means that half of the damage received by any of the allies in that period will be transferred to Lugan. Lugan can also cause overwhelming DMG against all enemies with a great chance to inflict Block Cooldown Skills debuff for 2 turns on each target. The Aura he provides is not very useful and it increases the Health of all allies by 38% in Faction Crypts.

As a Spirit Tank Lugan can be used anywhere except Magic Keep and Fire Knight Castle but his full potential can be seen in Arena Offense, Minotaur’s Labyrinth and Dragon’s Lair. At some point, you will conclude that you don’t need a tank at all but trust me the Best teams always have someone to protect them and Lugan is one of the best Champions for that role.

Lugan benefits from almost every stat boost but in my opinion Hp%, Defense%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed, Accuracy and Resist suits him the most. He can heal the entire team with his basic ability which is the reason why he should be equipped with Retaliation Set and Speed Set.

ROYAL HUNTSMAN

Royal Huntsman is a Legendary Attack Champion from the High Elves Faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Royal Huntsman has average primary stats with his Attack Power slightly increased compared to other Legendary Attack Champions. He is also considerably fast but lacks any defensive capabilities. However, all his abilities can inflict an enormous amount of damage and that is the reason why he found his place among the Best Champions in Raid Shadow Legends.

His first skill causes heavy DMG against the single target and if the attack is critical he is buffed with 50% Increased ATK for 2 turns. Slaughter Volley is his second skill that attacks all enemies causing devastating damage with a chance to apply 60% Decrease DEF debuff on every target stroke by a critical strike. Dead Aim ability focuses on a single target causing overwhelming damage and completely ignoring the target’s Defense. Royal Huntsman also has an Aura that increases the Attack of all Spirit allies in all Battles by 38%.

Royal Huntsman may not seem very powerful but in the right team made of Spirit Champions, he can do miracles in Arena Offense and Force Keep. His DMG output is amazing and he is fast enough to unleash all his arsenal before the enemy can remove him from the battlefield. With the Dead Aim, he can literally assassinate the target he picked and cooldowns of his abilities are very low compared to some other Champions on this list.

Royal Huntsman benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Speed equipment. For reaching his full potential he should be equipped with 2 Offense Sets or Retaliation Set and 1 Speed Set or 1 Critical Set. 2 Critical Sets and 1 Speed Set is a good combination if you want to maximize your chances of applying buffs and debuffs.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

ITHOS

Ithos is a Legendary Attack Champion from the High Elves Faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Ithos has a great Attack Power that is lower only to few chosen Champions and his Health amount is considerable for an Attack Champion. However, he is not very fast and his defense is very low. Ithos’ true power is the merging of his incredible abilities with his enormous Attack Power.

With his basic attack, Ithos causes massive damage against the single target and decreases enemy Max Health by a portion of his initial damage with a 20% chance to be granted an Extra Turn. His second skill has a 4 turn cooldown and attacks all enemies 3 times in a row causing destruction and applying 25% Weaken debuff in the process. Extinguish Life is his most powerful ability that attacks all enemies with guarantied critical hits against every target. Ithos also has an Aura that increases the Critical Rate of all allies in the Arena by 33%.

As a Void Champion with his amazing skill set, Ithos can be used everywhere but because of his PvP Aura and 2 skills that strike all enemies multiple times, he is best for Arena and for Spider’s Den. He is capable of unleashing an unbelievable amount of DMG if he is well protected and properly equipped.

Attack%, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy gear is best suited for him although Critical Rate can also be handy for first and second skill. As a pure Attack Champion, he should be equipped with 2 Offense Sets and 1 Speed Set while Lifesteal Set should be used against Clan Boss.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

ARBITER

video guide

Arbiter is a Legendary Support Champion from the High Elves Faction. Her affinity is Void meaning that she has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Arbiter is the Champion who is available for everyone after completing all Progress Missions in the game and because of that, she is very important. Her base stats are really good. Her base Health Pool is 21k which is pretty high compared to other Support Champions. Her base Attack is not too great but it is viable since doesn’t really need to be a great damage dealer. Her base Speed is amazing but it needs to be improved as much as possible because you want your Arbiter to play first in the Arena. To do that you will need at least 260 Speed. Arbiter’s base Defense is ok but nothing special.

Arbiter’s first ability is “Gaze of Justice”. It attacks a single target twice causing moderate damage with a 30% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns. If this ability is upgraded (3 Legendary Books), the chance of debuffing increases to 50% and the damage can be increased by 10%. The big version of [Weaken] is always useful especially because Arbiter strikes twice with this ability which grants that the debuff will be placed almost certainly. This is a very good first ability!

The second ability is “Enforced Humility”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage with a 75% chance of decreasing the duration of all enemy buffs by 1 turn. If fully upgraded (3 Legendary Books,) the damage of the ability is increased bu 10% and debuffs are removed at 100% certainty. This ability is ok and can be very helpful especially in the Arena.

Arbiter’s third ability is “Mentor of Heroes” This ability fills the Turn Meters for all allies by 30% and places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on all allies. Also, it heals all allies by 25% of their MAX HP if they have less than 50% HP. This ability is a game-changer in the Arena. If your Arbiter is fast enough to play first and buff allies with ATK filling their Turn Meter in the process you will most certainly nuke the enemy in the first turn. Be careful, though, that this buff does not work on Defense Champions since their damage scale with Defense. If fully upgraded (1 Legendary Book), the cooldown of this ability is reduced by 1 turn becoming a 3-turns cooldown ability.

Arbiter has also a fourth ability that is called “Destiny’s Call”. It revives all dead allies to 35% HP and then fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 20%. Arbiter is granted an extra turn if an ally is successfully revived. “Destiny’s Call” has a 7 turns cooldown but if upgraded (2 Legendary Books) it can be decreased by 2 turns. This ability has many uses. It can be helpful in Dungeons when some of your damage dealers die or in the Arena when your Arbiter is slower than the enemy’s Arbiter.

An Aura Arbiter has, increases the Speed of all allies in the Arena by 30%. This Aura is a must for PvP and it is the second-best Speed Aura in the game.

Arbiter is meant to be a Support character who will prepare the team for nuking the opponent. Arbiter doesn’t need to have good damage output, it is only important to play first and to stay alive long enough to revive allies if needed. It is also important that Arbiter apply [Weaken] whenever it is possible. Arbiter is definitely the META for the Arena but she can be used in most of the Dungeons as well. She works best with Attack Champions but she can be combined with other characters according to the situation. Obtaining, Arbiter should be the first priority for every new player so it is of utmost importance that Progress Missions are cleared as soon as possible. Once you acquire Arbiter, you will be able to progress and farm Gold 4 Arena in no time!

