Welcome dear gamers to our Dress up! Time Princess Magic Lamp stage 1-2 walkthrough, where we go through the entire story and include all the gameplay elements, including our guide to outfits we used and how to obtain them. This story is based on the, of course, familiar Aladin storyline and it is adapted for the game.

This is the well-known rags-to-riches, zero to hero, princes, and the tramp love story adaptation. Of course, it is adapted a little bit to fit the storytelling model of the game, so here the female character is the main one, and other characters are a bit different, albeit quite recognizable to all who know the original story.

So far, we’ve only met three characters in the story, the main character in whose body Alison now resides, and her name is Gina. We’ve also met Kahir, a noble, whose real occupation and background we still don’t know fully, but he is high up in the kingdom’s hierarchy for sure.

And, lastly, we’ve met the slaver, from who Gina barely escaped with the help of Kahir in the past stage. Now, Kahir convinced Gina to help him battle human trafficking in the kingdom since he claims the law does not allow it despite it being such a common thing.

The previous stage ended with Gina and Kahir making a pact to go after her kidnappers and uncover the slave ring in the city. Magic Lamp stage 1-2 doesn’t have any special requirements asked for to play it, since it is quite early in the story.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

It does however suggest that you pick up a couple of items, just to make sure you nail that perfect score and you will need these later on in the book as well. The Floral Dawn dress and the Splendid Earrings are commonly used items throughout the story. These are both parts of the same item set with the Cooling and Perky traits and are obtained through encounters with the Prime Minister and Kahir respectively.

Now, let’s see what will Gina do in this next stage…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Gina and Kahir have found that the slaver’s usually operated in the North District of the capital, so they are headed there. The city is like a maze, filled with endless crisscrossed streets, but Kahir knows it obviously, as Alison still doesn’t have a complete hold on Gina’s memories. As they head north, they encounter a problem along the way…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Someone recognizes Gina as a slave and calls her out publically. Another man questions why she walks out in the open freely like this if she is a slave. After a brief moment, everyone stares at Gina and the crowd starts murmuring.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Gina defends herself and shouts back to the man and the crowd obviously, saying that she is not a slave! One of the t women that called her out makes a point that she is dressed like a slave, so what else would she be… The first man now addresses Kahir, calling him a boy and saying how it is not proper to walk with a female slave around the capital like this…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Kahir raises to defend Gina from the mob, negating everything they say and returning the courtesy by saying they are very rude. The two men shake their heads and leave, but keep looking back strangely as they are walking away. Gina, or rather Alison within her can’t stand this any longer.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Gina tells Kahir just how she feels about this whole slavery business. She tells him slaves are human too and this is unbearable… Seeing her distress, Kahir frowns and becomes silent. Gina asks him if he feels the same way or is he okay with slaves being treated like this…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Kahir confirms he condemns slavery as much as Gina does. He explains that he believes everyone should have the freedom and the right to pursue their happiness. This unequal system should be abolished, but changing it is a very long process, Kahir says…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

As they walk, Gina sees a clothing store and stops. She thinks she should change out of this “slave’s” clothes to avoid drawing attention to herself. She tells Kahir that she needs new clothes but doesn’t have any money, so she asks him if he could borrow some with the promise of paying him back.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Kahir shows that he is a gentleman and offers to purchase Gina any clothing she likes as a gift, not to borrow her money. However, she insists that she will pay him back and not argue about this. Unused to her persistence, Kahir simply shakes his head.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

At this point, we get this dress for our wardrobe. Signy wants to put it on right away, in the shop’s wardrobe, so it is dress-up time for this stage!

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Dress up! Time Princess Magic Lamp stage 1-2 asks for Cooling and Perky clothes since we are in the middle of a desert after all. SO, we will filter those traits out and see what we have to wear. Some of the items we have are better than the suggested ones, so we will make do with the best we’ve got and so should you.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

For the first head slot, we will wear the hefty Desert Praises crown, which is from the Magic Lamp storyline. This item drops randomly from the balloons and we’ve had the fortune, as it comes at a high 6-star rank! It only matches the Perky requirement, but it still gives us the best value with 855 in that trait.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

We will get the Happy Holiday hairstyle from the Gotham Memoirs storyline. This hairdo is a particularly common item in that story and it is obtained from encounters, used in many other recipes as well. It is at only 3 stars but matches both our clothing style requirements and gives us a nice 347 in both Cooling and Perky.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

For the third head item slot, we use Star Specks, which fit nicely in the clothing style requirements. This is an item from the Magic Lamp story, commonly used in various ways, and it is obtained from the balloons. It is at 4 stars and will contribute us with 370 in both Cooling and Perky.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

