Welcome dear readers to our Dress up! Magic Lamp stage 1-6 walkthrough, where we go through the story and include all the gameplay elements, together with the outfit we used and how to obtain all the individual clothing items. This story is based on the, of course, familiar Aladin storyline and it is adapted for the game.

The storyline is an adaptation of a well-known Aladin story, but with a twist. The adaptation is, of course, primarily in the fact that the lead character is a female, Gina, and not Aladin, but there are also other adaptations as well. But, generally, the story is pretty similar to the source material and has the same appeal as the original.

So far, in the previous 5 stages, we’ve met characters like Kahir, Samar, Sinbad, some slavers, some navigators, and of course the Magician, who is, it is safe to presume, the main villain for the story. In the previous stage, he led Gina to the cave with the treasures Forty Thieves hidden long ago and forced her to find him the lamp.

Gina managed to find the lamp and survive the trap in the cave, but when the Magician was to pull her out, he wanted the lamp before he would pull her to safety. Gina sensed that he wanted to drop her the same moment the lamp falls into his hands and wouldn’t give it. They struggled, and she fell back down into the cave, albeit with the lamp. Now, let’s see what will happen in the dark of the cave.

This Magic Lamp stage 1-6 is again a pivotal story plot point, like the previous one. And, like so, it does not have any special clothing requirements nor does it yield any blueprint crucial for further progress down the storyline. We will strive to get the perfect score non the less to collect all the prizes. Now, let’s see what will happen next…

Gina survived her fall back down into the depth of the cave. She doesn’t know how she survived the fall from such height but she is still in a lot of pain. After a while, she looks down and sees the oil lamp that nearly cost Gina her life.

She wonders – there are so many treasures in this cave… Why would that evil Magician only want this particular lamp, that doesn’t even look that valuable at all? Could it be a magic item of some kind, she wonders. Maybe she can use it to get out of the cave, she thinks…

Gina is glad that the lamp is in one piece after the fall and picks it up. It is dusty and, as the familiar story goes, she wants to clean it. At this point, we get to swipe left and right to simulate cleaning motions and smoke raises from the lamp…

A genie appears and, with a happy voice, says how happy he is to finally be out of that tiny lamp. He is happy to stretch, while Gina is baffled and asks him who he is and how could he come out of that oil lamp…

The Genie tells her to watch her attitude as he is the great Genie of the Lamp…and her savior. He knows she fell from pretty high up. Genie tells her she would be dead if he didn’t magically intervene. Gina says that the oil lamp is really powerful then and thanks him for saving her.

The Genie was also listening on her conversation with the Magician and says it was smart not to give him the lamp. He also says that he sensed the Magician has an aura of Dark Magic and would have surely used the Magic Lamp to do something despicable.

Gina then asks the Genie of the Lamp if he can help her get out of this cave… The Genie asks for one condition and points at the lamp in Gina’s hands. Gina looks and finds an indentation on it. The Genie says that a gemstone was set there and it is gone missing during the turmoil in the past years, causing him to lose his memory.

The Genie makes a bargain with Gina. He will free her easily if she promises to find the missing gemstone. Gina looks up at the cave opening and weighs her options. IT is impossible to climb up there on her own, but his conditions seem even harder than climbing.

Gina asks the Genie why can’t he look for the gemstone himself given his powers. He tells her that without the gemstone, his powers are limited and he can’t maintain his human form very long, so he has to stay inside the Magic Lamp.

He really needs Gina and it sounds to her he is not that powerful after all. Genie asks her if she wants to stay here or leave this place and prompts her to decide quickly. Gina now has to make a choice and we arrive at our first branching choice in this stage. Gina can try and negotiate a better deal or pretend to accept. We will go through both choices in our walkthrough so please find them through the navigation buttons below.

We first choose the #1 option and try to negotiate a better deal with the Genie. This choice will increase Goodwill with this character. When chosen, Gina asks the Genie if he is trying to take advantage of her. He replies that this cave only has one exit and that she can’t get out without his help.

Also, the Genie reminds Gina that it was he who saved her life once already by softening her fall and she should repay him. However, Gina says that his conditions are unreasonable and that further negotiations are needed. The Genie asks what is it she wants to negotiate about…

Gina is primarily interested in the plausibility of the task the Genie wants her to vow to fulfill, or more accurately, how will she know which gemstone to look for. The Genie says he is glad she is already considering this and tells her that it is not something she should be worried about yet. She should just follow his instructions when they get out.

Another thing, Gina continues, is the fact that the Genie said all he has to do was to snap his fingers to get her out of the cave. But, he is actually helping himself by helping her, while helping him find his Gemstone will cost Gina time and energy and it will probably be dangerous.

Gina makes her case and quite well. The Genie says she seems like an ordinary girl but she is not bad at negotiations, he admits. Finally, he agrees that if she can find the gemstone, he will the Magic Lamp power to grant her a wish. Whether she wants good looks, extraordinary wisdom, or infinite riches, he will be able to grant any of them.

Gina says she is happy with the way she looks and that acquiring wisdom should take effort or it is not real wisdom, while money should be earned properly. So, she doesn’t need any of the things the Genie offered. The Genie asks if she is being difficult on purpose…

Finally, the Genie says he gives up and will let Gina go now so no one could accuse him of bullying her. Gina asks if he is being serious and the Genie says yes, someone else will eventually come here seeking for treasure again and find him, so he can just wait for that person to help him.

Watching the Genie rumble was funny to Gina and somewhat touching, but he doesn’t seem like a bad person to her if only a bit sneaky perhaps. Finally, she tells him he shouldn’t try to force her, but she might agree if he asks nicely.