Arbiter benefits the most from items with Speed, Accuracy, HP% and DEF%. Since she needs all the Speed she can get it is best to build her with all 3 Speed Sets. When we talk about masteries, Arbiter should learn Defense Tree and Support Tree. In Defense Tree, she should aim [Selfless Defender] and [Bulwark] while in Support Tree she should go after [Lasting Gifts] and [Master Hexer].

SIR NICHOLAS

video guide

Sir Nicholas is a Legendary HP Champion from the Sacred Order faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

Sir Nicholas has a base speed of 105 which is very fast. His speed should be advanced up to around 200. He is one of the rare few heroes who don’t need too much Debuff Accuracy since only one of his abilities is dependent on it. He needs good Crit Rate and Crit Damage to increase the effectiveness of his second skill. And the most important stat that he needs is HP, which should be upped to at least 90000.

His first ability ”Boreal Blade” attacks an enemy and has a 50% chance of placing a Freeze debuff for 1 turn. If you max out this ability with Books you gain additional damage. This skill is useful everywhere except for the Clan Boss.

The second ability ”Polar Protection” is an AoE skill that attacks all enemies as well as throws a Shield buff on all allies. The buff is equal to 30% of damage dealt by this ability meaning that Crit Rate and Crit Damage should be increased for this ability to be more than useful. The cooldown for this skill is 4 turns but it can be reduced to 3 turns if maxed out by Legendary Books.

Nicholas’s third skill ”Goodwill” places an Unkillable buff and a 15% Continuous Heal buff on all allies for 2 turns. This skill has a 6 turn cooldown but it can be reduced to 4 turns with Books.

His Aura increases the HP of all allies by 33% in all battles.

To fully upgrade his abilities you will need 10 Legendary Books. And he is worthy of being fully booked.

All these skills make him very versatile in any situation even in Clan Boss. He won’t be the greatest in Clan Boss but he can have some usability there. He is one of the rare Champions that can farm the Nightmare Campaign solo with no books and no Lifesteal gear.  He is the best in the Ice Golem out of all dungeons and the best choice for Faction Wars.

People usually put him in Defense teams. For gear, you should seek out HP, Crit Rate, and Speed gear sets. In the masteries concentrate on the offensive and Support trees. In Support, the Accuracy is not that important for him so you can go the route of increasing the HP and Defense. And the best Mastery from the Support tree is [Lasting gifts] which gives him an extension to all his buffs. Advancing the Offensive tree and with it the damage output, Sir Nicholas will be very viable for fighting in the Arena. If you want to use Nicholas in the Clan Boss you’d want to go after the [War Master].

ROSHCARD THE TOWER

Roschard the Tower is a Legendary HP Champion from the Sacred Order Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Roschard’s Health Bar is incredible and there are just a few Champions whose Health can be compared with Roschard’s. His Speed is average while his Attack Power and Defense are below average. Roschard is a walking Tank literally and he can prevent that any DMG is received by any of his allies for a considerable amount of time.

His basic ability inflicts medium damage to a single target and has a 50% chance to remove 1 random buff from that target. With his second skill, he focuses on the single enemy who is after executing the skill completely useless because he will be affected with Block Cooldown Skills debuff and Block Buffs debuff for 2 turns and those debuffs cannot be resisted. With his third ability, Roschard places powerful Block Damage buff on all allies for 2 turns. Roschard also has an Aura that increases the Health of all allies in all battles by 33%.

Roschard sole purpose is to protect the team in combat. He can indeed be used as Tank in Void Keep, Magic Keep and Spirit Keep but his full potential is only seen in Arena Defense where he will annoy everyone who attacks his team. Ignoring Damage for 2 turns is very stressful for anyone and that is the reason why Roschard is part of almost every Arena Defense Meta team.

Like all Tanks, Roschard benefits the most from HP%, Defense%, Speed and Resist. Because he is not very fast and you want him that he can use Zone of Protection as much as possible it is best that he is equipped with 3 Speed Sets.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

NOROG

Norog is a Legendary Defense Champion from the Skinwalkers Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Norog is very fast for a Defense Champion and he has a considerable amount of Defense. His Health Bar is not very big and his Attack Power is mediocre. The sole reason why he is considered as one of the Best Champions is his ability to decrease received damage for all his teammates which can be decisive in certain game segments.

His first ability causes average damage to a single target and has a big chance of applying 50% Decrease ACC debuff for 2 turns. With his second ability, he attacks all enemies causing heavy damage and placing Block Buffs debuff on each target for 2 turns. His passive ability grants him immunity to Stun, Freeze, and Sleep, and permanently decreases DMG received by all his allies by 15%. His Aura increases the Defense of all allies in Dungeons by 40%.

Norog has no many uses in Dungeons or Campaign but his importance in Arena Defense is obvious. The fact that he can prevent enemies from gaining buffs and that he can decrease all incoming damage by 15% makes him an ideal choice for Arena Defense. He can be used in Arena Offense as well because of the same reasons but he will often be replaced with someone who can grant more damage.

As a Defense Champion Norog needs both Offense and Defense Gear so he should be equipped with Attack%, Defense% Critical Rate, Critical Damage and Speed items. Equipment Sets should also provide him both Offense and Defense therefore it is best that he wears 1 Offense Set, 1 Defense Set, and 1 Speed Set.

REINBEAST

Reinbeast is an Epic Defense Champion from the Skinwalkers Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic characters and weak against Spirit characters.

Reinbeast has a very good Defense and his Health Bar is considerable. However, he is very slow and his Attack Rating is minimal. Despite average (at best) primary stats, his abilities to do important things while attacking, pinpoint him to be another character among Best Champions who will be mentioned.

Basic ability attacks single target causing medium damage but it also applies 15% Continuous Heal buff to the ally with the lowest Health. Buff is applied after every basic attack! The second ability is called Open Slay and it causes heavy damage to the single target 2 times in a row. If this ability kills an enemy it will also Revive a random fallen ally with full Health. Reinbeast has a powerful passive ability that enables him to place a Shield buff equal to 35% of his Max Health whenever an ally is attacked. This can occur only once per turn and the Shield cannot be applied to Reinbeast.

After careful consideration we conclude that Reinbeast can be used in Minotaur’s Labyrinth, Dragon’s Lair, Ice Golem’s Peak and Void Keep but his full potential can only be seen in PvP or more precisely in Arena Defense. As an Epic Hero, Reinbeast is an ideal solution for every new player who wants to quickly climb to higher Arena Tiers.

Reinbeast needs combined gear since you need him to cause DMG and to survive enough that he can actually help your team., therefore Defense%, HP%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Resist gear suit him the best. Since he can heal with his basic ability it is obvious that he should be equipped with 1 Retaliation Set and 1 Speed Set.

GORGORAB

video guide

Gorgorab is an Epic Support champion from the Undead Hordes faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

His Main speed is 97, you’d want it to be at least double that. Aim to increase his HP and Defense by a significant margin, Defense should be at least at 3000. His Accuracy is not that important it should be somewhere between 150 and 200.