As for the main item of every outfit, the dress, we won’t use the one Kahir bought for us. Kahir lent Gina the money for the Floral Dawn dress, which is also a commonly used item in Magic Lamp. However, since we’ve already gone through the story, we have the Mystical Night. Floral Dawn is to be used when you go through the story for the first time and it is quite enough to get the perfect score though. However, Mystical Night is at a max 6-star rank and will give us an incredible 1767 in both Cooling and Perky. This item appears on the Lovecraft order randomly.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

We don’t have any shoes that fit with this outfit visually much, but at this point, any will do just as long as they contribute to the overall score. There are no specific requirements, neither. So, we will use the Snow Trail boots because they got the highest rank in our wardrobe with the filters we’ve set. We know, it is not an ideal item to wear in a dessert and it has the Warm trait, but it also has the Perky trait we need, and at 5 stars these will give us 585 in it. These boots drop randomly from the balloons.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

We are using these outlandish March Grass socks, which are available for purchase at the Fantasy Fair shop, for Fantasy Coins. When bought, these are at 5 stars and give 365 in Charming and Perky, though we will only be benefiting from the Perky style stat right now.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

For our first accessory item, we are using the Young Dream neck bow. We don’t really have any items that fit into the Cooling and Perky style, but none are specifically asked for this slot. So, we will go with this as it is our highest gain, benefiting from 478 in Perky. This item is available for purchase at the Fantasy Fair shop, for Fantasy Coins, and comes at 5 stars when bought.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

We go for the Splendid Earrings, as they are suggested, and fit perfectly in this stage’s style requirements. These earrings are a commonly used item in Magic Lamp, throughout the whole story, and they are obtained from Kahir encounters. They are at 3 stars and will give us 245 in both Cooling and Perky

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

For the ring slot, we will use the Spring Fling from the Queen Marie storyline. This item is at a 4-star rank and fits perfectly in this stage’s requirements, giving us 313 in both Cooling and Perky. This ring drops randomly from the balloons.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

The Shepherd’s Song is the best item we can currently use for the bracelet slot. It is from the Swan Lake story, with its blueprint obtained from the Parven’s Shop. It is at a nice 4-star rank and will give us 313 in Cooling for our current style requirements.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Yummy Picnic-Pink basket is really not getting along with our outfit, but considering that our style is all over the place, why the hell not!? This is the best item we can fit in the handheld slot that will give us the most gain for the total score. At 5 stars, this basket will contribute with 598 to Cooling. Anyone who logs in for 30 days into the game gets this item.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

There are no specific makeup requirements yet in the story and certainly not in this stage, so we will use the best one we got. This Once in a Lifetime makeup style will give us the highest yield. It is available for purchase at the Fantasy Fair shop, for Fantasy Coins, and comes at 4 stars when bought. It gives us 309 in Perky for our current style needs.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Go with whichever cat you have that can contribute even a little to either Cooling or Perky style stats or both ideally. We will get only 125 in Perky from this pet, but it’s still better than nothing.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

And, lastly, we will go for the Cryolite Bracer, one of the best relics in the game, next to other relics that are at 5 stars. At our current level and rank, this one will raise all our base clothing scores by 4%, and the score for our Cooling items by an additional 3%. This relic is from the Magic Lamp storyline, obtained when you increase Light Goodwill Lv. Now, let’s see how we did…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

We’ve managed to nail the perfect score, with 8105 in total points. The outfit isn’t an ideal one but it has helped us get over that 8k mark, which is what counts. Now, let’s see what Gina will do next…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

When Gina emerges changed into the dress Kahir bought for her, he compliments her immediately. He says it suits her and that it looks perky and refreshing, exactly what the style start requirements were. Gina twirls happily at that, feeling how her footsteps are much lighter now that she’s out of the grubby clothing.

The two continue on their way. Following her memory of the place, Gina leads Kahir across the street towards the North Gate. She notices that, strangely, there is only open space here, on the other side of the gate, where it is surrounded by busy shops and noisy crowds. This looks familiar to her…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

However, Gina starts suspecting that something is wrong. Right at that moment, someone runs into her… A little girl, about 7 or 8 years old, has run into and hit her by accident. The Date Palm Fruits she was carrying scatter all over the ground. Gina gets to helping the girl up, but as she does, the girl hugs her…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

She seems to recognize Gina… The little girl has a clean, small face with a cute smile, and she wears a tidy, white dress. However, Alison being in Gina’s body, she can’t seem to recollect the girl, who now shouts her name a second time – Gina! Luckily, she also yells “It’s me, Samar!”