The Genie seems to be offended somewhat by all this and he is now being difficult. Gina finally gives up and asks him to get her out of this cave with a please, and calls him the great Genie of the Lamp. The Genie still plays hard to get and says that he does “occasionally need help from others.

Gina asks him to speak up as she didn’t hear him well enough. The Genie says that his powers are damaged and his memory is gone so he needs help from her to get the gemstone back. Gina says that she will help, with a smile.

The Gina is curious if he will still honor the wish promise and the Genie says he is a man of his word. With the gemstone in place, he continues, the Magic Lamp becomes an omniscient and omnipotent power, so there is nothing it cannot do.

The Gina asks if he can really grant her any wish and the Genie answers “theoretically”. He tells her there are three taboos regarding that. The first one is thou shalt not kill. The second one is thou shalt not bring dead people or animals back to life. And, the third one is, thou shalt not manipulate memories.

The Genie gives the final warning that breaking any one of these three taboos means breaking her body and soul. Gina says that sounds scary. The Genie asks her for her name and she introduces herself. If she helps him, the Genie says, he will grant her a wish and now asks her to officially and finally agree to this contract.

Gina says “yes” and agrees. The Genie confirms that the contract is now in force. And, in a blink of an eye, Gina fins herself outside of the cave, with a vast desert before her and the Genie of the Lamp by her side.

Gina is amazed and the Genie brags about being the Genie of the Lamp, after all, so she is bound to witness far more impressive things once she finds the gemstone. Gina says that she honestly thought it would be grander, the cave exit, judging by all his bluster. But, it was only a blip.

Genie reminds her he did say his powers are currently diminished and that is one of the reasons he needs her help to find the gemstone. He then confirms he will give her anything she wants afterward, so she can be the riches person in the Kingdom, or even a princess if she wants.

Gina is not too crazy about the idea of becoming a princess. So, the Genie is curious about what her wish would be. She thinks of what happened when she first arrived in this world. Gina remembers the dirty slums, the slaves chained on the streets, and the old man who was waiting for his daughter to come back in Sinbad’s house.

Gina tells the Genie she wishes everyone could have their own home. The Genie tells her that wish is too vague and asks if she wishes he builds shelters for everyone. She says that it would probably be okay to give shelters to the homeless, but she definitely doesn’t want what’s currently happening.

The Genie advises care and that Gina should think it through thoroughly before making her wish. She says it is a good idea and that she will think about it more and let him know later. The Genie says it is a deal, but her wish is for someone else… Is she sure that she wouldn’t rather wish for something for herself?

She says there is nothing she wants, not really… What about him, she asks the Genie. Doesn’t he have any wishes? He tells her he doesn’t even remember his life so what possible wish he could have now… His only real wish is to find that gemstone and he is counting on her to grant him that one…

Gina realizes that the Genie probably can’t remember his own name either and that she is sure she won’t find the gemstone in a day or two, so he needs to have a name she can call him by. She proposes she gives him a name and thee Genie agrees.

Gina then wonders what could she call him and we arrive at a second choice for branching paths in this stage. We will walk you through both below, so please find the navigation buttons.

Blue
Light

This choice will increase Goodwill with Light as Gina asks him if he likes that name. Light says it sounds strange and wonders which kingdom is that name from. Gina says not to worry about it and that it means brightness in a country far away.

She says he is the Genie from the lamp, so the name suits him. Light says the name is not bad so Gina is happy that it is decided, it is going to be Light! Genie asks why and she tells him she is just practicing pronouncing it- – Light, Light…

Genie is annoyed by her and Gina tells Light his attitude needs to improve if they are going to be long-term partners. The two of them argue all the way back to the city, but Light eventually accepts the name and makes Gina (Alison) feel like she’s made another friend.

However, Gina also feels unease. If that Magician learns she is still alive and out of the cave, he will definitely hunt her down. And, that marks the end of Magic Lamp stage 1-6 with the choices we’ve made. We will now go through the other two we’ve encountered, so please find them below.

Pretend to accept

This additional choice will cost an additional 5 stamina. When chosen, Gina thinks how this Genie is chained to the lamp, so maybe she can just throw the lamp away once she gets out of the cave and he won’t be able to do anything to her.

Finally, she tells him she accepts and tells the Genie to snap his fingers already. However, the Genie comes closer to Gina and tells her he can see what she is thinking. If she wants out of this cave she has to make a promise. If she breaks it, she will be cursed by the Magic Lamp.

Gina is mad about the conditions of the bargain, but even more so that Genie saw through her attempt at deception. She tells him that there are many gemstones in this world so how can she know which one he is looking for.

She tells the Genie is quite demanding. However, he tells her it is not something she has to worry about yet. She just has to follow the Genie’s instructions after they get out, he says. Gina is thinking out loud now, wondering how she got so unlucky…

A top of the evil Magician and everything else, she is now stuck here and a Genie is threatening her. She asks why these bad things are happening to her and starts crying. This upsets the Genie and he asks her to stop…

Gina continues sobbing but, in truth, she covers her face and only pretends to cry. She observes the Genie’s reaction through the gaps between her fingers. Finally, the Genie gives in and tells her that if she can find the gemstone, he will use the Magic Lamp’s power to grant her a wish.

Blue

Choosing this will cost an extra 5 stamina. When chosen, Gina tells the Genie she will call him Blue. He gets in her face somewhat and tells her she only wants to call him Blue because he is wearing blue and how convenient it is.

“Why not just call a white sheep White?” the Genie asks and then tells her to think of a better name. Gina is displeased and tells him he did say it was her decision! But, the Genie continues to ruthlessly reject her suggestions…

Finally, she comes around and calls him Light. The Genie says it is not bad and that he likes it. Gina thinks how he is so demanding, but doesn’t say it to him.