With his first skill ”Misfortune” he attacks an enemy and has a 50% chance to remove a random Buff from an enemy. The Buff chance can be increased up to 75% when this skill is Booked to Max.

The second ability ”Resurge” fills up the Turn Meter of all allies by 15%. The second part of this ability is that it places a Buff on all allies that increases their Attack by 50% for 2 turns.

His third ability ”Animate” revives any dead allies giving them 25% HP and then heals all allies by 25%. When Maxed out this ability can heal by 45% and has a lower Cooldown.

He has an Aura that increases the speed of an ally in the Arena by 23%.

As far as maxing out his skills with Books, all of the skills are worth it. But if you have a very small amount of books aim for the second and third skill. He is one of the best Champions for Early to Mid game Arena because of his second and third abilities along with his Aura. Because of his capabilities, he is a great pick for Dungeons and Faction Wars. In Clan Boss, Spider’s Den, Fire Knight, and Force Keep he is pretty miserable. His Campaign game is not that great. As far as other Dungeons(Dragon, Minotaur, Ice Golem, the Keeps) he’s quite a good pick. For gear use HP, Speed, Defense, and Accuracy sets. He lacks Defense and needs a huge amount of HP to build a Tank damage dealer. Expand the Defense and Support tree in Masteries. If you want to use him for Faction Wars expand until the [Evil Eye]in the Support tree as well as to the [Bullwark] in the Defense tree to take better damage.

SEEKER

video guide

Seeker is an Epic Defense Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

This Undead Vampire Bat has decent primary stats for an Epic Champion. He is very fast, has a considerable amount of Health while his Attack Power and Defense are above average. He may seem as ordinary Hero but his Aura and powerful buffs prioritize him before some other Champions.

With his basic ability, he attacks a single target causing medium damage 2 times in a row. His second ability fills the Turn Meter of all allies by 30% and applies a 50% Increase Attack buff on them for 2 turns Upon executing this skill Seeker is granted an Extra Turn. Dark Blood passive ability enables him to be healed by 20% of his Max Health whenever he is critically hit and when that occurs he places a 60% Increased DEF buff on all allies for 2 turns. Dark Blood is a passive ability but it has 6 turns cooldown meaning that it can be executed for 6 turns after the first critical hit landed on Seeker. Seeker also has a powerful PvP aura that increases the Defense of all allies by 30% in the Arena.

Seeker is nothing more than ordinary when we talk about PvE but when he is used in the Arena he becomes a beast. A safe choice for any new player who is lucky enough to summon him.

As a Defense Champion Seeker needs Defense%, HP%, Speed and Accuracy items. Since he already has an extra turn with one of his skills it may be smart to equip him with Relentless Set and provides him with more opportunity for Extra Turns. If you can’t do that equip him with 3 Speed Sets which is always a safe choice for someone who needs to play as more often as he can.

ELENARIL

video guide

Elenaril is a Legendary Attack Champion from the High Elves Faction. Her affinity is Magic meaning that she is strong against Force characters and weak against Spirit Characters.

Elenaril has average primary Stats. Her Attack Power is above average but it is a bit lower compared to other Legendary Attack Champions. She is very squishy since her Health Bar is very low but her Defense is considerably high. Her speed is not great at all. Nevertheless, she is a Champion who why applies DoT (damage over time) with every skill and that is the reason why she is considered as one of the Best Champions for certain game segments.

With her basic ability, she causes heavy damage to a single target and applies HP Burn debuff for 2 turns. This debuff cannot be resisted. With her second skill, she causes massive damage against all enemies and places 5% Poison debuff for 2 turns. Targets hit by critical strike receive another 5% Poison debuff. Her third ability is called Combust and it accumulates the damage of all Poison debuffs into the Poison Explosion that will be executed instantly (works on Bosses in full strength). Her Aura increases the Critical Rate of all allies in faction Crypts by 24%.

Elenaril is an ideal Champion for battles against Bosses with a large amount of health since her DoTs lower the percent of enemy’s Max Health. Obviously, she is very good for Clan Boss battles but her strength can be used in some other Dungeons as well. She is a weaker version of Zavia but her Poison Explosion causes full DMG to Bosses. Elenaril’s main weakness is her squishiness.

As the majority of Attack Champions, Elenaril benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy items. She should be equipped with 2 Offense Sets or 1 Lifesteal Set and 1 Speed Set.

SKULLCRUSHER

video guide

Skullcrusher is an Epic Defense Champion from the Ogryn Tribes Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit.

Skullcrusher has acceptable base stats. His base Speed is 98 which high enough and can be enhanced to almost 200, but you must be careful that his speed does not exceed the Speed of other members of the team (we will talk about that later). His Health Pool is really good for an Epic Defense Champion and allows him to withstand almost anything with just a little enhancement from the artifacts. His base Defense is high but truth to be told it could be higher if we compare him with other similar Champions so it is of utmost importance that Defense will be risen to at least 5000. The attack is not important for him since all his abilities scale with Defense. Scullcrusher is arguably the best Epic Champion in the game because he is the only Epic Champion who places mass [Counterattack] buff beside Legendary Champions, Valkyrie and Martyr.

His first ability is “Smash”. It attacks a single target causing moderate damage and places 50% [Heal Reduction] debuff if the target has lower Defense than Skullcrusher. If this ability is fully upgraded (4 Epic Books), its damage output is increased by 20%. With the appropriate equipment, Skullcrusher will always have the highest Defense in the battle, therefore he will always apply a 50% [Heal Reduction] debuff. This ability is especially effective against the Spirit Keep Boss, but unfortunately, Spirit is opposite to Force.

His second ability and his trade-mark are “Stonewall”. This ability places a 50% [Ally Protection] buff and a [Counterattack] buff on all allies except Skullcrusher for 2 turns. Additionally, Skullcrusher is buffed with [Unkillable] buff for 1 turn. The cooldown of this ability can be reduced to 3 turns (1 Epic Book). This is probably the best ability given to Epic Champion. In order to avoid wasting counterattacks, Skullcrusher must play the last in your team so if your slowest Champion beside Skullcrusher has 196 Speed, Skullcrusher should have 195 Speed at most. In this way, all your Champions will use their [Counterattack] buff when attacked by the Boss.

Skullcrusher’s passive ability is “Unshakeable”. It decreases the duration of all debuffs on Skullcrusher by 1 turn at the start of each turn. This can be very useful, especially if Skullcrusher is targeted with Clan Boss’ [Stun] ability.

Skullcrusher has also an Aura that increases Ally RESIST in Faction Crypts by 45. It is not the most powerful Aura in the game but it could be effective in Faction Wars.

