This morning, Jam City decided to surprise all of the fans of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery by rolling out a new update. This latest update brought plenty of new things, so let have a look at it.
First and foremost, winter has finally arrived, and you will instantly notice the change in the environment. The snow will be falling in pretty much all of the open areas of the game, and since the season of festivities is just starting, you’ll easily spot a lot of lovely decorations at various places within the game world. Both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade look exceptionally festive and wonderful, so be sure to check them out, especially the Three Broomsticks.
Other than this, the update also introduced a new crest event titled “House and Homemade”. The rewards for this one include some red, brown, and blue notebooks, as well as the house-themed sweater. To make things easier for you, helping Dumbledore with Christmas festivities is making a return this year as well. Like before, this task is located in the Great Hall, and its requirements and rewards are quite similar to regular three-hour classes. However, helping Dumbledore will award you extra crests (30% more per star than doing any other regular classes), so if you’re looking to earn some nice rewards from this event, you might as well consider helping the Headmaster while you’re at it.
Besides all of this, Jam City decided to give fans yet another surprise. This one comes in a form of community event titled “Christmas Countdown at Hogwarts”. For the next 12 days, be sure to check Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery’s social media, including their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages since they’ll be giving out various in-game goodies.
