Welcome to our Dress up! Time Princes Swan Lake stage 1-4 walkthrough. So far, in the story, we’ve found Princess Signy who is to be made a bride ahead of her time. Her coming-of-age ceremony is sped up because she needs to take on her responsibilities of running the kingdom soon. This is because her father’s, Kind Edward XII’s health is declining and he is alone on the throne, the Queen passed away long ago.

We’ve also met some pretty interesting characters so far, like Ms. Roslin, the tutor. She is strict and perhaps a bit stern towards Signy, or she tries to be, but we soon found out that she regards her as her own daughter and that the two share a deep and close bond.

Also, we’ve met Chief Minister Arthur and found out that he is Signy’s uncle. The idea of Signy’s coming-of-age ceremony being sped up is his brainchild. We’ve also found out that the King doesn’t take this lightly and that he even cried when they broke the news to princess Signy.

Lastly, we’ve seen how Signy made her friends deep in the forest, the Swans, and one in particular, their leader sort to say. The swans are very peculiar and seem to share a deep bond with Signy. The leader swan even behaves as he really understands what Signy is talking about and what is happening in her life.

In the past stage 1-3 of Swan Lake, we’ve seen how Signy met the swans when she was lost in the forest for the first time and the head swan saved her. That was long ago, in a flashback scene. That same swan also urged her to get back home quickly in the present time, after she went there to lament about becoming the queen soon.

The swan literally pushed her out of the forest, which pretty soon became ominous, as soon as darkness fell. Signy even heard screams on her way home, which frightened her. Whatever the cause for the sinister sounds, Signy now needs to welcome the delegations and princes that are arriving ahead of her coming-of-age ceremony. One of them is even to become her husband soon.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Stage 1-4 of Swan Lake’s story requires the Unbending Will hair, which has the Noble and Formal traits, and it requires Goodwill Lv. 2 with Audwin. While Goodwill Lv. 2 with Audwin is easy enough to reach, just go and tap on him a couple of times in the Lectern, making the Unbending Will hair might be tricky.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

The blueprint for Unbending Will is awarded if you’ve passed the previous stage with the perfect score. If not, please refer to our Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake stage 1-3 walkthrough for help in improving your score. If you got it, then there are a few steps you need to make first.

The mats for Crafting the Unbending Will hair needed are Dawn Light hair, Shades of Melody hair, 11 wool, and 14 plumage. While the last two mats are easily enough procured from various parts of the game, rewards, presents, etc, the two hairs you can only get from Encounters.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Encounters with Roslin yield the Shades of Melody hair parts, just remember to choose the middle “Stay Silent” option that costs 10 stamina.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Encounters with Aldous yield the Dawn Light hair parts. Here you must choose the most expensive option, the “Agree happily” option that costs 15 stamina.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

You’ll need to repeat and refresh the Encounters a few times to get the right ingredients for making the Unbending Will hair, but when you do and you get your Goodwill Lv. 2 with Audwin, you are ready to go. The stage hint indicates that this stage 1-4 will require clothing items with Noble and Formal traits. So, hit start, and let’s see what awaits Signy in this part of the story.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

This stage starts with the arrivals of the princes and the noblemen we were expecting. Princess Signy is there to meet them. The princes all take turns introducing themselves in the best possible way they can and they bring gifts for Signy. The first one to arrive is prince Ambrose from the North Kingdom and he brings a gem necklace.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

However, Signy politely refuses such a grand gift. Ambrose insists, saying that Signy is already the most precious thing for him, so it is natural she has the necklace. Before Signy can say anything else, another prince interferes.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

He snatches the necklace and continues to give a series of insulting descriptions of it, calling it old-fashioned in color. It is Herman, from Florana, which is a Kingdom in the South. He introduces himself to Signy while Ambrose immediately interjects.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Herman and Ambrose now start jabbing each other, Heman continuing to badmouth the necklace, while Ambrose retaliates similarly. Signy interjects and begs the two to stop and apologizes for refusing it all the same.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Nevertheless, Ambrose and Herman continue at it. Neither one wants to back down. Hermann insists to demean, while Ambrose returns with fiery insults. Finally, Ambrose says that Herman is too annoying and asks Herman if he really has to keep provoking him. Now, the tone of the childish argument slowly starts escalating into something more serious…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Herman takes the liberty to interpret Ambrose’s insults as an invitation for a duel and, after he asks it openly, Ambrose naturally agrees. They want to take it outside and do the entire thing macho style, like in the movies. The one who loses the duel must stop badgering Princess Signy. It is the stake they both agree on. Signy is speechless and, while the two are getting ready to fight, a third-person approaches…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

