Stick Fight: The Game Mobile for Android is currently only made available for testing by NetEase, which means its official release date is not far away. It is, of course, an adaptation of Steam’s Stick Fight: The Game PC version, which was released by Landfall back in 2017. The game is ingeniously simple and fun, and it has a depth to it that is quickly realized after just a few minutes of playing, so we’ve decided to write a thank you note and a thorough review at the same time.
NetEase, Inc. is a tech company hailing from China that delves into online tech, communication, and content, not specifically centered on video games but given though they are among the biggest internet companies in the world, that’s irrelevant. The titles credited with NetEase as developer and publisher include games like Tianxia III, Heroes of Tang Dynasty Zero, Westward Journey Online II, Fantasy Westward Journey, and others. They also have active partnerships with Blizzard Entertainment and have distributed local versions of World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft III, StarCraft II Overwatch, and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. So, they are quite a big deal in Asia and the world and are even among the first to have their own VR tech open world game called Nostos.
Stick Fight: The Game by Landfall West is a fast-paced, action-brawl, 2D party game that managed to go gather 89% positive reviews and ratings overall, as of October 2018, including all of the major and important sites. The official Steam Community score is “Very Positive” with over 22K reviews, as of March 2019.
The Google Play Android version is currently only available via invitation, as of March 2019, but testers are overall showing an even better response than the PC version. It has had over 10K installs so far and a 4.8-star rating.
Stick Fight: The Game steam version cost $5.64 and it sold in over 1 million copies since its release on September 28th, 2017.
The mobile version will bring the same experience to Android and it may even feel better and easier to control your stickman via the touchscreen.

Stick Fight Gameplay and Basics
As a kid, you undoubtedly at some point wanted to draw men fighting each other and naturally, you resorted to the grand art of stickman drawing. Nothing to be ashamed of, it can be a really artistic and expressive, just remember the cartoon La Linea. However, after just a few seconds of gameplay, you will get used to it and discover that Stick Fight multiplayer arena experience has a depth of its own.
Free For All Deathmatch
Upon entering a match, you will be given a random color and you and your opponents (2 to 4 players per match) will combat in a free for all Deathmatch. The match is divided into several rounds and whoever wins most of them is the overall winner. To win an individual round, you must be the last stickman standing.
However, this will not be made easy, as random weapons are constantly dropping all around for your enemies to pick up. Also, the map is constantly changing and collapsing probably. For instance, you may start randomly placed at equally advantageous locations as your opponents, but the map will soon begin to shift. Either the crates will begin falling, or an earthquake will wreak havoc, or the platform you are all standing on will simply turn over you will all plunge together to your deaths. If you drop down to the edge of the screen, it is over. So, as you try and kill others, you will need to do everything you can to stay alive for as much as you can, or at least be the last man dying (more likely).
Stick Fight Weapons
The weapons are where this game shows its creativity, as there is a wide array of guns available so far. You can get a magical sword that fires swords, guns that fire ammo or knives, and ever a bazooka that shoots snakes. Aiming is a bit tricky, which is intentionally adding up to the havoc of it all.
This will be a welcomed addition to any player who loves a good, quick brawl against friends or random opponents. Stick Fight The Game Mobile is a lot of fun and it is well worth trying. The game’s simple graphics are actually its virtue while the physics of Stick Fight is unprecedented. All in all: highly recommended, tons of fun, and very addictive.
