Welcome guys to our guide for Dress up! Time Princess. Swan Lake stage 1 – 16 walkthrough takes us to the crescendo of the story, as the events are now nearing the end. There are only two stages left to the end (17 in total) so these events are the culmination of all that has happened so far.

We will also include our clothing item choices for the stage, including short tips on how to obtain recipes or items. However, this stage 1-16 has no special requirements and it is a pivotal point in the story, meaning it also does not carry any recipe reward we will need for the final stage 1-17. The stage however will give more rewards for the perfect score, so we will strive to achieve it.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

In the previous stage, Signy’s unwanted wedding to Audwin finally came. The ceremony had begun and right in the middle of it, the kingdom of Glorion launched their surprise attack, the only Signy overheard about. Despite their best efforts, the castle guards were overpowered and their only hope was with the Owl Sorcerer.

Although intentionally late to his own wedding, Audwin was there and he quite enjoyed seeing how Signy grew more desperate with each guard down. She was forced to make a new deal with him in order to save her kingdom. The deal was that he was to drive the invading army away, but she can never see Aldous again.

Signy agreed, she had to, and Audwin did make good on his end of the deal. He summoned murderous crows, who also use magic, and they drove the attacking soldiers quite effectively. They also managed to capture Ferdinand, the prince of Glorion. After sacking the city, he was planning to take Signy as his wife.

Signy punched Ferdinand and it is at that point that the stage ended, with the banquet hall messy and bloody, but our heroes safe and sound. At least for the time being. Now it’s time to see what will happen next. According to the stage announcement, Aldous will try to interfere with Audwin’s plans and we are in for a revelation about the two men. They seem to be related…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Ferdinand passed out after Signy had hit him and now he can’t even remember that event clearly. He massages his head and glares at the people there in anger and confusion. He finally sees his own fallen soldiers…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

He calls them brutes as if he can’t even remember that it was he who attacked them, at a wedding no less. Signy is confused, but King Edward XII tells her that she might have “knocked a few screws loose from his head” He then tells Ferdinand that it was he and his soldiers that attacked them.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

As Signy tries to remember the intensity of the blow, Ferdinand insists on maintaining his innocence. “You are accusing me now?” he replies, as he threatens with what will happen when his father hears about this. He will destroy all of them, he says… Signy replies to him…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

She points at the fallen soldiers around them and tells Ferdinand it is his fault. There are many of them who are his own subjects. Signy accuses him of leading them to attack the castle during the wedding, and now he pretends not to know anything. But, Ferdinand persists…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Ferdinand insists on not remembering the attack and he is also claiming he is back home, in his own kingdom… Signy accuses him of standing in her ballroom, calling him a fool. Ferdinand is speachless. He doesn’t know why he is here and what’s going on.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Ferdinand is so persistent that Signy and the others begin to believe him. Everything is so weird now. The chief minister tells Ferdinand not to make such jokes and reminds him that his soldiers and he did really invade. Everyone here can attest to that.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Ferdinand remains steadfast. Finally, King Edward says that since he is unable to explain himself at the moment, he welcomes him as his guest. The truth will be revealed in time, the king is confident. However, Ferdinand is not overly fond of the idea…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Ferdinand claims he is kept as a hostage, but the king insists that it is better for him to remain here, regardless. Signy agrees and admits they still can’t tell if he is lying or has truly lost his memory. Ferdinand says that he won’t stoop so low as to spout lines like these, but before he finishes he is interrupted by Audwin…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin prompts them to stop their argument and reminds Signy that it is their wedding today. However, Signy points out that it is inappropriate to continue with the ceremony when the ballroom is in such a mess, not to mention the dead soldiers…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

But, Audwin insists they go through with it, offering to take her to the forest right now. The king reminds Audwin that it was he who was late and that today’s wedding is canceled. He can’t take Signy away. But, Audwin says that the king’s words don’t matter…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

He tells Signy to remind everyone that it was he who saved the castle and the kingdom from the invasion. The king says that he is fully aware his crows saved all, but he was also ready to attack them at any time. Audwin dismisses him…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

He warns Signy to not even think of escaping and reminds her of the consequences awaiting if she does. Audwin starts approaching her as Signy’s blood turns cold and she wonders if she will really have to spend the rest of her life in that gloomy tower in the forest. But, Aldous comes between them…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Signy thinks how this is the first time Aldous has called Audwin by name. He tells him to stop this right now. Aldous says that he will not marry Signy, so Audwin must stop tormenting her. Signy is speechless… Audwin says that his decision to marry Signy has nothing to do with Aldous, saying he thinks too highly of himself.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin insists that Signy is his and Aldous asks him if he really wants to take everything from him? He tells Audwin that Signy is innocent. He can torture him all he wants, but why does he have to hurt her? Finally, Aldous orders him to leave her out of this! He is not being fair!