It is prince Honore who asks the princess to ignore the two previous attempts, calling both princes Herman and Ambrose childish and self-centered. It appears he is looking to benefit from the two being distracted right now. However, he has made the mistake of addressing Signy by name only, which is immediately picked up by a fourth player in what has now become a heavy competition…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Honore defends against this attack immediately by emphasizing that he and Signy are childhood friends, so he is permitted to do so. He then turns to Signy and asks in freight if she remembers him. It seems that tension, testosterone, and even fear are starting to escalate to uncontrollable levels here. Signy slightly lightens the situation, saying that of course, she remembers Honore and eldest son of the state minister.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

It appears that Honore is a long-lost friend of Signy after all. He was traveling and on adventures and has just returned. He is somewhat pompous, saying that he had to go on an adventure as a hero should. He was in deserts, snowy mountains, and just as he is to list his strongest achievements he is interrupted by the so-far unidentified figure…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

While the unknown figure pokes Honore, he brushes it off easily, saying that he wouldn’t understand even if he explained the reasons for adventuring to him. He then finds a way to turn it around to his own benefit, saying that no matter how much he loves adventuring, he is willing to stop it all for Signy…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Honore reveals that he has indeed come here because of Signy. Signy can’t think of anything to say but a polite thank you. She thanks Honore for coming to participate in her coming-of-age ceremony from such a faraway land. Honore says it is his honor, and the mystery figure repeats it.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

He is revealed, at last, it is Raymond. He and Signy have met before, on a ball. He asks if Signy remembers him, and she is not sure, saying that she thinks so. Finally, she remembers something about Raymond, he is a skilled swordsman. This puts him at ease and convinces him she truly does remember him!

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

He is, in fact, so delighted that he asks for a dance with Signy. She says yes, with utter confidence. However, before he can take the Princess’s hand, Honore interjects, saying that he was here first and that Raymond should get in line. Raymond makes a solid argument about being the first to ask for a dance, regardless of not being the first one to arrive. But, Signy managed to douse this potential duel before it begins.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

However, Honore continues his relentless attempts to impress Signy. He asks if she remembers him composing a song for her a while ago. He could, if she so desires, plays it now. He offers to take the minstrel’s place and bring their childhood alive once again, as he says. Signy remembers and pays him a compliment, saying she knew even back then that Honore is very talented.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Raymond is attempting to salvage whatever is left of his attempt by insisting that, while Honore will play the song, he will have the first dance. Here is where Honore takes the higher ground and says that he is okay with it, as long as it makes Signy happy. And, thus, the ball officially begins.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

The King approaches his daughter Signy and is curious about how did the welcoming go. Did she find any prince fancy in particular? Signy is naturally embarrassed by King Edward XII’s nonchalant question, but he interrupts her before she could say anything and says that there is still time to observe and make her pick.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Lastly, the King also offers some advice for the young princess, telling her not to fall for their appearances. Signy reassures her dad that she is careful and her eyes are like the eagle. The King doesn’t take this comparison well for some reason, saying that she shouldn’t compare to an eagle, but Signy explains:

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Signy tells the King that she knows she has to be as strong as him, showing that she is grown up and is thinking like a soon-to-be queen. The King is pleased, of course, but Signy does admit it is not an easy task. None of it. Primarily, it is tough to deal with all these unfamiliar faces and people competing over her and reassure everyone, while all just want a piece of her, or her as a whole to be exact.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

However, it seems that Signy’s uncle Arthur has been paying attention and is content about how she handled the welcoming part. Signy is pleased to hear that of course. Lastly, the king allows Signy to take a break if she needs it, finally being protective as a father should be. With that said, someone calls for the attention of the entire ballroom…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

That someone is Ferdinand, a prince from the Kingdom of Glorion. Ferdinand calls for everyones’ attention to fire up the party a bit, to impress the Princess as he says. Ambrose jumps to agree, suggesting that maybe the suitors could go hunting in the nearby forest. Hermann, Honore, and Raymond all agree.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

In fact, it seems that the princess has all immediately made a competition out of it and the one who wins gains Signy’s favor, or so they say. Ferdinand pompously agrees and is eager to go hunting. Ambrose makes a note that the Sun has set and that they should go tomorrow, but Hermann insists that they ask for permission from the King.

The King says that there is no need for formalities and deflects this question to Princess Signy. This is where our first choice comes into play. We will do both choices in our walkthrough for Swan Lake stage 4-1 of Dress up! Time Princess, first agreeing and then disagreeing. You can find both of them below, just tap on the navigation entries.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

The Choice where you Agree
The Choice to Disagree

Signy is naturally worried about the animals of the forest as some are also her friends. But, she is aware that she cannot disagree if her father already practically permitted the notion. Finally, she proposes that she will show the princess the way to the forest tomorrow.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

This is with the hopes that she can somehow prevent something bad from happening if she is there herself. In this choice, Signy has to go with them and you need to prepare for the occasion. It is now dress-up time!

Hunting requires Noble and Formal clothing traits, as well as the Unbending Will hairdo like the tips, suggest, so we filter our clothes for those two traits.