Skullcrusher is a God Tier Champion for Clan Boss, Fire Knight Castle and Faction Wars but he can be used with success in Arena Defense and Dungeons as well. Mass Counterattack ability is game-changing and only Martyr and Valkyrie, who are best Champions in the game, can use it beside Skullcrusher. That is the reason why Skullcrusher is so important and why he should be maximized at all costs. Using him with Valkyrie or Martyr together will be even better than using him alone so if you don’t have both Valkyrie and Martyr (best Synergy for Clan Boss) you can use Skullcrusher with the almost same efficiency.

Skullcrusher needs Speed, Defense% and HP% items. If you want to build him for Spirit Keep you will need Accuracy items as well but that should be done only as a last resort (if you don’t have any other Champion with [Heal Reduction]). Optimal build for Skullcrusher is 2 Speed Sets and 1 Defense Set or 1 Lifesteal Set and 1 Speed Set if you are lacking powerful healer. Skullcrusher should learn Masteries from Offense Tree and Defense Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim [War Master] and [Methodical] while in Defense Tree he should go after [Deterrence] and [Retribution].

LONGBEARD

Longbeard is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Skinwalkers Faction. His affinity is Magic meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Spirit characters.

Longbeard has a decent Attack Power and a considerable amount of Health. His Defense is above average but he is not very fast. He is a powerful single target damage dealer whose all skills are focused to obliterate the unfortunate target of Longbeard’s choosing.

His basic ability inflicts heavy damage against the single target and ignores any Shield or Block Damage buff. His second ability causes even greater DMG against a single enemy and it applies 25% Weaken debuff for 2 turns. His third skill is called Horde’s Fury for a reason. Longbeard causes massive damage against a single target and summons all allies to attack that target with their basic abilities increased by 20%. Longbeard also has an Aura that increases the Critical Rate of all allies in Dungeons by 23%.

As a single target damage dealer Longbeard has many uses in some Dungeons and PvP but his full potential can only be seen in Clan Boss battles where he can drastically improve the overall damage output. It may seem that single target DMG dealers cannot be compared with Champions like Zavia or Big’Un, but Longebeard and some other Champions totally deserve to be mentioned as the Best Champions.

Lonbeard benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed, and Accuracy based gear. For the best results, he should wear 2 Offense Sets and 1 Speed Set, although Lifesteal Set can sometimes be the best choice for him.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

BLOODGORGED

Bloodgorged is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic characters and weak against Spirit characters.

His Attack Power is very high but lower compared to some other powerful Attack Champions. He has a considerable amount of Health considering that he is Attack Champion but his Defense is very low. His main weakness is his speed which is very low. Blodgorged’s skillset is decent, especially for certain game segments.

His basic ability causes medium damage against the single target 2 times in a row and has a good chance to apply a 60% Decrease in Defense debuff for 2 turns. His second skill attacks all enemies causing heavy damage and prolonging the cooldown of one of each target’s skills. Decapitate is his third ability that causes devastating damage against the single target ignoring Defense and preventing that target from reviving if it is killed.

Bloodgerged can be used with success Magic Keep, Force Keep, PvP, Campaign and Clan Boss battles but his true power can be seen in Ice Golem’s Peak where he will prevent Ice Golem from reviving its adds. Very low Speed prevents him from being more important but nevertheless, he has qualities.

As all Attack Champions Bloodgorged benefits the most from Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Accuracy and Speed items. He is best when he wears 2 Offense Sets and 1 Speed Set.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

GHOSTBORN

Ghostborn is Legendary Support Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. His affinity is Spirit meaning that he is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

Ghost born has very good primary stats considering that he is a Support character, His Health is somewhat lower compared to other top Support Champions but his Attack Power and Defense are very high. He should be faster for being overwhelming but he is not slow at all.

His basic ability attacks a single target causing medium DMG with a 50% chance of placing a 60% Decrease in Defense debuff for 2 turns. His second skill causes heavy damage depending on the Speed of the Ghostborn to all enemies with a 75% chance to apply 100% Heal Reduction debuff for 2 turns. His third ability also attacks all enemies causing devastating damage. This ability has a 75% chance to place 60% Decrease Defense debuff which cannot be resisted for 2 turns on each target and grants 50% Increase Attack buff on all allies for 2 turns. Ghostburn also ahs an Aura that increases ACC of all allies in Faction Crypts by 65.

As you can see Ghostburn’s qualities can be used almost everywhere but the fact is that he is ideal only for Spider’s Den, Force Keep and even Spirit Keep (he can place 100% Heal Reduction which is the most important for Spirit Keep). Being a Support Champion does not always mean healing or buffing as we can see on Ghostburn who is primarily a damage dealer.

Because of all this, Gjostburn benefits the most from gear meant for Attack Champions which means that he should be equipped with Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Speed and Accuracy based items. Also, for reaching his full potential he needs 2 Offense Sets and 1 Speed Set or you can try to provide him with even more debuffs using a Stun Set along with Speed Set.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

DUCHESS LILITU

Duchess Lilitu is a Legendary Support Champion from the Demonspawn Faction. Her affinity is Spirit meaning that she is strong against Force characters and weak against Magic characters.

She has a waste amount of Health almost as she is a Tank and her Defense is accordingly also very high. She is not the fastest Champion in the game but she is fast enough to be dangerous. All this comes at the cost of her minimal Attack Power but since her only attacking ability is dependable on her Defense, it doesn’t really matter. Duchess Lilitu is a Support Champion who protects her allies by sending them into shadows and making them untargetable.

Her basic ability causes medium damage against the single target two times in a row and then places a Shield equal to 10% of her Max Health on her and lowest Health ally. This Shield lasts 2 turns. Her second skill is called Shroud of Souls and it applies a 50% Increase Attack buff as well as Block Debuf buff on all allies for 2 turns. Additionally, this ability grants Perfect Veil to all allies except Lilitu for 2 turns. Perfect Veil is similar to Veil (target is in stealth and it cannot be targeted unless all other targets are under the Veil or it is the last survivor on the battlefield) except targets can remain in Stealth after they perform an attack. Lilitu’s third ability revives all fallen allies with 70% Health, applies Continuous Heal on all allies for 2 turns and places a Veil on everyone except Lilitu for 1 turn. Lilitu has also a mighty passive ability that decreases AOE damage received of all allies by 25% (15% from Bosses) and it can be more decreased if the allies are under the effect of Veil or Perfect Veil. Lilitu’s Aura increases Speed of all allies in all Battles by 19%.

Lilitu is so powerful that she can be used in practically any situation as both Supporter and Protector. She will not cause any damage at all but she will prolong the durability of her team at least two times more. Spirit Keep and Magic Keep are the only places where her presence is not required.

For additional survivability, Lilitu needs Defense%, HP%, Speed and Resist based items. Ideal gear for her should contain 2 Speed Sets and 1 Life Set or 1 Retaliation Set (to maximize Shield buffing) and 1 Speed Set.

KRISK THE AGELESS

video guide

Krisk the Ageless is a Legendary Defense champion from the Lizardmen faction. His affinity is Void meaning that he has no advantages or disadvantages against other affinities.