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin now reveals again his personal motive for his behavior. But, Aldous says that he understands his anger and hatred. And, furthermore, he says he doesn’t mind bearing this curse Audwin has put on him… But, Aldous says there is no excuse to hurting others along the way…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

At last, Audwin reveals the reason for doing all this and for being the way he is. He was abandoned. He then asks Aldous if it was because the twins are deemed as a bad omen and he was born just a moment later? Was this the reason to confine him to a dark and forsaken tower for his entire life? Where is fairness in that, Audwin asks…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Signy is baffled as to the revelation sinks into everybody’s minds… They are twins! Aldous and Audwin are twin brothers. While everyone is recovering from the news, Aldous says that father and mother believed in the sorcerer’s hogwash, but later always felt guilty about it.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Aldous explains how their parents were away for periods of time and he only later realized they were off visiting Audwin in secret. But, Audwin bursts into rage… “Visit me?” He says he has never seen them and he couldn’t care less.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin mocks Aldous’s tears and the way he grew up. If not for their kingdom’s demise and his accidental release, Audwin tells him he would have never even known about his existence. He tells Aldous that they are essentially the same, but he was the protected one, a loser…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Aldous again attempts to convince Audwin to leave others out of it, he doesn’t ask for forgiveness. Also, he reminds him that he has already witnessed the destruction of their home and has placed this curse on Aldous.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin renounces his home even now. He does it at every mention of the place. He asks Aldous if he wants to know why he cursed him to turn to a swan at dawn/ It is because he wants him to feel an endless cycle of hope and despair.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin maniacally laughs at the thought of Aldous’s pain every dawn. Signy now finally knows the truth and she is thinking how Aldous can’t be held responsible for the suffering Audwin went through. And, here we arrive at our first choice for this stage. We can choose for Signy to either reprimand Audwin or sympathize with him, and we will go through both choices in this walkthrough below.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Reprimand him
Sympathize with him

The choice to Reprimand him

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

In this first choice, Signy goes for balanced diplomacy. She sympathizes with Audwin a bit, saying that he did go through great suffering, but she reprimands him, telling him it is not Aldous’s fault. He didn’t know anything about his brother before he cursed him.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

She tells him that he has already had his revenge by not saving his home, back when it was falling. All those who abandoned him have already received their due punishment. Why is he still doing this to his brother, Signy asks…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin dismisses Signy’s words harshly. He says that this so-called “brother” of his stole everything from him and doesn’t even bother to say his name. Signy says that Aldous didn’t steal anything from him and shouldn’t be responsible for what Audwin’s been through.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

This is making Audwin even angrier. He says that Aldous was never responsible for anything and that he should have perished in that war back then, that destroyed their kingdom. Audwin says that he was the one that saved him and brought him to this forest, so shouldn’t he be grateful to him?

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin now revealed his side of the story, pointing out how it is absurd that they all admonish him when he saved Aldous and the rest. Aldous tells him that they should settle this between them and not bring others in. If he insists, he should only blame him.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Audwin is now being particularly hard and says he is the one making the rules. Suddenly, Signy shouts Aldous’s name as he pulls a dagger steeped in poison. But, he is pointing it at himself. Audwin laughs, asking if he intends to end his own life in desperation or perhaps wants to exchange his life for SIgny’s freedom? Audwin answers his own question right away, saying that Aldous’s life is worthless to him.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Aldous tells him that nothing is absolute. Since their tragedy started out because they were twins, he suggests they should use it to put an end to everything. Signy asks Aldous just what is he planning to do? And, Aldous answers…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Aldous reveals just how much the two twins are connected. Their lives are intertwined. By saving him, Audwin saved himself and, now, he will die if Aldous ends his own life. Signy then asks Aldous if that is what he really intends to do? Sacrifice himself for her sake?

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

She forbids him to do so…. Audwin also calls everything he just said nonsense. He does not believe it. If such a curse really exists, how can he not know about it? Aldous continues to thank Audwin for allowing him to return to a human at night. He went through all the written records in the palace about twins and has learned of an ancient curse.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

It would seem he is not sure, but he is prepared to find out. Then, Aldous continues to say goodbye to Signy, wishing her happiness. Audwin says that if death is the worst that can happen, he is not afraid of it. But, Signy yells for them both to stop!

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

She can’t let Aldous do this, no! At this point, this stage ends. We will now go through the other choice in the branching point in the stage, where Signy chose to sympathize with Audwin…

Back to Previous Choice

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

The choice to Sympathize with him

This additional choice will cost us 5 extra stamina, plus the stamina to play the stage again. Now, Signy takes a much closer approach to Audwin’s story.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Signy tries to understand deeply how Audwin felt after what was done to him. But, Audwin dismisses it, asking if she pities him? He says that he doesn’t need any of it and how pathetic it is. He doesn’t need anyone’s sympathy.

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

However, Signy insists on trying to find the answer to Audwin’s pain, thinking that he needs some love. She says that Aldous is his older brother and that things shouldn’t have turned out this way. Audwin is quick to point out that he doesn’t need this “brother” who stole everything from him. He also points out that Aldous can’t even bother to say his name…

Dress Up Walkthrough Swan Lake Stage 1-16

Signy continues explaining how their relationship was affected by so many events, all out of their control, and how fighting like this is even worse. Twins should be the closest to one another, she says. Audwin tells Signy to stop making it sound so tragic. What has happened cannot be undone. Aldous tells him that they should settle this between them and not bring others in. If he insists, he should only blame him.