Now that everything is ready, let us see how we did…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

With our current outfit capability, scored Great with 4620 points.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

In is now the day after and the hunt is about to begin. When Signy arrives in the outfit we just made, she is already complemented by Ambrose. Honore interjects quickly after Ambrose’s compliment, remembering how Signy wanted to be Goddess Athena when she was a kid.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Signy waves it off, saying it was her childish dream, nothing more. Ferdinand sees a rabbit at this point and yells. Even Signy refers to him as “that prince who loves to yell” at this point. Ferdinand wants to be the first to catch something, so he lunges after the poor rabbit, drawing his bow. Signy interjects…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Signy saves the rabbit by stopping Ferdinand. He waits for an explanation, while Signy simply states that the rabbit was too adorable to be injured. Ambrose makes a note that they should seek other more fierce animals, not the cute ones ladies always care for.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Ferdinand suggests that the party should split up, but Signy is against it for she cannot keep an eye on them and stop them from harming animals if they do so. But, she cannot say so openly. As Ferdinand is again waiting for an explanation, Signy says that the princes are not all familiar with the forest and that they should stay as a group.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Raymond agrees with her, while Ferdinand is not convinced but is quickly distracted by a squirrel. Noting a fair excuse that it must be dangerous because it has large teeth and is therefore not cure, he draws his bow again, but Signy again stops him. This time, she offers for the group to hunt a larger squirrel, bluffing that she has seen one like that over there. Ferdinand wants to shoot them both.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Ambrose is on point again, noting that Signy wouldn’t want to see such cruelty, after Ferdinand offers to kill both the smaller and the larger squirrel. Finally, Honore suggests that they keep moving in the direction of some more ferocious creatures.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

As the group ventures deeper into the forest, they seem to capture some wild beasts and are very happy about it. Signy strives to protect her friends along the way, but they make it to the swan lake. The swans are there and the group is delighted at how many. Hermann points at the one in the middle with snowy white feathers, who we know as their leader, and Signy’s savior.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

While the group is baffled for seeing so many swans here, Ferdinand already plans to use them for various purposes. In fact, he intends to hunt the leader down and use its feathers to make a dress for Signy. Signy stops him with a definitive “No!”, but an arrow already flies as she said it…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

The arrow wounds Snowy, while other swans attack the group of hunters. Ferdinand is wondering as to why they are attacking, while Ambrose notices that it is his fault for he has shot their leader. Honore is baffled at how strong the swans are, and so is Raymond. It seems that the swans are stronger than beasts, so Hermann calls for a retreat and the band scattered.

This is the end of stage 1-4 of Swan Lake in Dress up! Time Princess with this choice.

Back to Previous Choice

When the princes all came to an idea to go hunting and compete for Signy’s favor that way, they asked the King for his permission. The King has deflected the question towards Signy, saying that there is no need for formalities. It is also where we made our first choice to agree. We did both choices in our walkthrough for Swan Lake stage 4-1 of Dress up! Time Princess, first agreeing and now we are disagreeing.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

When we disagree, Signy answers to the entire notion as it being too dangerous because the forest is inhabited by many beasts and she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt. She is naturally concerned about her swan friends and other animals. However, Honore states that he knows the forest well and that it is not that scary.

Raymond jumps in to agree, saying that there was a huge black bear there, but he hunted it down with ease, proving he is a skilled hunter and also that the forest is safer now. They debunked Signy right away and she is running out of excuses. To make matters worse, Ferdinand says that he will protect Signy. He does so by puffing his chest, which makes Ambrose wonder out loud if Ferdinand is really a prince since his uncouth actions indicate differently perhaps.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Ferdinand continues in the same tone, while Ambrose is speechless and Hermann calls Ferdinand a fool even. However, this works in Signy’s favor, because Hermann indicates that they can’t possibly insist on the princess going with them to such a place as the forest. However, he suggests something even worse…

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Much to Signy’s quiet disappointment, other prices seem to agree with Hermann. His suggestion about them leaving alone to hunt in the forest, without SIgny that is, gets general approval. The King also agrees, adding a finishing touch to Signy’s unspoken defeat.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

Signy attempts to salvage what she can of the situation. Since it is clear this train has left the station and that she can’t deter the group from this hunting idea, it is best that she does come along. However, since we chose to disagree Signy now has to convince them all, including her father, that she should come.

Signy says that she would love to go since all are so excited for participating in this hunt. Ferdinand is delighted at the idea, saying that it is a choice worthy of a Queen.

Dress up! Time Princess Swan Lake

This is the only real difference from the first choice where we agreed, and the rest of the stage 1-4 runs the same. The band departs the next day and it is up to Signy to pick an outfit. It is not Dress up! Time. The stage 1-4 tips suggest we need Noble and Formal clothing, so depending on your wardrobe, try to get that score up as high as you can.