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

It would appear that the slaver originally caught Gina because she was stealing pancakes and her friends thought she was gone for good… Upon hearing the stolen pancake part, Kahir repeats it with curiosity. Gina glances at him, embarrassed, but the little girl continues…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

The girl retrofits the situation the same way she caused it, by explaining the Robin Hood nature of Gina’s deeds. She was stealing to help feed the kids, who would have otherwise died of hunger. At this moment, sudden memories flood Gina’s mind. Memories of Samar and food, which cause her to reel for a moment.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Samar continues explaining that Gina was in trouble because she was trying to help them. This girl has an even younger sister who cried for a long time after Gina was taken away, for which Samar felt responsible.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

The little girl, Samar, grabs Gina by the hand and smiles brightly. Kahir looks at them both with approval. Gina then helps Samar gather the scattered dates on the ground she dropped when she hit her. Gina asks about the others if they are okay…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

She also sneaks in a question about their slum’s location without having to explain just exactly why she can’t remember where it is.

However, Samar reveals that their slum was demolished. The millionaire, Master Sinbad, is transformed this place into a shopping district, she says. Gina is startled by that… She states that nobody should be able to just demolish other people’s homes because they are rich…. She asks where did everyone go?

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Gina can’t help but think about how the people suffer while the wealthy don’t care and clenches her fist in anger, feeling small and powerless at the same time. She says that the businessman is vicious and must be punished. However, the girl has more to add…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

It would appear that she did not understand that well. Master Sinbad was not the one to demolish the slums, but instead, he took in all who lost their homes. He is kind and generous, Samar says. Kahir has something to say at this point. “Sinbad took them all in?” he asks surprised…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Indeed, Kahir and Sinbad are friends. Sinbad is Kahir’s senior and he says that if he has made arrangements, there is nothing to worry about. Samar asks Gina where she is staying. Gina shakes her head at the question and Samar invites them both to Master Sinbad’s house with her. She says they don’t need to worry about food or shelter.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Samar says Sinbad probably won’t have anything against them coming along and she holds Gina’s hand, looking at her with her big, bright eyes. She seems satisfied with her living conditions to Gina and she wonders if she should accept the invitation and go see this Sinbad’s house… And, now, it is time for choices, one is to accept and go find shelter there, and the other is to refuse and rely on herself. We will go through both choices below.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Yes, stay with everyone
No, rely on myself

The “Yes, stay with everyone” choice

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Gina admits that she does have to find somewhere to stay but, she doesn’t want to be a slave. Kahir explains she has nothing to worry about, as Sinbad’s never had slaves and that he pays his servants, according to what he’s heard.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

The girl confirms that this Sinbad indeed pays for his servants. She says that, upon arriving there, if one wishes, they are assigned a most suitable job. Samara takes care of Master Sinbad’s garden, for example. The dates she was carrying were for her little sister, which she bought from her own wages. She even offers some to Gina and Kahir…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Kahir offers to accompany Gina to Sinbad’s if she is still worried. He would also like to ask him about the demolition of the slum too. Gina agrees. She would want to know more as well and so the three of them get on their way to Sinbad’s house.

This marks the end of the first choice, where Gina agrees to go and see this Master Sinbad. We will now go through the second choice, which was for her to refuse.

Back to Previous Choice
Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

The “No, rely on myself” choice

In this other choice, Gina politely refuses the invitation to go the Sinbad’s palace. She says that she doesn’t want to be a slave and that if selling her liberty is a condition for her to stay here, she would rather be homeless. IT is a big city, she says and is confident she can find shelter somewhere…

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Kahir explains she has nothing to worry about, as Sinbad’s never had slaves and that he pays his servants, according to what he’s heard.

Gina assumes that it can’t be easy for one man, even as wealthy as Master Sinbad is, to help so many people. She says that she will support herself and not trouble him. Kahir says that he understands where she’s coming from, but the storm has only just passed. He warns that there might be slavers looking for her on the streets still.

Dress Up! Magic Lamp Walkthrough Stage 1-2

Kahir explains that, whichever way Gina wants, her best chances are precisely with Sinbad, since he can offer opportunities for making a living in the capital. Gina guesses he is right. Kahir offers to accompany Gina to Sinbad’s if she is still worried. He would also like to ask him about the demolition of the slum too.

Gina wants to ask about that as well and so she agrees to go there in the end. Kahir says that Sinbad is also an experienced navigator and tells many strange stories, so she won’t be bored working for him. Gina notes that it sounds interesting and, persuaded by both Kahir and Samar, she decides to visit Sinbad’s house. So, the three of them go there and this marks the end of this choice and the entire Dress Up Magic Lamp stage 1-2.
