Our story begins with Alfred feeling very tired, and wanting to tell his story before he falls asleep. He mentions that he worked as the servant at the palace of Versailles, and always had a lot of stories to share with his countrymen when he returned home on Sunday. Life in the palace was mostly good but there were also bad days, from time to time. And we begin our story with someone trying to catch up to Alfred.

The other servant is breathing heavily because he chased after him for some time. Once he finally caught up with Alfred he informs him that they have to move some mirror to the Comtesse de Noailles quarters. Confused Alfred has a bad feeling about this, but before he can react, the other servant starts pushing him toward the quarters of the departed Viscount. After he departed, the Viscount left the mirror behind, and the Countess has ordered the servants to bring it into her quarters. After finding out what was this all about, Alfred concludes that the nobles have quite a strange attitude about the mirrors.

As he walks toward the Viscount’s room after just realized that it is located in the Minister’s wing, next to the toilets. Apparently, there has been some leaking from the toilets, and the entire floor is foul-smelling. Both of them suddenly realize that Viscount’s room is just next to the toilets, so it should smell even worse than the rest of the floor.

Upon entering the Viscount’s room, both servants are almost overwhelmed with the foul smell. Alfred barely resisted the urge to throw up and wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. With that in mind, the two men grab the mirror and carry it out of the room as quickly as they could. Alfred can’t understand how anyone could live in these conditions.

Even after they carried the mirror out of the Minister’s wing, Alfred was still feeling sick and had the urge to throw up. The other servant begged him to hold on to the mirror, promising that they will soon arrive at their destination. Alfred barely managed to compose himself, but soon enough they reach the North Wing of the palace, and both feel a bit relieved with the goal finally in their sight.

When they finally reached the manor, they were greeted by the mean Comtesse, that threatened to whip them if they don’t pick up the pace. Both servants start climbing up the stairs and toward the Manor entrance when Alfred suddenly starts feeling very dizzy. Still feeling nausea, Alfred stumbles while climbing up the stairs and drops the mirror, which shatters into a thousand pieces in front of the Comtesse. As expected, she becomes furious. Poor Alfred tries to explain that he is still feeling sick from the foul smell inside the Viscount’s room, but angry Comtesse doesn’t want to listen to excuses.

Enraged Comtesse calls her two muscular servants, and orders them to discipline Alfred, by beating him up. Upon hearing this, the other servant that was carrying the mirror with Alfred ran away. Alfred, still on the ground, tries to get away from the brutes, but he was too slow and is quickly surrounded. When the brutes approached, Alfred saw their huge fists and muscles and realized that even a single punch from one of them would inflict serious damage.

The two brutes are slowly approaching Alfred, cracking their knuckles, while being cheered on by the Comtesse. She commands them to give Alfred a good beating and then throw him out. Poor Alfred begs for mercy, but his pleads fall on deaf ears. Comtesse de Noailles is ruthless.

Alfred screams and yells that they can’t just beat him up inside the Palace of Versailles. The brutes start laughing at this, but Comtesse coldly replies that she is noble, and therefore she can do whatever she wants inside the palace walls. At this moment, Alfred confirmed his suspicion from earlier that nobles don’t see them, commoners, as human beings. As the brutes are almost upon him, Alfred tries to cover his head with arms and prepare for the inevitable.

Suddenly, someone orders them to stop. Both Comtesse and her brutes are confused for a moment. They lower their fists and turn around to face the stranger.

This will mark the end of A Servant’s Resolve Stage 1-1 of Dress up Time Princess. You will receive the following rewards for completing the stage.

What will happen next? Will Alfred manage to avoid the beating, after this strange intervened? And who is the person that ordered the brutes to stop? Find out in the next stage.