He has a base speed of 94 which is not that great for a Legendary Void Champion. His attacks are based on Defense along with being Void and Legendary makes him almost one of the best champions in the game.

Krisks’ first skill called ”Enter Morass” is an AoE that has a 30% chance of debuffing a target by decreasing their speed by 30%. The chance of debuffing can be upgraded up to 50% by using Legendary Books.

The second skill ”Centuried Vigor” is an AoE ability as well. Next to attacking his enemies, he places a 50% [Ally Protection Buff] while casting [Continuous Heal] for a turn. This ability increases the duration of all cast Buff by 1 turn making Krisk best suited to attack last of all the heroes.

His third ability ”Invincible Shell” places a Provoke Debuff on all enemies. This skill increases Defense by 60% of Krisk while increasing Speed of all allies by 30%, both of these buffs last for 2 turns. With Legendary Books cooldown of this ability can be reduced from 5 to 3 turns.

The Passive ”Might of Ages” gives a Shield Buff on all allies for 2 turns that is equal to the 50% of this Champions Max HP. While active he has a 75% chance to decrease Defense by 60% and Attack by 50%. All this can be maxed to a 100% chance if we use Legendary books on him. This is probably the best or one of the best Passives in the whole game. If you want to max out all of his skills it will take 14 Legendary books to do so. If you don’t have that many to spare you should aim to max out the Invincible Shell and his Passive.

Through the Dragon dungeon, Krisk can pull through even a not very well suited team for the job just by his buffs and debuffs. Overall Dungeon wise he is pretty good except for Fire Knight. He’s a great pick for the Arena. Not that great for XP Farming, if you can say that for a Legendary. He can shine in Clan Boss but with a specific set up.

Best Gear sets for Krisk are Defense and Attack Sets. In the masteries, you’d want to go through Defense and Support trees. In Support, you’ll want to get [Eagle Eye] to increase your Accuracy and have the best possible opportunity to land Provoke.

MARTYR

video guide

Martyr is Legendary Defense Champion from the Sacred Order Faction. Her affinity is Spirit meaning that she is strong against Force and week against Magic.

Martyr is an amazing Champion in almost every aspect of the game. Her base stats are incredible. Her base Health Pool is above 20k which is very good and allows her to be if not primary Protector for the team than secondary for sure. Her base Defense is also really high but it needs to be increased as much as possible. She is slow indeed, but she is meant to play the last in the team so that her [Counterattack] buff works properly. That doesn’t mean that she needs to remain slow (her Speed needs all the increase she can get) but she has to be the slowest in the team. All her skills scale with Defense, therefore Attack is not needed for her. Martyr is one of the 3 Champions with mass [Counterattack] which is arguably the most useful ability in the game meaning that she is the META Champion along with Valkyrie.

Her first ability is “Rush”. It attacks a single target causing moderate damage with a 45% chance of placing a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. If fully upgraded the chance of debuffing will increase to 75% and the damage will be increased by 25%, but you will need 7 Legendary Books for that. This is very good first ability since big [Decrease DEF] is one of the most useful debuffs in the game but you cannot rely on it because the chance of debuffing is not certain even the ability is upgraded.

“Bastion of Faith” is her second ability and that is her trade-mark. With this ability Martyr places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff and a [Counterattack] buff on all allies for 2 turns. This ability is game-changing, especially for Clan Boss and Fire Knight and it is probably one of the best abilities in the entire game. The cooldown of this ability is 4 turns but it can be reduced to 3 turns with only 1 Legendary Book. It is of utmost importance that “Bastion of Faith” is upgraded!

Martyr’s third ability is “Suppression”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage and places a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns on each enemy. It also places a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn on the entire enemy team. Big [Decrease ATK] debuff is also one of the most useful debuffs in the game which can decrease the incoming damage significantly. When we know that Martyr places Provoke at the same time we conclude that this ability is also a game-changing. The cooldown of this ability is 6 turns but if upgraded it can be reduced to 4 turns which is amazing. For upgrading “Suppression” you will need 4 Legendary Books.

Martyr has also a powerful Aura that increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 33%. This is one of the most powerful Auras in the game and can be decisive if you lead a Defense based team (most probable course of action in the late-game).

As you can see Martyr has an incredible skill-set. All her abilities are best in its categories except the first ability that is also very good. It is true that “Bastion of Faith” and “Suppression” have to be upgraded but with a little luck you will spend no more than 10 Legendary Books which is ok. Martyr can be used almost everywhere. It is true that she is not very good as a speed XP farmer and in Spider’s Den but she can be used with success even there. No other Champion in Raid Shadow Legends can change your gaming experience as Martyr can. Along with a Valkyirie, she is the best Champion in the game currently!

Martyr needs Defense%, Speed, Accuracy, C.RATE, C.DMG, and HP% items. Do not forget to calculate her Speed to be the slowest in the team. That is important if you want to use [Counterattack] in full potential. Accuracy is much needed but not mandatory if you want to build her as a damage dealer. I prefer having at least 220 ACC with her. The optimal build for Martyr is 2 Speed Sets and 1 Defense Set. Obviously, Martyr will be primarily used against Clan Boss so she should learn Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Support Tree, she should aim [Methodical] and [War Master] while in Support Tree she should go after [Lasting Gifts] and [Master Hexer].

VENUS

Venus is a Legendary Support Champion from the Sacred Order Faction. Her affinity is Void meaning that she doesn’t have advantages or disadvantages against other Champions.

She is very fast and has more Health than many other Tanks but her Attack and Defense are mediocre. Venus is a master debuffer who does not particularly strengthen the team but who can literally devastate enemy defenses with negative effects.

Her skills target all enemies and have a good chance to apply HP burn, Decrease DEF and Weaken debuff to each opponent for 2 turns. Her basic skill targets the single target two times and each strike has a 50% chance to apply Poison for 2 turns. Her damage output is not high but it is considerably greater compared to other Support Champions. Venus has a special synergy with Cupidus that allows her to execute a secret skill that enables her to remove all buffs from enemies with a decent chance that she plays again after using it. Venus Aura is also powerful and it increases the Health of all allies by 33% in battles.

Venus is a versatile Champion whose virtues can be used in all segments of Raid Shadow Legends. Being a Void Champion with multiple AOE makes her desirable in any situation but it needs to be said that she is not the best in any category, although it may seem opposite.

Venus equipment should be focused on Attack%, Speed and Accuracy. Giving her Speed Set and Lifesteal Set is probably the safest option but there are also other possibilities.

VALKYRIE

video guide

Valkyrie is a Legendary Defense Champion from the Barbarians Faction. Her affinity is Spirit, so she is strong against Force and weak against Magic.

