Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Helen of Sparta Stage 1-17 of Dress up Time Princess. Last time, after obtaining the Golden Apple, you went to the Temple to make an offering to Aphrodite. She appeared and after asking her to remove the curse that was placed on you, she told you to go to the Underworld and deliver her mirror to Adonis. Unfortunately, that won’t be an easy task to accomplish, and once again, you were forced to split up. Achilles decided to take care of the three-headed hound, Cerberus, while Apollo and you go to the River Styx ferryman and convince him to take you to the underworld. In order to do that, you will need to seek Orpheus, and ask him to borrow his lyre. The stage window will display the requirements, a short description, and rewards. Apollo will learn that Orpheus has been hiding in a town ever since he returned from the underworld. You will travel there to find him. Once you arrive, you’ll ask Apollo to tell you more about Orpheus and his reasons for visiting the underworld.

He will explain that Orpheus went into the underworld to bring back his wife Eurydice. He was so skilled with the lyre that his music moved the ferryman of the River Styx. And not only that, but he also managed to move the hearts of the King and Queen of the underworld.

You will be curious about the rest of the story. Apollo will say that King Hades agreed to let Eurydice return to the living, but Queen Persephone had an odd request. Apollo will pause for a moment, and you will be eager to hear the rest of the story.

He’ll go on and say that Orpheus’ music was powerful enough to move the emotionless Charon. Suddenly, you will hear a voice behind you saying he couldn’t stop himself from taking a glance at his wife.

You will turn around and see a young man standing nearby. He’ll say that he couldn’t resist joining in on your conversation after hearing gossip about himself. You will look at him and ask if he’s Orpheus. You’ll notice a lyre in his hands, and his face will look very lifeless. Apollo will let him tell you the rest of the story.

Orpheus will start his story by telling you about his wife. She was beautiful and lively and often took strolls in the forest with nymphs. You will notice a lot of love and caring while listening to his story.

Unfortunately, one day, she was bitten by a venomous snake and passed away. Orpheus will play a melancholic tune with his lyre while saying that. You will apologize for making him relive those memories.

He’ll tell you that it always brings him joy to sing of Eurydice’s kindness and beauty to others. That way, the memory of her will live on. Apollo will nod and say it’s a beautiful way of keeping her memory alive.

Orpheus will go on and tell you that his music moved Charon on the River Styx, as well as Cerberus. Even Queen Persephone teared up upon hearing his music. She allowed him to bring Eurydice back to the living, on one condition. You will quickly realize where the story is headed and start shaking. Apollo will try his best to calm you down.

You will ask him about the condition Queen Persephone set. Orpheus will explain that the thing she asked was for him to walk in front, with Eurydice behind him. Also, he wasn’t allowed to turn around and look at his wife until they exited the underworld. Unfortunately, he couldn’t stop himself from turning to look at her, which caused him to lose his wife forever.

That was the last time he ever saw his wife. After telling you his story, he’ll ask why you wanted to meet with him. Apollo will say he wants to borrow his lyre to move Charon with music, just like he did. He’ll admit he’s doing it for the most important lady in his life.

Orpheus will agree to Apollo’s proposition, but in exchange, he will ask him to find Eurydice and tell her how much he loves her. Apollo will nod and agree to deliver Orpheus’ message to his wife. Shortly after, the two of you will leave town.

Along the way, you will ask Apollo if Charon was moved by the music or Orpheus’ love for his wife. Your companion will grin and say it doesn’t matter since the two of you have both of those.

He will then ask if you want to hear his music. You’ll nod and agree to listen to it. You will sit under a nearby tree while he’ll stand beside you and start playing the lyre. Once he starts singing, you will wonder if he thinks you’re Achilles.

He will assure you that he’s referring to you. Suddenly, you will think about Apollo saying those same words to other girls, and an overwhelming sadness will start filling you. He will notice that something’s wrong and ask if you are upset about anything he said.

You will force yourself to smile at him and say you were just thinking about Orpheus and Eurydice, which made you sad. Apollo will say that you’ll always be the protagonist of his story.

You will look at Apollo and his beauty will fascinate you. Just by laying your eyes upon him, you will feel like you’re dreaming. You will wonder what will happen once the curse is removed.

Apollo will decide to play another musical piece for you. Suddenly, one of the lyre strings will snap, and he’ll quickly realize that Hermes is the one responsible for it. Moments later, he will appear in front of you in a puff of smoke and say that he was the one who gave Apollo the lyre.

Needless to say, your companion won’t be too happy about it. Hermes will laugh at him and warn you not to fall for a man’s words. Apollo will decide that he had enough, and he’ll grab the little guy by the neck and toss him into the distance.

You’ll ask Apollo if there’s any way to repair the lyre. He will think for a moment and tell you that lyre strings are made from deer tendons. Since Orpheus’ lyre is special, you will need the tendons of a golden deer to repair it.

You will ask if such a deer even exist. He’ll say that Artemis probably knows how to find one. Unfortunately, she would never allow anyone to hurt it. You will ask if there’s any other way to convince Charon to take you across the River Styx. Apollo will smile at you and suggest telling him your love story.

You will then get to choose whether you want to ask Artemis for deer tendons or play along as Apollo’s lover. This choice will drastically change the story, so keep that in mind.

If you decide to ask Artemis for deer tendons, you will suggest seeking her out. Apollo will be noticeably uncomfortable about your decision, but you will be insistent to ask Artemis for help.

Still, Apollo will be quite certain that asking Artemis for help won’t end up the way you expect. He will say that she is extremely protective of women, children, and animals, which is why you don’t want to get on her bad side.

However, you will ignore his warning and seek Artemis out. Unfortunately, she will instantly reject you after hearing your plan. She will even reprimand Apollo for being selfish and accuse him of treating living creatures badly. In the end, you will have no other choice but to give up.

Not being able to cross the River Styx, you will decide to head back to Sparta and accept your fate. Aphrodite won’t remove your curse, and Cassandra will be unable to do anything to help. Eventually, Apollo will leave Sparta, never to be seen again.

A few years later, the prophesied war will take place. You will fearlessly don your armor, grab your sword, and head into battle to face the horde of invaders. This will lead to one of the bad endings of the story.

If you decide to play along as Apollo’s lover, you will agree not to seek Artemis’ help. Selecting this option will grant you some Goodwill with Apollo.

He will ask if you are really going to be his lover. You’ll chuckle and remind him that you’ll only be pretending. Apollo will grin at you, saying he wouldn’t mind being your lover for real. That way, you won’t need to pretend at all. You’ll blush for a moment and suggest going into the underworld.

Apollo will advise you to change into a different outfit. This time, you should select clothes and accessories with Charming and Elegant tags.

Upon arriving at the River Styx, you will spot a lone boat with a shriveled old man sitting in it. Apollo will point at him and say it’s Charon. The ferryman will notice the two of you and ask you to leave.

Apollo will ask Charon to take pity on the pair of dying lovers and take you across. His words won’t fool the ferryman, who will point out that both of you are alive. Your companion will say that you are under a horrible curse, which is why he wants to go into the underworld and be with you forever.

This will draw Charon’s attention, and he will join you on the riverbank to hear more. Apollo will tell him the whole story about the two of you, and he will speak every word with a lot of love and passion in his voice.

Charon will then turn to you and you will tell him that Apollo is the most important person in your life. You’ll say that you never want to part with him, which is the reason why you decided to head into the underworld together.

Apollo will look at you in surprise, and after a brief moment of silence, he will gently whisper two words in your ear.