Valkyrie has very good base stats. Her base Speed is 104 which is very good for a Defense Champion. Her base Health Pool is not great but it can be enhanced with artifacts. On the other hand, her Defense is amazing and enables her to withstand anything that comes in her way and since all her attacks are DEF based she is capable of causing enormous damage. Her Attack Power is really small but that doesn’t matter since Valkyrie’s skill damage is dependable on her DEF. Most importantly all those stats are practically irrelevant compared to her skill-set.

Her first ability is “Denigration”. It attacks a single target 2 times causing moderate damage and decreases the enemy’s Turn Meter by 10% on each hit if the target has any buffs. If upgraded, the damage of this ability can be increased by 25% but you will need 5 Legendary Books to do that.

The second ability is “Stand Firm”. It attacks all enemies causing moderate damage. At the same time, it places [Shield] buff on all allies for 3 turns and [Counterattack] buff on all allies for 2 turns. The value of [Shield] and the damage done is proportional to the Valkyrie’s DEF. This ability can be upgraded 7 times increasing its damage, [Shield] value and reducing its cooldown. Since “Stand Firm” is probably in the top 5 abilities in the entire game it is of utmost importance that it can be used as much as possible so decreasing its cooldown to 3 turns should be the first priority.

Valkyrie’s passive ability is “Jealousy”. It grants that Valkyrie’s Turn Meter will be increased by 10% each time an enemy Champion places a buff. Enemy Champions will have their Turn Meter decreased by 10% for each buff they receive.

Valkyrie has also an Aura that increases Ally DEF in Faction Crypts by 33%. This Aura can be useful but it is not something that influences the game overall.

Valkyrie is not a typical Defense Champion because her main purpose is not to protect herself and the team but to deliver constant damage to her opponents. Her second ability is arguably one of the best abilities in the game and it must be upgraded. Valkyrie needs 12 Legendary books in total for the full upgrade which is not much considering the benefits she provides for the team. Along with Martyr, she is definitely the best Champion for Clan Boss and she is a Top Tier Champion for Arena Defense, Campaign, Fire Knight, Minotaur’s Lair, Dragon’s Lair, Ice Golem’s Peak, Void Keep, Force Keep, and Faction Wars, as well. It is important to say that in order to be effective and that [Counterattack] works properly, Valkyrie must play last in the team (if Martyr is in the same team, she should be last and Valkyrie should play right before her). Because of that, her final Speed should be around 200 and you must be careful that other members of your team have better Speed than her.

Her equipment must be focused on Defense%, Speed, Critical, rate and Critical Damage while she benefits the most from Defense Sets and 2 Speed Sets. If her Speed is already high enough she can also use a Lifesteal set for an additional sustain. When we talk about masteries Valkyrie should focus on Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, she should aim [Warmaster] and [Kill Streak] while in Support Tree she should go after [Lasting Gifts] and [Lore of Steel].

ELDER SKARG

Elder Skarg is a Legendary Attack Champion from the barbarians Faction. His affinity is Force which means that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit Champions.

His AP is amazing and it is one of the highest in the game. He is also very fast for a single-target damage dealer and he has a decent amount of Health but his Defense is low. Elder Skarg is specialized for single targets although he can apply mass fear.

His main offense skill delivers 3 strikes to the single target and causes 1 extra strike per each buff or debuff on the target up to the maximum of 3 extra strikes. This skill is devastating because it unleashes full Elder Skarg’s Attack Power up to 6 times against the single target which is usually enough to kill any opponent in the Arena. His basic attack strikes the single target once and applies Increased Speed on Elder Skarg if the strike is critical. If the strike is not critical it greatly increases his Critical Rate instead. Elder Skarg has an Aura that increases Critical Rate by 30% to all allies in the Arena and he has a passive ability that decreases the Damage Received from Legendary Champions by 15%.

It is obvious that Elder Skarg’s role should be bound to Arena Offense and Arena Defense but he could be used in some Dungeons (Fire Knight’s Castle) as well.

Elder Skarg should be equipped with Attack%, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Speed gear. Combining 1 Speed Set and 2 Critical Damage Sets is the best solution for maximizing Elder Skarg’s damage output.

FU-SHAN

Fu-Shan is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Lizardmen Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit Champions.

All Stats of Fu-Shan are above average except extremely high Speed.

He has a skill that strikes 4 times randomly with a 50% chance to apply a 60% Decrease DEF debuff with each strike. His other skill strikes all targets two times with a 20% chance to apply Stun on each target. Statistics say that after executing Frightful Claws (the name of the second skill) there is more than 90% chance that 2 enemies are stunned for the next turn, which is amazing. His basic skill simply transfers his Attack Power to the single target once with a 25% chance to repeat that action again. At the top of all that, Fu-Shan has an Aura that increases Speed by 24% in all battles and that is extremely useful in Arena Offense.

Obviously, Fu-Shan is a DMG dealer who can be used with success in all Dungeons and whose role in the Arena should not be underestimated. His damage output is not as great as Zavia’s, but his ability to cast “multi-stun” and cause serious damage at the same time is what makes him special.

Fu-Shan’s gear should be focused on Attack%, Speed, Accuracy, and Critical Rate. For the Arena, he should be equipped with 2 Divine Offense and 1 Divine Speed Set (not-divine sets are usable also) while for other segments he should be equipped with Lifesteal Set and Speed Set.

DRACOMORPH

video guide

Dracomorph is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Lizardmen Faction. His affinity is Magic which means that he is strong against Spirit and weak against Force.

Dracomorph’s base Stats are very good for an Attack Champion. His base Attack is very high which is good especially since Attack equipment shouldn’t be your priority because Dracomorph needs heavy sustain in the end-game. His base Defense is acceptable but it needs to be at least 3000. Health Pool is pretty low but with the right artifacts, it can be increased high enough. Dracmorph’s base speed is 98 which is good and allows him to easily become high enough for the end-game

Dracomorph is the Champion who applies all the nasty debuffs you like to see on the enemy with 100% certainty unless it is resisted and that is why he needs all the ACC he can get.

His basic attack is “Seeping Pain”. It targets a single enemy once and its damage increases by 10% for each debuff applied on that target. If Dracomorph kills an enemy with the basic attack he automatically hits 1 random enemy with the surplus of damage from the first attack multiplied by 3. If fully upgraded (4 Legendary books), the damage output of this ability can be increased by 25%.

Dracomorph also has a skill that hits 4 times randomly and applies [Poison] debuff for 3 Turns with each strike. This skill is “Poison Jaws” and it is especially effective against Dungeon Bosses and Clan Boss since it can apply up to 4 Poison debuffs instantly. If fully upgraded (4 legendary Books) damage of this ability is increased by 35% and its cooldown is reduced by 1 turn (becomes 3-turns cooldown).

His third ability is a game-changer and his trade-mark. It is called “Baleful Eye”. Ability to apply a 25% [Weaken] and a 60% [Decrease DEF] for 2 turns is probably the best debuff skill in the entire game. Most importantly if this ability is fully upgraded (2 Legendary Books) its cooldown is decreased for 2 turns (becomes a 3-turn cooldown) which means that Dracomorph is able to lockdown Boses with 2 best debuffs for the almost entire duration of the battle)

Dracomorph’s Aura increases the Accuracy of all allies in Faction Crypts by 50. This Aura is practically made for Dracomorph to become an irreplaceable member of the Lizardmen Faction Wars team.

Dracomorph is ideal Champion for all segments of the game except Fire Knight Castle where he can also be very effective since he can strike the Fire Knight 4 times in a row bringing down his Shield (unfortunately he can not place Poison debuffs if Shields are up). He is also not very good for speed XP farming but he can be used for getting 3 stars on all Campaign missions. All in all, if you are lucky enough to ger Dracomorph most of your problems regarding the game will be solved. In short, Dracomorph is a Top Tier Champion in the true meaning of that word.

As an Attack Champion, it may seem that Dracomorph needs Attack% gear but truth to be told he should be built as support Champion for the end game. Therefore, the best gear for him is the gear with Speed, Accuracy, HP%, and Defense%. Perfect build for Dracomorph should have 1 Immortal Set, 1 Divine Speed Set and 1 Speed Set but you can use other combinations as well as long as he is buffed with enough ACC, HP, and DEF to sustain end-game attacks and to place his debuffs at 100% certainty. Dracomorph should learn the Offense Tree and Support Tree. In Offense Tree, he should aim [War Master] and [Kill Streak] while in Support Tree he should go after [Master Hexer] and [Cycle of Magic].

HAKKORHN SMASHLORD

video guide

Hakkorhn Smashlord is a Legendary HP Champion from the Skinwalkers Faction. His affinity is magic which means that he is strong against Spirit and weak against Force.

He is very fast for an HP Champion and the amount of his Health is one of the greatest in the game. His Defense is mediocre and attack is very low but since all his damage output depends on his health that doesn’t really matter.

Hakkorhn Smashlord sacrifices his health to inflict enormous DMG against all enemies. The damage output of this ability is 50% of Hakkorhn’s Max health meaning that he can devastate enemy ranks with just one ability. He is also able to remove all debuffs from the entire team and to heal all allies for a portion of his Health. This healing can be even more increased depending on the number of debuffs he removed. His basic attack strikes a single target once and has a 40% chance to apply Stun. Hakkorhn also has an Aura that increases HP of all allies in all battles by 33%.

As you can see Hakkorhn Smashlord can be used with great success in almost all segments of the game except in Clan Boss battles and Fire Knight Castle. Spider Dan is another Dungeon which is not ideal for Hakkorhn but since he has one devastating AOE he is a definitely better solution that some other single-target based Champions.

Ideal gear for Hakkorhn Smashlord is HP%, Speed, Critical Rate and Critical Damage while he must be equipped with Lifesteal set and Speed Set because he needs constant healing. Hakkorhn’s AOE is one of the strongest in the game but that is not the only reason why he deserved his place in Raid Shadow Legends Best Champions List.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

BRAKUS THE SHIFTER

Brakus the Shifter is a Legendary Attack Champion form the Skinwalkers Faction. His affinity is Force implicating that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit.

Brakus is fast and he has a huge amount of Health if we consider that he is an Attack Champion. On the other hand, his damage sustain is minimal and his attack is not as high as other Top Attack Champions.

That is because he has a passive ability which increases his DMG output by 40% when his health drops below 40%. Additionally, this passive ability grants him one Revive upon death with 20% of Health restored. Brakus is probably the best single-target damage dealer in Raid Shadow Legends at the moment. Hunter’s Howl ability increases the Attack of all allies for 3 turns and then strikes the selected target 3 times in the row. Each hit has a 50% chance to apply True Fear for 1 turn, and an additional 50% chance to apply Fear on 2 random enemies if the True Fear is applied. Fool Moon Rampage ability is even stronger. It strikes a single enemy 6 times in the row (!!??!!) and heals Brakus for a 25% of inflicted DMG. This healing is even greater if the target is under True Fear or Fear debuff. Also, after the first hit, there is a 75% chance that Brakus apply Weaken on unfortunate target. His basic skill is not overpowered as other 2 skills – it strikes primary target once and heals Brakus for 15% of inflicted damage.

Brakus is the best Champion in the game for Fire Knight’s Castle but he can be used in other game segments as well as Arena Offense, Dragon’s Lair or Minotaur’s Labyrinth.

Ideal equipment for Bracus should be focused on Attack%, Speed, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Accuracy. Since he already has 2 abilities with Lifesteal it would be wise that he is equipped with 2 Divine Offense Sets and 1 Divine Speed Set. Brakus is on the Raid Shadow Legends Best Champions List for a reason and he should not be underestimated.

HARVEST JACK

video guide

Harvest Jack is a Legendary HP Champion from Undead Faction. His affinity is Spirt which indicates that he is strong against Force and weak against Magic Champions.

His Health pool is incredible and he is very fast for HP Champions but his Defense and Attack are below average.

Two of his skills hit all enemies and the damage is based on his Health so his damage output is very high regardless of his low attack. Lord of Terror ability strikes all enemies and has a 75% chance to place a True Fear debuff on each target. If True Fear is not applied there is a 75% chance to place Sleep instead, but if True Fear is applied it also places 30% Decreased Speed for 2 turns and decreases each target’s Turn Meter by 15%. Dreams to Ash ability also hits all enemies and places Block Buffs debuff on every target that already has the Fear debuff. Additionally, this skill flips Increase Attack buff into Decrease Attack debuff and Continuous Heal buff into Poison debuff (the number of Poison debuffs is equal to the number of Continuous Heal buffs removed). Harvest Jack’s basic skill is known as Harvest of Fear and it hits one target 3 times. Each hit has a slight chance to steal buffs and the same chance to apply Fear. If all buffs are stolen, the chance of applying Fear is increased to 100%. Harvest Jack’s passive ability enables him to decrease the duration of buffs to any Champion that assaults him.

Harvest Jack can be successfully used in Arena, Campaign or Force Keep.

Best gear for him should be based on HP%, Speed and Accuracy while 1 Lifesteal set and 1 Speed set should utilize his abilities in the best possible way.

The qualities of Harvest Jack are usually overlooked but when you equip him correctly and start to rely on his virtues you will see that his place in Raid Shadow Legends Best Champions List is well deserved.

VIZIER OVELIS

Vizier Ovelis is a Legendary Attack Champion from the Dark Elves Faction. Vizier’s affinity is Force which means that he is Strong against Magic and weak against Spirit Champions.

His stats are average compared to other Champions of the same type but his skill set is something that sets him apart.

At the start of each battle, Vizier applies Perfect Veil on self for 2 turns. Vizier of Poisons ability strikes one enemy and spreads 2 random negative effects from that enemy to all other enemies. If the target has 2 or more debuffs on self before executing Vizier of Poisons, Vizier applies Perfect Veil on self for 3 turns. Master of Misery skill strikes one target twice. Each hit has a 50% chance to apply Block Buffs debuff, Decrease Attack debuff and Heal Reduction Debuff for 2 turns. Vizier’s basic ability strikes primary target 3 times in a row with a 35% chance to decrease all debuffs by 1 turn with each hit. Vizier also has an Aura that increases the Attack of all allies in Dungeons by 34%.

Vizier is ideal for Fire Knight’s Castle and Clan Boss battles, although he can be very successful in Dragon’s Lair, Spirit Keep, Magic Keep, Ice Golem’s Peak, Force Keep, and Void Keep as well. Placing him in the Arena team could be smart but truth to be told there are much better options.

If you chose to Put Vizier in your Arena team be sure to equip him with 2 Divine Offense Sets and 1 Divine Speed set, otherwise he should be equipped with 1 Lifesteal Set and 1 Speed Set. All pieces of his gear should be based primarily on Attack%, Accuracy, and Speed while Critical Chance and Critical Damage gear could be helpful for certain builds.

Vizier Ovelis is one of the Champions whose usefulness exceeds placement on the Raid Shadow Legends Best Champions List.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

TRUNDA GILTMALET

video guide

Trunda Giltmallet is a Legendary Attack champion from the Dwarves faction. Her affinity is Magic meaning that she is strong against Spirit characters and weak against Force characters.

Her base speed is 100. Her base Crit Damage is slightly buffed at 63% and it should be increased over 200%, her base HP is pretty high standing at 22800 while you should increase it to 40000.

With her first ability is ‘’Golden Mallet’.’ She attacks an enemy two times and has a 50% chance to place a Stun Debuff for a turn after the second attack. The books max out this ability by increasing the attack damage and increasing the Buff chance.

The second ability is ‘’Cloak of Ages’’. With it she attacks one enemy and then all other enemies with a second hit dealing 60% of the damage from the first hit. This is ultimately an AoE ability. Books increase the damage of the second attack up to 80% of the damage dealt to the first enemy, unfortunately, she doesn’t have the possibility of reducing the 4 turn cooldown.

At least her third ability is  an AoE as well. ‘’Forge Rhythm’’ attacks all enemies an has a 70% chance to place a Stun Debuff for one turn. All those that were afflicted by Stun get an HP Burn Debuff for two turns and she hits once again those that were not affected by Stun. Books only increase the damage of this ability just like the second ability.

With her passive ‘’Swift Justice’’ her Resistance increases by 10 for each Stun Debuff this champion places. This part of the passive stacks up to 100. For each enemy that is affected by the HP Burn Debuff, Trunda gains 5 points of Speed, this stacks up to 15 points.

Her Aura increases the Attack of Magic Allies by 36% in all Battles.

If you decide to spend some Books on her aim to max out the ‘’Forge Rhythm’’.

She’s quite a versatile character. Depending on what you want to do with her you can build her in the Accuracy direction and place a lot of Stuns which is the best to use in Faction Wars or you can completely avoid any Accuracy building to get her to deal massive amounts of damage through her third ability building her for the Arena. She can be built in the direction of Speed and Lifesteal as well.

If you decide to go the Accuracy route, use the Accuracy Banner, if not use an Attack Banner. Crit Damage would be needed either way and you can increase that with an Amulet and Ring or if you want to use Trunda as a Tank use a Defense Amulet and a Defense Ring. Use Speed Boots, Attack Chest plate unless she’s a tank then use defense. Gauntlets should be Crit Rate, Crit Damage.

Because of her Versatility, she is great in almost everything except for Clan Boss and Fire Knight. As far as Keeps go she’s not amazing but she can pull through.

In the Masteries you can go almost any route. Either Support or Defense tree has their advantages and disadvantages. But if you decide to go to the Support tree get the [Evil Eye] mastery, give her some Accuracy as well through [Pinpoint Accuracy], [Master Hexer] will help with the HP Burn Debuff.

You can find this champion’s placement in Raid Shadow Legends Tier List table on this page.

MAULIE TANKARD

Maulie Tankard is a Legendary Support Champion from the Dwarves Faction. Her affinity is Spirit, so she is strong against Force and weak against Magic Champions.

Maulie is a Support Champion but her stats are similar or even better than most Defense Champions and she is fast as hell.

Her passive ability increases the Turn Meter of all allies every time she is hit by an enemy (if she is hit by the Boss increment is even greater). She can also Revive any ally who dies with 50% Health and with Block Damage buff applied for 1 turn. Bar Brawl ability places Provoke on all enemies for 1 turn with the chance that each target receives Provoke debuff for 2 turns instead. At the same time, she places Reflect Damage buff on herself. Her basic ability strikes the primary target once and inflicts additional DMG if the target has HP Burn debuff applied.

Maulie Tankard has a great synergy with Trunda Giltmalet and two of them together are almost unbeatable in the Arena. Truth to be told that is the sole reason why Maulie Tankard is placed on Raid Shadow Legend Best Champions List in the first place since she has no many other uses in the game.

Maulie should be built like a tank since she is actually a tank and not Support so her equipment should be focused only on Defense%, HP%, and Speed. She does not benefit much from the Lifesteal Set which indicates that she should be equipped with some other Sets. My suggestion is 1 Retaliation Set or 1 Frost Set and 1 Defense Set.

DEFILED SINNER

Defiled Sinner is an Epic Attack Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction. His affinity is Force meaning that he is strong against Magic and weak against Spirit Champions.

This is the only Epic Champion on Raid Shadow Legends Best Champion list and his Stats are average at best while his Speed is below average for his class. The only purpose why I have chosen to place the Defiled Sinner the list is because he is ideal for Spider’s Den Dungeon.

Corrosive Smog skill strikes all enemies and its damage is increased for each enemy on the battlefield. Ripe of Slaughter ability inflicts full strength of Defiled Sinner’s attack to the single target and if it kills the target it delivers damage equal to the portion of their Health to all other enemies. Defiled Sinner’s basic ability hits one target and has a 50% chance to apply Decrease Defense debuff for 2 turns before attacking, but if there are 5 or more enemies it hits all enemies and places Increased Attack buff on Defiled Sinner before attacking instead.

As you can see all Defiled Sinner’s abilities are made to deal with spiderlings and he will definitely help you to prevail in annoying Spider’s Den fight.

Defiled Sinner should be equipped with 1 Life steal and 1 Speed Set, while his equipment should be focused on Attack%, Speed, Critical Rate and Critical Damage.

You may say that this Champion does not deserve the place in Raid Shadow Legends Best Champions List but I wanted to pinpoint one Epic Champion who is specialized for certain game segments and my choice is newly introduced Defiled Sinner.
